RT reports a hilarious tragicomedy today. Two Ukrainian women were assaulted on a beach in France. They told the cops that their attacker was Russian. Cops arrest the guy, who turns out to be former Ukrainian military, not Russian, and who tells them he ‘slapped’ the women because he thought they were Russian.

Thanks to cardboard generals, Zely invited foreign media in Izyum to show how they’ve “discovered” a mass grave in the “liberated” city. Bucha 2 starts tomorrow.
Also 5 missiles fell on the center of Kherson today, multiple dead and wounded.

I have been wondering about Russia’s operation in the Ukraine theatre and the seemingly lack of intelligence, despite Russia’s obvious assets.
It makes me wonder whether NATO is running a diversionary front in Ukraine to occupy Russian intelligence assets while the US slowly builds up forces in a clandestine manner elsewhere.
Russia’s minimist approach obviously shows they know what’s going on. The Armenian situation shows that the US is planning a multi front campaign.
Dejan Beric gave an interesting update on the front in Ukraine and stressed that the upper command was very intent on minimising Russian casualties.

Earlier in the spring the regime media ok’d all the thousands of civilian deaths and said it’s ok to set up firing points in apartment blocks and artillery amidst them. It was in conjunction with the Amnesty International report accusing ukrainians, which was revised anyway. Nothing new here. The regime media whitewashes war crimes and crimes against humanity.

While the “counter-attack” happened, the comments section exploded to 500 to 600+ posts. Now as the countar-attack stalls and is bound to be reversed, as any objective onlooker would have forecast, we are back to the norm of 200 to 300+ comments. “Interesting” …

America (NATO) is doing what they are doing best: terror over civilians. every american intervention is nothing else but terror over civilian population and civilian infrastructure. we’ve seen it again in ukraine, forget about counteroffensive, ukro army 99% of time and weapons are using for terrorizing civilians. and russia knew everything and do nothing. today kherson, and lugansk as well, some HQ were hit. to makes things worse, famous SCO is a joke, members of this organization are killing each other left and right? russia is not ready for this world. this is running by mafia, and you know how mafia operates and gain respect. by eliminating anything that stood up against it. if you are not ready to use the same tactics, better kiss the masters ring and shut up. and over and over i heard the same thing: what will western media report about this or that civilian casualties. how about they don’t care?

Zelenskys recent reference to Russian POW’s as ‘Orcs’ and his promise to display their corpses in the workshops of the Thermal Power Plants betrays his racial ideology of hate and pursuit of a National policy to derogate Russians as Untermeshcen. This ultra nationalism has since 2014 fomented and legitimised acts of genocide against Russian speaking populations in the Donbass and Eastern Ukraine including the torture and killing of Russian POW’s. Needless to say, Zelensky’s CIA/Mi6 handlers won’t complain since Neo Nazis are the shock troops of NATO’s Ukranian Military for killing Russians and genocide is their tradecraft practised lest we forget by NATO’s proxies in Syria ISIS and AL Queda.

Message from yesterday…WHERE WILL YOU STAND TONIGHT?

However, the “angry patriots” cause headaches. Therefore, the recent situation around Bakhmut in Donetsk is of particular importance. Bakhmut is undoubtedly the linchpin of the entire fortress that Kyiv has built in the Donbass over the past 8 years. It is a strategic communications hub with roads in many directions – Lysychansk, Horlivka, Kostiantynivka and Kramatorsk – and control of the city is crucial to gain full dominance over Donetsk Oblast.
Russian troops and allied militias have been attempting to penetrate Ukrainian defenses in the direction of Bakhmut-Soledar since August 3, but with limited success. Now reports are coming in that the Russians have entered the town of Bakhmut and taken control of the industrial area in the north-eastern parts.
Some reports state that the Russian military companies known as the Wagner Group were deployed at Bakhmut. These are highly qualified ex-military personnel.
The stakes are extraordinarily high. For Kyiv, the entire logistics of operations in Donetsk could go haywire if it loses control of Bakhmut. As for the Russians, the breakthrough towards Bakhmut-Soledar will clear the main hurdle for the decisive offensive towards the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk axis in the west, the last concentration of Ukrainian forces in Donetsk. Bakhmut is only 50 km away from Slavyansk-Kramatorsk.

