Open (Not Ukraine) Thread 2022-223

Today I unfortunately found nothing of interest to which I could add an original thought.

News & views not related to the war in Ukraine …

Comments

For those who expressed interest in my reports on the abrupt ending of Covid restrictions here in China, this is the situation a week or so later.
The installation in the vestibule in our apartment block of card access, health and place code scanning apparatus which was partly complete, that was carted away for scrap this morning.
Access controls with similar equipment at the urban village, all gone.
Barriers around the local park forcing access through one control point, all gone.
Controls on public transport and inter-regional travel. All gone.
With very few exceptions such as access to care homes, the entire system has been removed. It did seem that there was a sudden acceleration in the process to bring us to this point.
This only applies to internal arrangements (with the exception of Macau which was kind of unified with the mainland a while ago for Covid restrictions, good news for devotees of gambling and prostitution), as access from outside which includes Hong Kong is still subject to quarantine, now down to five days hotel plus I think still three at home. It was 14 + 7 a while back. This we are told will be gradually scaled down further during next year. Chinese airlines are looking at arranging more international flights, and will of course have the jump on European airlines now banned from taking the shortest route over Siberia.

Serbia Invoke aid from Russia? I wish they could, but:
Difficult to do , as Russia is excluded of overflight over many intervening countries. I believe Romania and Hungary may have just terminated those rights as well recently .So Russia has no “legal “ public way to get aid or troops to Serbia . Only way now is by smuggling on commercial airlines of other nations? or by road/sea.

Your attempts to prove that the Covid19 drama had nothing to do with the CCP are getting desperate. Globalists loved the PRC as an ideal production site for big profits without labor unions, land or legal issues etc. they wanted this wet dream to go on and on, so they didn’t want C19. Fauci & co also did not want a C19 lab escape as their roles would come out. The CIA works for this Anglo Establishment.

Welcome to the Falun Gong Show (also a subsidiary of CIA Global Enterprises).
Here is the more sensible order of events. The virus was accidentally released from Fort Detrick. Rather than admit their screw up, the CIA and DoD decided to cover up the event and took it to Wuhan for the military games where it was released. They pointed everyone to the 2 local smoking guns. The NIH decided to “not let the crisis go to waste” and this was the perfect opportunity to field test the new mRNA virus delivery technology. Big pharma and the advertising dependent media were more than happy to play along and goose their bottom lines.”

I don’t see how those are mutually exclusive. It’s easily possible that the US first screwed up at Fort Detrick and then doubled down with a deliberate release in Wuhan to which the Chinese government then overreacted, having correctly diagnosed it as a US bioattack. Then the Western power elites, already having pre-planned using the occasion of a “pandemic” as the pretext for radical totalitarian escalations and socioeconomic assaults, followed China’s lead while blaming China for the outbreak itself.

Even for actual war indeed: The enemies US and China collaborating on gain-of-function research whose primary goal is to develop the most lethal bioweapons possible.

“if we do in fact live in the age of biowar, and if the corona is just a soldier in the theater, then what about Omicron? It serves as the perfect active answer to the rampant virus, inducing just the right amount of natural immunity, at just the right amount of minor cost.”
It evolved in the milder direction one would expect it to, in spite of all the attempts of the authorities and institutions to use their lockdowns and related suppression measures to cause it to become more virulent.

A scholarly study found that British colonialism caused approximately 165 million deaths in India from 1880 to 1920, while stealing trillions of dollars of wealth. The global capitalist system was founded on European imperial genocides, which inspired Adolf Hitler and led to fascism.

Muslims have not really contributed to Europe in any way . Yes, some people talk about a so-called Golden Age in Spain , but that is too little , and insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
The totality of evidence is that Islam has been a blight on Europe and precious few even Muslim countries -in MENA -want the last of the powerful Muslims – the Turks ,back.

I concluded long ago it was a deliberate release from the start, and the 2019 pandemic war games were part of the final preparations for this deliberate release.
Those war games also could fit an opportunistic scenario. Either way the globalist-technocratic elites and institutions, governments and established churches, immediately and unanimously grabbed the “lockdown” ball and ran with it.

