The goals of the strategy of General Surovikin. Details of new strikes
The commander of the special operation, General of the Army Sergei Surovikin, ordered the destruction of strategically important energy facilities in Ukraine.
The peak occurred on the morning of October 22. The key facilities were the substations “Lutsk – Severnaya” (Volyn region), “Rivne”, “Pobugskaya” (Kirovograd region), “Usatovo” and “Adzhalyk” (Odessa region).
In the Odessa region, a blow was also delivered to the general substation control point, which will complicate the process of restoring power grids in the southern regions of Ukraine. This paralyzes the traffic of trains with military equipment delivered from the central regions to Nikolaev and for distribution to the Kherson front.
The substation “Khmelnitskaya”, which provides power to a number of railway branches and repair and restoration capacities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the western regions of Ukraine, has undergone a critical blow.
The general railway architecture for the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Donbass and Kherson fronts, as well as the activities of the logistics centers here are close to complete collapse.

The best way to preserve sincere, clever and friendly discussion would be to post sincere, clever and friendly comments. People who visit a blog just to spit out their hatred for the blog’s spirit obviously are either embittered nobody’s or paid trolls. People who use any blog just to offload their weird constructs on anything from reptilians to Jews drinking baby blood need mental help but blogs are not psychiatric centres. Probably, the US/UK/UKR propaganda centers use all kind of poor folk: misguided simpletons, old NAZI’s, , broke people clutching at a financial staw, mentally ill hypergraphists…So we find all kind of trolls here, ranging from the vulgarly offensive to the unctuous. Some duo’s even play the good cop-bad cop game. Some use a strategy of posting one seemingly reasonable comment to render their silly other posts more acceptable. It’s worth a study. But it’s a very massive attack all the same and it will require a lot of sound judgment of the real, well-meaning bar frequenters to save their cherished meeting place. This being a kind of bar could be the solution: if you feel inclined to offer someone a drink, he or she probably made an interesting comment and isn’t a troll or another kind of mentally deranged person. So let’s talk over a drink only – if they don’t get a drop, the trolls will have to leave and return to their bottle of vinegar at home…

“In essence, if there is a sellers cartel why not then also a buyers cartel? The EU countries want to have a more diverse supply and not be dependent on single points of failure because they can be blackmailed. It is only rational from an economic perspective, right?”
Wrong! It’s this sort of economic illiteracy that causes problems. A “buyers cartel” in this case would simply a group trying to dictate prices for commodities that it needs to buy in order to survive. Hardly operating from a position of strength.
Price controls always lead to shortages as sellers/producers would rather 1) not supply you than sell at a loss, 2) sell elsewhere where price controls are not present and get a better price or 3) simply not supply you at all for having the cheek to assert price controls.
Russia has already said it will not supply energy to any country that implements price controls (option 3 above). So, there will be zero supply of Russian oil/gas to the EU and the “buyers cartel” will find it’s not able to buy anything because the seller doesn’t want its custom.

🇺🇦Moment of a failed cruise missile intercept by a Ukrainian MiG-29 over the Odessa region: the fighter launches the missile and it goes off target, exploding in mid-air.
You had one job!!!
(comment: amazing this got caught on video, and a bit hilarious)
https://t.me/Slavyangrad/15943
🇺🇦 Ukranian telegram channel:
Against kamikaze UAVs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine use their fighters, which fly out and catch up with the “mopeds”.
The only risk is that in this way the Russians catch Ukrainian planes.
The tactics are simple. They send a drone – a kamikaze, for example, in the Poltava region (there is a military airfield there). At this moment, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine take off to shoot down the “shahid”, and at this moment aviation and air defense are also working from the Russian side, which detects the Ukrainian aircraft and fires several “surprises” at it. As a result, more than 3 aircraft were lost in the Poltava region in a few days.
Aviation is suitable only for work in the depths of the country, and then there is a risk that in western Ukraine, a surprise may arrive from Belarus.
But with X-type missiles or calibers, such a feint does not work.
The Russians also use a mixed launch system, when they release kamikaze UAVs in advance, and after a while missiles of different types.
If the Office of the President does not report damage from a missile attack, this does not mean that it does not exist. This morning a lot of Missiles hits the target, just Bankovaya forbade writing about it. In many cities, the power went out and the residual electric transport stopped.

The operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 near the village of Peremoga, Nikolaev region — Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation
https://t.me/DonbassDevushka/30756
The Russians use drones to lure out remaining UAF fighters from their bases, then they simply shoot them down with longer range AD systems. There are several examples already. “Safe” Interceptions are limited only deep into interior of the country.

We don’t know how much he is allowed to do. Remember that Abramoboy was in the negotiating team in March-April, representing the side of himself. If he doesn’t allow it, no one will dare hit any factory or whatever he owns there.
Belgorod was hit again today, so far 5 wounded. And almost every other day. And Antonovsky bridge. And Kherson convoys but they claim to have shot down all himars this time.

Hah lol hah.
Found an exceptional twitter news account with heaps of good vid of both Russian and Ukrainian vignettes from the war… and around the world …
Couldn’t believe the gold I’d found… spent about 40mins scrolling through….
Suddenly it blanked. I thought it was my end. Refreshed. “This account doesn’t exist”. They killed it in real time as I was scrolling.😱😨🤡🌏 I was going to share here, of course….
>vid of 101st airborne in Romania “ready to roll” into Russia at a moment’s notice…. Vid in a helicopter along Black Sea coast to snake island and Odessa.
> Vid of Shoigu ceremony pinning Hero of Russia medals.
>Vid of a Kaliber launch from Crimea
>Vid of Lithuanian and Polish soldiers on Belarus border in red armbands looking like Russian troops.
>Graphic of the “dingo fence” Finland is building along the Russian border
Hopefully someone can find a parallel account on telegram. It was a bonanza of interesting and topical stuff…

Maybe this new Russian general operating in Ukraine is finally somebody smart enough.
It seems that he realizes that by creating 5-10 mil refugees, that would all go to Germany, Russia can win this war without too much deaths.
Germany should provide shelter, food and electricity to these people.
Posted by: marko | Oct 22 2022 10:32 utc | 209
I don’t wish to criticize you or the general, but it is an obvious thing to attack the logistics arrangements of your opponent(s). I have been inferring that the Russians are in no hurry to end the war by the fact that they have left Kiev logistics chain to function well. And I infer now that they want to move things on. Winter is coming for one thing. And in any case that is what will create the refugees, the fact the the war is about to get a lot more serious and distributed around. The phony war is ending.

Let me introduce some of you to the economic concept of monopsony. It’s where you have one buyer and one seller. (An effective cartel of both will work too). Basically it removes the good from the market mechanism. Price and quantity is agreed between the two entities. And the result for P&Q is determined by the relative power of the parties to the transaction. So does OPEC+ or NATO have most power in the energy market?

Nato (EU, US that is) economies are declining in proportion of total global economy size. That also directly means they are consuming less oil, which also diminishes their ability to dictate the price.
Opec+ simply reduces supply. Russia has contributed a significant amount to these reductions, also due to responding to attempted price caps by Nato.
All this helps the “non-Nato” bloc. Albeit you can argue that Nato economies shrinking will also hurt non-Nato bloc, but such is life. Proportionally Nato loses more.

Western economies were very far based on global dispersion/outsourcing/JIT-JOT deliveries to create a functioning supply chain. All these global based structures are gone.
Yesterday I viewed a video where EU is declaring a “cold war” against China. This will just further disrupt everything in Nato economies. The video analyzes Ursula von der Leyen’s “important speach of the decade” word to word.
The gist of is it that EU will try to compete against China especially in Africa for colonialist control of resources. They are also envisioning that Egypt and Israel produce hydrogen for EU. But if one has time I suggest to watch it.
While Ursula VDL is dreaming and making “historical” speeches, the reality on the ground is the EU economy is already in “tatters” as she herself earlier put it.

@224
true, but I guess you are talking about people in the USA and Western Europe. I don’t feel there is this much of dysphoria in the rest of the world, however much struggles are going on everywhere. It’s the transition from “evident” welfare and dominance to poverty and impotence that determines the mood in the West. A new edition of The Decine and Fall of the Roman Empire. The exasperating thing is that it need not be so, at least not yet. With more idealistic politics we could avoid or soften this downfall. Who plotted our catastrophic dumbing-down and why we let this happen may or mayn’t be the subject of later history books, but for now we are set to repeat the darkest days of the Middle Ages rather than evolve into some dystopian novel society, because the money will lack for a kind of Brave New World. How much of our culture will survive? I last saw a photograph of two ignorant girls with tattoos and blue hair who had thrown filthy stuff over a Van Gogh painting…and thinking they served a good cause too…However, I suggest you keep reading history and philosophy and that you will find comfort in understanding that the wheel of fortune keeps turning, this being the fate of us humans!

