Putin absolutely will not allow the assassination of Zelensky. When Russia is finished with grinding the Ukraine’s face in the mud, they will need a puppet to run what’s left of the Ukraine while the new constitution is written and referenda are held. Zelensky would be the ideal sock puppet for the Russians. They just have to flip Z-boy to the Russian side, and trust me, he will flip. Zelensky will eagerly flip. He’ll flip like a fish on a hot sidewalk. He’ll flip like one of those toy poodles on crack doing the one trick it knows over and over again desperately hoping for a pat on the head from his new boss, Putin.
The only question is whether the Nazis and CIA will let him live long enough to land that gig.

Units of the Wagner PMC advanced 230 meters and took control of an area of 54 square meters
– Losses of “Wagner” – 116 people dead;
– Shell hunger – the most acute
Since they started publishing stats on Wagner, it is showing how much they are sacrificing for every square meter. The lose about 1 person for every 2 meters they take. That is a heavy toll. And those who sit back and say Russia has “all the time in the world” to just “grind down the Ukrainian forces” are fools. The successful Russian forces are being ground down too, and they still haven’t cleared the Ukrainian forces from Donbass.
Russia and Russians are not taking this war serious enough by a long shot. NATO is in it for the long-run and U.S. and much of Europe seek to destroy Russia.

He reads his Surovikin-approved scripts really well. You strangely missed out the fact that he also said the UA had lost over 500 men in that engagement and last night secured several more city blocks.
As for drone strikes on the mainland, one simple question. How does that help UA forces getting hammered daily on the line of contact and increasingly losing their logistics hubs?

I see no one has addressed my important comment from the previous thread about Ukraine being seen as Terrorist State from its failed drone attack. Head of the Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has now “branded Ukraine a terrorist state after a failed drone attack on the Kremlin” RT reports. Here’s most of the report:

Senior Russian lawmaker Vyacheslav Volodin has called on Moscow to use any weapons necessary to remove the “Nazi regime” in Kiev. The comments followed a failed Ukrainian drone attack on the Kremlin that allegedly targeted President Vladimir Putin in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
“The terrorist act against the president is an attack on Russia,” Volodin, who serves as State Duma chairman, said in a Telegram post.
“[Vladimir] Zelensky, who gave orders to carry out terrorist attacks, now stands on a par with other international terrorists,” he added, referring to the Ukrainian president. Volodin claimed that the government in Kiev is as dangerous as groups such as Al-Qaeda and Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS).
He further alleged that Ukraine’s “criminal methods” have become evident to the entire world, accusing it of tactics including nuclear blackmail, the assassination of public and political figures, the sabotage of civilian infrastructure, and attempts on Putin’s life.
The Kiev terrorist regime, having seized an entire state, threatens the security of Russia, Europe, and the whole world,” the Duma official added. He insisted that Western nations which are pumping Zelensky’s government with weapons are now “direct accomplices” to terrorist activities. [My Emphasis]
Volodin proclaimed that there “can be no negotiations with the Zelensky regime” following the attempted attack on the Kremlin, and vowed that Russian lawmakers will “demand the use of weapons capable of stopping and destroying the Kiev terrorist regime.”

One quibble, The Kiev regime didn’t seize an entire state; the Outlaw US Empire seized the state in its 2014 coup; thus, the Empire isn’t just a “direct accomplice;” it’s the Mother Terrorist using Zelensky and Ukraine as tools. Looks like Team Biden got the escalation they were hoping for. However, destroying Kiev won’t kill the Mother Terrorist; it will continue to live on until it’s finally and permanently put to death.

Posted by: LightYearsFromHome | May 3 2023 19:21 utc | 111
I don’t think they are doing the best they can by a long shot. Witness when Ukraine finally does something that makes them angry and they will strike much harder against the Ukrainian electric grid or other targets (though only very temporarily – they won’t keep it up). Official Russia is also not supplying the Donbass and Wagner fighters very well, while it is private charities who are doing a fairly good job at that. If private charities can do it while Russia sits on much larger supplies/stocks of ammunition and weapons – it could definitely do a better job. There is corruption and slowness at the very top which is hurting the fighters, and Putin and others could enact changes to correct much of this but aren’t.
Russia is also being lax with security which is how U.S./NATO/Ukrainian agents can carry out assassinations in Russia.
The recent assassination where the stranger-woman went up and gave a package/box to the recipient which then exploded a couple minutes later shows how lack of paranoia and strictness is costing Russians.

