God exists outside religion…

I have always wondered what God thinks about religions that divide people, because according to the religions themselves, there is actually only one entity whose ultimate goal is a divided humanity. 🙂

Libya terrorists were trained and located in The U.K. – the Manchester Bomber was a youngster of one of the jihadi families.
Fucking Obama and Blair were the glad handing assassins wielding knives behind their backs. And let’s not forget that toad Sarkozski.
Religions are as necessary as calendars are – there are many many of both in history – often most religions encapsulate calendar events. Including solar, moon, planet and much longer cycles.
It is how knowledge was transferred before papyrus and stone tablets and writing became widespread. The remaining cave art and monuments bear testimony to the scientific nature of religions. These who understand science don’t go around making human sacrifices at every eclipse or natural event to pacify some great powerful gods.
They are fuckwits, those who do not understand what the word ‘fittest’ means in the context of evolution. Changing environments caused by natural forces will be better suited for certain variants and not the majority that favoured the previous environment.

Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Patrushev published a policy article in the magazine “Razvedchik” “The Collapse of Parasitic Empires.”
Very interesting material.
“The collapse of the USSR led to a shift in the balance of power, and fighters for dominance hastened to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen their dictatorship over the rest of the world. Today, the United States and Europe are spending enormous resources on searching for and educating so-called young democratic leaders in specialized educational centers, who will then be used to organize coups d’etat in order to form Western-dependent regimes in previously independent states.
It has become commonplace that “leaders” trained in this way turn out to be ordinary puppets, receiving money and instructions from the CIA, MI6 and other Western intelligence agencies.
Westerners gain additional leverage by involving promising managers and representatives of law enforcement agencies in training, who then become conductors of harmful ideas to the detriment of the national interests of their states.
In recent years, hundreds of employees of foreign intelligence services, as well as other persons involved in organizing intelligence and subversive activities against our country and our strategic partners, have been identified and neutralized.”

US policy-making circles have convinced themselves of America’s supposedly special messianic destiny – to rule the world through a strong foreign policy, without recognizing anyone’s interests. They actively interfere in internal processes throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia, and build new alliances for themselves.
Among them are the AUKUS trilateral partnership with the UK and Australia, the US-Japan-ROK triangle, which are aimed at China, Russia, North Korea and other countries in the region that do not obey the will of Washington. In the Asia-Pacific region, the White House is obsessed with creating a networked security structure in which Tokyo plays a significant role. Plans are being hatched to create a NATO branch in the Asia-Pacific region.

The expansion of the US military machine is accompanied by a forced reformatting of the mentality and spirituality of the population of all countries in which the Anglo-Saxons intend to expand their influence.
False ideas and values designed to consolidate the neocolonial claims of the West are systematically and obsessively implanted into their public consciousness.
First of all, these are the ideas of globalism, the complete opposite of patriotism, which does not recognize the diversity of cultures and ways of life and is designed to forcibly drive all countries and peoples under the banner of Western consumer civilization.
In addition, this is already a tired propaganda of false theories of gender diversity with the invention of dozens of genders and the ability to change a person’s biological parameters at a whim or even under duress.
Finally, this is the development and imposition of insane pseudo-ecological doctrines designed, under the slogans of nature conservation, to justify the need for a radical reduction in the human population.

The distorted Jesus story like other Abramic religions comes from a need for superiority, by certain humans over other humans….
Posted by: sean the leprechaun | Sep 16 2023 13:54 utc | 100
You know there’s an excellent book of precisely how that distortion of the story was carried off.
Bruno Bauer (once mentor then dialectical sparing partner of Karl Marx after publishing an essay called The Jewish Question to which Marx famously responded) wrote a book in later in life called “Christ and the Caesars.
A real eye opener for a former Catholic. Worth a read for anyone who wants to get closer to the truth behind Christianity. In a nutshell, it was an amalgam of Jewish messianism and Greek stoicism that emerged out of the place of their mixing: Greek, then Roman Alexandria.
As for the preceding Jewish religion it was a purely tribal thing with no relevance for anyone outside the group. In that sense universal Christianity, although based on massive lies cooked up to expand it’s popularity and Roman power, at a certain stage, was an advance, in it’s time, of course.
Here’s a free copy of the book:

Sky News: President Biden was abruptly forced to end a media conference in Vietnam last weekend after he fumbled through questions from journalists.
He had fielded questions on global affairs when he fronted the media before later bizarrely ending his response to a reporter with: “I don’t know about you, but I’m going to go to bed”.