Armenia and Azerbaijan are claiming about 130-200 Armenian soldiers dead (Azerbaijan which unconvincingly claims it is the victim of “Armenian aggression”, says 75 dead Azeri soldiers) in last 3 days, the one month war in 2020 saw 3800 Armenian casualties, 2900 Azeri. Azeris are claiming they destroyed two S-300 systems in Armenia.
Azeris have shelled even compounds and infrastructure used by Russian peacekeepers. No casualties so far but plenty of pictures on Twitter of damaged buildings and equipment.
Armenia has asked for Russian assistance against Azerbaijan as per CSTO, Putin said no.
Azeris seem inspired by Erdogan and his similarly unconvincing talk of “Greek aggression” and pledges to take Greek territory in a bid to get away with abusing Greek and Cypriot EEZs in hydrocarbon extraction. Both countries have a psychopathic ‘conqueror mentality’ and see it as their destiny to finally expand indefinitely at the expense of the Greeks and Armenians. The famous “Stop the lockdowns, start the war!” chants in Baku and mass protests by Turks in Paris and Germany in support of the last war are telling.
Azeris must know that despite official US condemnation that should the Russians get involved the Turks and probably US would gladly help them fight the Russians. It’s likely the recent Ukrainian breakthrough and threat of an escalation or at least lengthening of the war is what prompted the Azeris to attack and set up new ‘facts on the ground’ and get better recognition to their gains during the similar incidents in 2021. But maybe knowing the Russians can’t intervene (Risking getting bogged down in a second proxy war) they will go farther this time.
There will, of course, be no recognition of the Turkish and Azeri aggression being the natural result to removing Russia’s stabilising influence through this proxy war.