🇬🇧🇺🇦💡 Attacks of the Russian Armed Forces on the energy system of Ukraine as of 12.00 October 22, 2022 – Rybar’s analysis
🔻Possible objects of fire destruction
▪️Volyn and Rivne regions
Outages in Rivne and Lutsk can be explained by a blow to the 330 kV outdoor switchgear (OSG) of the Rovno NPP. But we doubt this: most likely, the strikes were made on the substations of the Lutsk-Severnaya 330 kV substation and the Rivne 330 kV substation.
▪️Kirovograd region
Taking into account the fact that power outages were noted in the Golovanevsky and Kropivnitsky districts, the RF Armed Forces could hit the Pobugskaya 330/110 kV substation (two 330/110 kV autotransformers and one 150/35 kV transformer).
▪️Odessa region
Judging by the picture of the power outage, the RF Armed Forces hit the Usatovo substation. The blow hit the general substation control point (OPU), since the open switchgear (OSG) is functioning. There are three 330/110kV autotransformers at the substation, most likely one of them was damaged.
Despite the blackouts in the Podolsk region, we were unable to confirm the defeat of the Podolskaya 330kV substation. Because then the picture of energy distribution would be different.
Behind the loss of electricity in the South, there is a blow to the 330/110 kV Ajalyk substation. Where exactly they got hit, it is impossible to understand without additional information. The hit is indirectly confirmed and explained by increased flows from Romania.
The outage in Mayaki indicates a probable strike on the Novoodesskaya 330/110 kV substation. The situation is similar with the Usatovo substation: if there was a blow, then it was not on the control room, but on one of the two autotransformers. The 330 kV outdoor switchgear is in operation.
▪️Khmelnitsky region
Repeated blow to the substation Khmelnitskaya 330/110 kV.

Posted by: Down South | Oct 22 2022 11:54 utc | 227

🇬🇧🇺🇦💡🛤
Only initially they (air strikes) worked carefully and pointwise, smashing autotransformers into trash (these are essential resources, with complicated modules, it takes 7-10 months to produce replacements). Yes, backup schemes are being activated, but gradually the power system is peddling.
But we believe that very soon strikes will begin to be made on boilers and general substation control points (OCP) of substations. Restoring the substation after that is another Sisyphean task.
Such an approach will not only destroy the substations, but will also make it possible to disable the electrified railways in western Ukraine as well. In this case, the delivery of weapons and equipment will be carried out by diesel locomotives.

According to the message, the inhabitants of Kherson and all the institutions of the administration “should cross today to the left bank of the Dnieper.”
Deputy head of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov told how the evacuation of residents is progressing: “About 25 thousand have already moved to the left bank. We are not forcing anyone, we are not forcibly dragging anyone anywhere. There is some part of the “waiters”, they are waiting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But I think they will only wait for the shelling carried by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
Stremousov added that “We are ready to defend the city of Kherson.”

Dear Marco, Zanon etc.
Ukraine has an unlimited supply of MONEY not resources vital for running a war.
“Money” is useless in a war zone unless it can be converted into fuel, food, ammo or information. Yes you can burn it to keep warm, use it to wipe you ass and it tastes decent with peanut butter (preferably not the same bills you wipe your ass with) but it takes an awful lot of bills to stop an ATGM round.
On top of that an announcement of “money” to Ukraine doesn’t mean Ukrainians get a nickle. What it means is Ukrainians get hand me down weapons from NATO stocks, US contractors get paid to train/man said equipment and US arms manufacturers get money to build replacements over time.
Yes Ukraine is able to strike Russian territory however Russia is able to strike the entire of Ukraine whenever it wants with missiles. Ukraine can lob shells and missiles 100 km into Russian territory at best … look at a map … Russia extends another 5000 km to the east.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS: Just a whole bunch of elite American troops playing WAR GAMES close to border with Ukraine in Romania, but not to worry as NATO’s not looking to fight Russia head-on, right? Well, it turns out US Army 101st Airborne Division’s commanders are actually STRAINING AT THEIR LEASHES, saying they will NOT HESISTATE to get out of Romania and jump FEET-FIRST into Ukraine if CONFLICT arises between Russia and NATO, and they’ve already been watching Russian-led troops closely and making drills to “REPLICATE” Ukraine conflict.
We can only hope LEASHES on US forces are tightly-held by Washington, or we could see over-eager American commanders rush in and cause ALL-OUT WAR just because they’re EAGER to get some action.