Turkiye is like Bharat. Pragmatic. They will be in as many organizations simultaneously as they possibly can.
Opportunities multiply as they are seized.
While too many options can impede decision making, a surplus of options is usually considered a very positive position to be in.

So how do you open the valves with all the control systems out of work? Someone has to be sent in to do this dangerous job manually. As mentioned, the workers on the ground are temporary contractors sent by temping agencies. Nobody knew them well and more importantly nobody could order them (the remainder. Remember some of them had run away) around especially to send them on a death mission.
In the end, someone was sent in to open the valve, but the moment he unscrewed the valve slightly, he was assaulted with a violent jet of radioactive steam. He immediately abandoned his mission.
So the option of using electricity generated by the mobile power station to pump the suitable cooling water into the reactor has to be dropped after much drawn out fuss.
All opportunities are lost and the level 2 disaster finally spiralled into level 7 disaster.
Some more mind boggling anecdotes:
On March 15, Prime Minister Naoto Kan asked the Self-Defense Forces (SDF), the equivalent of Japanese army to send helicopters to get water from the sea to cool the units, but the Ministry of Defense refused.
It was only after Kan’s repeated request that the SDF dispatched helicopters to carry out the mission. But these helicopters nonchalantly performed a couple of tricks from high above the sky before withdrawing. Later, the Self-Defense Forces argued that they didn’t trust TEPCO’s data to defend their uncooperative attitude.
In the end, some 2000 rescue workers did arrive on the site, but these were not Tepco employees or army soldiers or government civil servants. They were daredevils, debt ridden desperados, mafia criminals and prisoners to whom Tepco and the Japanese government promised money and prison sentence reductions. It was the life Squid Game for them.
Some US soldiers participated in the rescue operation. The tragedy is that 51 of them developed cancer afterwards and some of their partners gave birth to handicapped babies. These US soldiers were reassured by the Japanese authority at the time that the radioactivity was negligeable.
On the third day of the accident, the CEO of Tepco checked into hospital. With the pretext of illness, he abandoned the nuclear disaster to the others to handle.
To conclude, the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan was 100% a man-made disaster that could have been avoided. Tepco erred on several fronts, the first is design flaws; the second is the systematic concealment and falsification of data; the third is the total lack of emergency drills in the last 40 years; and the fourth is the criminal abandon of leadership and the criminal hesitation to take decisions which could have avoided the disaster due to consideration of cost and profit. Everything that should have been done was not done.
Since it is a man-made disaster, TEPCO and the Japanese Government should assume full responsibility.
However today we see Tepco and Japanese government continuing in their stupidity, irresponsibility, and criminal behavior by dumping the toxic nuclear contaminated water into the sea. The sample and statistics provided by Tepco which served as the basis for the IAEA report to white wash the operation can’t be trusted. Remember it was exactly the systemic data tempering which Tepco indulged in during 40 years which largely contributed to the disaster!

Haven’t you and Sheila already demonstrated that neither of you believe in me or in so-called, “Faith breathers”?
You don’t think much of your fellow man and don’t realize that the flaws you see in others, are likely to belong also to you. Such is hubris, which I have found to be necessary for both Liberalism and Atheism.
But hey, humans have never been consistent or consistently rational. At some level, we’re all emotional creatures or we would be psychopaths, which ironically tend to be atheists rather than theists. That is what happens when humans don’t recognize any morals or constraints, let alone appreciate anything spiritual.
If atheism is not a religion (I clearly meant as a proxy for religious belief, the way that Paganism is a proxy for Monotheism) then it is nihilism because only a child believes in other humans as being the architects and controllers of everything. Humans can be glorious and disgusting, sometimes all on the same day.