Comment in Germany 09/16/22
.
The “Miracle of Kharkiv”: Turning Point in the War?
A comment by Wolfgang Effenberger.
There is no doubt that a month ago no one would have expected Ukraine to gain territory in the south-east near Cherson and in the north-east around Kharkiv. President Zelenskyi announced the major offensive weeks ago and predicted the turning point in the war for September. Western media celebrate the Ukrainian blitzkrieg and see the Russian troops on the run and Russian elite tank formations severely decimated. Selenskyi’s trick worked: To ward off the Ukrainian offensive in the Cherson area, Putin thinned out the troops near Kharkiv for regrouping: loosely based on the Chinese stratagem “Make noise in the east, attack in the west” (attributed to General Tan Daoji († 436))1) . A mock attack is intended to get the enemy to reinforce their troops there and withdraw resources from the point where the attack actually takes place. It can be assumed that Putin is aware of all 36 stratagems of Daoji. Also, air and satellite reconnaissance should not have missed the approach of several Ukrainian armored brigades.
Given the incessant propaganda orchestration – on both sides – it is impossible to make a proper analysis of the military situation. The only thing that seems certain is that it will be a long war at the expense of the population. In the now more than 200 days of war, Ukraine has become increasingly militarized while at the same time increasing Russophobic hysteria. In the wake of the advancing Ukrainian troops, the feared Ukrainian domestic secret service SBU (Sluschba bespeky Ukrajiny) – successor organization to the KGB of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic – begins its bloody work: torture, mutilation and mass killings are part of the SBU’s standard procedure.2) It can be assumed that all who collaborated with the Russians will at best be brought to justice, at worst simply shot as traitors. Under these conditions, which Ukrainian will openly want to help the Russian army in the future? Not having protected the pro-Russian population in these now Ukrainian areas will be a heavy burden for further Russian action.
Human suffering was not even a side issue for BILD am SONNTAG on September 11, 2022, instead the focus was on victory: “The Ukrainian army proved in an almost unbelievable show of force: They can win this war!”3) So this war can be won by Ukraine, BILD advises the German government accordingly:
She “should admit her mistakes in the hesitant delivery of weapons and give Ukraine what it still needs for a successful counteroffensive: tanks, artillery, ammunition. And fast!“
Referring to the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who had arrived in Kyiv the day before, her statement made in early summer: “Ukraine must win this war” was quoted as saying:
“Then she has to finally do everything for it.”
Before such demands are made, a ruthless look at the legal constitution of the Federal Republic should be thrown. Since Germany still does not have a real peace treaty, Putin could declare the FRG an aggressor for supplying heavy weapons in a war conflict that continues the old 1945 war. Should NATO then rush to Germany’s aid, a full-scale nuclear war would probably be unavoidable.
Sandra Maischberger’s talk show on September 13, 2022 focused on the Ukrainian armed forces’ enormous gains in territory. The guests Andriy Melnyk, former ambassador of Ukraine in Berlin, Carlo Masala, professor at the Bundeswehr University in Munich, and Stephan Stuchlik, ARD capital correspondent, gave answers to the questions: Is the “Miracle of Kharkiv” already the turning point in the war? Does Ukraine now need more weapons from the West?
In view of the demand to supply even more heavy weapons such as the Leopard tank, Stuchlik recognized the “elephant in the room” when asked whether Germany was already a party to the war or when it would become so. No one would be debating this big question right now, nor the threat of escalation and nuclear war.
“I have great concerns that the argumentation of the federal government, as it is going at the moment – which focuses on small things, offensive weapons, the weakening of NATO’s eastern flank and possibly ‘we do nothing before the others do’, can be sustained for a long time “, he said. “One must talk about the big topic and not about small things – the danger of a third world war”4).
During the night of Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Azerbaijan surprisingly attacked places in Armenia with artillery, use of threats…and large caliber ammunition. A renewed escalation of the decades-long conflict between the two states. On the morning of September 13, Armenia’s head of government, Nikol Pashinyan, spoke of a provisional number of 49 dead.5)
Right now, when Russia is weakened, Armenia, which is close to Moscow, is being shelled by Azerbaijan. This also creates an explosive dilemma for the EU: it urgently needs Azerbaijan as an energy supplier.6)
Since the collapse and dissolution of the Soviet Union, the United States has viewed Russia as a regional power that needs to be kept in check financially, politically and militarily. This constantly enforced anti-Russian attitude was followed by deeds: eastward expansion of NATO, termination of the ABM treaty, construction of a missile defense shield in Poland (allegedly against missiles from Iran), wars in Iraq, Libya and Syria, colored revolutions, etc.
The war of aggression by the USA/NATO against the rest of Yugoslavia in 1999, which violates international law, should also be seen in this context.
At the end of the first week of the war, former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt had stated unequivocally:
“Guided by the USA, we have disregarded international law and the Charter of the United Nations”,7) and the US political scientist and war researcher Professor Daniel Kolko wrote after the war: “For the USA it was about demonstrating military power and to expand their supremacy in NATO.”8) Since the Yugoslav war, the “law of the powerful” has applied instead of international law.
For the US, the current situation in Europe is a win-win situation in every respect. The euro has weakened sharply against the dollar, while profits from arms sales generally go into the pockets of the US military-industrial complex.
At the same time, the implementation of the US long-term strategy paper TRADOC 525.3.1 “Win in a Complex Word 2020-2040” from 2014 seems to have started successfully. It instructs US forces to give priority to reducing the threat posed by Russia and China – a euphemistic term for war.

The criminal creating U$$A gestapo (aka Federal Bureau of Instigation) intercepted the “My Pillow” guy Mike Lindell; tracking him by cellphone carrying in the parking-lot at a Hardy’s in Mankato, Minnesota yesterday. Their claim is they were “arresting” his cellphone. Arthur Anglin has a major piece on that latest action against the opposition element within the Republicans—the MAGA types—on today’s Unz Review.
It would seem quite probable that a 911-Inside Job second-edition false-flag attack will come as an October “surprise”. The answer does not appear to be complex. One precision missile cannot destroy a mildly decentralized amount of troops. As long as they don’t transport all together in a truck convoy are have more than 50 inside a base camp, the death count won’t be a lot compared to the price and stock of said missile.
Striking at one specific person or location he’s known to be, that’s easy of course. Russia could wipe out Ukrainian government too that way, if they wanted to go that way, like with a war on terror (declaring the leadership and all political support a terrorist first).

not so funny. This “fait divers” was used by Ukraine to justify the EU ban on tourist visa for Russian, arguing that Russian tourist were agressive toward Ukrainian refugees. The entire French press first titled as if it was a Russian thug, without expressing the slightest doubt about it.
for instance on “Nice Matin” newspaper, once truth came out the titles has been changed from “A russian clobbered two Ukrainian women near Monaco” to “A man speaking Russian clobbered two Ukrainian women” just to avoid writing that was an Ukrainian thug.