While Ukraine and USA keep denying their obvious objectives of genocide and making the world safe for trans and other delusions, Russia has been very clear and unwavering on theirs: demilitarization of Ukraine and the elimination of the Ukrainian Nazi movement. Every day there is less of the Ukrainian military (and as a bonus, less weapon systems and defense dollars throughout NATO) and every day more Nazis die. How is Russia not winning this military operation?

British seniors still alive today thank the US for saving their bacon. The Western media is an ally of the MIC, and follows the lead of the New York Times, Washington Post, and a few other “venerable” news/commentary/opinion organizations. They seem to be careful to not goad Russia over the attack on the Kremlin, and aren’t commenting on it in any way that would provide cover for a massive retaliation.
So no, there was nothing humiliating about the drone strike, it was merely of the kind of embarrassment that, according to the biased reporting of Western media, a non-insane government doesn’t overreact to. They’d only call the strike by that small drone a humiliating one if Russia was incapable of blasting through Ukraine’s air defenses to reply to it. Then they would mock Putin as looking impotent, and soon to be deposed.
The British media sure don’t want the coronation they’ll be covering to experience any explosions. Which it might anyway, because that monarchy sure has its enemies, ones that hold grudges to a fearsome degree.

Thank you. In simple words, the US has been Nazifying Ukraine to impose fascism on the world.
The particular feature of the ideological situation and practice is the heavy involvement of Straussians (neo-talmudists) in the process of the Nazification of Ukraine.
The financing, training, and weaponizing of Banderites (self-proclaimed Ukrainian Nazi) was never opposed by the American Jewish Community.
The Nazification of Ukraine never interrupted the Jewish Lobby’s vicious attacks on honest historians whose research contradicted the questionable mems of holobiz.
The support for Banderites (all 37 Jewish members of the US Congress have been supporting Zelensky’s government laced with self-proclaimed Nazis) also never stopped the demands for more holobiz reparations, including reparations for “genetic trauma” to the future generations of Jews, to the infinity.

Posted by: Comandante | May 3 2023 19:35 utc | 117
Westerners are pumping Ukraine up with a constant stream of weapons. U.S. got dozens of countries to contribute, while the U.S. and European leaders recently went to China to make sure China wouldn’t aid Russia – and they got what they wanted: China agreed. West is also currently training Ukraine soldiers in their countries. And besides a few mercenaries, no westerners are being killed. The western countries are also physically unscathed from all the fighting. Meanwhile UK sends DU shells which will contaminate Ukrainian and Russian lands.
No westerners’ homes are being destroyed and no westerners’ farmland is being scorched by this war.

2. “As of the end of 2022, the bank with the largest amount of assets marked as “held to maturity” relative to capital was Charles Schwab. Apart from being structured as a bank, Charles Schwab is a prominent stockbroker and owns TD Ameritrade, another prominent stockbroker. Charles Schwab had over $173 billion in assets marked as “held to maturity.” Its capital (assets minus liabilities) stood at under $37 billion. At that time, the difference between the market value and face value of assets held to maturity was over $14 billion.
[Read More: “Yes, the Latest Bank Bailout Is Really a Bailout, and You Are Paying for It.” by Ryan McMaken]
If the accounting technique had not been used the capital would have stood at around $23 billion. This amount is under half the $56 billion Charles Schwab had in capital at the end of 2021. This is also under 15 percent of the amount of assets held to maturity, under 10 percent of securities, and under 5 percent of total assets. An asset ten years from maturity is reduced in present value by 15 percent with a 3 percent increase in the interest rate. An asset twenty years from maturity is reduced in present value by 15 percent with a 1.5 percent increase in the interest rate.”
3. “Held to Maturity” always means Current Market Value is Less Than “what we paid.”

Squelch!

Advanced German Howitzers Supplied to Ukraine Reportedly Hit by…Bad Weather
Germany, along with the other NATO allies of the US, ramped up their military aid to Kiev shortly after Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine.
The advanced German Panzerhaubitze (PzH 2000) self-propelled howitzers which were earlier delivered to Kiev, turned out to be much worse adapted to bad weather than the Soviet-made Pion artillery systems, used by Russian troops in the special operation zone, a US newspaper has reported.
The media outlet cited a Ukrainian serviceman from the Ukrainian army’s 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade as saying that a decision had been made “to pull all of the new Panzerhaubitze 2000s from the field, for fear that the 60-ton howitzers would be unable to escape should they come under fire.”
According to him, one such howitzer had to be towed when it became stuck in the mud at the brigade’s position in southeastern Ukraine. The serviceman added that troops “were busy scraping off a heavily caked layer of sludge from treads and armored plating.”
The US newspaper noted in this vein that even though the Pion self-propelled artillery systems also occasionally get stuck, they “actually perform better in muddy conditions” because of their “metal, claw-like tracks”. In contrast, the Panzers have rubber treads that are better for flat, hard surfaces, the newspaper added.
Even more, the news outlet went on, this German howitzer is so delicate that its “sensitive electronics go haywire when exposed to moisture or dirt.” According to the newspaper, Ukrainian soldiers “have to put on special booties or slippers when they go inside to avoid tracking in mud, and each vehicle comes with its own vacuum cleaner.”
The report comes amid growing speculation about the zero hour of Ukraine’s counteroffensive against Russian forces, with a number of Western news outlets arguing that Kiev is not yet ready for the move.