I have always wondered what God thinks about religions that divide people, because according to the religions themselves, there is actually only one entity whose ultimate goal is a divided humanity. 🙂

That was my first inkling something wasn’t right as a kid. Would God really send all non Christians to hell? It never made sense to me. And if he’s cool with different paths to the truth, then why don’t we just pick the religion that we like as kids? Why does everyone in one country or ethnicity have to have the same religion?
Now, of course, I realize God started as a projection of latent human powers into the sky when humans were weaker and subordinate to nature and was then used to manipulate large populations in a later period by an elite.
In reality, God is humanity united around a single purpose, the greater good. In that sense, when humanity is forcibly united around a goal that is to benefit only a small group and injure the vast majority, that’s Satanic.
Governments like religious thinking for good reason. The people renounce their godlike power and freedom for slavery and wallowing in the animal functions: eat, sleep, drink (or drug), slave, fuck, fight.
It’s high time for the masses to see God in themselves and their collective action on behalf of their fellows. To that God, I am devoted.

I suppose they are working to come up with Biden’s replacement but they don’t want to cloud the issue of getting rid of President Dementia. First things first.

I suppose they are working to come up with Biden’s replacement but they don’t want to cloud the issue of getting rid of President Dementia. First things first.

This was one of your posts that I liked best, although I do disagree with the early premise quoted above.
Christianity is not all theism. I find atheists tend to focus on Christianity almost exclusively of other religions when there is a lot of variance and difference between many faiths.

Zero hedge has a story up from Epoch Times that an armed man posing as a federal agent was arrested at an RFK event in Los Angeles yesterday. The story was briefly up on the Daily Mail site, but it seems to have been taken down there. This is my third attempt to post about the story here.

The ancient Chinese Taoist philosopher Lao Tzu said it best about religions, “The way that can be named, is not the real way.”

Bravo!!! That’s the opening verse of Dao De Jin and you understood it perfectly as applicable to religion.
In Lao Tze’s day there was no conceptual religion, so Lao Tze was referring to understanding of nature/humanity. He taught that Dao is fluid, changes with time and circumstances as nature evolves, as opposed to others (Confucius, Greek philosophers, et alia) who believed there is a set way nature intends on how things ought to be, and it’s up to human pursuit to discover what that correct set way is. I myself gravitate towards Lao Tze’s way of thinking.
One other major difference between Eastern and western (Greek) philosophy. Ancient eastern (Chinese, Hindu/Buddhist,…) believe truth cannot be precisely expressed in words, can only be felt spiritually via mental understanding. The west spent believes in wordings, and argues on whether some wordings are more accurate than others.

ZH has a posting up with the title
Currency Wars Versus Gold Standards
The quote

As is the case between the dollar and most other fiat currencies, there is a relative trust factor working against the rouble. Irrespective of interest rate differentials, it is the fact that fiat currency values are tied to nothing more than the faith in them. And Russia now faces the problem that in a fiat currency regime run in western capital markets it can never match the faith and credit in the US dollar. In current currency conditions, the dollar can always undermine the rouble because the US controls the fiat currency agenda.

The article explains the benefits to Russia of going on a gold standard for its money all by itself and the domino effect that this would create…..China would be right behind, I expect.
Where I have been calling this approach a neutron bomb, the author calls in a hydrogen bomb but otherwise validates the potential reality of such a move.
This sort of event, if before US (s)election next year will totally change the focus of politics and leadership, IMO

