If the Russians evacuate Melitopol and Mariupol that is a strategic masterstroke to draw the AFU into a deadly cauldron.

Ze is a religious war, only at the very beginning.
Behind the provocation in Khmelnytsky is the Office of the President, who deliberately sent a provocateur to shoot a beautiful picture for the media and discredit the UOC. There was some gossip about this a couple of days ago.
The goal is to incite hatred for the UOC among the masses. This is a controlled provocation, the bots were immediately ready to stir up aggression against the churchmen in the comments.
This is just the beginning of the religious war. As early as January 2, we insided that it was decided to organize a religious war on Bankovaya in 2023. The rumors turned out to be true.
Ukraine is waiting for even more blood, grief and suffering.

Parents in Avdiivka (under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) hide their babies from the Kyiv regime
Children of Avdiivka are being hidden from forced evacuation to Ukraine. Vitaly Barabash, the head of the city military administration, complained about this. The official is indignant – the residents do not give their children to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and refuse to evacuate deep into Ukraine themselves.
“This is some kind of quest to find children. There were five children, and then three more were found. They hide them so that they are not taken out,” says Barabash.
Kyiv decided to take away children from those parents who live near the front line and are waiting for the Russian fighters to release them. Forced evacuation of minors is an attempt to force adults to follow them. Or in any way to punish those who want to reunite with Russia.
In the city of Slavyansk, which is also temporarily occupied by the Kyiv regime, the authorities generally began to threaten parents and guardians with deprivation of their rights in case of refusal to evacuate.
“Guardians who refuse to leave the Donetsk region will be deprived of their duties, and children will be forcibly evacuated. The guardians and trustees were once again reminded of this during a meeting of the commission on the protection of the rights of the child in Slovyansk,” the administration’s telegram channel says.

‼️🇺🇦🏴‍☠️“They beat up the military APU!” – A violent militant tried to disrupt the service in the temple in Khmelnitsky, but the parishioners quickly neutralized him
In Ukrainian Nazi groups, they play a clip with a cut off beginning, stating that “Moscow priests beat up a VSUshnik.” What actually happened?
The Nazi began to quarrel during the service, he was asked to calm down and leave without disturbing the peace of the holy place, but he continued his hysteria. After that, the parishioners and altar servers (ordinary people helping in the temple) twisted the violent schizoid and took him out of the temple.
The video clearly shows that no one beat this degenerate, and the priests did not touch him at all, as all KhokloSMI lie to their stupid readers.
❗️The police detained a brawler under Article 173 (petty hooliganism). He was shell-shocked in the war, his brain was damaged in the explosion.

The Banderists, who were about to seize the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, demand to burn it, and to put Metropolitan Pavel on his knees and kill him:
“Why can’t they leave here? Yes, because all the active boys are fighting now, you understand, and there is no one to come here and burn this almshouse. That’s all – the only reason why.”
01:32 – “He [the Metropolitan] had to be twisted like a ram, kneeled in the forest, shot in the head and put this video on all Russian media. There should be no talk. No house arrests, no law.
We are not Christians, we are pagans. We are ancient pagans.”

There won’t be complete destruction of life, even humans will likely survive in the southern hemisphere at the very least, but yes, right now, under current policies, nuclear war is where things are headed.
As I outlined in the previous thread, Russia’s choices, if completely surrounded, are:
1) Surrender to nuclear blackmail, and become a vassal of the West. Likely that features balkanization and denuclearization too — the intent has been clearly stated on multiple occasions over the last year (and previously too, though more subtly back then)
2) Have the Perimetr dead hand system on full automatic 24/7 because there will be no time for manual response if missiles are positioned right at the border. That essentially guarantees a full launch eventually even if it is by mistake — on many occasions in the past that was avoided because there was enough time for reaction and evaluation of the situation in cases of false alarms. Well, there will be no such time from now on.
3) Preemptive first strike.
So if you start with a uniform prior, that gives a 65-70% chance of a full-scale nuclear war.
Now imagine what kind of dangerous lunatics are running the West if their plan is to force Russia into facing that choice and betting that Russian elites will inevitably choose option 1)…

Surprised no one here has remarked on the situation In Bakhmut.
According to Weeb Union update the Wagnerians took advantage of the heavy snow cover to launch massive attacks inside the city and have made significant gains.
Described as the heaviest fighting so far.
It may point to a collapse of the AFU but we’ll need some confirmation when the weather clears as drones and satellite pictures are useless.

