Don Bacon @197: “Wagner chief warns Russians could revolt if invasion continues to struggle”
A new genuine revolution in Russia would not necessarily be a bad thing. Putin very likely wouldn’t even oppose it. The liberals and oligarchs in Russia don’t have a very large support base in the Russian population so the actual fighting part of the revolution would be fairly brief and anticlimactic. The military certainly wouldn’t throw its weight behind the liberals. The empire would activate whatever assets it has remaining in Russia in order to destabilize the revolution, so you would have a few gay parades and some terrorist Nazi violence, but that stuff would not get very much traction.
Anyway, a new genuine revolution in Russia would definitely change the character of the SMO, but not in a direction to the Nazis (or NATO/NAFO) liking.

What is this guy? Russian Journalists and bloggers have been targeted. If they give out their itinerary, they will be killed. The American target is journalists.

a supposed “Hello from General Zaluzhny” yesterday

Slavyangrad talks about a new business model for the US MIC: “Fighter as a service” (FaaS) using the expense prone F-35.
Hindustan Times mentioned Ukr. reserves being sent to Adeeveka. Maybe this becomes the new meat grinder for the 70K dead end guys.
I notice that ‘clobber list’ tank kills have become rare. Now, APC kills seem less frequent and “vehicles” kills more common. In addition, that border crossing into Russia didn’t look all that well supported. I think the Ukr. cupboard is getting empty.

I suspect Putin will oversee evolution rather than revolution. I guess there is a fine line between those two aspects of change. Best way I can put it is that babies get thrown out with the bathwater during revolution, and with evolution, the babies are saved.

Yes. He’s a blogger on the Ukrainian (CIA) kill list.
His opsec is atrocious.
I enjoy his channel, which is similar to Alex Christoforou, but Mike reports from Moscow and St Petersburg – and Donbass when he does the humanitarian trips.
When his friend and fellow blogger John Mark Dougan said they hadn’t returned from Soledar….. there were heaps of Ukrainian missile strikes in Donetsk and surrounds yesterday….
I’m relieved he and Marsha are safe.
Maybe someone can give him some tips about personal security.
He’s been careless enough to show his house, his bukanka rego plates, and other stuff.
The osint geolocators will have pinned his locations in nanoseconds.

Adeeveka is the next very obvious grinder. The tranny comedian masquerading as a Mexican bandit – it will be interesting to see how he green screens this.

That is a foolish thing. All who do not comply to the rules based order are targeted. Back around 2013 my home was raided because I was researching something I should not have been researching. Now I have username trolls hitting me here and also my VK account.

The Russian press office have released a long briefing on the operation of US biolabs in Ukraine. Most of this is over my head, but here it is for the scientifically minded:

Briefing by Chief of Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops General Lieutenant Igor Kirillov on U.S. military-biological activity

Posted by: Jim2 | May 26 2023 16:26 utc | 215

The author’s conclusions following this part of the article are basically Western bullshit. But his description of the situation from the Russian point of view as described above is spot on – and Russia is correct in this assessment.
Once again, this is why the Ukraine war is happening, and why, as Martyanov has pointed out, Russia has been enhancing its military capabilities in areas such as air defense and hypersonic missiles both on land and sea: nuclear security for Russia has been reduced by the actions of the US.
So it’s not that nuclear weapons will be given to Ukraine NOW – but that they were guaranteed to be installed in Ukraine at some point in the form of Aegis Ashore installations – and the intended seizure of the Sevastopol naval base in 2014 by Ukraine was to remove the Russian Black Sea Fleet threat, thus leaving Russia at the mercy of NATO. Russia has seen all this very clearly, as referenced by Putin’s statements over several years, as pointed out by Ray McGovern in his speech to the Boston church peace group a month or so ago, and also referenced in this article.
This is what matters: the morons in the US were and are seriously planning to attack Russia with a nuclear first strike after decapitating Russia’s primary retaliatory and command capability – REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THAT WOULD ACTUALLY WORK!
Posted by: Richard Steven Hack | May 26 2023 9:10 utc | 153
I don’t necessarily agree with all of the conclusions in this. A very limited number of interceptor missiles deployed in Poland and Romania would not be able to intercept a significant fraction of Russia’s ICBM. Such a system should be able to neutralize a missile strike by Iran as has been stated as its purpose. If Tomahawk cruise missiles, especially nuclear armed cruise missiles, were substituted for interceptor missiles, that would be a profoundly threatening first strike weapon against Russia. Hypersonic missiles would be an even greater threat. Of course such missiles could be launched from ships or submarines in the Black Sea.
The solution might be steps to build confidence. There is no reason why Russia should be denied opportunities to periodically inspect the missile launch cells of these Aegis Ashore systems. Unfortunately; no US President has had the integrity or the opportunity to engage in meaningful negotiations with Russia. President Trump might have done so, but he was crippled by the phony “Russia Collusion” allegations.

Sir Richard Dearlove, ex-MI6 chief and overseer of the Steele dossier, is calling for more war! (ukcolumnnews 26/5/23)
And that the Ukraine´s war is our war. This man is stuck in the Cold War.
And, in retirement, who is he representing? Who pays for his trips to Kiev?
This man is dangerous – and deluded.

*** There is no reason why Russia should be denied opportunities to periodically inspect the missile launch cells of these Aegis Ashore systems.***
With all being designed and prepared in advance, how long would it take to switch that system from one (claimed) purpose, to the other?
Even with surprise inspections, there would be time-gaps.
And would anyone be daft enough to trust US/NATO anyway….

Indeed so — but he represents the US/NATO poliical establishment.
With the UK regime (of whatever big-party franchise) as its servant.

This bizarre claim has been repeated a million times, and it needs to stop. I am sick and tired of hearing it. It is stupid. It is absolutely, pig-fucking stupid.
No country is sending is sending its military equipment to Ukraine simply to dispose of it, on the theory that this somehow improves its military economics. Have you ever heard of the Broken Windows Fallacy? Lost equipment is a loss, not a gain. If you give away a howitzer, a tank, or a fighter jet that gets destroyed, it either has to be borne without in the future or it has to be replaced by spending money we don’t have. Under what kind of ass-idiot accounting does this qualify as an asset?
Really, the mere fact that anyone could believe this theory testifies to the fact that some people spend far too much time with their head in the news, hatching farfetched ideological blame games, and not nearly enough time in reality.

The MIC is not sending any planes to Ukraine.
Any country that is stupid enough to fall for this idea only has themselves to blame!
Do you really think all these European Leaders are geniuses?
Also – do you understand how 6 figure & 7 figure personal payments to the right politicians can grease the policy wheels?
It seems you don’t.
I suggest you look into the concept of corruption and how it acts on the political process – it seems you are entirely unfamiliar with it!! (Or just incredibly naive)
