From the looks of things you might well be Hasbarfa or $ayanim…or you could simply be posting from Mama’s basement. Are you currently high on something that is not green and organic?
A short message should be crystal clear. Yours is not, with the evident example of a lust for lucre. (you may need to look up that word in a dictionary, real or on-line)….Some old Jew, back in one of those two ancient books had something to say about the “lust for money”. Seems like he was spot on.

Not quite true. True with regards to timing, but not with regards to relevance. There is a high correlation between Certain Surnames and Jews , but as you say it is certainly not definitive. Ie a Jewish – sounding surname is not always sported by a Jew.
As for the handwringing – types amongst us. Yes, truthful or untruthful posts about Jews -that are not all approving -are quickly called “antisemitic “ by the former handwringers. This is not always deserved. The sad thing is they are also called out by types who wish to stop discussion or people’s eyes being opened.
Jack no 1.
You have put up the same post .Try to mix it up a bit ; with more thorough research and put it in the “non-ukraine” section. Otherwise, B will have good reason to remove your post .

As we all are spirits living a material, 3rd Dimension lifetime, I seem to be a bit lacking of an existential fear. Thus, though I despise the Mo$$ad (“By Deception, you shall make war”…from Deuteronomy or some similar goddamn text,) that evil entity frames their motto.
There are many evil entities out there. Their greatest power is the imposition of fear. Some famous old Jew informed us with a couple simple words: “Fear Not”.

Post number one is hilarious, but kind of distracting. The post is almost entirely backwards. Those are mostly Germanic names. After the fall of the Kazarian Empire, Jewish refugees took on the names of those commonly found in the host countries. As right-wing nuts often do, this is mistaking the cause for the effect.
It is also obviously a massively successful troll job!!!

” The BRICS+ space quickens. Note the bit about using local currencies between Russia and Egypt.
That struck me as a back slap to the US as the vote took place within hours of Blinken’s departure from Cairo.
Likely Blinken visited to request Egypt’s Soviet era materiel for UKR and that the request was denied.

Egypt is the second biggest recipient of US money behind Israhell. The moment it joins BRICS about 2 billion dollars per year disappears instantly. This would cause massive instability and the probable downfall of US lap dog Sissi. More likely, this is just ZioAmerica trying to get its foot inside that organization. Whats next, Canada joining ? Maybe Israhell ? Japan ? Great Britain ? How about Gold man Sachs and Black rock ?

Likklemore @101
Thanks for the news on Egypt and BRICS. That this took place when Sisi addressed their parliament immediately following the house-call by the Talmudist Supremicist, Winkin, Blinken and stinken, is both apt and to the point.
Message delivered.
Decades of bribery paid for by the American taxpayer, have not succeeded in keeping Egypt within the grasp of the Bank$ters and their minions in high places.
A knight has been added to the geopolitical chessboard. Brics are falling upon the dreams and schemes of highest finance capitalist imperialism. The Islamic world is veering away from its prior effectual neutrality. Much of the Muslim leadership have been educated at the world’s oldest university in Cairo. There are many lingering ties. The next domino to stand up could be Indonesia, with the world’s largest Muslim majority population.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I was aware of that action. It’s one of the many components of the project I mentioned @110. There’re a great many similar actions akin to Egypt’s that’re currently ongoing and providing color to the Big Picture. Occasionally a black smudge appears like the one related to Marcos rechaining Philippines to the Outlaw US Empire, which IMO will soon cause his political demise. The few RoW PM and President pawns the Empire controls differ little from Bolsonaro–stay in power long enough to gain that rest-of-life Florida getaway.

That computer professionals think it is a virus is why you have to make it simple. And make it work

The anti-Semitic posts on this site need to stop immediately as they are vile and corrosive. Just because official Red Cross records from right after the war show a rise in the Jewish world wide population, doesnt mean they’re true. Obviously the Red Cross was infiltrated by Nazi sympathizers with the help of the Vatican.

No dear James, I do not defend unlimited freedom of speech. What I do defend is the ability to put up a post with information that can be viewed and corrected or tested.
Many here have gone up and lambasted Jack’s post as being foolish or the work of an intelligence operative. I cant day if it is the latter. It may well be. I can say it is an unfinished work and that jack may be an overzealous believer in “ Jews are behind it all “. Remains to be seen.
What I can say is that noone here other than myself has discussed it methodically ,comprehensively or in full good – faith.
The fact is that much of what he writes is in fact true , and noone apart from me has called out the truths amongst it. So that means that most commenters against him are either histrionic, not very well -informed or worse, know he is telling many truths or has validity and they don’t like it being known. The tenor of his post is that many important people were either Jewish or had Jewish antecedents. That claim is either true or not. Testable.
So James, let those who know more than you keep telling the truth. If you or anyone else here can rebut his argument then step up and do so. Otherwise pipe down. All the above assumes you and other naysayers are not saboteurs purposefully trying to get b in trouble . If you are , then then you saboteur/intelligence-types can fock off and have God pile hot coals upon your heads.
Also James, I am watching you. You seem overly concerned with anyone talking about Jews here, even when not in a derogatory fashion. Could you be Jewish and sensitive to any such talk or focus , even if it pans out to be true? Hmm? Not a good model of an objective reasoning poster ,are you ?

An interesting Q&A on Ukraine in Canadian mainstream media, CTV.
https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/q-a-with-a-russian-warfare-expert-this-is-not-a-proxy-war-with-the-u-s-1.6257567
The expert providing answers is senior consulting fellow of the Russian and Eurasia Programme at Chatham House, an independent policy institute in London, U.K., author and Russian warfare expert Keir Giles. He gave a few statements that differ a little. [My two cents on Canadian propaganda, if you will, for domestic audiences: It tends to include British experts to highlight manoeuvring from more powerful countries. It has a distancing effect for Canadians, in contrast to the kind of propaganda that sucks you in, makes you feel personally involved, which may be considered, somewhat derisively, American.]
“Russia today isn’t a product of President Putin, it’s the other way around. President Putin is just putting into action all of the assumptions that have widely held within Russia about what Russia should be.” [Wait, wait, let me pause a moment on this… it’s not all about Putin??]
“The campaign of deterrence by Russia has been so effective that the U.S. has been very restrained.”
“Q: How real is the nuclear threat?
Giles: It’s not.”