@78 uncle
I am not perfectly sure in any of my assertions.
I try to make rational connections and raise the specter of debate.
I have made the connection before that liberalism in the white collar sector in the U.S. has benefitted the most, outside of China itself, with U.S.-China relations. It is not a stretch then to see why the white conservatives in the U.zs. distrust China so much: they view U.S. technocratic elite as being in bed with China.
Extrapolating from this, we can see how the Trump phenomenon had to be derailed by the nuke option of covid-19: Trump was threatening the meal ticket for the liberal establishment by pointing out that very few in the U.zs. had seen any of the boon from U.S.-China relations.
Orange-man-bad had to go.
And if you are like me and think that China might not be, as a country with 1 billion people, as cohesive as we are often led to believe, it stands to reason that China itself may have within it its own struggle of national liberation.
So I don’t think it is a stretch to say that there may be those in power in China who sincerely viewed the DJT-phenomenon as a threat, alongside western liberalism, and opted to launch the covid event as a mutual effort to stall this emerging spiritual moment.
I view technocratic elites as perpetually playing “whack-a-mole” with spirit that is perpetually and relentllessly trying to free itself from centralizing technocrats. To me, this is the ageold path of spirit attempting to liberate itself and as it does, it reveals the arrogance and hubris of those who will go to untold lengths to keep it corked in the bottle.

Sometimes it seems we underestimate historical and cultural differences.
As an example: if you look at the population, Spain is part of Europe (top-heavy population pyramid, aging population). But if you look at unemployment figures, including youth unemployment, Spain is in the same group as Morocco, Tunesia and Algeria.
You could wonder what is the result of policy, and what is caused by history.

Europe and West Asia have been fighting and trading with each other since the time of the ancient Greeks. Both are closer to each other (and Russians) than anybody further east. Predatory, evangelical monotheists, with alphabets and “arabic numerals”.
The “middle east” has been a cross roads between 3 continents since there has been anybody to use it. And it shows it too. A vast patchwork of peoples and religions.

Regarding muslims, Europe and Dark Ages: Europe got out of the Dark Ages on its own. Barbaric invasions, including the muslim invasion, which was the nail in the coffin, plunged Europe into the Dark Ages. The invasions caused the disruption of statehood, political fragmentation and insecurity, cut off established trade routes and diplomatic relations. In two words: economic collapse. The slow but steady economic reprisal, which started in the IX-X century, was the result of a new political stability; not as stable as in the best years of the Roman Empire, but still better than most societies. Europe is cold and, especially Western Europe, is poor of natural resources: it is not the most likely place for a preindustrial society. Florence, in the warm Mediterranean south of Europe, is 44° North; Beijing, the northern capital of China, is 40° North. Agricolture, the main economic resource of pre-industrial societies, in Europe is nothing like in Egypt, Mesopotamia, India or China.

The Arabia of today and its surroundings are materially rich and an intellectual black hole at the same time. You can get rich or poor by chance, while it is sustained growth that requires intellectual capabilities, planning and functional institutions. Europe entered a phase of sustained growth in the IX century, which lasted up to the XX century. That was possible thanks to a series of inventions that boosted the crop yields of Europe during the Dark, but not stupid, Ages: three fields system, horse collars, horseshoes, heavy ploughs etc. A series of financial inventions to adapt to the new situation after the fall of the Roman Empire, i.e. lack of gold for coinage, political fragmentation, set the foundation of Eropean (re)rise.

Something that I find disgusting about the pro-NATO/Empire trolls since March is that they always refer to the number of civilians most recently killed by the Ukrainian Nazis, suggesting that it is Russia’s fault that Nazis do Nazi things like murdering innocents. The SOCOM trolls practically gloat over the pain and suffering that the Ukrainian Nazis are inflicting upon civilians.
This most recent batch of trolls is quite disturbing in their deeply psychotic lack of empathy. They even seem to take great joy in the pain the Russians experience from having to kill their Ukrainian brothers and sisters.
I’ve never believed in metaphysical evil, but these latest trolls represent a challenge to that aspect of my worldview. They literally lack what I consider to be the minimum defining qualities of what is necessary to be categorized as human.