How is the AFU going to accomplish this, given that there is no vulnerable bridgehead nor lightly-held swath of territory to advance towards?
There’s a limit to how much meat Ukraine can throw into the front-line. And there’s really no way they can win the war short of Russia simply giving up.

Bahkmut was doomed to be reduced the moment AFU failed to successfully counter-attack to secure it’s MSRs. The rest is militarily procedural post-mortem. Avdiivka now also …
Once the AFU is forced to fall back to their last weak & hasty defense line, it’s all over bar the counting, at RFs whim & discretion.

@2 to be sure though russia is at least aware this year no one is afraid of them anymore and if they want to hold or even win, they will have the hold current lines.
We all understand, even russian high command, that if they retreat again there might be a revolution.
And maybe they want that, I’m still holding to my thesis putin is the traitor. He sold out his country for those foreign reserves, and his central banker and military commanders are in on it.
Ukraine was thinking about calling them muscovites not Russians- they are going to be canceled in the woke-est of the new American traditions.
The plan was always to collapse russia, remove the nukes and space program(or get them to nuke themselves) and split up Eurasia right to China western border. Afghanistan apparently wasn’t needed when you come from the north.

I just posted about this on the tail end of the last open thread, so will repost it here.

Weeb reports of recent advances by Wagner in Bakhmut, taking advantage of the change in weather with surprise night attacks, gaining some territory. Apparently a very large snowfall in the area recently, and now it’s going to melt, with rain predicted in the next days. Likely that no large scale advances will be attempted by either side for at least a week, maybe two in that area. The mud has less effect in urban settings, and according to Weeb, Wagner pulled personnel from the two flanks around Bakhmut into the city proper, while regular Russian army replaced the withdrawn Wagnerians. So fighting intensifies in the city, while any Ukie attempt to mass forces and attempt to ‘unblock’ Bakhmut is stalled by mud.
While the front line south of Bakhmut, around Ivonivke has been mostly static for some time, with Ukraine likely sending in forces from Chasiv Yar to shore up their lines there, the large fist north of Bakhmut is a different story. It expanded rapidly in the last few weeks to the southwest, after taking Yahidne, then widened significantly, but the line has stalled recently. This may be to shore up lines before advancing further, as any Ukie counter-offensive would likely focus on this area. Weeb has pointed out that the best situation for the Russians would have been to advance this fist all the way to the canal, taking Bodhanivka and some other towns in the process, giving them a more defensible position, but it looks like that won’t happen soon. At any rate, if Russia can solidify its position in the area it should be able to withstand any Ukie attempts to retake it, and the weather actually works in Russia’s favor, giving them time while Wagner clears out more of Bakhmut.
That’s my assessment anyway, and apologies for the spellings of these towns, I just take my best guess.

According to the case of the UOC, everything happens according to the training manual. First, there is a controlled provocation, where the masses are shown only what they need, and not the whole situation. And then radicals are rounded up impudently and a case of intimidation begins.
The religious war in Ukraine is in its infancy. There will be more to come. We painted this case in January. There was already information that churchmen were threatened with bombings, murders, arrests, and so on. We were among the first to insider that Zelensky would destroy the UOC by any means.
The question is when the conditional “Jewish pogroms” will begin, as during the Great Patriotic War. It has long been clear that Zelensky’s task is not the prosperity and unity of Ukraine (he could have fulfilled the Minsk agreements and there would have been no war, and the country would have taken a different path), but on the contrary, he is making a large-scale multi-level tragedy in history that “sponsors” can use in the future.
More and more evidence appears that Ukraine is waiting for the Yugoslav scenario, and everything has long been in the subject and in share, only the people are not told this.

The above could be a game changer countries that want ally with Russia but are afraid of what Nato might do to them could be reassured that Russia will intervene on their behalf if they are attacked, the likes of Saudi Arabia could benefit from this, and the axis of influence in the Middle East could greatly change from American to Russian, and possibly Chinese.

The humans that survive will get eaten by the starving rats and roaches who will then perish themselves since they can’t live without us. Doom loop of existence.
I might have mentioned before, first vertebrate was 500 million years ago, earth has a solid two billion years to go before it starts to go red giant, but that itself will take an other 3 billion years. Whole evolutionary shindig from from first vertebrate to human can be repeated 4-9 times, no problemo. If that doesn’t cheer you up I don’t know what will.