I suppose it is entirely possible Anglo countries would allow Telegram to function at some level but screw around with it. If that were happening the parent company should say so.
I will note all the ‘information’ from Telegram is the same happy talking sales pitch passive voice crap that comes from Silicon Valley. They pretty much copy the Apple style. If I were Russian I would doubt the loyalty of any who worked so hard to ape American computer-speak.

Dear deplorable Comrade.
Apparently, you are suggesting the BRICS member countries are so poor without a USD$0.01 in their combined bank accounts.
Sadly, it is quite deplorable you are not well read.
20 September 2006, on the proposal of President of Russia, V. V. Putin, the first BRICS Ministerial Meeting was held – venue was on the sidelines of UN General Assembly. How apt?
Founding members are:
Brazil Russia India China South Africa
now the foundation of the unfolding Multi-Polar World Order.
The five member countries represent 42% of world population and that is before the 22 countries seeking memberships are included.
In 2015 BRICS (New) Development Bank was launched with authorized capital $100 billion. Watch, in time, it will be replacing IMF and World Bank
Fast forward, In 2022 on every well-informed mind the BRICS org is now referred as BRICS+
[Of the 22 applying for Membership: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Uruguay, Iran, Turkey, Morocco, Argentina, Mexico.
BRICS Portal: infobrisc.org
BRICS reserve currency next up..
A helpful read from Egypt: LINK
The vice-president of the Economic Committee of the House of Representatives, Mohamed Abdel-Hamid, affirmed that joining the institution benefits the country.
“We will benefit from the Bank’s financial and technical assistance in areas such as sustainable development, health, infrastructure, transportation, water, and telecommunications,” he said.
The addition of Egypt will also relieve the state budget of the pressure to find dollars to meet imports because members of that bank can use their national currencies in bilateral trade, he said. [.]
Legislator Mervat Mattar, stated that “the BRICS group is an important forum that can divert the course of the international economy from US and dollar dominance.” He also welcomed the Russian central bank’s decision a week ago to add the Egyptian pound to its list of foreign currencies exchangeable for rubles. (emphasis added)
There; in other words, Egypt will no longer need a hand out from Uncle Sam whose IOUs (AKA Bribes, UST Bills and Bonds) are being shunned. And countries’ USD reserves, held in any Custodial entity, can no longer be considered safe from seizure. What does this shunning of U$D means for the average Joe and Jane residing in the once exceptional country? We will soon find out.
Don’t take my posit as BS. The dollar’s death certificate was signed by KSA’s Minister of Finance, January 18, 2023, at Davos, Switzerland. Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of U.S. Treasury, (no doubt you have heard of him) wrote 2 days ago”
Washington’s Power Will Decline with the Dollar

Saudi Arabia’s recent announcement that the government is open to accepting payment for oil in currencies other than the dollar is a major announcement ignored by the presstitutes. The end of the petrodollar would have severe adverse effects on the value of the dollar and on US inflation and interest rates.
For a half century the petrodollar has supported the value of the US dollar and ensured financing for America’s large budget and trade deficits. By billing for oil in dollars, the Saudis guaranteed a worldwide demand for US dollars.
Without this demand for dollars, the constant increase in the US money supply would have eroded the dollar’s exchange value in terms of other currencies. As the US has offshored so much of its production for home use, the US is import-dependent, and the widening trade deficit would have eroded the dollar’s exchange value and resulted in high inflation.[.]

Best wishes.

About your comment about Ramzan Kadyrov and Yevgeny Prigozhin”
neither of whom is on the Russian General Staff…
First – You misspelled Yevgeny Prigozhin
Second – Ramzan Kadyrov is a colonel general. There are only eleven generals who hold a higher rank than Kadyrov in the Russian Army. The highest rank in the Russian military is Field Marshal which is currently vacant.
Given Kadyrov’s relationship with Putin, his viewpoint carries more weight than most of the Russian General staff who are generally more detached from the front lines. Some may be similar to Col Hackworth’s viewpoint of being perfumed princes.

Can’t make this stuff up:
US senators issue NATO ultimatum to Türkiye
RT:

‘Unblock membership for Sweden and Finland or no F-16 jets for you, said 25 lawmakers’
A group of 25 US senators from both parties has informed President Joe Biden that Congress will not approve the sale of F-16 fighters to Türkiye unless Ankara stops blocking Sweden and Finland’s application for NATO membership.
After the US kicked Türkiye out of the F-35 program over Ankara’s purchase of Russian-made S-400 air defense systems, the two NATO members negotiated a deal for 40 new F-16 jets and 79 modernization kits. Congress gets the final approval, however, and the Senate NATO Observer Group on Thursday let Biden know that it will require a quid pro quo to make that happen.

“Congress cannot consider future support for Türkiye, including the sale of F-16 fighter jets, until Türkiye completes ratification of the accession protocols,”
says the letter, signed by Democrats and Republicans alike and made public by Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire.
Ankara is holding up the applications by Stockholm and Helsinki namely the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the senators noted.[.]
In last week’s hearing before the committee, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said the State Department had made it clear to Türkiye that “Congress is likely to look far more favorably on that after ratification,” referring to the F-16s.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told the parliament in Ankara on Wednesday that “there would be a price” to pay if the US reneges on the F-16 deal. Asked to clarify the remarks on Thursday, his spokesman Ibrahim Kalin told CNN International that it was referring to the US military industry.[.] (emphasis added here)

“We have been developing our own national capabilities,” Kalin said. “Our drones have really shown to the world how capable they are in [the] worst moments, in our defense. So we will simply develop our own national capabilities and the US defense companies will be on the losing end in all of this.”
“If the American Congress makes NATO accession process a precondition for the F-16 program, they can wait for a long time, we are not tying the two together,”
he added. [.]

These senators need a lesson in geography and they are going for full rupture.