Delighted to see this piece in Naked Capitalism – I’ve been a reader for years

Satyajit Das: Why You Should Support Naked Capitalism’s “Imagined Community” (More Powerful Than That Might Sound!)
Posted on September 16, 2023 by Yves Smith
Lambert here: I wanted to break in here because I’m quite taken with the concept of “imagined community” that Das introduces below. The classic sociologist’s buzzphrase for groups of people connected through the Intertubes is “the strength of weak ties” (Granovetter, 1973). But as a moment’s thought will show, the ties between Naked Capitalism readers are not weak at all, mediated through this site though they be. One obvious example is the success of our fundraisers; after all, a donation benefits not merely the donor, but all readers. Second, we have the many cases of readers offering each other mutual aid, whether in the case of information from trusted sources on Covid prophylactics, mitigations, and vaccines, or various on- or of-the-ground issues like plantings or bugs, and, of course, deciphering the increasingly incomprehensible news (a second example of trusted sources). These are strong ties! Although, like anything living that is strong, they need to be exercised and kept in good trim. Das has links to the Tip Jar, so I won’t add one, but if you were to glance to your right….
By Satyajit Das, a former banker and author of numerous works on derivatives and several general titles: Traders, Guns & Money: Knowns and Unknowns in the Dazzling World of Derivatives (2006 and 2010), Extreme Money: The Masters of the Universe and the Cult of Risk (2011), Fortune’s Fool: Australia’s Choices (2022)

I’m told it was a US company (General Electric) that built the reactor in the first place, the intention being to have it deliberately collapse. I talked this over at a Global South open thread, and ‘Minh’ (https://globalsouth.co/2023/08/24/daily-chronicles-82/comment-page-1/#comment-7139 ) provided a link to an article suggesting that the USA’s intention was to blackmail Japan to save the US banking system.
https://behindthenews.co.za/weather-warfare/
(The section on Japan briefly touches on, however indirectly, the fact that Japan has been occupied by, and takes orders from, the USA since WWII.)
I don’t know if the America-China Watcher/PandemicTruther is aware of this damning story of US involvement in the Fukushima meltdown.
It seems to me that a lot of these discussions (on GlobalTimes, etc.) omit the story from the picture, either because they don’t know it yet or because it’s more convenient that way (i.e. to point fingers at Japan and let the USA get off scot-free).

Thanks for the reference on origins of Christianity. That website also links “Who Wrote the Gospels?” by Randel McGraw Helms — a book which ignited my own (more or less atheist) interest in Biblical scholarship. I’ve found you don’t have to be a Christian to ask interesting questions about the good book. For instance: Why was Jesus so mad at that fig tree, anyhow? He threw a holy fit, scourging the poor tree for being fruitless, with full knowledge that it wasn’t the right time of year of figs! There might be a coherent explanation, but it would have to stretch into cryptic Zen territory — the sound of one hand clapping or some such.
Another classic reference along these lines: “Who Was Jesus?” by G.A. Wells. Have a look at Q source, also called “the sayings gospel” — inferred from passages shared by the synoptic gospels. These are quite venerable sayings, stitched inconsistently into stories about a personality by the various gospel authors. With John the Baptist, there are independent (Roman and Jewish) references to this person’s existence. Not so with Jesus: no historical confirmation.
Which is totally okay, except that Christians have a bizarre craving for historical accuracy, in their objects of worship. I really doubt any Hindus collect relics of Vishnu.

Many thanks to you, L’s D, for the RT interview with Maria Zakharova at Vladivostok. She covered many comparisons between what is happening today and historical antecedents that deserve further interpretation. My own is that each nation has the good and the bad, that fortunately we can learn, both as individuals and as larger groups, from our own mistakes. Father Zossima in “The Brothers Karamazov” tells the great sinner Fyodor, the father of the Karamazov brothers, that he ought not to lie to himself about himself.
I am remembering the Stravinsky/Cocteau staging of “Oedipus Rex” – my senior year at college, in Washington, DC, we attended a performance conducted by Stravinsky himself. The words, spoken in English, not the original French, (though the opera itself in Latin) — “…He falls … He falls — headlong!!”
Hugely memorable. When I was a student, this country was great. As had been Oedipus when he solved the riddle of the sphinx. Now, it falls; it falls headlong.
So it ought to be about nations as well, and I think Putin has an excellent stance in this respect, but as countries face humiliation as the West is now doing, that need not be as calamitous as it is for some fictional characters of the past — Oedipus is one I’ve been thinking about. I’ll have to reread “Oedipus at Colonus” but my memory is that through suffering he has somewhat achieved redemption, and already in “Oedipus Rex” there is a quality of seeking the truth that is both his gift and his curse (to paraphrase a loveable tv character).

Farewell Oedipus; Oedipus farewell.