For those that are suffering from the delusion, or are paid to spout shit about Ukraine winning the war.
“There is a very little chance that the Ukranian forces will succeed in the military objectives they have set for themselves, a top US general has stated.
Ukraine’s stated military objective, which is to push all the Russian troops out of Ukraine, is not likely to be achieved this year, General Mark Milley, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in an interview on Friday.”
Milley’s comments came after Kiev announced that it is preparing for a major spring offensive against Russian troops; however, it does not have enough weapons to carry it out.

Well, there will be no such time from now on.
Historically, Perimetr never was a “fully automatic” system. There was/is always a launch crew that must first receive an alert order from the National Command Authority in the event that a nuclear strike is imminent. The order will contain a specific time frame as to when the strike is likely to occur. The Perimetr launch crew is connected to the National Command Authority by a number of independent communication systems: radio, satellite, land line, fiber optic . . . there are several systems specifically set up to facilitate communication, and according to one of the designers of the system, Colonel Valery Yarynich, who wrote a description of Perimetr in his book, C3: Nuclear Command, Control, Cooperation, see pages 156 through 159.
Yarnich wrote that a command crew, located in a super-hardened radio command and control center, someplace distant from the National Command Authority (NCA), waits to receive a code from the NCA for preliminary authorization to prepare and transmit the launch order to the Emergency Communication Rockets (which will broadcast a launch order to all surviving Russian nuclear forces to launch, an order that requires no human interaction to launch).
The launch order is issued if three conditions are met simultaneously:
(1) the receipt of preliminary authorization from the NCA,
(2) a complete loss of communication with the NCA,
and (3) reception of reliable confirmation of nuclear detonations from different types of sensors (visual, seismic, radiation sensors, etc).
Colonel Yarynich stressed that there could be no launch without the participation of the launch crew. He said that he had argued against a complete automation of the system (when it was in the design phase) for what seemed to him to be obvious reasons — any mistake could cause the obliteration of most people and large animal life on the planet. (Some life will survive a nuclear holocuast, but most likely the less complex forms and not those on top of the food chains.)
I worked with Colonel Yarynich before he passed away and he told me that there were some issues with the various sensors in terms of reliability. But my conversations with him were about 10-11 years ago, and things change over time.
There was one article that inferred that a computer has replaced the launch crew. It was published in RT on Nov 6, 2022 (I will attempt to include the link but will omit if the URL causes the post to be scrubbed), entitled Dead Hand’s nuclear revenge: What would happen if the West launched an attack on Russia?
The article ended with these two paragraphs:
According to Pyotr Kazulsky, a former researcher at the Research Center for Applied Informatics, today the Perimeter system has been updated and the new control center is equipped with a neural network. There is no confirmation of this. There are no other sources who would talk about it, so the ‘singularity’ upgrade remains a rumor – and will probably stay this way, since all information about the system (and its analogue) is classified. Bruce Blair has also repeatedly claimed that the system is constantly being updated.
In December 2011, the commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Lieutenant General Sergei Karakaev, stated that the Perimeter system exists to this day and is on alert.

The absurdity of the ICC, and its ludicrous arrest warrant for Putin is only compounded by the knowledge that Russia has taken over the presidency of the UN Security Council. The ICC has no real credibility if it did Bush and Blair would be in prison by now.
“Russia has assumed the presidency of the United Nations Security Council in April, despite Ukraine calling on member states to block the move.
Presidency of the Security Council rotates alphabetically among its 15 member nations and Russia assumed the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council on Saturday for a month.
The powerful body is controlled by its five permanent veto members, namely, the United States, China, France, Russia, and the United Kingdom — collectively known as the P5.”

Well… since Kiev is safer than Moscow, this event, like all previous events starting with that woman killed near Moscow last year, is simply a very logical consequence of retardness in Russia’s military leadership and its junk secret services.

Posted by: rk | Apr 2 2023 16:27 utc | 35

I should have mentioned that the criteria for launch in the Perimetr system also includes the requirement that the complete loss of communication with the NCA must occur during the specified time that the attack is expected to occur. In other words, this is not an open-ended authorization, it has to meet specific time parameters.
The theory is that by providing this system, the Russian NCA is less likely to order a “retaliatory strike” that turns out be based on a false warning of attack, making the “retaliatory strike” a “first-strike”. But the existence of Perimetr also creates the possibility of the accidental or deliberate (unauthorized) launch of the Emergency Communication Rockets, which would launch all of Russia’s nuclear forces.