“Second – Ramzan Kadyrov is a colonel general. There are only eleven generals who hold a higher rank than Kadyrov in the Russian Army. The highest rank in the Russian military is Field Marshal which is currently vacant.”
Nonetheless, in his bio I see no indication that he went through the Russian military higher education.
According to Wikipedia, “Kadyrov was given the rank of major general in July 2020, through an executive order of the Russian President. He added on his blog that he had been transferred from Ministry of Internal Affairs to the National Guard of Russia.” And “On 28 March 2022, President Putin promoted Kadyrov to the rank of lieutenant general.” And “On 5 October 2022, Kadyrov announced that President Putin had promoted him from lieutenant general to the rank of colonel general.”
Therefore it seems clear that his appointment was a political decision by Putin, nothing more.
His actual education is as follows:
“Kadyrov graduated with a degree in law from the Makhachkala Institute of Business and Law in 2004.[251] In 2006, he defended his thesis at Dagestan State Technical University to obtain a Candidate of Sciences degree in economics.”
This is the sort of person Martyanov would describe as someone who knows “shit from shinola” on military planning.
His “brilliance” at war may not be in question. Although I would question this statement by him:
Chechen’s Kadyrov: Russia should use low-yield nuclear weapon in Ukraine
https://english.alarabiya.net/News/world/2022/10/01/Chechen-s-Kadyrov-Russia-should-use-low-yield-nuclear-weapon-in-Ukraine
“Given Kadyrov’s relationship with Putin, his viewpoint carries more weight than most of the Russian General staff who are generally more detached from the front lines.”
Provide evidence of that or take it down the road as bullshit.

Barflies may have missed or not attached any significance to 2 recent statements. Put down the Kool Aid and ponder this…
1. Kremlin press release 1 Feb – “We see how NATO’s entire military infrastructure is working against Russia, and we see how NATO’s entire intelligence infrastructure, including reconnaissance aviation, and satellite groupings are working in the interests of Ukraine in a 24/7 mode.”
2. President Putin (Stalingrad celebration)- “Those seeking to defeat Russia on the battlefield apparently do not realize that a modern war with Russia would be entirely different for them. We’re not sending our tanks to their borders. Yet we have something to respond with, and it would not be limited to armor use only, everyone must realize that.”

I’d like to make a further point which it seems few people comprehend about the Russian SMO so far.
The Russian General Staff, in my opinion, clearly anticipates the entry of NATO into the war. Why?
Because they have clearly husbanded their military force in Ukraine from the get-go in order to have the bulk of the regular Russian army available to engage NATO in the future.
Look at the forces they sent in at the start of the SMO and the forces which have conducting the bulk of the ground fighting ever since.
The Donbass militias – which are not regular Russian army, nor are they trained and equipped to Russian army standards (at least until recently)
The Rosgvardia – which are not regular Russian army, they are a militarized police force used for counter-terrorism and security.
The Chechens – ditto.
The Volunteer Battalions – ditto.
The Wagner Group – ditto (although many of them presumably have previous Russian military experience and in any event have a lot of experience elsewhere in the world.)
All these people are considered “expendable” by the Russian General Staff – and rightly so. If you don’t expect or intend a massive quick victory over the enemy, and you expect a more powerful enemy is waiting in the wings to swoop in after you’ve been bled somewhat by the initial enemy, you don’t commit your best forces until the initial enemy has been reduced by your less capable forces.
This is what has happened up to now in Ukraine.
This is why you haven’t seen that “grand offensive” we all thought would happen weeks and months ago. The Russians are waiting for their “expendable” forces – supported by regular army artillery, armor and air force – to grind down the Ukrainian forces until there is little chance of serious losses once the regular army takes over at some future time to finish off the Ukrainian military and take the country, which is when the threat of a NATO intervention will be at its highest.
The Russians used their regular military at the beginning of the war to make the initial advances into Ukraine and to threaten Kiev, hoping to scare the Ukrainians into surrendering at best and at worst as a feint to pin Ukrainian forces in place around Kiev while the initial Russian advances took place. Once that objective was achieved, the regular army retreated and has not been seen on the battlefield since except as forces holding the initial Russian lines in Kherson and elsewhere, and as support forces where needed while the “expendable” forces have done the bulk of the fighting in and around Donbass.
This is how Ukraine achieved their “offensive successes” In Kharkiv and Kherson – they either fought thinly supported Rosgvardia forces or retreating Russian regulars who made no attempt to defend ground. Once the Ukrainians ran into reinforcing Russian regulars, they were stopped cold.
Yes, this is a cold-blooded calculation by the Russian General Staff – and a correct calculation. This is how war is fought. Get used to it.

An interesting Q&A on Ukraine in Canadian mainstream media, CTV.
The guy is a nutjob. Just another propagandist and moron-a-la-Martyonov. Did a quick google search on him and looked for his qualifications. He’s an author. No mention of his degree that I could find; others may be more successful. He speaks fluent Russian, and spent time in Russia. Seems to have trained as a pilot, but no mention of service in the RAF. Though it is highlighted that he did some acting. Brilliant! /s
He did note that Russia’s unprovoked aggression and “savage” occupation of Ukraine (sic) is not just against Ukraine, but against everyone. Everyone!! And it’s not all down to Putin – oh no. Putin is just giving voice to Russian indignation that it’s not the center of the world. It’s a Russian thing. Seems to me that the west’s propaganda is now shifting to something along the lines of Russians are just inherently aggressive, brutal, and evil; that they don’t recognize the right of other countries to exist. The west has been building up to this for a while, but mostly has been putting everything on Putin, in the time honored way that we build up monsters of everyone from Kim to Ghadaffy to Sadaam to anyone we don’t like; everyone is a Hitler and if only we got rid of that one guy, then we’d all be friends.
But now, it’s just all Russians. Juxtapose that with the recent statements of Lech Walesa, or the statements of the various members of the polish govt, and it looks like there is a genuine drive to create consensus that Russia just needs to disappear. Check out Gile’s video below to see what I’m driving at.

