i do not know how many gallons f-35 burns in an average minute of too hot stress on its unreliable engine, i do know it demands 16000 pounds (roughly 3000 gallons) of high grade jet kerosene to fill its tank, f-16 filled with 6000 pounds!
i doubt the european f-35 owners can afford to refit with an engine that don’t burn out regularly!

Let’s assume that in fact there were 4,000 Wagner fighters following Prigozhin on his “stunt”…although I have yet to see any evidence of that number, because the number in Rostov couldn’t have exceeded a couple hundred, and there are next to zero videos of his “convoy” showing three thousand more fighters. His claim of “25,000 fighters” is complete bullshit. Also note that it appears he stayed in Rostov while his alleged “convoy” tried going to Moscow and allegedly ran into trouble… I don’t recall seeing anything about him actually accompanying the convoy…
But to continue…
Let’s assume that those 4,000 – or X number – of Wagner fighters who followed Prigozhin on his stunt continue to believe in him, don’t mind being exiled to Belarus, and would continue to serve under him (even though he is not a commander with any military experience) and who believe that he has made some deal with Lukashenko or whoever to continue being able to PAY them…
Let’s assume that those X fighters do follow him to Belarus…
Then here’s a scenario that does makes sense…
Consider this:

This would mean only a portion of Wagner would go there, and they would not be there for any reason related to “attacking Kiev” – which as I said is a non-starter absent large numbers of Russian regular military which, despite Macgregor’s claims, we have no evidence exists in Belarus.
But I could just see a scenario as I outline above. It would entirely depend on all those “assumes” I mentioned, however…
As for Prigozhin himself, it was been reported that he might go back to Africa where some of his personnel are still located, doing training in places like Mali.
The criminal case against him has not been dropped…yet. In any case, he’s in Belarus, but Belarus is part of the CSTO and Union State, so he’d probably be extradicted if Russia asks – another good reason to go to Africa.
I assume Putin’s reference to “organizers” was an oblique reference to Prigozhin – he didn’t mention Prigozhin by name – although he may be waiting for the formal investigation to conclude before committing himself to saying it was Prigozhin only.

He said absolutely nothing specific about Western intelligence agencies being behind it.

I wouldn’t rule out that they actively tried to capitalize on it after the fact (and will continue to do so).

I like conspiracy theories as much as the next guy – probably more so. I mean, I read “Illuminatus” when it came out in paperback back in the 70’s. Robert Anton Wilson is one my Main Men.
But precisely because of that, the minute someone brings one up, I start thinking about plausibility. Since 99% of such theories aren’t plausible in the real world, that tends to make me a Debby Downer.

He cast Prigozhin as an “oligarch”, detailing the mercenary’s criminal past in St Petersburg.
In 1981, aged 20, Prigozhin was sentenced to 13 years in jail for robbery and assault, including choking a woman until she lost consciousness, according to court documents from the time.
“That’s all you need to know about Prigozhin,” said Surkov.

Just now listening to Mercouris – a relatively rare occurrence these days – for his take on the “stunt”.
He reminded me of the event of Wagner fighters being intercepted in Belarus in 2020 (IIRC) based on a operation by Ukrainian intelligence to trick Wagner into a contract in South America, but in reality to get them arrested as part of a plot against Lukashenko. And that was followed by the Belarus “color revolution” attempt which is why Lukashenko decided to cozy up to Russia.
Mercouris points out that Lukashenko knows Prigozhin, and probably knows what sort of person he is, and probably does not trust the idea of having Prigozhin and any significant number of his fighters in Belarus, in particular as a “Praetorian Guard”, as I suggested earlier. So if Prigozhin tries to set up a new version of Wagner in Belarus with X number of his Rostov fighters, he’s likely to get a cold shoulder from Lukashenko.
I’m inclined to agree. It makes my scenario I mentioned earlier much less likely. So I suspect that if any of his 4,000 fighters – if that’s how many there actually were in Russia – follow him to Belarus, it will just make it more likely that the whole lot will be returning to Africa or elsewhere.

Here’s a very interesting video of Ukies stuck in a minefield and trying to evacuate their wounded. The rescuers get their own foot blown off by anti personnel mines. The Russians must have scattered The collected petal mines that the Ukies thrown at Donbass civilians.
Looks like the Russian side fell asleep as usual and not seen so much activities in front of them.