The word as now used has taken on dimension & meaning entirely divorced from such chitchat, and that you, your country, your EU, is subservient to/subsumed into a modern structure of universal pervasive propaganda and oppression which regulates all aspects of life and thought, bar those produced by dissident activity at the extremes of poverty or deprivation
Your failure to have any notion of the self serving processes by which you contribute to the status quo, of which you suppose others may take you for an opponent by your expressions of support for the RF, only confirms this – you are blind, but willingly so, you have blinded yourself for the convenience of accredited status and to not suffer the inconvenice of having to examine the comforts of your class, purpose and prejudice
The RF would call such as you a traitor, the Chinese a running dog, the Africans a ‘vendu’

When you see “Romanian army” or “Bulgarian army” just laugh. There is no “army”. Nato yearly training ends with vehicles stuck in mud and F-16 that lose fuel storage tanks form the air. Yes, these are true events. Very old Migs often fall from the sky too. The US army itself flew over capital city and one of the blackhawk helicopters simply fell in the middle of a high traffic road. The pilot was good enough not to kill anyone though. It took a day to disassemble the blades, destroyed by hitting trees and stuff, and drag the helicopter on its little wheels out of the city.
They can be cannon fodder, that is true. For about 2-4 weeks until they’re all dead. The only reason Romania is in nato is because of the missile base. They exist just to shoot a few missiles towards Russia until they’re all dead.

I understand that you think

If that is correct, your reply is disingenuous. But obviously, claiming to be a mind reader is not credible.

I understand that you think you can define trolls according to an obselete middlebrow knowledge of a culture/tradition sliver, and which you feel gives you dispensation, when it has nothing to do with the current all enveloping word and context, one which defines every structure of your life

Well you insist on claiming you can read my mind and I told you before that your reading is entirely wrong, and totally your own creation. I am guessing you are projecting.

And which attempt at dispensation blinds you to your PMC prejudices and propaganda, and to your status as valet to the ruling class

I have no idea what this is about, it has nothing to do with me or what I said. You are just commenting on your own perceptions.
To help resolve your confusion, I was commenting (Oct 22 2022 6:39 utc | 170) on the issue of trolls by referring to trolls in a Norwegian fairy tale because it perfectly illustrates an important aspect of trolls in thread like this. In the fairy tale the leading troll is the only one with an eye to see, the rest are just blind followers. This is exactly the issue with trolls on a thread like this. The “vision” of the lead troll is issued to the blind followers here so they can act on it, and nothing else.
But of course you knew that.

I wonder what the narrative will be after that? Solovikin seems to understand the sad reality that Ukraine must be wrecked as no negotiation is possible. EU will be buried in refugees.

Those are around 1k or 1k5 spread all over Eastern Europe. In theory they’re simple propaganda. Their life expectancy in a war is less than a week but in theory Russia should be at least at Donbass borders after 8 months. So theory and practice are very different if you add Russian politicians and generals to the formula.
US troops in EE are also to control local slave government. In case of war, nato troops will sit and watch, send Romanian and other retards to die like they do with Ukr retards in Ukr.

For history books and not only, data from reliable sources that do not mind additional verification.
The irretrievable losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 10:00 on October 20, 2022 amounted to 402,000 people, of which 387,000 were killed.
Losses among mercenaries and volunteers from Poland, the Baltic states, and Romania amounted to 54,000 of which 31,240 were killed.
Data from ambulance radio frequencies, via Starlink satellite modems, reports from funeral agencies and extracts from mortuaries and mobile crematoria to Zelensky’s headquarters.
Priority for hospital treatment and transportation to medical facilities in Moldova, Romania and Poland is given to PMC fighters and senior officers who have been retrained in the UK and France.
Residents of the central and eastern regions of Ukraine, mainly with Russian roots, bear the greatest losses.
The electorate of the Party of Regions.
The Western regions and the people of Kiev adhere to the deep rear or in the TPO in the west of the country. The official APU suffered 16,500 people and 48,000 missing, considered deserters or violators of orders.
The Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers of Ukraine prepared more than 320,000 appeals about the fate of the missing fighters from among the mobilized, but the SBU forbade them to be transferred to the military prosecutor’s office.