Analysis of an expert
“The Ukrainian army has concentrated very large forces, up to 60,000 military personnel, on the Kherson sector. If they are not destroyed by pre-emptive carpet bombing from heavy bombers, the offensive can be successful. And then they will advance to Crimea.”
The expert warns:
“Now the AFU (Ukrainian Army; ed.) is probing our defense system. This is shown by the example of Kiselyovka and the Kinburn Spit. From a military point of view, the algorithm of the measures is obvious. Refraining from air strikes from our side could lead to a situation similar to that after the Istanbul talks in March, when we left huge areas.”
In order to destroy the AFU grouping, both long-range strategic aircraft, i. H. bombers, each capable of carrying 24 tons of bombs, as well as tactical bombers. It was necessary not to strike with precision weapons, but to strike extensively because the Ukrainian army was standing still. Sivkov:
“We also have to hit the major railway junctions in these areas. Thanks to the open landscape, we are in a much better position than the Ukrainian army.”
Translated from Russian.

There will be even less stability in the eastern Ukraine and it is probably a fact the Russians might have to eventually admit.
Until the business is finished it will be very hard to hold any referendums or build infrastructure. The whole territory is in high risk of ending up resembling a moon landscape used for maneuver warfare, tactical withdrawals and strategic bombing of concentrations and railheads and moving trains and suspected trucks carrying weapons, more energy plants hit. Areas will be abandoned to extend enemy lines, over-extensions counter attacked and destroyed. The war will probably enter a next level. Or will they succeed in defeating these currently mounting counter attacks in Zaporizhe, Ugledar and Donbass?

Looks like the breach of the dam is having an effect downstream. It’s being reported that Ukrainian soldiers on the wrong side of the Ingulets River have been cut off from the other side by the rising water, and under fire can’t retreat or get supplies or support from their comrades across the river.

I note that, once again, a few strikes by Ukraine Army is getting everyone all worked up to hysterical response mode again. This is a quasi war time situation. Russian intelligence is probably the best in the world. However, no war has ever been executed in a perfect manner and of course, the enemy strikes targets at times. However, Russian military strategy has been spot on and the decisions are made in a calm and considered manner.
For all those here shouting for Russia to escalate then it’s just as well that they are not the ones making the decisions. Russia will escalate when it deems it necessary to do so. From where I’m sitting things are going o.k. as they are. Whilst Ze is running the war as some great PR photo optic opportunity Russia are getting on with the job on the ground and achieving its objectives.
I strongly suspect that the USA are desperate for Russia to escalate/mobilise so that they and NATO have a good excuse to put troops on the ground (they have already under the guise of mercenaries and the RF know this) but to do so more formally. Putin is much classier than that. He sees the wider international picture and is keeping a clear head about it and clarity of vision. The home made bomb that killed the Luhansk Prosecutor General is clearly a terrorist act.
It would be disastrous for the RF to take action that has the potential to be seriously detrimental to them in this SMO. President Putin and his team are making the clear and right decisions and are not caving in to hysterical calls to escalate.
I am in no doubt that the UAF is on its last offensives here (supported by NATO and the USA). I don’t do hysteria it’s not the way to conduct any business let alone a proxy war. I defy anyone here who is hysterical about the RF not taking deeper action or critical of perceived mistakes they have made to prove military mistakes have not been made by the USA, the UK and NATO.
the cauldron around Bakhmut will be closed in the very near future. Once it falls, it will effectively, very quickly lead to the liberation of the whole Donbass region by the RF which is a key objective of the exercise. Meanwhile, the UAF are engaging in terrorist acts, running the war as one big media propaganda campaign and are not really achieving anything on the ground other than a continued massive loss of life of their armed forces.
Hysteria is for the weak, the uninitiated and the brainwashed masses it is not for a proxy war situation.

Machine translation form Tybar
The APU struck the building of the administration of the Kherson region, it is reported about the arrival of at least five missiles fired by HIMARS. The movement of ambulances towards the place of impact is observed in the city. Judging by the video, there are dead and wounded.
Near the administration there is a square, a fountain and a playground, where locals traditionally relax. However, this did not stop the Ukrainian regime from attacking Kherson.
Again, what is surprising is the absence of similar attacks on the authorities in Ukrainian cities. Such actions would clearly reduce the level of Ukrainian officials.