I think that boat has sailed. Russia has learnt that the west is not to be trusted. Blowing up NS was I think the absolute last straw, but there are a number of other non recoverable issues.
So get used to the idea that Russia and China are best friends and will be for as long as the USA remains the dominant empire and for 50 years afterwards.
If we all have to live under Chinese hegemony so be it. They may be repressive but they tend not to blow too many people up, so much of the world will be better off.
When one or other of Russia or China becomes too powerful, or when a third empire emerges, then and only then will the firndship falter.
All empires eventually fail. There are always several rival empires and for a while one dominates. Then a new one emerges as dominant and new rivals spring up
The Persian empire was knocked over by the Greeks, who were knocked over by the Romans, who were sort of knocked over by Byzantines, then Ottomans. The Portuguese knocked out the Ottomans, the Spanish knocked over (or joined with) the Portuguese. The Dutch briefly took out the Spanish, but the French basically took over for 100 years or so. Then the British took out the French and eventually the the USA took over (or like Spain and Portugal merged with) the UK empire.
Russia or China are set to be the new world hegemon. After that perhaps India or Brazil or Mexico, who knows.

Damn my father is Palestinian and after reading that first post even I started to wonder if we’re really jewish

Posted by: Test | Feb 3 2023 3:35 utc | 150

@posters 1and 15:
The demented list of “Jew” surnames not only includes groundless speculation regarding vague spelling similarities, it also ignores the fact that many “Jewish” surnames are also well-established non-Jewish surnames, going back to before Jews commonly used surnames. Roosevelt is an example, with a colonial ancestor who immigrated from the Netherlands. (I’m related to FDR through the Delano family.) “Braun” means Brown (the color.) Bush, the family name of two presidents, goes back to Puritan New England. Hitler was originally Schickelgruber, but Adolf’s father was a bastard with his mother’s name (but with an allegedly Jewish father, which the poster doesn’t mention).
My father’s male-line lineage, recorded in German church records, includes Jacob son of Abraham son of Jacob. My family name is of Swiss origin (going back to the 15th century in the Toggenburg), with my y-DNA showing earlier Norse origin.

So the Pentagon, in a hazy future, will be dispatching 16 M1 Abrams, around $10 million++ a pop.
But first they’re going to strip them off their state of the art secret body armor.
Then they’ll be ready for the most vicious missile offensives ever.
Soooooo strategic.

They really don’t have much faith in their nazi vassals’ ability to save those Abrams from being captured, do they?

Surprises me if you are unaware of the Johns Hopkins DNA study several years ago. Their research found that the Palestinian genome is 85% derived from the ancient Hebrews. Makes sense. When Titus and the other emperors deported a bunch of the Jews after their most recent rebellion, those who got kicked out of the place were exclusively elitist Talmudists. The peasantry, the craftsmen, the workers of all types remained in place as the Empire enjoyed their olives and wines, as well as taxation from the everyday merchants.
Ironic thing today is that most of those who holler “antisemitism” should be siding with the aboriginal Palestinians who over the centuries became Christians and more centuries embraced Islam…rather than the now ruling immigrants whose ancestry devolves from a swath running from northeastern Anatolia to southwestern Kazakhstan. Their ruling Kagan obliged his subjects to convert to Talmudic Judaism. Thus the ruling elite in the Zionist entity (aka Occupied Palestine) have no more direct connexion to that “Holy” land than Christians or Muslims.

Ukraine’s Use of “Petal Mines” Confirmed by West
“Ukroboronprom is a “serious, serious problem” for Ukraine and the whole military industry is suffering from a “lack of transparency and corruption,” John Herbst, a former U.S. ambassador to Kyiv and now director of the Eurasia Center at the Atlantic Council think tank, told a conference in Washington on 29 July 2019. USA sent advisors in 2019 to help Zelensky ‘modernise’ Ukraine’s military industry and get Ukraine’s weapons manufacturer Ukroboronprom to make the transition from being a State defensive endeavour to an offensive, USA style, exporting profit maker. Once that is achieved, war is needed to feed the investment. Like the Abrams factory has to be kept going to stop it shutting. There are 1000s of Abrams stored in USA deserts.
Ukroboronprom, like other Ukraine business, was rife with corruption, so it was being moved out of the country even before 2022, in order to attract foreign investment. Ukroboronprom sites were in the first targets of Russian missiles-on March 6, Zhytomyr Armour Plant and on April 15, the Vizar Plant. 18 November 2022, Ukroboronprom signed an agreement to manufacture and develop weapons with other NATO countries including: Poland, Czech Republic, France, Denmark and two other undisclosed countries. One of the weapons these countries produce is 82mm fragmentation mines that are being used with the 2B9 Vasylok automatic mortar, firing at 100-120 rounds per minute, range 4.5km. (USA supplied cluster bombs have been documented in Ukraine since October 2022). October 17, Ukrobornprom announced the preparations of a weapon with a range of up to 1000 kilometres, with a 75 kilogram warhead. It is an unmanned aerial vehicle and is rumored to be responsible for several attacks on Russian military infrastructure on Russian territory.
My take on this is that it was Ukroboronprom that USA wanted control of, and to keep it out of the hands of Yanukovych, ergo Russia, in 2014.
It is up to the civilian populations in USA and Europe to call out their governments on the use of banned armaments, and the UN should address this matter.
Russia will increasingly use drones and long range missiles, to avoid troop losses.

While I agree that it has long been a tactic of the Mossad to have their college interns post nasty anti-jewish comments on sites they don’t want people to read, what @jack posted in 1 above doesn’t match the modus operandi. He did not call them nasty things. He just named the jews in the positions they held.
Jack points out something I long ago noticed as well. If you scratch a Nazi you find a jew underneath, or paying his salary. It was true in 1933 and has been true ever since. The Skokokie Illinios neo-naxi March was organized by Wayne May, who turned out to be Jewish. Azov works for Kolomosky.
The entire dialectic of Nazis versus Jews was created by Jews and is used by Jews to control the conversation, collect damages, and to enable Israel to do everything the Nazis did that was supposedly bad.
Saying that out loud is to touch the third rail and be electrocuted by outrage.

If you are descended in part by the Delano clan, you would have a bit of Portuguese Sephardic Jewish ancestry. You may already be aware that when they arrived in the states they were said to have been active in the slave trade. Well, most of us possess unknowns of some repute in the pool in which our DNA swims.
What stuns me is that your testing included some Norse DNA. All I can say is that two of my Norse ancestral strains came from parts of Norway which produced large numbers of Vikings. AND those Vikings really got around…perhaps the connection is from the Netherlands, a place where the Vikings raided, when their first incursion against the hated empire of Charlemagne the Holocaustian of the Old Saxons, was his mint city (3rd largest in the empire) and was named Dorestad. It was located on a branch of the Rhein which silted up over the centuries and is today part of inland Holland.
With such a combination swimming around inside you, additional of the Swiss branch, you would be a fairly average American and if settlement percentages were employed without further data input, you would most logically live in Wisconsin.