$31.7 billion dollars thrown away in Ukraine, if I were an American taxpayer I’d be furious with Biden and his administration, I’ve read that US infrastructure bridges, roads etc aren’t in great shape, this money could’ve been invested in that instead of being thrown away in a far off land to appease the US industrial military complex.
The same can be said for those European nations that have squandered millions or billions supplying Neo-Nazi leaning corrupt regime of Ukraine, the money should’ve been spent on your people and infrastructure
“The US will announce a new $2.6 billion military aid package as soon as Monday for Ukraine, which could include tank munitions, air surveillance radars, anti-tank rockets and fuel trucks, reports say.
The final list of the latest batch of the military aid is yet to be finalized over the weekend, Reuters cited three US officials as saying. The dollar amount of the package or the specifics of the equipment could also see changes.
The list is being jotted down for the inclusion of precision aerial munitions, which Ukraine would use to assault Russian positions, recovery vehicles to help disabled heavy equipment like tanks and additional rounds for NASAMS air defenses that the US and allies have given to Kiev.
If broken down, the upcoming package comprises a whopping $2.1 billion in weapons aid provided by the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) funding, which enables the Joe Biden administration to purchase the arms directly from the industry rather than from the US weapons inventory.
The remainder $500 million is expected to come from Presidential Drawdown Authority funds, which permits the president to withdraw from current US stocks in an emergency.
So far, the Biden administration has committed more than $31.7 billion in “security” assistance since the start of the 2022 conflict.
According to TASS calculations in January, Ukraine has received Western military aid of around $48.5 billion since the start of the war, which is practically equal to Russia’s 2022 defense budget.
The overall aid, received by the Kiev government from Western countries and international organizations since the start of the war, is estimated at more than $150.8 billion in Ukraine, the report said. ”

@ Shadowbanned
Your other “options” post from yesterday made more sense. This “option” of today is flawed.
1) Russia will never be “totally” surrounded.
2) Russian “Elites” have been pushed over for over-the-top, diehard, ashes-to-ashes, will-take-you-with-us, “comrades”.
3) The Russian “Elites” have had their money, assets & clout taken. There’s nothing left in Russia except hard core, “get off my porch,” Russians.
4) No, humanity is not “doomed” by a nuclear war. There will be survivors.
I did like your analysis . You also read PRC article regarding the Kremlins perceptions. Russia may be defeated, I get that, but I think that it would end up a MAD sort of scenario, and the benefactors would end up being China, India & Turkey… but yes, the world would go on.

Attacks on churches and arrests of priests are by direct order of Kiev regime and carried by Ukrainian police and security services. And who’s that girl who gave Vladlen a stuffed figurine RTBD.

❗️ Vladlen Tatarsky was killed in a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg. Original msg
⚡️ An improvised explosive device that went off in a St. Petersburg cafe was carried there by a girl. This is reported by several media at once.
She hid the IED in a figurine, which she presented to military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, who died as a result of the terrorist attack.

I do not think “Vladlen Tatarsky” was a military commander, more like a war correspondent. This was his Telegram channel.

Many Russian Telegram channels are now showing this video:

❗️❗️ The moment when Vladlen Tatarsky is presented with a figurine, which, presumably, was stuffed with explosives, is published by REN-TV, a few minutes later an explosion thundered. ⭐️

You’ll need to cope after the nazi offensive approaches Melitopol or Soledar and Russia evacuates swathes of territory to “save soldiers’ lives”. Biswapriya Purkayast | Apr 2 2023 13:36 utc | 2
First check out the massive effort being put in by Russia to rebuild its nazi ravaged towns and cities, such as Mariopol. Whilst the SMO grinds on, teams of builders & other tradespeople are at work (at express speed) re-housing those innocent victims of 8 years of Western sponsored fascist aggression and NATO directed urban olbliteration. Russia, one senses, has finally taken ownership and responsibility for its citizens & re-rehabilitated its initially lacklustre military – these gains will not be so meekly surrendered.
Scott Ritter just stated that he gives Nuclear War with a complete destruction of life on earth a 70% chance. Turk 152 | Apr 2 2023 14:47 utc | 12
Mr Ritter needs to unplug ALL his devices, stop doing interviews and take a month’s compulsory fishing leave in some area of the USA that’s miles from a potential N-blast site & doesn’t have dodgy railway lines. Otherwise there is more likely a 70% chance he is going to crack up, or keel over with a heart attack. He’s been visibly wobbling recently, poor soul.
Besides, if he IS right (and my that’s a BIG ‘if’) such an apocalyptic turn of events might well happen while he on his log cabin vacation – thus giving him a racing chance of missing the main event and in turn hooking up with local woodland & mountain critters. This way Mr Ritter could live out his remaining days as a wilderness survivalist type, you know, chatting to ‘Yogi’, ‘Boo Boo’, ‘Snagglepuss’ et al rather than being pestered several times a day by retired Judges and ‘expert’ vloggers.
Either way, it would certainly be such a pity for Mr Ritter to let his Marine Corps training go up in a puff o’ smoke when such rudimentary survival skills could become the foundation of a less stressful, simpler life.