Russia bids for construction of first nuclear plant in Saudi Arabia
Russia planning to increase its nuclear energy imports amid rising global demand in wake of energy crisis, says deputy prime minister
Russia’s Rosatom is bidding for the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Saudi Arabia, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said Tuesday.
Other projects, including the construction of one more nuclear power plant in Türkiye, are also being discussed, Novak said in an article for Energy Policy magazine.
Russia is also planning to increase by 25% the share of nuclear energy until 2040, he said.
The deputy prime minister added that Russia may also increase the export of its nuclear energy as its demand is growing due to the global energy crisis.

Erdogan issues missile warning to Greece – declared that his latest weapons could “hit Athens”
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned on Saturday that his country’s newest ballistic missiles could reach Athens, before reiterating Türkiye’s demand that Greece cease its alleged militarization of the Aegean islands.

Türkiye test-fired its ‘Tayfun’ ballistic missile in October, reportedly launching the projectile 561 kilometers (348 miles) along its Black Sea coast. The short-range missile was developed in secret by Ankara-based defense contractor Roketsan, and will supposedly be capable of striking land or sea targets at a range of just under 1,000 kilometers (621 miles).

Then I thought, now that he’s broke, with nothing more to offer his enablers, he can be safely thrown under the bus, a demo that the system works. Nope, the timing, hours before his subpoenaed testimony in the House Committee of Whores he funded, is just one more coincidence theory too massive to swallow. As you imply, he’ll likely be afforded the same failsafe suicide-prevention protection provided to Jeffrey Epstein — 24/7 video surveillance, multiple guards, etc. This will occur shortly after the FBI conducts a thorough search of his properties to “secure” any and all incriminating evidence.

It evolved in the milder direction one would expect it to, in spite of all the attempts of the authorities and institutions to use their lockdowns and related suppression measures to cause it to become more virulent.
It is comforting to assume that the evolutionary path of viruses is always tending toward becoming more benign, but this model ignores several realities.
Your hypothesis does not explain the existing evolutionary tree as Omicron derives directly from the originally detected 2019-20 virus as determined by genome analysis, not from more immediate precursors and contemporary variants like Delta which was not “milder” than what came before.
First, the evolutionary process is always one of relationship between host and virus. They adapt to each other if possible, that is if the hosts don’t immediately drop dead. This implies that naive hosts lack these adaptations and so “mild” is a usually relative term designating specific relationship.
Second, the virus can reproduce and spread long before the host’s adaptive immune system kicks into gear, contradicting your hypothesis because the virus has reproduced and moved on long before the host gets sick. This is especially true for gof viruses which are selected for asymptomatic spread and immune escape.
It is the asymptomatic spread through aerosols, known by mid-January 2020 in China, who shared this with the entire world, mostly ignored when it could have made a difference, ending the pandemic in its infancy, which shaped China’s epidemic containment guidelines which some people have declared crazy harsh. Well, when has there been an asymptomatic aerosol spreading gof viral pandemic b4?
I read recently in a western journal that Omicron came out of west Africa. Several questions came to mind. Why am I given access to read this? Am I supposed to draw assumptions based on stereotypes and generalizations to construct some predestined narrative? I then wondered, are there empire biolabs in west Africa?
Omicron — the Goldilocks variant, not too harsh but fast enough to outcompete Delta.
The thingy is still not back in the bottle however, outcompeting preventives? and treatments, harming and killing early the old and unhealthy, the most “burdensome’ people (to their aspirations) in the eyes of the ethically challenged ruthless capital overlords.

Bill Gates is undoubtedly already under constant surveillance, but certainly not for the public’s protection.
Yesterday I watched Jimmy Dore’s interview of Whitney Webb, on her book: One Nation Under Blackmail – Vol. 1: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime that Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D3rhlXhvf-c
In it, she documents a very deep dark rabbit hole of perversity and depravity, including a discussion of Gates’ relationship with reprobate Epstein (which apparently proved too much for Melinda).
It leads me to think the term “pedo-Satanists” used by some commenters here is not hyperbole at all. Maybe the CIA laced the DC swamp water with a strange new psychedelic; the evil entrenched in the Empire, the world’s largest organized crime syndicate, appears to be driven by some metaphysical force. Lust, extreme avarice (pleonexia), sadism, fear, just don’t seem adequate to explain it. Whether metaphysical (demonic)force or merely extreme psychosis I shudder to imagine experiencing such a state of mind/soul.
Not sure I have the intestinal fortitude to read Webb’s book.