Continuation from Rybar (they understand that someone in Russian leadership is still afraid of The West)
For me, the litmus test showing an idiot is the person who is still thinking about what the “reaction of the international community” will be to our strikes on the enemy’s infrastructure.
The reaction in the West is simple: hitting the Boulders is normal, hitting Kharkiv is terrorism.
The blow to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration is terrorism, the Kherson Regional State Administration is the fight against terrorism.
Yesterday, on one program, he said: we need not to disappoint the West! They always imagined us as strong, formidable barbarians! Even the most hardened enemies wanted to justify their predictions.

These people protecting nazis in Kiev use too much vodka in their diet if they really think Ukr will stop terrorism when nato money and ammo is infinite. Kazakhstan, Armenia and Moldova seem to have received a nice amount of dollars recently. And old fart Pelosi is visiting Armenia too.

I notice a massive effort to disrupt this site and its usually interesting, informative and relevant comments section. So, MoA is also under attack, like all common sense, decency and striving to get at the truth in times when the Western alliance is gripped by sheer lunacy. The truth, and its proponents, have always been attacked, demonised, furiously rejected, silenced, burned at the stake throughout history. We are witnessing it today in full display, as also in the past two years. Truth tellers can be destroyed, but the truth is indestructible. So the massive effort is futile. It is annoying, though.

It couldn’t have been said or written any better!
.
Even the most zealous friend of Russia should see that NATO seeks and provokes precisely this escalation!
Biden wants, NO MUST, until the election results and much more importantly HE must create facts that are irreversible if HE should lose power!
So expect a lot more such actions until the date!
e.g. weapons with longer range?
.
Germany (Scholz) does not refuse to deliver tanks without reason…. maybe Putin told him on the phone that Germany would then be the target, or that the last pipeline would then be dry?
Now the EU is attacking Hungary as a whole…Hungary would no longer be a democracy and all funds (€) allowances were frozen.
I Skype regularly with my family in Hungary, the voices OUT from the EU are getting louder among the people! Your Opinion “Without the war” in Ukraine they would be much louder! At the moment, however, a lot of people are unsettled by this.

But the camera was not shown this week and today I see the Palace of Culture, which the camera pointed at, has been badly damaged. Fighting is obviously getting closer.
I keep hearing about great Russian intelligence, but I also keep seeing Ru/DPR/LPR vehicles shown on Ukraine-supporting youtube webcam feeds like Observation Room. At one stage they were showing live video of an Allied base!
Two days ago a tank was parked under trees in Donetsk, obviously concealing itself – and there’s a webcam showing it on the OR site!

A quickly jotted thought regarding why Putin/Russia have chosen not to escalate just yet: Sad to say, but the way the United States wages war is often dependent on how the news of them is slanted, and the exact time in its electoral cycles that America is at.
Viet Nam and President Johnson and the members of his own party who were considering giving him a primary challenge come to mind.
Putin and Russian intelligence know of American politics better than any of us, and I suspect that they are thinking that from now until early November is the window of opportunity that the Biden administration and the MIC is looking at.
During this window they are laying claim to the idea that Ukraine’s military has recovered, and has some initiative, and that if Russia escalates it will be because they know they are going to lose, and so it would be fair and justified for NATO to directly retaliate to that.
The Biden administration is loathe to think of NATO jumping in during the last couple of weeks to the mid-term elections, as many would call the move out as being political, and done so as to steal an earned victory at the polls from the Republicans. But if they could still spin that Ukraine forces were making a comeback, then they could spin that it was Russia playing politics, if it was they that had escalated just prior to the mid-term elections.
The worst case scenario for the MIC in America is if Russia and its allies keep making progress, and they roll back/break apart the Ukrainian units that made advances into previously Russian held territory. If Russia can do that, while announcing that they don’t see a need to mobilize their non-standing forces, then that will give President Biden’s political advisors a lot of pause, and maybe even ulcers, as they deal with the more blood thirsty types in the MIC who want Biden to agree to NATO expanding its role.
Biden’s political advisors know that to expand NATO’s involvement, while Russia appeared to be trudging along and grinding away, so close to election day will get criticized as an admission of Ukraine losing its war, and an attempt to distract the political narrative away from issues that the Democratic party is losing on, in swing districts.
American elections, with Congressional districts and swing voters, can be tricky to gauge. Party loyalty means corrupt lunatics can get re-elected in districts safe for either party, but things can get really real in the swing ones.
So anyway, bottom line, if Russia chooses to ramp up its efforts, then the response they get from America to that should be its most pragmatic after the mid-terms.
The big caveat to that being that the Biden administration seems to be loaded with people who are divorced from the consequences for their mistakes. There is so much money involved with the upkeep of the political establishment that even despicable failures get handed ridiculously lucrative sinecures after they are compelled to let go of the levers of power.