Sputnik: Russian War Correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky Killed in Blast at St. Petersburg Cafe
.Tatarksy joined the Donbass People’s Militia in the wake of the Maidan coup and attempts by the new authorities in Kiev to crush independence-seeking forces in Donetsk and Lugansk by force. He served in the DPR’s Vityaz Regiment, in the reconnaissance company of the LPR’s Fourth Brigade, and in the DPR’s Vostok Battalion. He left the military in 2019, settling in Moscow. He returned to the Donbass in February 2022 after Russia began its special military operation, making a series of reports from the front. Before the conflict began in 2014, Tatarsky worked for several years as a coal miner, eventually going into business as a furniture salesman. He got into trouble with the law after getting into debt with the bank, and a 2011 bank robbery landed him in prison. He escaped from jail and joined the militias in the late summer of 2014, receiving a pardon from the late DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko. He later published a series of books, including ‘Running’, an autobiography.

It’s not unheard of with targeted assassinations for the authorities to declare the presumed target dead so as to prevent secondary attempts. Not that I encourage people to get their hopes up, but for what it’s worth. Fomin hasn’t been in the field for a bit, instead providing commentary and analysis together with Rybar on Soloviev, but he clearly wasn’t averse to danger and I doubt he had any fear of death. The targeting of journalists, which is what this attack in St Petersburg was, is really tragic and just shows that Ukraine cannot win on the battlefield. So they resort to tactics of Al Qaeda on their enemies.
Makes me wonder if such a thing happens in Russia, why not back here in the West. Would any pro-Ukrainian government even bother to prosecute a similar attack on one of their own citizens? We know Ritter and probably MacGregor are on kill lists. Given how rotten the DoJ and FBI are, they might want to hire private security.

Biden‘s attempts to consolidate a ‘democratic’ alliance are part of the escalating US-led New Cold War. Labelling socialist and anti-imperialist states as ‘authoritarian’, the US ruling elite seeks to consolidate a military, economic and political bloc on the basis of its own narrow interests, and to build popular support for its rising hostility towards China, Russia, Iran, Cuba, the DPRK, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Syria, Eritrea, Zimbabwe and other countries in the crosshairs of imperialism.
Held to coincide with Biden‘s Summit for Democracy 2023, this counter-summit will: expose the hegemonic reality behind the US’s talk of a ‘rules-based world order’; explore alternative models of democracy; denounce US-led attempts at ‘decoupling’ and incitement of division; promote an emerging multipolar, multilateral model of international relations; and call for global cooperation to solve the vast problems collectively faced by humanity.

So today I did a little work, helping out at this artsy off gallery my neighbour is running in Hamburg, Germany – serving beers and actually cooking a hearty meal – when a young woman from Ukraine showed up. She barely whispered her name, Maria, and place of origin (Zhytomir), and that she had an appointment with my colleague/boss, with whom I’ve been in constant and at times explosive disagreement about the war. So when he came in moments later, just to make a point, I stood up, turned to Maria, and said “I am very sorry for what NATO did to your country!” From this point, he could have gone fully nuclear on me, but what happened instead is that he attentatively helped me out in my work for the rest of the day. Maria, meanwhile, got so sad that it transferred telepathically, heartbrakingly. We hugged before she left.
What this episode shows, I think, is two things. Firstly, it is possible, after all, to hold ground in a propaganda-saturated environment. How so? As Schopenhauer said, the first rule of debating is to wisely choose whom you debate. This translates roughly into my advice to (temporarily) break contact if you’re engaging a person who has psychological issues behind their arguments; and beware! For these are many.
Secondly, I believe that Maria’s sadness is actually a healthy reaction. She has to cope with what happened, after all, and her feelings came to light because she was understood; even if only in her confusion because of what happened to her, in all likelihood going over her head quite a bit. If this is true, we can see that a girl from Zhytomir who decided to escape to Germany understands well that it all was not a case of the evil russians bombing her house to the ground for no real reason, hence we could assume that the Ukrainians mostly do.
It all just clicks together, if you manage to speak truthfully and have a modicum of diplomatic sense, almost(?) as if the idea just jumps across telepathically. What you will need, however, is a minimally open minded person to speak to.