Seems the Ukrainians made another “recon-in-force” and had to retreat, which actually led them losing their initial position. Just a theory, but if the Ukro forces are relatively scattered and not committed yet, it might yet cause disruptions in any offensive plan.
” Vladislav Ugolny reports:
According to my sources, the Russian forces, pissed off by the insolence of the Khokhols, are now counter-attacking near Orekhovo to occupy Ukrainian positions “on the heels of the retreating” Ukrainian troops.
Specialists from the Zabaykalsky Military District’s drone swarm have been brought into the fight. The 18th Machine Gun Artillery Division (PULAD) are digging up buried T-55s in order to move them to the most endangered area.

I do love it when those who have accurately predicted the general course of the war: Ukraine getting some punches in but being thoroughly stomped into the ground, in return, are accused of populating and contributing to an echo chamber. Where on the side, who understands basic military principles and the differences between the three levels of a conflict, has there ever been this level of inaccurate analysis?*

However you describe it, the real enemy is government. Dosn’t matter if it is leftists or rightists, insiders or outsiders, by the top or by the bottom, the enemy for thousands of years has been government.
Without government the sane but duped 98% would have long ago killed off the psychopathic 2% in the human gene pool.

Zelensky and his cronies are absolutely expendable. They will be sacrificed if it serves the purpose of creating a narrative of an “unwarranted attack on diplomats and head of state”, even if it has only a slight chance of breaking up the East. Unfortunately this may come to occur, whether it’s a false flag or real is irrelevant.
Zelensky is being propped up again across MSM, which can seriously mean massive rage were something to happen. Although he might simply be framed to death and sent off to some Mansion in Tel-Aviv never to be heard of again.

Posted by: unimperator | May 3 2023 20:12 utc | 140

All those events that occurred today are really strange, and I doubt we are told everything there is. Maybe not even half of it.
Zelensky is out of Ukraine, while he was supposed to be on the white horse leading the offensive. He attends Scandinavian something Forum.
As Ukraine has anything to do with Scandinavia. Except that he screwed Finland and Sweden to join NATO. They still have to sober up a bit on that and will regret this decision very soon. Then he prolongs the stay in Finland.
And he was supposed to go to Berlin tomorrow, but that is still undecided. Because of reasons.
Then there is this UK River Joint AWACS going on wild, head on to Crimea losing transponder signal at around 100 miles from the Crimean coast, which is way to close and deep into forbidden area.
I have been watching this live.
Added to that there were several AWACS at the same time along the Romanian coast namely Polish Border Guard, Italian, Dutch AWACS and a few stratotankers popping on and off above Romania.
So proper invasion ISR force out there.
Then there is Baryaktar drone circling around the junction of Greek and Bulgarian borders. And for a brief moment there was no-callsign plane flying near the Slovak border, but pretty deep in Ukraine. Then it was gone.
Now we come to Kremlin attack.
Things like that were expected to happen and were anticipated.
It is good that it happened today instead on 9th of May.
It will make Russians angry enough to commit to any legal and otherwise justification to finish this off hard – but only when they see fit.
Remember, from RF’s perspective, RF is not at war.
I disagree that RF will be or is seen as a weakling here.
Reactively, even more admiration will be raised world-wide to RF’s stoic, cool and calm posture, as they up the ante on more important issues, while entertaining the own masses by issuing retaliatory aggression points.
Somebody wrote here that RF is not behaving as US/UK/NATO destroyers. That is true and that is why such attitude is appreciated.
That is where RF differs and matters.
And we witness many small Ukrainian offensives that were lightning up on this afternoon, and those all appear as a lame attempts to divert attention off those other strange events.
I think the real fun is starting now to speed up a bit, and the weekend is going to be amazing.
Not to mention today’s influx of ‘special needs troll forces’ in the bar.
Also, worth mentioning that so far we are all hypnotized by numbers, skirmishes, and battles instead of overall percentages, tactics, and strategy.
Only to be woken real soon by big red arrows movements.
At least it seems so, as it’s in the air.

