Supressa is a very good source for a lot of things pertaining to the SMO. Many good articles. The problem is they are written in Russian. So you need to convert them to English using a translator. I use the Google Translator. As you can see in the above addresses, the translator is already embedded in the addresses. Theoretically, you should be able to copy the links to an address bar, and the result should be the Supressa article in English.
However, in my browser Google will not translate the article unless I use a VPN located outside the US (preferably Asia). If I try to download the article without using the VPN, a message displays from Google saying “we could not translate that article.”
So to download the article, open a new page. Activate your VPN with an Asia address. Then copy the above address to the address bar and hit Enter. The article should download.
Regarding Supressa, on every page there is a black bar across the top of the page. One of the entries in this bar is “Armies and Wars.” Open that title up in a new page and you’ll find all kinds of articles every day about the war, including a day by day blow by blow account of what happened that day by time stamp. Very good. And so long as you open a link from your original page that was translated and you have maintained your Asian VPN, all new opened links will appear translated, after initially showing in Russian.

Also, Joe Brawndo is tapping the strategic petroleum reserve to sedate domestic opinion, if it runs dry before he can somehow drive the real oil price down all hell will break loose.
As suggested above, it could just be another BS play to placate NATO public opinion, refresh the Russia did it narrative, and keep the war going. Predicating negotiations on RF withdrawal almost guarantees a failure of diplomacy.

It has been clear, almost from the beginning, that this war is very theatrical. As are most US’ wars. I think it was van Creveld called it “theatrical micro-militarism”. Closer to a Hollywood production, a script, aimed at “deterrence”, not a real war plan aimed at destruction.
You will note that the stumbling block for our (western) Ukraine plan is lack of the real material resources to carry it out. Hence the patch, patch, patch approach to the whole thing. You could say the same of the Russians, whose goals have been political from the beginning, except they had the material resources for whatever handy before they started.

RF had made a very early possible ‘mistake’ in February when it didn’t shot down datalinks to probably all MilSats. Also it didn’t specify that data share to gain strategic advances would be understood as a direct involvement.
RF has very formidable Electronic Warfare systems that have not been used yet. So I guess it has still the time to neutralise those. And when they do, this is how we will know that the war actually started.

But in a ‘flash-boom-bang, looky here and there fancy weird weapons doing all kinds of flashy stuff’ – not yet happening.
This war is a slow grind with massive artillery steel walls raining on poor Ukrainians. Almost static while not really televised, as all previous US wars were.
But having said all that, I think when, and not if, it escalates, it might become more dynamic and attractive.
What Ukraine is doing together with the West is engaging its propaganda machine, directing and orchestrating pathetic theatrics made to fit the uninformed Western mind. And apparently it is somehow working to the certain point.

Just read a BBC News article called “Russia demands annexations recognised before talks”. It’s like the Beeb can’t understand why Ukrainian regions that have been attacked by the Ukrainian military for the last eight years would possibly want to join Russia!
The Beeb calls the annexations “illegal” but I don’t recall any international court making that judgement. The NATO/EU propaganda is worryingly total. All the mainstream UK media are in lockstep.

A note from home front here is USA. The amount of blue-and-yellow on public display is sharply down. I’ve not seen an Azov t-shirt in a while. All right thinking people of course Stand With Ukraine, they are not proclaiming that as much as they were. The constant is that Russia is Mordor and Putin is Sauron. The plosives in Putin’s name will always be accompanied by a bit of spit and spray and snarl, covid transmission be damned. Simply pronouncing the Putin name quietly is enough to arouse suspicion.
My take is most are ready to let it go. Change the subject. If prompted they will still be fervent Z-man supporters. But they would rather not be prompted