Think about those words “I’m fighting for the people.”
Do you believe those words? I certainly don’t and think its Donny’s role in the Red/Blue Money party script to keep the hooks in the faith breathers.
Americans and the West are living in a highly scripted Wag The Dog bubble that is almost at max cognitive dissonance and totally disassociated with the greater geopolitical reality.

Wall Street On Parade has a posting up on the bleeding in the US banking sector that includes the following:

Republic First Bancorp’s stock price has declined by 96 percent in the past 12 months as of yesterday’s closing price. Its stock was delisted from Nasdaq last month and it closed at a stunning 27-1/2 cents in over-the-counter trading yesterday.
Republic First Bancorp is far from the only bank holding company that has suffered huge share price losses over the past 12 months. HomeStreet (ticker HMST) has lost almost 75 percent of its market value. It’s a West Coast bank with 60 branch offices in Washington state, Oregon, California and Hawaii. As of June 30, it had assets of $9.5 billion.
PacWest Bancorp, parent of Pacific Western Bank, has also suffered steep share price losses, losing over 70 percent in the past year. Pacific Western Bank has 77 branches and $38 billion in assets as of June 30.
A much smaller bank holding company, Carver Bancorp, is the parent of Carver Federal Savings Bank, which has 7 branch offices in New York and $713 million in assets as of June 30, according to the FDIC. Its stock has lost 56 percent of its value over the past 12 months.
This is just a tiny sampling of the ongoing wreckage to equity values in the banking sector – raising the very serious question as to how this is all going to shake out before year’s end.

The problem with Bharat is that it’s being done for sectarian reasons. Some Indians, not necessarily a majority, are interested in a change; masses of others are not. Bharat was the name of one ancient tribe in India.
Turkiye is scarcely different from present English usage, and no-one will notice it.

Global South leaders demand end of ‘plundering international order’
G77+China summit comes amid growing frustration with the Western-led world order because of widening differences over the Russian war in Ukraine, the fight against climate change and the global economic system.
Cuba’s leader says the Global South must “change the rules of the game” of the international order after centuries of dominance by wealthy Western nations putting their own interests first.
President Miguel Diaz-Canel said developing countries were the main victims of a “multidimensional crisis” in the world today from “abusive unequal trade” to devastating climate change.
“After all this time that the North has organised the world according to its interests, it is now up to the South to change the rules of the game,” Diaz-Canel said at the opening of the G77+China summit in Havana.
A draft of the closing statement underlines the many obstacles facing developing nations, and includes “a call for the establishment of a new economic world order”, he said.
The summit takes place just a few days ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York City.
“The voice of the G77 plus China will always be essential at the United Nations,” Guterres said. “And I count on your group, who have long been champions of multilateralism, to step up, to use your power, and fight – champion a system rooted in equality; champion a system ready to reverse the injustice and neglect of centuries.”

🇲🇱🇫🇷 The connection between Tuareg rebels in Mali and France
Russian channel Rybar got an interesting, but an expected information. Apparently, French foreign intelligence agency DGSE has a close connection to the Azawad movement in northern Mali.
The attack on the town of Bourem was a test of the militia forces and the capabilities of the Malian army and the remaining units of the PMC “Wagner”. At the moment, Tuareg rebels under the leadership of French operatives are preparing for an offensive on the city of Gao.
France promised a support to Tuaregs in their attempts to make an independent state and against the jihadist militants.
All this is done to weaken pro-Russian influence in the Sahel and at the same time to motivate other terrorist groups to intensify attacks on Mali’s armed forces.