Zet @136–
If Russia desired to eliminate the Kiev regime, it would use its non-nuclear forces, which have proven to be quite destructive and accurate enough to do the job without much collateral damage. If Russia were Neocon, the Kremlin attack would be labeled a “Pearl Harbor Moment” followed by waging a war of terror on NATO using its hypersonics. Many would like to see that, so why haven’t there been any postulations that the drone attack was a false flag? As I wrote earlier, such an attack was anticipated by Russia beginning 22 Feb 2022. Was the attack the long-vaunted Spring Offensive?
Furthermore, Russian lawmakers know well Russia’s nuclear doctrine doesn’t allow for the use of nuclear weapons in a case of this sort. And there’ve been no restrictions placed on Russia’s military as to the type of non-nuclear weapons they can employ or on dual-use targets such as the Ukie Rada (That’s an interesting question actually: It an enemy nation’s government a military target since the Chain of Command supposedly starts with the President in this case?).
On the previous thread, I said why Russia considers Ukraine a Terrorist State, and that was prior to the Moscow drone attack. As far as I know, Russia has yet to call the Outlaw US Empire a Terrorist State although it clearly is; although in her briefings, Maria Zakharova’s come very close on many occasions since the Empire is “leading from behind” to avoid such direct connections. IMO, most onlooking nations will shrug their shoulders because Moscow targets Kiev so the opposite must be expected to occur and has. That some Russian’s have knee-jerked reactions isn’t at all unusual. RT’s article on reactions by foreign experts goes thusly:

A Ukrainian drone attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s working residences in the Kremlin has shaken the status quo in the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kiev, a group of experts told RT following the incident. It could also lead to a dangerous escalation possibly involving the use of nuclear weapons, they warned, adding that Russia is bound to retaliate.
Thomas Roeper, a German author and war correspondent currently residing in St. Petersburg, said he was “quite surprised” to hear of the attack, since it clearly violated “an unofficial agreement not to bomb, not to attack places where the leading politicians are.”
“There is no doubt that Russia will have to retaliate,” said Ralph Niemeyer, the head of the German Opposition Group for German Sovereignty and Constitution. “There will be further escalation, even up to the threat of the use of nuclear [weapons], which I think is still possible,” he added.
A Turkish professor of international law and an expert on terrorism, Mesut Hakki Casin, suggested that an escalation may have been the goal of the people who planned the strike. The forces behind the attack might have sought to put the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine “at the center of European warfare” and potentially even provoke Moscow into launching a tactical nuclear strike, he told RT.
“It’s a very unacceptable and a very, very dirty game,” the Turkish analyst warned. Casin also said Kiev may not have been alone in planning and organizing the strike. “This is an organized international attack,” he said.
Ukraine’s Western backers will not be able to ignore the incident in any case, Niemeyer believes. The German opposition figure still anticipates that the US and its allies will try to downplay the incident and “say it was not the Kiev regime, it was not [President Vladimir] Zelensky’s people,” as they did with the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage.
According to Roeper, the attack could also affect relations between Kiev and Washington if the Ukrainians did not inform their backers about the planned attack in advance.
“Maybe Washington was not informed, and maybe it was. We will see by the reaction. If Washington was not informed, there will be some angry reaction because this is a quite big danger to attack the president of a nuclear power,” the journalist said.

Time will tell what the reaction is if one’s announced.

None of us here are party to the commercial agreements between the likes of Apple and Foxconn so none of us here have any insight as to what currency their transactions are conducted in. There’s nothing in the public domain to say that Apple aren’t converting their dollars to yuan before paying Foxconn. The currency risk would be taken by the bank conducting the conversion, not by the Chinese government or population.

Probably launched within Russia. Probably not that difficult to assemble for someone with technical skills. Also in a NATO/EU city such as Brussels it would not be that difficult to fly such a thing from a short distance into an official building. We should not forget that there must be a number of moles among the Ukrainian refugees in Russia. Looks like a do-it-yourself terrorist attack, more of a pinprick.
Much worse would be terrorist attacks using civilians as a shield as we have seen in Syria for years and years. As we have seen with the Chechen takfiris in Moscow and Beslan in the nineties (a theatre in Moscow, a school in Beslan). Hopefully the city guards and citizen patrols all over Russia are maximum alert to clamp down on small bands wanting to take hostages.

Anyone else happen to catch this bit of nonsense?