“The bridges are still not bombed, proving that Putin had no intention, zero intention, of winning this war.”
Well, they have already won. Russia wants Ukraine and NATO to bring all their men and all their equipment, so that they can destroy them on their doorstep. Why should they overstretch their supply lines? They’ll sit and wait until the last Ukrainian soldier is destroyed and then they’ll go. And when they reach Kiew, they will find Selenskyj already hanging from a lamp post. This war is not about demilitarizing Ukraine anymore, it’s about destroying NATO and destroying the EU.

Must see Interview (German)
The Multipolar World – New Roles, New Conflicts
Richard David Precht in conversation with Pankaj Mishra (German Video)
The world order dominated by the West is changing into a multipolar world – with new actors. Richard David Precht and best-selling author Pankaj Mishra talk about this.
This new distribution of roles can be seen, for example, in the positioning of China, India and others vis-à-vis the Russian war in Ukraine. How stable can a new, multipolar world order be? And how should Germany position itself?
Reflecting on our own history and culture
Our decade is marked by economic and geostrategic power shifts. With China and India, new centres of power are emerging. The dualism between West and East has become a much more complex, multipolar world order. Will this transition be peaceful or must we expect wars and trade wars? How stable will this new world be? And could Germany even take on a role model in this change of constellations, as suggested by Richard Precht’s guest, the Indian writer and essayist Pankaj Mishra.
As a white man in Africa or Asia, you were lord and master of everything that was under your control. That era is over.
Pankaj Mishra
Be it the climate crisis, Corona or action on the Ukraine war, the global South is increasingly refusing to give consent to Europe and the US. While we here in the predominantly democratic West still consider ourselves the navel of the world, the countries of Asia in particular are developing a new self-confidence. Western values such as democracy, freedom or sustainability are not necessarily among their priorities. After centuries of European value dominance, today they want to make economic progress and reflect on their own history and culture.
Germany as a possible mediator
According to Mishra, these changes have not yet reached the consciousness of the West. Europe still sleepwalkingly clings to its allegiance to the USA instead of meeting the global South at eye level. According to Mishra, Germany should oppose the dramatic decline of Western dominance and position itself as a mediator. With its exemplary reappraisal of the Third Reich and the citizen-oriented success model of the social market economy, Germany is ideally suited to act as a trustworthy mediator.
Germany could make a virtue of its own experience and see and present itself as an independent, sovereign nation with a special history. Germany could present its special historical and economic development not as something shaped by National Socialism, but as the result of such a successful welfare state, through a state that responds to the concerns of its citizens and takes them seriously.
Pankaj Mishra
But is it really advisable for Germany to go it alone? According to Mishra, the old Europe will have to learn to rethink. While we in this country may be so convinced of our moral values, which we have been able to develop thanks to our prosperity, we underestimate the growing need of the rest of the world to no longer be patronised by the West.
Pankaj Mishra
Pankaj Mishra is an Indian writer and literary critic. He was born in 1969 in Jhansi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and lived for a long time in a small town on the Himalayas.
Mishra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Arts in English Literature.

Ritter’s opinion about inevitability of Nuclear conflict is viable I think….the missing trillions from the defence budgets all over the world are funneled into massive deep underground military bases where the parasite elite expect to weather the coming storm they are initiating….the TeT offensive in Vietnam destroyed the fighting capabilities of the communist military and political wings of South Vietnam….the war from that moment was taken over by Hanoi…with the depopulation of Ukraine and destruction of it as a viable State…the Western puppet State becomes even more dependent and controllable…who knows…there may be massive immigration back to the Khazarian homeland from Israel and Patagonia… NATO has massive forces covertly built up in Poland Latvia and Romania….they are positioning ground support squadrons at this moment….I don’t see a lot of air superiority assets moving so I suspect that once Russian forces move west and in particular towards Odessa NATO will pour East hoping to salvage a Chunk …hoping to occupy Western Ukraine without fighting for it…for later further destabilization operations against Russia’s Western border and more money laundering for the politicians…there will be concurrent operations elsewhere…I had suspected Chinese troops would pour into Siberia….Russia maintains a massive blocking force in the East still. As far as the poor sucks not deep underground when these death cult adherent’s successfully push Russia to an all out nuclear attack to fulfill their sacred writings….it won’t be as bad as Carl Sagan’s nuclear winter but it will be the death of a majority of the Western world.