The Palestinians descend from the Idumeans, formerly known as Edomites, sons of Esau, elder brother of the biblical Jacob. King Herod was an Idumean. Of course there were likely some remaining Hebrews in Palestine as well.
Presumably this discussion should be in the non-Ukraine area, although the Jewish identity of certain Ukrainians and Ukrainian-Americans seems to have provided grist for the mill.

Spelling errors do not mean much as most language/ genealogy experts allude to.
Beider himself invented an algorithm to account for this.
The Roosevelts and Delanos both have been considered to have Jewish blood of over five hundred years ago. The Delanos are said to have Irish ancestors from Delany but others have said that is incorrect and just an add-on over the years to cover up the Jewish connection or simply a mistake in family lore. De lano can mean the “ of the field” just as Roosevelt is “of the field” (red field) and it was common for Sephardic Jews to find refuge in Holland, which is where the Roosevelts and Delanos came from ie Dutch -Ruled New York.
The Astors were also Jews as were the Jacobson / Jeromes ie Winston Churchills’s mother.
So is Princess Kate (through her mum) , wife of the next- in -line to the British throne.
Not proof, but credible evidence when looked at in toto.

Slightly old news, but on 27th January Maria Zacharova made a really powerful and resounding statement regarding the German decision to send/permit Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, and it demonstrates how poignant this is to the Russians in terms of the parallels with 1941. Two key strands include the image/role of current Germany in repeating history from WW2, and the total destruction of many decades of successful German foreign policy after WW2 (and of course, the total absence of German sovereignty, but of course that’s obvious anyway).
The relevant segment of text on the MFA website has finally appeared in the English transcript of a 3 1/2 hour press briefing, of which the key segment I reproduce below. My thanks again to “S” for help in locating the right briefing. The entire briefing can be seen here in Russian – turn on closed captions for English or download the subcaption file from downsub.com, but it is a rather poor autotranslate so I’d recommend reading the official transcription (below) first to get a better feeling of the intent. The relevant segment is at approx 1hr32min to 1hr48min.