https://t.me/obrazbuduschego2/11686
That sounds more believable considering that a huge proportion of total casualties are left unreported. Throughout the war UAF just let their soldiers in the field reported as missing or unknown, and refusing burial.
Ukraine does not need to pay any support for families whose loved ones are “missing”, and their commanders can “withhold” wages.

❗️The aggravation of the situation in the Kremennaya area.
The enemy is trying with all his might to reach Chervonopopovka and Zhitlovka from the side of Tern. Acting with forces of up to two battalions, which are reinforced by the remnants of the tank company of the formation of the regime, they do not abandon attempts to bypass Kremennaya to the north. Despite the loss in armored vehicles and manpower, the enemy does not abandon attempts to break through the defense line of the Russian Army. There is information that officers from NATO countries are taking part in the planning and implementation of the plan at Kremennaya.

No they are more or less unlimited in arms supply from US, EU, Nato. Russia however is running low on both (arms and money) and will reach the pit before Ukraine does, that is why it should have been obvious for Russia, from the start, to make a quick win in this war. They have not been able to do that.

Posted by: Zanon | Oct 22 2022 19:14 utc | 257

Scholtz says Germany doesn’t have enough money for arms production. UK Tories can’t find themselves a leader. Meloni wins in Italy. Macron doesn’t have a parliamentary majority. Spain and Portugal would be quite happy to stay out of the Ukr-game. Poland is just hot air. The other countries of the EU are small, militarily (and politically) weak and useless. The 3 Baltic countries, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will fold, if even just Belarus attacks them.
The US/NATO is pretty brave to fight the sandal-clad goat herders, but even they kick the US/NATO arse. In Europe, US/NATO is using the Ukraine as a cat’s paw. Lot of hot air.

EU will soon crack through Target 2 balance and ECB recognized as failed, permanently large current account deficit and end of free money for peripheral countries. This started from most, of the best, export businesses going into hibernation or bust, through a combination of reasons varying from energy policies and self-sustaining aggregate demand problems through employment, poverty etc.
The only way to “save” EU is to turn it into 110 % control economy, controlled by the Euro commission. That is what Ursula VDL is trying to do. I have my doubts that even half of these peripheral participants will go along with that.
Poland has earlier already purposefully sown discord in an effort to dismantle the euro zone, that’s what I think will happen.

To get the project started, UT Austin acquired a Starlink terminal and used it to stream high-definition tennis videos of Rafael Nadal from YouTube. This provided a constant source of Starlink signals that a separate nearby antenna could listen in on.
Humphreys quickly realized that Starlink relies on a technology called orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM). OFDM is an efficient method of encoding digital transmissions, originally developed at Bell Labs in the 1960s and now used in Wi-Fi and 5G. “OFDM is all the rage,” says Mark Psiaki, a GPS expert and aerospace professor at Virginia Tech. “It’s a way to pack the most bits per second into a given bandwidth.”
The UT Austin researchers did not try to break Starlink’s encryption or access any user data coming down from satellites. Instead, they sought out synchronization sequences—predictable, repeating signals beamed down by the satellites in orbit to help receivers coordinate with them. Not only did Humphreys find such sequences, but “we were pleasantly surprised to find that they [had] more synchronization sequences than is strictly required,” he says.
Each sequence also contains clues to the satellite’s distance and velocity. With the Starlink satellites transmitting about four sequences every millisecond “that’s just wonderful for dual use of their system for positioning,” says Humphreys.
If the terrestrial receiver has a good idea of the satellites’ movements—which SpaceX shares online to reduce the risk of orbital collisions—it can use the sequences’ regularity to work out which satellite they came from, and then calculate the distance to that satellite. By repeating this process for multiple satellites, a receiver can locate itself to within about 30 meters, says Humphreys.