Haven’t been around much lately. Watching this daily gets repetitive.
Happy I checked in today, the Doomers and other incels are predictably loud and proud right now. The most dangerous men have always been Gamma males. Smart civilizations bullied them out of relevance.
The trajectory of the SMO has not changed from a month ago, or 3 months ago, or 6 months ago. Russia, despite the assassinations, the terrorism, the “Rules based order” public relations stunts, is still proceeding towards a victory.
I’d argue that if the SMO ended Monday AM, Russia was fantastically successful already. They showed the world how weak NATO is, tested many of their advanced platforms, galvanized domestic support, reinforced the Russian economy, got valuable experience for their troops, and re-assured allies that they are a substantial force to be reckoned with, the only counter-balance to the Anglo-Americans.
The best part is that the West has managed to destroy their own infrastructure and destroy their manufacturing base even further. Forget what happens militarily, getting the West to own-goal their own economies is an amazing victory on its own.

If our host has been cooped with an offer he cannot refuse (literally… refusal is not an available option) then what kind of articles will he post here from this point forward? Doom-casting bullshit like what the NAFO (North American Fatties Organization?) trolls post? Regular readers would spot that at once.
I must admit that I was suspicious when our host started admonishing us against attacking the trolls. I wondered if folks from the US State Department and the CIA (but I repeat myself) had complained to him about MoA being a hostile work environment for their staff.

There´s a real joker writing in the Daily Telegraph.
Richard Kemp writes “Russia will never recover from this devastating collapse” which just about shows how remote is the planet that the DT now reports from.
Kemp adds that the Chinese claim Outer Manchuria, including Vladivostok.
No wonder the British are brainwashed with lunacy like this posted as front page lead articles.

the west will strike with nukes first, whether as a false flag or otherwise. they are on the ropes, not russia. they have admitted to wanting to use “tactical” nukes. putin is sane. the west, not so much.

@ B.B. Finlayisan
At the moment, it appears that Scott Ritter’s “70%” of possible nuclear escalation, seems generous to me. Agreed Scott needs an “unplugged “ break, but it doesn’t mean he’s in error. There are many of us that have not seen ANY EVIDENCE that “peace” or even a “ceasefire” is in the making. Only escalation. IF Ukraine really follows thru with the massive campaign ( I’m not one of those that believes Ukraine has no weapons, or munitions etc etc), then I think it will be massive. Massive drones, massive planes out of Poland & Romania, massive troops, ISIL type mercs from everywhere. USA has 800+ bases… does anyone believe the smut about equipment etc??
Of course they’ll all be outfitted in Ukraine uniforms, but that would certainly escalate things.
Currently it appears both sides are getting comfortable with a long attrition. At least from a Military standpoint. But the Military isn’t making the call.
I’m just saying, as I think Scott’s implying, there could be miscalculations, or rogues mucking around. I think all of this is making Zelenskyy nervous, he knows what his UK/NATO planners are up to, including in the Black Sea. All this “ we don’t have this, we don’t have that”… that’s just money grifting… the West will make their move by summer, or walk away & go back to bombing Syria again.

It reads like Chicken Little is your speechwriter. B owes us nothing. If you like the content, great. If you don’t like the content, great. Start your own blog if you can do it better. It’s declasse to impugn the man’s character while enjoying the space and opportunity he provides you.

@persiflo 70
lucky you
my experiece is of more confrontational nature.
either people think I am crazy.
Or not.
However if there is something of a decent/profound friendship to relate, that is: one knows each other on fundamental terms from times “before the war” (it´s WWII tales all over again), then discussion is probably possible.
Online discourse is an entirely different matter.
Differentiation is impossibly difficult.
So better only argue in person.
Everything else – quel desastre.
p.s. shows how skilled letter-writers the ancient people once were – in a time where neither phone nor computer would do.
Only the words you chose carefully to convey your most inner thoughts!

a lot of discussions get derailed by arguments with trolls, and the way I remember it b says “Don’t attack other commentators”; i think he means attack their arguments, not the people themselves. Caitlin Johnstone shut down discussion (as far as I can tell) on her main site, I think due to trolls though I haven’t see any announcement by her. Time will tell, the US routinely shuts down and co-opts critical media, and so do their lackeys in western countries. so I don’t rule out their targeting b as an especially effective critical voice.