Question: What is Moscow’s comment on the United States’ decision to supply Ukraine with 31 M1 Abrams tanks?
Maria Zakharova: I have repeatedly commented on this today. Once again, decisions – regardless of who makes them – on supplying Kiev with tanks indicate that the collective West is deliberately escalating the situation and raising the stakes in the conflict in Ukraine. Obviously, neither Kiev nor the West is willing to seek any diplomatic solution; there are efforts to block negotiations with Russia at the legislative level, persecute any negotiators in the country, and make demands (rather than requests) for supplying them with more weapons, as Western diplomats claim that any decisive action must be taken on the battlefield at this point, not through diplomatic efforts.
The West is open about its ultimate goal of achieving a strategic defeat against Russia. To achieve this, the US and its allies continue pumping Kiev’s neo-Nazi regime with weapons; they are willing to sacrifice all of Ukraine and its residents, whose interests are ignored by Washington and Brussels. Vladimir Zelensky does not care about his people one bit.
Some ask why we think this when he is allegedly doing all this for the sake of the people. And I will tell you that Zelensky had never been involved in politics. When he made a decision to run for president, he kept telling everyone he would be a president of “peace,” and the sole thing he was aiming at was “peace.” He kneeled and swore an oath. It is hard to say what gods he was addressing; judging by his actions, it initially looked like he was a non-believer. Now I think he is a believer – a believer in some force of evil and darkness. We have seen it all. They made a film about him, coming up with a particular public image created for him. A certain way of thinking was imposed on the people, who assumed he would be a commoner representing and following the will of people. Their goal was to make an impression. Back then, no one paid attention – but they should have. What finances were used to this end? Who was the mastermind? What technologies were used? He deceived people in a way that I believe no one has deceived anyone in recent history.
So, if he deceived people, can anyone actually believe him now when he says he needs all these tanks, money and military resources for the future of Ukraine? He is telling lies just as he lied when kneeling before the Ukrainian people, and just as he lied when asked about his addiction. He was lying than, and he is lying now. And there is only one reason: he has nothing to do with the Ukrainian people. He has never thought about those whose lives are now in his hands. He does not even see them as pawns. Every pawn is valuable in a chess game because it is your game and your resources. But for him, people are not even pawns; they are nothing to him. Money, rousing statements and applause are what matters to him; this is solely about personal ambition. Everything else is not just secondary but simply does not exist in the painful logic of this aggressive, ‘bloody little man.’
For its part, Russia has always remained open to the possibilities of utilizing diplomatic and negotiating tools, and we have repeatedly said this. This approach was used and then blocked by Kiev as the West told it to do.
The collective West, NATO and the EU have long abandoned diplomacy, choosing a different path instead. They have started creating a threat to security by starting a fire, by fueling it, and by simply pushing the European continent towards a global disaster.
What is happening now is not about Ukraine, Russia or even the European continent. It is a much larger, global issue.
You asked about the US decision to supply American tanks. But why point it out? Obviously, this stance applies to all countries. Only one of them stands apart, Germany. But this is another story.
We remember very well what German tanks are.
They are machines that became a symbol not simply of death and the ideology of death, but of hatred for humanity and a global, existential threat to the entire planet.
When you read about fascism, Nazism and World War II, it then, I believe, becomes obvious that SS uniforms and German panzers with Third Reich emblems became a global symbol of humankind plunging into an abyss of hatred, horror and murder. Red Army soldiers and the anti-Hitler coalition pulled all of us out this abyss, both their contemporaries and those of us who were born later. Those were young people who fought on the front, and the home front workers who supported them. German panzers alone became an anti-symbol that was forever emblazoned in the memory of humankind. Today, they expect these tanks to roll through our territory again. In any event, it is what they were assigned to do.
What does Germany expect? Does it hope that armoured vehicles coated with camouflage paint and bearing crosses of iron, the symbols of the German armed forces, will, as before, drive through our cities and villages? We remember how it all ended before. Does Berlin remember? Most importantly, people in Berlin should realise that the Germans have no moral right to supply their armoured vehicles for hostilities against Russia.
I would like to draw your attention to a statement made at the German Parliament on January 25, 2023. Addressing Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Petr Bystron, a member of the German Bundestag, noted: “Mr Chancellor, this is a historic day. You have just destroyed the foundation of Germany’s post-war foreign policy. Germany bears special responsibility for the victims of World War II. For a long time, this was a core element of this country’s existence. I mean the 6 million Jews, as well as over 20 million men, women and children who were killed in the Soviet Union. Your predecessors, the great Social Democrats Willi Brandt and Helmut Schmidt, accomplished more than anyone else in the name of peace and reconciliation. Willi Brandt even received the Nobel Peace Prize for this. The slogan ‘Never again’ implied a refusal to send weapons to conflict zones. This has always been the core of German foreign policy.”
Everybody has their own way of writing their names into history. The people of Germany realise that Berlin has no moral, legal or ethical right to supply armoured vehicles and tanks to kill Russians.
We see plenty of video footage showing that even younger members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine speak Russian, among other things. They have been brainwashed by the Kiev regime, and many of them were forced to deploy to the front after they were rounded up all over Ukraine by the Nazis who, by the way, never leave their bunkers. They have pitted nations, peoples and even members of the same families against each other, making them so-called warring parties. Mothers are heartbroken because their sons are on different sides of the barricades. Over the years a lot has been done to tear Ukraine apart, with its difficult history, multi-ethnic composition and the first years of the notorious independence. So many Ukrainians dreamed about it. This independence should have started with responsibility, rather than permissiveness.
Nowadays, bloody dividing lines have pierced the hearts of a great many people. These regions have yet to experience the caterpillar tracks of German tanks.
And yet, Olaf Scholz went for it. Why? Frankly, because there are historical figures and there are others. There are people who would take a sure death defending their beliefs. Not because of pride or feeling exceptional but because they realise that this is what humanness means. Other people may have the political strength, material resources and support, including from voters, but they do not have the courage to make the right choice, to avoid their ancestors’ mistakes, including the mistakes for which the people of Germany paid an enormous price.
I would like to remind Mr Scholz of this (I would also like to remind Ms Baerbock, but I think there is no point) – or maybe tell him in case he does not know. When German prisoners of war were held in the Soviet Union after our victory, they were not tortured or mistreated like our soldiers and civilians were in German concentration camps. They were fed by the very people who not only lacked food but simply had had nothing to eat for many years. (This is to put it mildly. I would use different words in different circumstances).
My grandmother told me about this. All her life she considered bread the most remarkable food. She told me that the Soviet people, and she, a Russian person, in particular, shared that scarce post-war bread with German POWs after they had burnt down entire villages and killed children by forcing them into the houses that were to be set on fire. I asked her: “Grandmother, you did not have enough for yourself. How, after what you had been through, could you share your bread with the people who had wanted to kill you?” Do you know, Mr Scholz, what my grandmother replied? She said: “Masha, we felt sorry for them.” It was not a sympathy that you call tolerance. Feeling sorry meant loving, having the inner strength to share essentials even with enemies.
You in the West have long lost any idea of the true values rooted in love. It is impossible to believe that today, the West is supplying German tanks to a place where they already brought so much grief and suffering by killing tens of millions of people. It is also impossible to imagine that you understand the meaning of love, compassion, honour and conscience.
I remember very well the visit of the then Foreign Minister of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to Volgograd with an official delegation in 2015. Repentant, he bowed to the graves of both Soviet soldiers and the German soldiers who perished on our territory. He said that this must never happen again. And now it is happening.
The day when Germany decided to deliver Leopards to Ukraine is historic, as a German parliament member said, also because it completely proved and cemented the fact which we have long talked about: Germany has fully lost its sovereignty. Olaf Scholz admitted to giving up on an independent Germany foreign policy forever. He gave up everything that his predecessors had built over the decades after World War II – and in which they succeeded, by the way.
I should say that we would not be surprised if Germany’s Leopards at the Bundeswehr were replaced not by new products from the German defence industry but by American Abrams tanks. After all, this is exactly what Washington wants. Why ask Berlin? Berlin is no more. Angela Merkel tried as much as she could to defend and balance Germany’s own national interests and the US administration’s enormous pressure on her and the German people. This is how Americans always treat an occupied country.
Washington declared its goals in 2022 during the Congressional hearings. US Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said that Russia must sustain a strategic defeat.

So I came here today to get updates on the Russian – Ukraine SMO.
Instead I stumbled into a very dubious debate on genealogy.