Starlink signals can be reverse-engineered to work like GPS—whether SpaceX likes it or not

Saturday started productively in Ukraine. From arrivals, not even individual “Gerans”, but entire “bouquets” of them. In the cities and regions of Ukraine, an air raid alert was first announced, after the productive work of the drones. Then the air raid signals stopped transmitting because the electricity was gone. In Odessa, for example, electricity went out so abruptly and unexpectedly that trams stopped right on their routes. In most parts of the Ukraine, passenger trains stopped.
Russia hit the Ukrainian energy system on a very large scale.
Due to damage, there are planned blackouts in Kyiv city and suburbs and in the oblasts of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkov, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kirovohrad regions.
The Ukrainian government is already trying to somehow mask what is happening, stating that they are “planned shutdowns”.
The Office of the President of Ukraine, of course, will certainly report on dozens, if not hundreds, of downed Russian drones and missiles. No evidence, as usual, will not be presented. There are already enough fresh videos on the Web, how an Ukrainian fighter launches an air-to-air missile, and it explodes not far from the plane, and the Ukrainian side has already called it the destruction of Russian missiles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine urges to take their word for it, saying that in the morning the Russian Armed Forces fired 33 missiles, of which the Ukrainian side managed to shoot down 18. Well, then who destroyed the Ukrainian energy facilities? They themselves?
By the way, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal demanded that Germany urgently supply missiles for IRIS-T air defense to Kyiv and said that “literally days are counting.” He threatened that if this demand is not met, then Europe will be covered with such a “migration tsunami” from Ukraine that the flow of refugees will seem like children’s toys. Ukrainians, deprived of light, water and heating, will pour into Europe in a stormy stream.

Russia is making its plans, moving all the new troops into position and will make a major strike when it is ready. It will have maximum political impact for Russia if that occurs just before the US mid-term elections, as it is likely to destroy what little credibility Biden and his administration has left.
A side effect will be to shape the political stance of the new administration in UK too.

Dear Marko etc.
First has the geography of western Europe magically changed the last 100 years?
In 1941 Germany had to invade Russia to find the food, mineral and energy resources to survive as a first world economy … has western Europe suddenly struck oil, found farmland and opened mines since the end of WW2?
You seem to think that spreadsheet entries with lots of zeros and paper bills can be magically converted into weapons … money represents wealth but until it’s turned into something usable it’s just a spreadsheet entry or a pile of paper.
How much do you think the French or Germans are willing to suffer for Ukraine? It takes energy to make rocket fuel and explosives … do you believe they will sacrifice energy for home heating to produce weapons for Ukraine? Do you think they’ll use scarce fertilizer to make explosives or to grow food?
Sure Europe has a lot more people than Russia but are they really willing to fight and die for Ukraine? It’s one thing to sport blue and yellow flags and make pithy patriotic twitter posts but something else to suit up and go man a trench in WW1 conditions on the Russian steppe.

Answer me this: Who are the primary owners of the “Federal” Reserve Bank”, an entity which is in total operative control of America’s money system?
Hint: The ownership circle is comprised of 8 crime clans, seven of them sporting a single ethnicity. The background ethnicity of the 8th, an American entity, is open to question and much debated.

Okay, name them and identify the mechanism by which they exercise control. Otherwise it is idle speculation. The Federal Reserve is owned by the 12 regional feds, which are in turn owned by their member banks (approx 3000). The President nominates all 7 Board Members who go through a normal Senate confirmation process. The Regional Feds boards are nominated and voted by their members.

Judging by the video published from the field, one of today’s strikes hit the 330/155/15 kV Kvartsit substation in the Kirovograd region.
The nature of today’s strikes suggests that the plan is to break the 330kV energy ring around the Rovno NPP. Kiev continues to be supplied through the 750kV line, but the western regions of Ukraine, in the event of a successful shutdown of substations, will be kept only on the generation of thermal power plants.
The exact coordinates of the disabled autotransformer: 48.106304, 32.650836
And this amount of energy is not enough to ensure the functioning of the entire railway network in the west of the country. This is indirectly confirmed by the forced transition of Ukrainian railways to diesel locomotives.
There is less diesel locomotive, lower power (for example, it will be possible to forget about the transfer of equipment through the Carpathians for a while), and most importantly, diesel locomotives need a lot of fuel.
Which Ukrainians buy in Europe at an inflated price from Western partners. And those, in turn, buy it in Russia through the “laying” companies. This is the economics of war.