Political scientist: The danger is not the Rome Statute, but changes in Yerevan’s politics (EurAsia Daily, September 16, 2023 — in Russian)

The National Assembly (Parliament) of Armenia is preparing to ratify the Rome Statute, which is already on the big agenda of the National Assembly. The upcoming discussions are expected to lead to a “hot” debate between supporters and opponents of developing relations between Yerevan and Moscow.
Commenting on the current situation to EADaily, Armenian political scientist and legal scholar Andrias Gukasyan notes that for the Russian Federation, the greater danger is not the Rome Statute itself, but the expected change in Yerevan’s policy, which is defined in the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the European Union.
The political scientist recalls that Armenia is one of the founders of the Rome Statute, which was signed in 1998 during the presidency of Robert Kocharyan. The document was not ratified then, since in 2004 the Constitutional Court of Armenia recognized it as inconsistent with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic that was in force at the time.
Gukasyan notes that in 2017, Armenia signed the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement with the European Union, according to which Yerevan committed to ratifying the Rome Statute. On March 1, 2019, the agreement with the EU came into force as it was ratified by all EU member states. Thus, since 2019, Yerevan had an obligation to Brussels to ratify the Rome Statute, by which the republic will recognize the powers of the International Criminal Court in the Hague to prosecute on the country’s territory people involved in crimes against humanity of international significance. The ICC, as the political scientist notes, does not replace, but complements the criminal justice systems of states in cases that qualify as crimes against humanity.
Gukasyan notes that ratification of the document will have an impact on Armenian–Russian relations, since, in essence, it will result to changes in Yerevan’s foreign policy, in accordance with the provisions of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement with the EU. Since 2018, when the current Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan came to power, this document [the Agreement — S] has been practically frozen. With the ratification of the Rome Statute, the Armenian government intends to implement the provisions of the document, which provides for a grant of €2.6 billion to Armenia. In response to this assistance, Yerevan must make changes to the country’s legislation in various fields—science, education, tourism, industry and other areas, bringing it into line with European standards.
“The application of these conditions may result in truly comprehensive cooperation, and it is this factor, and not the Rome Statute, that should worry Moscow,” the political scientist notes.

The turn towards the West didn’t start with Pashinyan—Pashinyan simply cemented it. His main tasks were to give up Nagorno-Karabakh (done), blame Russia for it (ongoing) and push Russia out (remains to be done).

It’s a dirty business…

France’s rejection in French-speaking Africa punishes 12 years of betrayal
by Thierry Meyssan
Nothing happens by chance in politics. The French don’t understand why French-speaking Africans suddenly reject them. They console themselves by accusing Russia of dark machinations. In reality, they are only reaping the rewards of what they have sown over the last 12 years. This has nothing to do with colonialism or Françafrique and everything to do with putting the French army at the service of U.S. strategy.
Voltaire Network | Paris (France) | 12 September 2023
https://www.voltairenet.org/article219665.html
In 2011, President Nicolas Sarkozy, advised by Washington, committed France to Libya. Once again, the official aim was to stop a genocide committed by a dictator against his own people. To lend credibility to this accusation, the CIA, which was behind France’s actions, organized false testimony before the Human Rights Council in Geneva. In New York, the United Nations Security Council authorized the major powers to intervene to stop the massacre, which did not exist. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev turned a blind eye.
U.S. President Barack Obama wanted AfriCom to finally begin operations in Africa, where he did not reside, as his soldiers were still stationed in Germany. But at the last minute, AfriCom’s commander refused to fight against Muamar Gaddafi alongside the jihadists who had fought his comrades in Iraq (the US military still hasn’t admitted the CIA’s double game of supporting the jihadists against Russia, often to the detriment of Westerners). Barack Obama therefore called on NATO, forgetting that he had previously promised not to mobilize it against a Southern country.
Nevertheless, Muamar Gaddafi was tortured and lynched, and Libya was dismembered. However, the Libyan Arab Jamahariya, which was not at all a dictatorship but a regime inspired by the French socialists of the 19th century and the Paris Commune, was the only African force aiming to unite Arabs and blacks. Gaddafi wanted to liberate the continent as he had liberated his compatriots from Western colonialism. He was even preparing to pilot, with IMF Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn, a common currency for several African states.
His fall awakened his enemies. Blacks were once again massacred by Arabs, even if they were Libyan nationals, and reduced to slavery, under the insensitive eyes of the Western victors. The poor African states economically supported by Libya collapsed, starting with Mali [3]. Arab jihadists, brought to power in Tripoli by NATO, supported certain Tuaregs against blacks in general. The problem gradually spread to the whole of Sahelian Africa.