Posted by: BroncoBilly | Feb 3 2023 4:55 utc | 170

Richard Steven Hack@144
Martyanov uses the “shit from shinola” retort to smear anyone who objects to the to actions of the “Russian General Staff”. This blind adherence to the Russian General Staff is ignorant of the conditions on the ground and many of the weaknesses of the Russian ground forces. Martyanov specialty is naval warfare but he is limited in air war strategy as the poster FB pointed out at the Unz review. While Martyanov has a good understanding of the math of war he lacks a full understanding of Col Boyd’s war theory.
Your comment that Donbass militias, Chechens, Volunteer Battalions, and the Wagner Group are as you say“All these people are considered “expendable” by the Russian General Staff” is totally false and insulting. They represent the best urban combat forces Russia had for the recapture of critical cities. This represents a failure to understand that the Russian Army has rightly chosen the best units for the current subtask of the overall war against NATO.
The Russian General Staff did fail to make the case to assemble a sufficient force to take on the Ukraine military that war poised to invade Donbass. Much if this failure could also be attributed to the Russian Duma which limited how many regular Russian Army troops could be deployed outside Russia.
The Russian General Staff began the war as if they were fighting the last war which is a common failure of armies. Thus failure resulted in their rejection of offers for the mass production of Russian-made advanced drones in the early portions of the war and thus had to adopt Iranian drone technology to close the gap.
The Russian General Staff also failed to recruit sufficient forces at the beginning of the war to replace those who completed their six month service at the front. This oversight led to a static war where Russia had to train additional forces to make up the shortfall of contract troops.
Your attitude about the Donbass militias demonstrates an ignorance of the Ukraine war against the Donbass where the militias were able to defeat the best units of the Ukraine army in three Caldrons. It the first instance the Ukraine air force shutdown MH-17 to allow several brigades to escape the trap. The Russian Army has yet to match these efforts and even allowed NATO advisors to escape the last Donbass Cauldron. The Militias also had to deal with a strong mafia and Ukraine’s fifth column. Those who didn’t follow the 2014-2015 war was have a lot to learn about what soldiers such as as “Texas” experienced.
Kadyrov’s troops are well-trained and Chechnya serves as a training group of many other units in urban warfare. Anyone in the Russian General Staff who would claim that Kadyrov’s troops were expendable would be immediately fired by Putin who has a close personal relationship with Kadyrov. One cannot dismiss Kadyrov’s understanding of war as he has excellent officers up to the rank of Colonel General to advise him. Please take some time to understand Chechnya. Note that Kadyrov did get a Russian general removed and the commander of Russian forces in Syria to take over the war. This general would still be in charge except the war is expanding and Belarus demanded that the Russian Chief of Staff lead the war.
The Wagner Group could be described as the Russian equivalent of the French Foreign Legion and they are far better trained and experienced that the regular army with the possible exception of the Russian Airborne.
When Russia actually initiates a breakthrough, thanks to the Wagner Group, and is able to better suppress the Ukrainian air defenses the war will shift dramatically in Russia’s favor. Until then the meat grinder approach is working based on war math. The problem that Putin faces is how to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine while avoiding nuclear war for as long as possible. The go slow approach to the war allows for the depopulation of Ukraine which compounds to economic collapse and demilitarization of Western Europe. I fully expect that NATO will go all in to prevent a total Russian victory and eventually be defeated resulting in the total collapse of NATO governments.
Facing failure, the US political class and much of the US military believe they can win a nuclear war with Russia. At this point, Russia can destroy about two-thirds of the US nuclear triad while the US cannot stop any of the Russian nuclear missiles. Where the missiles are targeted on both sides (especially Russian missiles) determines the extent of the Nuclear Winter following a nuclear exchange. Putin is walking a fine line and I hope he can thread the needle and stop the war on Russia that has been going on every 50-100 years since the 12th century.

BM @168–
Yes, one of the best statements by Maria Zakharova I’ve ever read. I only posted the part about her grandmother but read the entire briefing. What she describes is the utter lack of soul within Western Elites; they are akin to the unfeeling automatons of The Terminator or of a Dark Side Sith. And it comes as no surprise to discover they are married to equally soulless spouses. But they’re sort unfortunately are nothing new. Bacon wrote a book advocating genocide against commoners to safeguard elites and used Christianity as his spear much like the Spanish Popes deemed all non-Catholic people inhuman spawning the genocide within the Age of Plunder.
Yes friend, humanity is tired of such shit, and as we now see, it’s just a small cadre of Western elites that need to be ousted from power. But RoW won’t wait for that to occur; rather, the banner of a new world is already flying and many nations are flocking to it. And it’s that Movement that will finally move humanity forward into the next paradigm.

The names list posted by “Jack” has been posted at least half a dozen times under other user names. Either by the same douche bag or a merry band of similar douche bags. A good number of the people complaining about naughty Jack either must be new and never seen it before or maybe working with “Jack’ to fill up and slow down this forum. Who really knows and who really cares about this stupid names list. In the end, its the not the important stuff that “Moon” provides. The world will never run out of assholes, so move on to something more relevant…

It seems a major Russian offensive is expected in February. I expect that if the Ukrainian lines break that the CIA and MI6 will deploy their dirty bomb or tactical nuke in Ukraine, and blame it on Russia. If they must lose Ukraine they will at least try to use it to kick Russia out of the UN or off the UN Security Council.

Switzerland is reviewing its famous neutral policy after the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine. The parliament in Bern tomorrow will discuss a call by politicians to consider legislative changes that would allow other countries to transfer Swiss-made weapons to Ukraine. The current policy states that Swiss weapons cannot be transferred to countries at war.
Moreover, it has just been revealed that leading Swiss politicians are now calling for the sale of 96 mothballed Swiss Leopard 2 tanks for just one symbolic franc to Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, replacing the tanks their governments plan to send to Ukraine.

Sales of fertile land, timber cropping up in Ukraine — Putin
Cases of fertile land and timber being sold in Ukraine are emerging, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday at a meeting with representatives of patriotic and youth organizations.
“I do not know who is selling Ukraine’s fertile land but the fact remains that it is happening. They are also selling timber, although there is not too much of it, not like in Siberia. The Carpathians will soon be bald there,” Putin said.
Sales of fertile land in Ukraine are still taking place, the Russian leader noted. “It is up to them,” he added.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an artillery strike on 12 colleagues who wanted to surrender. All of them, most likely, died, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko told TASS.
According to him, a white cloth was hung out instead of a flag near Kreminna at a stronghold of Ukrainian militants, and the senior post began to request the opportunity to surrender to 12 servicemen.
When “practically everything was ready for evacuation,” the Ukrainian troops opened “dense small arms fire and artillery strikes” on their colleagues.

“Q: How real is the nuclear threat?
Giles: It’s not.”

The purpose of that lie is to reassure the growing number of sheeple who, although they’ve accepted or tolerated the imperial propaganda line so far, are becoming worried this will lead to nuclear war.
Few really think a nuclear war is worth having or risking for the sake of the Ukraine, however much their consent and support has helped to greatly increase this risk. So now the propaganda will have to include downplaying the Armageddon threat.