The bad news is that the Russian Federation is producing new high-precision weapons of various types, and as it accumulates, it delivers new strikes. That is, the cessation of attacks due to the full consumption of missiles will not happen. Unfortunately, the enemy was preparing for war for a long time, and that is why he ensured a closed cycle for the production of shells, missiles and mines.”

Why the Ukrainian power system has not been destroyed, but only partially disrupted?
The main backbone, the backbone network with a voltage of 750 kV, continues to function quietly.
The backbone is concentrated in central and western Ukraine. This was done purposefully back in Soviet times, since the entire 750 kV network was created for the transportation of electricity from the nuclear power plants of the former Ukraine SSR to the MIR energy system (the unified energy system of the European COMECON member countries).
Recall that the power systems of the former Ukraine SSR, Bulgaria, Hungary, GDR, Poland, Romania and Czechoslovakia were controlled from the “Central Dispatch Control” of the MIR power system located in Prague.
There is still excessive generation of electricity in the western and central parts of Ukraine, which is transported to Europe via the 750 kV network (this network is highlighted with a bold red line on the map).
If the 750 kV network, together with substations (red triangles on map), is decommissioned by our missile strikes or kamikaze drone attacks, this will not only destroy the Ukrainian power system, but also completely nullify even the theoretical possibility of selling Ukrainian electricity to Western countries, since without the 750 kV network, Ukrainie will be forced to put nuclear power reactors into “cold” mode.
That’s when a complete collapse of energy, transport and communications can really occur in Ukraine.
Why is Russia not yet striking at the 750 kV voltage backbone network?
There is an assumption that information has been brought to Kiev, Washington and London through unofficial channels that strikes will not be carried out on the backbone network yet, but if the Kiev regime tries to blow up the Kakhovka dam, then the retaliation will completely plunge Ukraine into the Stone Age.

All the TG channels are reporting the same thing. Something big is about to go down.

‼️ 🇺🇦 The authorities of Nikolaev urged residents to leave the city and not return until the end of active hostilities.
The statement of Gauleiter(governor) Senkevich says about the destruction of infrastructure, the absence of which will prevent them from living a normal life. And also about the danger of losing lives. “I continue to tell all people who are not involved in the management of critical infrastructure to leave the city before the end of the active phase of hostilities in our state,” he said.
All this is happening against the background of the evacuation of the population of Kherson. Something’s going to happen soon…It looks calm before the storm…

🛩🇷🇺🇺🇦 Turkish UAVs in Ukraine: how reputational costs overshadowed financial profits
A few days ago, the revelations of the head of the Association of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine Sergey Pashinsky about the widely publicized Bayraktar TB2 drones appeared on the network.
In an interview with Russian pranksters, he voiced that Turkish drones “are not miracle weapons” and added that almost all of them were lost in just a week of hostilities.
Pashinsky’s words again raised the issue of the ineffectiveness of Turkish attack UAVs during the SMO. And he did not appear out of nowhere:
🔻For less than 8 months, the Bayraktar TB2 combat work personnel can be counted almost on the fingers. This is negligible compared to the conflicts in Karabakh, Syria and Libya with dozens of videos of accurate strikes on armored vehicles and air defense systems.
🔻There are dozens of photos of downed Turkish UAVs on the net. The @lostarmour team was able to identify 15 destroyed drones. The list includes only devices that fell on the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation: due to censorship, Ukrainian resources do not publish data on drones struck in areas occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
🔻Already after the start of hostilities, dozens of Bayraktar TB2s were delivered to Ukraine, which theoretically should have made up for the loss of devices. However, the intensity of their sorties remained low relative to other conflicts involving Turkish drones.
🔻The use of the Bayraktar TB2 was also hampered by technical problems, such as the rapid wear of the landing gear due to the poor quality of the runways of Ukrainian airfields. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to conserve the resource of devices and further limit their use.
So is Bayraktar TB2 completely useless? No: under certain conditions, this is a completely formidable weapon that can effectively solve problems on the battlefield.
▪️The Turkish UAV is equipped with a high-resolution Canadian camera that provides a clear image of objects at a distance of more than 40 km. This allows the drone to be used for reconnaissance and target designation without entering the coverage area of Russian medium-range and short-range air defense systems.
▪️In conditions of suppressed or insufficient air defense, Turkish drones can also be used in a strike version. In May, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used UAVs to attack the garrison of Zmeiny Island, where there are only a couple of air defense systems, and it could stand without ammunition for a long time, waiting for missile supplies from the mainland.
❗️ In the absence of a threat from the ground, Bayraktar TB2 can leave the enemy without artillery, supplies and armored vehicles, as was the case in Karabakh or Libya. But the course of the SVO showed: in the conditions of layered air defense and the absence of air supremacy, they become a tasty target for fighters and anti-aircraft missile systems.
The fighting in Ukraine was supposed to emphasize the superiority of the Bayraktar TB2, but in the end it only spoiled the reputation of the drones. And they also finally broke the halo of the “wunderwaffe”, which the media had been intensively creating for them for years.
And if the export of shock UAVs to other countries gave dividends to the Turkish military-industrial complex, then deliveries to Ukraine brought them only anti-advertising. The costs turned out to be much greater than the profits.

