speaking of crazy talk… fortunately we have a few very intelligent norwegians here at moa… this guy gives norwegians a bad name.. complete ignoramus and doofus… Posted by: james | May 16 2022 4:20 utc | 301 The military aspect of what is occurring now in Ukraine is I think a minor part of Russia strategy. The major part – the denazification of Ukraine – is an understanding of human nature. Posted by: Peter AU1 | May 16 2022 4:27 utc | 302 i like how you put that in your last sentence peter… thanks.. Posted by: james | May 16 2022 4:32 utc | 303 . . .from The Kyiv Independent Posted by: Don Bacon | May 16 2022 4:42 utc | 304 Don’t get too excited over Ritter. Posted by: IronForge | May 16 2022 4:43 utc | 305 The process might be called ‘delexification’. ‘Progressive’ turns into ‘moderate slaughter’, etc. We cannot actually discuss political events anymore since ‘political scientists’ have delexified all of the terminology. We can’t say anything anymore. ‘Liberal’ means pro-Nazi, etc. Posted by: blues | May 16 2022 4:45 utc | 306 More fun news from Nazivision 2022: Posted by: rk | May 16 2022 5:00 utc | 307 Posted by: Richard Steven Hack | May 15 2022 21:36 utc | 195 Posted by: Tom_Q_Collins | May 16 2022 5:02 utc | 308 @ tom… it is my impression as well, but i haven’t wasted much of any ink on this… i just tend to ignore as it takes up less energy… cheers.. Thank you for taking care of that M = et tu. They are a few others on here whose purpose is not discuss but to confuse. Reuters is reporting that Ukraine is on the offensive against Russia. From Shostakovich symphony Nº 7 to Eurovision -Euroblindness would be more appropriate- screaming contest and the pre selected winners saluting Europe and two hundred million zombies with a raised arm. These are the sad times we where allotted with, a fake decaying Hollywood set were nothing humane can take place. Posted by: Paco | May 16 2022 5:18 utc | 315 @ 313 peter… thanks.. i am on much the same page as you here… cheers.. Posted by: james | May 16 2022 5:25 utc | 316 If you knew you were going up against NATO and the combined arms that could be supplied into the war, would you fight that war in an uncontrolled environment or would you let these weapons be brought into a location were they would be used by an under trained force and you had the ability to control their usefulness and destroy them at your leisure? What happens when the arms supply from the west runs out? We have already read so many articles from western publications regarding the time delay to replenish the supply of arms and with so many NATO countries reducing the inventories of weapons and ammunition how will they defend themselves if this war expands into central Europe? Some countries have already stopped the supply as they have already exhausted their inventory. I think the Russians have this scenario planned out well. By not mobilizing more forces into Ukraine they lead the NATO countries into believing that Ukraine can win and thus they continue to deplete their own resources and leave themselves lacking in available resources in the event of a larger conflict. Is that the reason for the initiation of the call to Shoigu by Austin? Posted by: Recon404 | May 16 2022 5:54 utc | 321 I haven’t seen the Reuters article on the Ukrainian offensive. Where is it to take place? I suspect they are building force to push towards Kherson. He is bought into the whole Western Media complex and seems to believe image has more importance than reality. His obsession with the culture War and identity politics weakens his already weak arguments. He seems a fool to me. Posted by: Haassaan | May 16 2022 7:10 utc | 333 Seems that Russia wants the SMO to take a very long time. Posted by: ct | May 16 2022 7:40 utc | 334 Ritter seems to be under the impression that it is or was Russia’s plan to not only go west of the Dneiper, but make war on Finland to. As such he is suffering cognitive dissonance with what he is seeing on the battlefield. Posted by: Haassaan | May 16 2022 7:49 utc | 335 Another thing that occurs to me is that some people who really ought to know better have described this as an existential battle for both Russia and the United States. This is self evidently ludicrous. We all remember the ‘kangaroo court’ that killed Saddam, and the way the West whooped, hollered and cheered as the legal leader of Libya was tortured raped and murdered. Posted by: Olivier | May 16 2022 10:45 utc | 366 Scott Ritter has been right about a lot but also wrong on some major predictions – I read him as a gatekeeper – the sanest most honest analyst in the NATO camp doing his job which is to talk up pro Russian Special Operation expectations and gloss over the primary bio warfare front that went hot with covid 19 attacks on Wuhan & Iran in January 2020. I think Russia’s plan is going as far as the entire East bank of The Dneiper plus the entire Black Sea coast oblasts at a slow pace grinding down ukrops that have been pinned in place by previous tactical movements of RF forces. Certainly very strange war… But then they nearly all are when you dig down… Posted by: Bemildred | May 16 2022 13:08 utc | 392 Psychohistorian [311] Posted by: Paul Greenwood | May 16 2022 13:15 utc | 393 RT is reporting that surrender of injured Ukrainians from Azovstal has been negotiated. Apparently the group of ten Ukrainians that surrendered earlier was sent with a mission of negotiating the terms of surrender. Very well said. Posted by: cirsium | May 16 2022 13:22 utc | 395 Putin talked about neo-nazi in Ukraine. The response to Finland and Sweden will be linked to deployment of weapons or infrastructure. And that nato is an artificial thing only used for US policy. Posted by: rk | May 16 2022 13:40 utc | 396 Are we possibly looking at mass surrender of Ukrainians? There are some rumours fast spreading. What sort of “negotiation” is this? If they get rid of the wounded and not other people, they can fight better and kill more Russians. Great plan!
