Soon nobody will be talking about the International Space Station,
The attention of the world will be fixed on the International Lunar Research Station
Its a move of pure genius by China

Your competence in comprehending, contextualizing, articulating and explaining are impressive, well balanced and delightful. I always enjoy your postings. 🙂

Just as it has in the “Five Eyes” countries, the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

I am so looking forward to the public performance of “the singing of cooperation agreements”.

I added https://sitrepworld.info to my “Usually Recommended News Sources” document, together with a link to their predecessor site, “One Democratic World” while noting that they are useful, but that they should not be regarded as consistently authoritative or sound by adding the “Secondary verification required”.
Prior to CoViD I would not post sites that now carry this tag at all, but so many otherwise useful sites fell into the “antivax” trap that I took to retaining and adding sites that were medically unsound with this caveat, “Secondary verification required”. So far, out of the 230,000 who have accessed the document (and clones for which I can’t count readers), nobody has complained about it.

As I said in letters to Senators at the time, the ISS decision was not just a stupid mistake, and a direct and uncalled for 8msult to China, but active self-harm by the US .because it would result in a smart, technically competent nation, with more resources than the US, to pursue its own research, leapfrogging off the back of the USA, and predicting that this would result in the US falling behind China and Russia in research, exploration and exploitation of space. As we now see, my prediction is conclusively and spectacularly confirmed.
I repeated that warning when the US blocked the sale of high end processors to China in an attempt to block China’s developing competence in supercomputers, fusion research, nano-objects and nano-materials, AI, earth sensing and robotics.
Our most recent Russophobic and Sinophobic actions across a broad range of disciplines and technologies are guaranteed to ensure that the US influence collapses, and the ability of the US to compete in these fields, let alone dominate them, is destroyed. This time I have not bothered to write, not only does the role of Cassandra hold no appeal for me, but the more the US self-inflicts harm upon itself, the fewer resources will be available to it, and the less likely it is to destroy the planet attempting to regain preeminence.

Like any nonsense (whether natural, like stars, planets, thrown sticks or flocks of birds, or man made, like “scriptures” or “tarot”) used as a noise source for “divination”, all that they do is provide a path for the mind to filter. All “divination” achieves is to characterize the filters employed by the “practitioner”, ultimately communicating effectively about the “practitioner” and occasionally what the practitioner imagines about the subject.

The US has never been a “democracy”, although the oligarchs have pretended to it, and not particularly christian until the oligarchs teamed up with the fundamentalists in the 1930s and after to oppose socialism and communism. See Kruse, Kevin M. (2015-04). One Nation Under God: How Corporate America Invented Christian America. Basic Books. (Academic review at Princeton)