The thieves in Russia and “Ukraine”: the denazification should have started 8 years ago, in Moscow itself: it is expressed in various shades of russian dark, brilliant eussuan humor, amid the growing wave of anger inside russia, against the traitorous elites (banksters, billionaires, top kremlin bureaucrats, fat “peacetime” generals and others shades of thieves).
Here the banking-zionist segment is examplified by this son of transnational billionaire whose only allegiance goes to Mamon. Russophobia, open treachery in times of war, love for NATO nazism: it is all there. The banking “reliable partners” of the kremlin can do and say anything, and their banking operations in Russia are untouched, of course. In China, or even besieged Iran, those people have long been kept in submission or dealt with. https://t.me/SergeyKolyasnikov/43638
While Russia could have prepared since ar least 2008, for the coming existential war, its elite prefered doubling down on internal pillage, energy “diplomacy” and soft war against Donbass resistance (Nato did prepare, banderists did prepare, Iran would not have survived since 1979, China would have been recolonized a long time ago, with the russian level of self-sabotage displayed by its capitalist elites)
The great positive news: Russia still has great military officers, great engineers (badly underpaid and limited by the deindustrialization accelerated under VVP), a very good scientic education, decent leftovers from the soviet military hardware and an amazing, deeply patriotic people that knows what war needs from them, against external enemies first. But pity the internal enemies when this war ends, they might have to run fast, or enjoy productive vacations in the far east.
https://t.me/pgubarev/542
The first sign of self-sabotage of the “SMO”, that even naive westerners fed the unicorns of some ex-russian bloggers, con-artists, was the political orders given to stop the destruction of nazi/NATO air defenses.
https://t.me/blackcolonel2020/502
It ensured an endless, ressource draining, positional war, it guaranteed the defeat of any and all political objectives and initiatives on the russian side. It is a receip for disaster inside russia itself, it will also bring chaos on the southern front, from Kavkaz to the “stans”, as the hyenas smelled blood. Hopefully internal patriotic and social anger, plus Chinese leaders pressure (they cannot loose russia) will force VVP’s to renounce to this game of kabuki and poker.
There is no 56d chess played out there, sorry guys. Just good old imperialism, classwar, inverted totalitarianism reigning supreme inside the elites of Dc, Moscow or Warsaw. No hopium-copium to sell for the butthurt.

… over-eager American commanders rush in and cause ALL-OUT WAR just because they’re EAGER to get some action.

For the first time in their lives US marines will know what is like to be under bombardment by modern artillery and face a peer military that wants them dead.
I certainly hope they have mastered the art of hiding thousands of body bags …

Opinion:
What to do with Shebekino? Transfer the city to a state of siege. Prepare for defense. Evacuate people. Keep reserves ready. The situation continues to escalate.
Heavy equipment is being accumulated in Volchansk. In the area of Sereda-Murom, the situation is also dangerous. No need to be surprised at any actions of the ukrov, you need to respond to any situation. We believe that the Ukrainians have very ambitious plans.
And stop any panic moods. On the contrary, if ukry rypnutsya – this is a great opportunity to inflict serious damage on them.

Those himars surely can’t teleport, shoot and teleport back. Taking hits daily isn’t normal.
But the news is true, they plant those little concrete pyramids at the border. So instead of targeting the attackers, they prepare for invading tanks