I apologize. That post was posted to the wrong thread. There is some oblique discussion in the week-in-review thread about the possibility that our host is being “leaned on” by some heavy state actors. I was responding to that speculation, and if it is so then our host’s character is irrelevant. If what is being discussed is really happening then our host will not be given a choice.
Gangster control of the narrative isn’t something that only happens elsewhere (outside the “garden” of delusions?) or in the past, you know.
Personally, I think our host is as brave as he is wise with strength of character rivaling that of Assange, but the Empire’s thugs don’t care about that.

@Steven Starr 33
Thank You!
p.s. what I am “afraid of” – what about US low yield, pinpoint missiles taking out most of those 200 ICBM silos potentially without any civil casualties and with only minimal fallout, as if it were a conventional attack?
What is the threshold for the term nuclear today?
Because as is, M.A.D. – to a certain extent – is no more / not coercive
And with that old-style deterrence logic-counterlogic is obsolete too.
What if disarming is in fact only that – dis-arming?
Do they figure Russians won´t strike back unless they have similair “laser-bomb”-ish WMDs?
Because counterforce vs. countervalue can not be and therefore won´t be?

Ukrainian army is full relying on western weapons (not USSR origin weapons). There are a lot less western weapons available.
One of the most important aspects is to identify build-ups and dispositions. Both sides use covers to hide their forces. I saw a video of Ukro AFVs in a tunnel. They hide the stuff in garages and warehouses, of which one was hit near Zaporizhe recently.
If Russia MOD statements are anywhere near true, the Ukrainians must be running out of USSR AFVs too, like BTR and BMPs. That means they need to divert the new western AFVs and other stuff to those fronts to replace losses, everything reducing from the Melitopol and Mariupol offensive. We are also starting to see more and more M-777 destroyed instead of D-20, D-30 etc. meaning they are relying more on western artillery, too.
With Ukrainian and Warsaw pact stuff cleared out of the way, Russian firepower is now more and soon, solely concentrated against Nato.

Are you all sure that is William Gruff?

Posted by: Perimetr | Apr 2 2023 20:11 utc | 94

Hmm-
Saw the substack article on Starlink, et el, for C4 ISR – Delta – Etc., being used by NATO/US for targeting in Ukraine.
Buried within this article is a datum:
https://starlinkinsider.com/starlink-gateway-locations/
Not 100% sure of the date, but it says the only working Starlink Gateway (ground based) which could cover Ukraine is in Wola Krobowska, Poland.
=====
Nice Starlink Gateway you have there Mr. Polish People. Hate to have something happen, what with it being used to kill Russians and all.

Perimetr @95: “Are you all sure that is William Gruff?”
In this case, it really is me. Trolls have tried to flatter me by using my name, though not as much as they have with other posters such as Jen, but I like to think my excessive wordiness and general lack of concern for other’s feelings helps readers spot the definite article… “THE” William Gruff, as it were.

LoveDonbass, why are you attacking Mr. Gruff? It was the Deplorable Commissar who started this line of discussion. in fact, Mr. Gruff (as I did on three occasions) was responding to Mr. (Truly) Deplorable who accused B of skipping out on MoA. I cannot speak for Mr. Gruff, but I think Mr. Deplorable is truly deplorable, and I told him so.

Paco @81–
… there is only one way to stop it, the disappearance of the terrorist regime.
And we’re not talking about Ukraine. The #1 Terrorist Regime is the Outlaw US Empire, and peace on our planet will not be 100% possible until it’s Elite is crushed. Establishing that peace is the stated goal of Russia and China, and most of the world is rallying to their/our cause. The remaining problem is the ease with which some people get seduced by the Empire to perform its evil deeds. I don’t want to get trapped into the Manichean Box, but it’s difficult to describe the contending forces in other ways, although it’s clear that greed drives the evil deeds.
On a related note, in their most recent Geopolitical Economy Hour, Hudson towards the show’s end finally comes to the conclusion that we’re back to 1914 just after the Fed was born to which Desai agreed. IMO, there’s greater meaning to that than just the banking aspect and that’s the moral aspect as exemplified by the Wilson admin’s behavior, the “Red Scare Terror” specifically.
