Martina, thanks I had forgoton about the stolen assets. Posted by: JohninMK | Sep 30 2022 11:53 utc | 301 Questioning balance of power thinking, the Flemish branch of peace movement Pax Christi argues for full spectrum security rather than the current individual model of alliances of selected nations which exclude “unwanted” members. Referring to events in Ukraine, in its “Manifest for Peace” it launched early September, it denounces NATO’s continued existence since the fall of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. Posted by: Paul-Robert | Sep 30 2022 11:55 utc | 302 The European Union came up with this cooperation in the most spectacular fashion proving the “cosmic stupidity” of its “elites”. I can’t confirm, but that is exactly what would happen in an impending encirclement and fall of Lyman. And at the suitable moment will “take the gloves off”. Every Ukrainian advance is actually walking into a carefully laid trap, Battle of the Bulge 2.0, the result of coked-out Zelensky rejecting American advisers’ pleas and then later we learn about a pre-planned and orderly Russian withdrawal and all the men and materiel left behind were just scrap (but how did it get into that state?) and LDNR fighters (it doesn’t count if a bunch of catspaws are killed and captured – not real Russians). False. the opposite is true.
There has been no Russian military reverses. In fact, the opposite has happened. Four regions of Ukraine have just today been added to Russia, and they’re never going back. Been a long time.. Just watched the signing ceremonies of the 4 republics into Russia.. Posted by: R | Sep 30 2022 13:10 utc | 337 Sorry, a link has crept into the previous comment by mistake.. Posted by: R | Sep 30 2022 13:11 utc | 338 According to some sources, Ukraine also removed forces from Severodonetsk front to throw towards Lyman. One figure I’ve seen was citing 40k troops in the area. Seems like the majority of current offensive punch. Offensives in Kherson are weak. Ugledar is stationary (this was were there were supposed to launch an offensive to either Mariupol/Mariupol-Donbass highway or Melitopol). Now reinforcements are going to the Lyman front. Lets see what happens. Posted by: unimperator | Sep 30 2022 13:18 utc | 340 https://t.me/war_subtitled_en/713 Posted by: Melaleuca | Sep 30 2022 13:23 utc | 341 @unimperator #368,
One side lacking air superiority does not imply that the other side has it. Theater-wide there is rough air parity in Ukraine. MANPADS proves the point: they have a limited ceiling and would not pose a threat to anything besides helicopters to a belligerent possessing air superiority. Fighter-bombers and strategic bombers would simply fly at an altitude MANPADS can’t reach. Instead, both sides are operating at treetop altitude – because both sides have effective short/medium/long range air defenses operating. While the term “mass formation psychosis” was popularized by Dr Robert Malone during the Covid-19 crisis, it was more commonly called the “madness of crowds” before. Note that the the crisis, largely manufactured by the media and government, was observably distinct from the pandemic. https://t.me/IntelRepublic/5984 Posted by: Down South | Sep 30 2022 14:11 utc | 360 I think after today the RF will need to prepare for a full scale and open war with Ukraine. It will be interesting to see how Nato reacts to that if and when it happens. If Nato is prepared to use international terrorism in blowing up the Russian gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea, I see no reason why it wouldn’t resort to attacking Belarus or Kaliningrad’s power/energy sources, things are going to get very dirty indeed. So why are you arguing? The evidence is pretty clear, the USS Kearsarge was a few KM from the “explosion” sites. I’ll wait for a better translation than the English captions on the screen, but my initial thoughts were that Putin himself is deeply riled, and I suspect that is not a good outcome for the world given his history of being coldly calculating. Secondly, my impression was that many in his audience were uncomfortable. I fully believe that Russia will go all the way to achieving its aim of long term security, or are prepared for the alternative of global war, but the decision-makers listening to Putin fully understand the dire position they have been placed in.