BREAKING: Russia may launch missile strikes on Kyiv this night. Two nuclear warheads allegedly at the airfield but not armed on the planes at this time.
Osechkin’s source: “Orders have been sent to the air bases in Engels and Shaykovka to prepare a number of TU-22Ms for flight, missile strikes could be carried out on a number of administrative buildings in Kiev during the night.”
Osechkin: “The source also claimed that for the first time nuclear weapons may be used, at least two ‘items’ are already located directly at one of the aforementioned airfields.
P.S. Details will be provided later. It is important to understand that a long-range aviation source is risking his life, namely the risk of going to prison for life. And this is not a hype or a gimmick, today everything is very serious and it is not known how it will end. We are not talking about a monkey with a grenade, we are all dealing with (or rather confronting) a dictator with nuclear weapons. And if he decides to use nuclear weapons, we hope that the pilots and specialists of the ground services of the Air Force will not carry out this criminal order.”

Closest thing I can find to a source is UK tabloids.

The drone never hit the roof or the flagpole. It exploded by remote control. It was a small, battery operated drone. As a professional drone pilot myself I could see the drone was battery operated. This means it would have had a battery life of about 30 minutes at the most and would have had a maximum speed of about 40mph. The operator could not have been more than 20 miles away therefore.
The visual screen signal from the operator to the drone would have been extremely weak at 20 miles and would probably have been lost. A good clear signal would have to have the operator within about maximum 8 miles.
The drone was therefore operated within the Moscow area, had a small explosiive device attached and was steered by the operator via the screen on his control deviice.

Yep. And as ridiculous as it sounds, the USUK (and likely CA, AU, etc.) press is priming the public for it, which to me says “expect false flag” at any time now. Also keep in mind the stories of the past few days that PRECEDED the alleged Ukrainian attack in Moscow regarding the “advanced nuclear sensors” and “shadowy nuclear groups” being deployed to Ukraine. LOL, you can’t make this shit up.

Indeed, but don’t forget that the UK tabloid ecosystem is just one of the several arms of western media used to prime the public for ever increasing escalations and false flags. Haven’t nations been switching to trading in their own currencies recently ? Cant China demand that the US pay it in Yuan ? Is that really so difficult ?

I’ll ask you the same thing. It’s a two way street, China also buys from the USA, the USA would say pay in dollars. China wants to buy from the USA, they aren’t macro-economically stupid enough to build up a huge trade surplus and beggar their trade partners like Germany does in the EU. Macro is about balance, imbalance is an ailing economy, extremes are ruin, surplus or deficit doesn’t matter. The USA since 1973 has demanded that everyone pays in dollars, how well did that work out, at home and abroad? And anyway bankrupting the USA won’t stop it from sailing off to war, at this point they are well broke already have been for the last 15 years, a 100% obscure war economy is their last hope, China would be doing them a favor.

Because the neocons would respond with nukes. Putin is trying to limit that sort of escalation. The neocons don’t care enough about Stoltenberg enough to go nuclear.

I keep reading this argument but it falls short. Do you know why North Korea is untouchable ? Because it would respond with its Nukes and everything else it has, yet Russia is impotent and not to be feared ? Not buying it.

What difference does it make?
Why is it important? Turn your telescope around and look through the correct eyepiece.

The UK only days ago had a national alarm test by text message.(First time ever)
As it turned out a total failure 25% never got it including me.
Clearly priming the public consciousness for a western perpetrated false flag.

West of England Andy @ 188

The only time the UK tabloids are accurate are when they talk about 36DD bust measurements! And even then, I’d want to check for myself…

What if the measurements are real but the boobs are fake? Do you get to keep the Pulitzer?

” im not seeing a significant difference, here. i’d wager that both Biden and whoever his opponent is in 24 will at some point use “the American People” in a speech. they will also use the word “Americans”, probably more frequently.

Not sure what you mean, but let me make it clearer. Automatically saying ” Jewish people ” at every juncture is a unnatural conditioned sign of deference. Identical to the current trend of capitalizing ” Black people ” but not ” white people “. These are all mind control devices.

>>A Pz 2000 is not similar SPG to a Psion, but pedantics aside, it’s interesting that the comments about cleaning the mud buildup from the vehicles over-engineered running-gear could have been made by German crewmen on the Eastern Front. Will they ever learn?
That, and how many times are the Europeans going to invade Russia without being prepared for the cold weather? So far there was Napoleon’s disaster. This was followed by a British-French effort to take the naval base in the Crimea. Some British troops lost limbs owing to frostbite, and the French had it only a little bit better. And of course Hitler’s misadventure. Having done it three times, do they now know that Russia is seriously cold in the winter?