Excellent comment.
When Flying Dutchman referenced Omnicron, I recalled the image of its “family tree”.
I couldn’t think how to explain it without the image, (which I have saved, but no ink).
Your explanation covers this.

Omicron derives directly from the originally detected 2019-20 virus as determined by genome analysis, not from more immediate precursors and contemporary variants like Delta which was not “milder” than what came before.

The image I’ve saved shows Omnicron is as if your great-great-great grandparent suddenly arrived and was also your sibling …. Which is not a clear explanation of what the image shows….

Omicron — the Goldilocks variant, not too harsh but fast enough to outcompete Delta.

Yep.
And this:

…western journal that Omicron came out of west Africa.
Several questions came to mind.
Why am I given access to read this?
[Yep. With the narrative locked down so tight, with info being deleted in real time (one example, for me…. I was reading an abc.news.au item…. It jammed, I refreshed my page, item was gone… your question is pertinent… why did this scrap of info get placed?]
>…”Am I supposed to draw assumptions based on stereotypes and generalizations to construct some predestined narrative?
[yep]
>… “I then wondered, are there empire biolabs in west Africa?
[Probably. An alternative HIV-AIDS theory I read in early 90s (I realise now) involved biolabs in Kinshasa. I didn’t know enough then to understand why that was significant]

Maybe “R2P .. responsibility to protect”
It’d be another use the Rules Based International Order “rules” against them

@143 doug hilman
It is rational to extrapolate from the idea of a secret global cabal that there are certain initiation rites.
Every fraternity on Greek Row in academia have these.
The difference here is that to show allegiance to Satan, you must become a god here on earth by eliminating all taboo. What Dostoevesky meant when he said, “If God did not exist, then anything would be permitted.”
The funny thing is that they must still conceal this pederasty-initiation from the public because of the power implicit in the people, themselves.
That satan is the father of lies is absolutely correct. Satan is always angling to undo souls. There is still no absolute, God-like power at the top. If it were, they would not be forced to live in the shadows and under the threat of the puppetmasters who at any moment could leak horrific acts to the public of these initiates with children.

I looked. An Iranian venting against a violent and bloodthirsty (do not deny it, you will look even more foolish) theocracy and its paramilitary goons. Or was it the Goozineh part? Also you got some good advice there, unless you are already getting “a ride” from “Agha”.
What a shameful spectacle you make of yourself, Goozineh Khanum. You’re not gonna start crying anti-semitism, are you. But for your masters, it has gone beyond shame. The crimes your masters are committing the Iranian Nation will not be forgiven.
Get that “ride”. Learn Spanish. But you plan on hanging around decadent west, fyi we are copying the Jews and the whole Nazi hunting business. And a movie we’re planning, “The Goats of Brazil” — yeah, we’re shamelessly copying — features a plan to clone the evil satanic dna of “Agha” and raise little goats with turbans.
Little goats that think Women are property.
Little goats that think they know God and we don’t.
Little goats that have ruined Iran.
Little goats that we will be hanging with their turbans from every bridge in Iran. (Did you see the student installation in that U in Tehran from the other day? Omens of things to come.)
Now go earn your pay, Mazdoor. “The blood of the innocent cries …”
for?

As a “conspiracy theorist” I am finding it hard to determine whether Musk has really “gone rogue” (from being a tool of the Military Industrial Complex), or if this is all part of the script. It’s sort of like in professional wrestling where the once beloved wrestler suddenly “goes bad”: people are terribly disappointed, but they are also intrigued and the ratings go up.
Could Elon really be fighting with the other billionaires/trillionaires? It seems like it. If he is, I just don’t think he has a chance. They have so many ways to destroy him. Elon might have already done irreparable harm to his Tesla brand (among the Woke).
But Musk’s attempt to restore so many Twitter accounts I take as a positive sign. He says his goals are to protect freedom of speech (Twitter as public square), or else we are heading for civilizational collapse. I agree with that. Freedom of speech needs some powerful supporters. I never thought I would see so many “educated” people calling for censorship.

Huge DNA databases of the most socially active citizens may have been created with the covid tests, and are being used for…. law enforcement, ethnic-specific research, etc etc.
The temptation must have been huge
