There will never be a truce in Ukraine. No negotiations. The West has no plans to negotiate. Their plan is the destruction of Europe, including Russia. They will never stop until someone stops them with overwhelming force. That is why I’m rootin’ for Putin. In the end, the defeat of the Empire will also benefit me. Posted by: Leroy | Nov 5 2022 14:24 utc | 1 We are in the calm before the storm. Between Ukrainian mud and the mid-terms elections coming up next week and the Russians not wanting to do anything that might help Biden, things are at a momentary pause. But don’t let that fool you. Because hell is coming with winter. Washington is insane. When Russia starts to win decisively, the US will escalate. Both sides are now all in on this and the presidential elections are too far away to save anybody. To the ideologically driven psychopaths who are really in charge, Joe Biden is the perfect cover and even more perfect fall guy. We aren’t going to make it to 2024 without some serious pain and most likely World War 3. Posted by: JustAMaverick | Nov 5 2022 14:33 utc | 2 If your “West” wants to destroy Europe, you are probably talking about the U.S. … Posted by: Erast Fandorin | Nov 5 2022 14:35 utc | 3 Russia should start blinding the Five eyes in other locations removed from the Ukraine, employ proxies where needed, Russia has them. Several areas where Russia could stress the beast, plausible deniability not needed, we’re a bit past that shit. Posted by: yoho | Nov 5 2022 14:54 utc | 6 Thousands of Americans like myself chose to live and work in the former Soviet Union. Those in Moscow, Leningrad and Odessa and other smaller communities used to meet once or twice a month socially. Soviet Union had an amazing communal services that were know as Komsomol or the Young Communist league, with an amazing network all across the 11 time zones of the amazing former Soviet Union. Needless to harp upon why so many highly educated scientists, engineers, artists, painters, writers journalists and others chose to leave the USA to make the Soviet Union their home. Posted by: Allan Kaplan | Nov 5 2022 14:55 utc | 7 The US boots on the Ukraine ground inspecting US delivered weapons is preparing a get-out-of-jail report for Biden and his advisors. These “inspectors”working along with Ukrainians will write an all-kosher report, exonerate Ukraine with minor, excusable infractions, minimizing the extent of those already on the global black market weapons. Posted by: KitaySupporter | Nov 5 2022 15:00 utc | 8 If anyone is expecting a GOP-controled Congress to emerge from midterms and team up with pedo puppet to confront the MIC and talk peace with Russia, you really must change expectations for two big reasons. One, the MIC controls enough of the GOP to render it worthless, two the American communists will not willingly give up control of the federal government without a fight. Prospects for peace anytime soon are dim. Posted by: Biggus Dickus | Nov 5 2022 15:01 utc | 9 Russia needs to start instigating coups in Mexico and Canada and install anti American governments and start arming anti American extremist and impose sanctions etc. WATO, western atlantic treaty organization. I think anti American sentiment around the world has reached the tipping point. Posted by: maxim gorki | Nov 5 2022 15:17 utc | 10 Just to generalize, which is always dangerous, the Repubs have been more against China (which they call the Communist Party of China) while the Dems (with its Democratic National Committee) are closer to the Atlantic Council and primarily anti-Russia. The citizens of course — democracy lacking — have no part in any of this. With the birthplace of Orthodoxy which is Greece there is no problem, the leaderships are sold out, and the people have been beaten mercilessly for decades. Maybe they’ll last another month or so. Also note the the “Phoenix Ghost” loitering munitions. Point defense systems with high rate-of-fire and powerful gattling guns must be in demand. Or is that the Ukrainian forces are now so depleted that extreme propaganda is now the order of the day on this conflict because Nato is losing. Posted by: Nobody | Nov 5 2022 19:41 utc | 49 Don Bacon (13): Tanks are powerful weapons on the ground, spearheading offensives and protecting infantry. They have one big problem, though–they can’t shoot down the very aircraft that can blow them apart from the sky. And, that’s Ukraine’s fundamental problem–it has no air force or anti-aircraft systems left. So, we will continue to witness Russia’s slow but devastating war of attrition that is inexorably grinding to its inevitable conclusion–the breakup and pacification of the former nation of Ukraine.