Pop goes the USEU Oil Price Cap
In matters of war this kind of advance and alliance is crucial
« « As to why OPEC+ seems to have raised its desired floor price, one of Reuters Saudi sources indicated that materials costs have risen with inflation and that crude producers need more revenue to make up for higher production costs.
“An oil price at $120-130 is risky and Saudi will prevent that, but at $100 it won’t have a huge impact on the global economy – Saudi would be comfortable with that price,” one of the anonymous sources said.
As for Russia, which has had to offer its oil at discounts for months, it wants to see oil at no less than $100 per barrel, two Reuters sources familiar with Russian thinking said.
With both Saudi Arabia and Russia backing the $100 oil horse, it could only be a matter of time before OPEC+ agrees to actively defend this price level by cutting production. » »

Question at large, from aristodemos:
Are U$$A torture specialists giving advice to the Ukrainian secret police and the Banderite Galician nationalists? If that is indeed the case, they have been granted a “get out of jail free” card by a U$$A District judge in the most corrupted of all federal judicial districts, the one in the Di$trict of Corruption.
“Ruling” against an appeal to have a huge U.$. Senate documentation of CIA torture techniques and tactics as used in both Iraq and Afghanistan released to the public, this alleged “public servant” claimed that American citizens have no right to know about matters affecting “national security”.
When those bass-turds chant “national security” they are not babbling about the security of the American nation, We the People, but rather the security of the criminal elements which constitute the Deep $tate.
Constitutionally, judges on the federal level have no powers to “rule”. They are obliged to follow the clear language and meaning of Constitutional Law. However, beginning with the egregious Act of 1871, in order to meet demands by London Bank$ters for repayment of Civil War debts, the then Radical Republican Congressional majority acceded to the demands of the Bank$ters and made the American people into surety for that indebtedness.
Under that bit of unconstitutional legislation, the stage was set for establishment of the United States of America CORPORATION, an entity duly registered under the corporate law of the STATE of Delaware (aka the $tate of Dupont) and the home-base of the current PretzelDunce.
So when those appointed political judges “rule” they are not making those decisions based on constitutional law, but on a corrupt agreement between an alien controlled Congre$$ and City of London BAnk$ters. Therefore, totally corrupt federal district judges can “rule” at the behest of their owners.

The US is rudderless strategically, being guided by forces pushing a single agenda.
NATO member nations are self-interested at best, each trying to cope with the economic repercussions of a chaotic policy forced by the US.
Misdirection is a keynote of post-Stalin/Khrushchev Russia, the very environment where Putin cut his eyeteeth.
Supposition: Putin and the RFS were clearly stating that their goals were the establishment of autonomous states in the Donbas (the Luhansk and Donetsk Districts) and Crimea (Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Districts.)
You will notice that virtually all of the Ukraine conflict reporting completely ignores the Donbas, where Ivan has made slow but steady gains.
They completely occupy the Luhansk oblast and have been advancing steadily toward the western boundary of the Donetsk oblast.
Could it be that Russia CLEARLY stated their goals in the beginning and all the rest is typical wartime “the-Hun-eat-babies” propaganda?
Maybe the whole offensive in Kharkiv and Kyiv was misdirection to tie up significant forces while Ivan solidified their position in the east? Success could spell disaster for the UAF, while any extra land could be traded away in a future truce.
The west’s portrayal of Russia’s, and Putin’s, ambitions, goals and direction as inept empire building and “pining for the glory days” is completely out of character for both.