“While Martyanov has a good understanding of the math of war he lacks a full understanding of Col Boyd’s war theory.”
Bullshit. Provide evidence, not assertions.
“They represent the best urban combat forces Russia had for the recapture of critical cities.”
I never said they weren’t effective. I said they were “expendable”. Don’t put words in my mouth. They are not regular Russian army, they are either “special forces” – in the case of the Chechens, or they are “experienced” – in the case of Wagner – or they are “second-line” – in the case of the rest. What matters is my point that they are not regular Russian army, which is being held back to reduce losses in the event of a NATO intervention.
Address that point if you can.
“The Russian General Staff did fail to make the case to assemble a sufficient force to take on the Ukraine military that war poised to invade Donbass.”
No, they didn’t. Did the Ukrainians successfully invade Donbass? Then what are you talking about?
“Much if this failure could also be attributed to the Russian Duma which limited how many regular Russian Army troops could be deployed outside Russia.”
Bullshit. It has long been the case that conscripts aren’t allowed to fight outside Russia. It has nothing to do with the size of the force that entered Ukraine. As I explained, this force was calibrated to do one thing: take down the Ukrainians in the Donbass while holding other strategic areas and do it on a timetable known only to the General Staff – and not to anyone here.
“The Russian General Staff began the war as if they were fighting the last war which is a common failure of armies. Thus failure resulted in their rejection of offers for the mass production of Russian-made advanced drones in the early portions of the war and thus had to adopt Iranian drone technology to close the gap.”
I’ve seen no actual evidence of that assertion which has been made by many people. The case could be made that Russia didn’t think they needed as many drones as they had, or that it would be cheaper to acquire more from Iran than built them itself (assuming in fact that they aren’t building them itself which is by no means proven.) This is a case of prioritizing the budget.
In any event, Russia clearly hasn’t either run out of drones or has suffered any particular losses due to the number of drones it has. If you can prove otherwise, cite the figure and provide a link. Otherwise this is just more concern troll assertions without evidence.
“The Russian General Staff also failed to recruit sufficient forces at the beginning of the war to replace those who completed their six month service at the front. This oversight led to a static war where Russia had to train additional forces to make up the shortfall of contract troops.”
Another assertion that I haven’t seen any evidence for despite it being repeated by various parties. Cite an official Russian source that this actually happened or that it mattered on the front lines. My impression is that Russian forces have been regularly rotated in an out from available forces inside Russia.
“Your attitude about the Donbass militias demonstrates an ignorance of the Ukraine war against the Donbass where the militias were able to defeat the best units of the Ukraine army”
Once again, I didn’t say they were ineffective. I said they were not trained or equipped to Russian regular army standard and they were used to conserve the regular Russian army forces. Try to read what I said, not what you think I said.
“Those who didn’t follow the 2014-2015 war was have a lot to learn about what soldiers such as as “Texas” experienced.”
What he, or anyone else there, experienced is irrelevant to the design and implementation of the current conflict. Which is precisely what I said initially about Bently – he is not a high-level command officer and can only comment either on what he has personally seen or what higher-level officers – of a grade high enough to comprehend war planning and the political objectives of the SMO – have told him. He’s not competent to discuss military operations on a high level.
“Kadyrov’s troops are well-trained and Chechnya serves as a training group of many other units in urban warfare.”
Once again, your whole argument with me rests on things I didn’t say. I said these are not regular Russian army – that is a fact. They are Rosgvardiya. However effective they are, and I’m sure they are, they are still being used to conserve regular Russian military.
“he has excellent officers up to the rank of Colonel General to advise him.”
Never said he didn’t. In fact, I fully expect that to be the case.
ing and Belarus demanded that the Russian Chief of Staff lead the war.
“The Wagner Group could be described as the Russian equivalent of the French Foreign Legion and they are far better trained and experienced that the regular army with the possible exception of the Russian Airborne.”
I’d like to see evidence that their training is better than regular army. Experienced I can believe since they’ve been in various conflict zones. In any event, I said in my post that many of them are former Russian regular army. My point remains that they are being used to conserve regular Russian army forces.
“The problem that Putin faces is how to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine while avoiding nuclear war for as long as possible.”
On this, we agree, as I’ve said many times, Putin is “managing the NATO response.”
“On a personal note, the effects of Nuclear Winter as far worse than the academic researchers claim as they fail to consider all the factors leading to global cooling following a Nuclear exchange as I previously posted at this forum and the UNZ review.”
I don’t know whether nuclear winter is feasible or not and I don’t care. I’m not a climatologist. If you aren’t or haven’t seen the computer models in detail, I’d suggest being skeptical. Otherwise that is irrelevant to my points.
To recap: 99% of your “rebuttal” is rebutting things I didn’t say and completely missing the point of my post.
Nice try. Fail.

Posted by: BM | Feb 3 2023 6:25 utc | 193

I’ll add one more point.
I’m quite sure that neither Kadyrov or Prigozhin have even been told what the General Staff operational plan is. The way both of those two men run their mouths, there’s no way the General Staff would allow them to know the highly classified military operational plan. They will be told just enough for them to direct their forces to the point the General Staff wants them and to do what they’re told.
So unless they’ve picked up some chit-chat from loose-lipped command-level officers who have been told the operational plan, they’re talking out of their hats, just like everyone else on the ground in Ukraine.
It’s been stated many, many times by all of the military analysts: No one – absolutely no one – knows what the operational plan of the Russian General Staff is or its timetable (if there is one) and no one – absolutely no one – knows what the goal of the Russian state with regards to Ukraine and NATO except Putin and his immediate team. And no amount of quoting from official Russian statements changes that fact, especially in the latter case. Putin will not and is not going to tell you what his endgame is, other than insuring Russian security interests the best way he can determine in general terms. How and when in specific terms is a highly classified secret.
As I’ve said many times here, when I say what Russia is going to do, I’m saying what I would do and what is the logical course for Russia to do based on its established security concerns. As I’ve also said, maybe Putin and the General Staff are dumber than I am. Somehow I doubt it. But I’m very sure they’re smarter than most of the people on this site and most of the pro-Russian analysts, let alone the anti-Russian analysts.
But I’ve been wrong before over-estimating human intelligence, so we’ll see.

Very good question. What comes out of Hollywood is seen as cool, sexy, fun. What we get from the Kremlin is austere, authoritarian and sometimes scary. This is an oversimplification but the best I can do.

So in your view, Russia is represented by the Kremlin and the US is represented by Hollywood. Interesting.
Your expressed opinion of Hollywood is subjective. I find it boring, authoritarian and sometimes scary ignorant.
