To Punish Russia The ‘Liberal Order’ Attempts To Suicide Itself

Two days ago we looked at why Russia is doing what it does:

Russia understood Zelensky's remark in Munich as a threat by Ukraine to acquire nuclear weapons. It already has the expertise, materials and means to do that.

A fascist controlled government with nukes on Russia's border? This is not about Putin at all. No Russian government of any kind could ever condone that.

I believe that this credible threat, together with the artillery preparations for a new war on Donbas, was what convinced Russia's government to intervene by force.

The 'west' had failed to understand Russia's need to act. It has failed to make the necessary commitments, and accept Russia's reasonable demands, to avoid the struggle. In consequence it will now fall apart. The knee-jerk reaction to Russia's 'special military operation' in Ukraine will, as Alastair Crooke writes, lead to the end of the 'liberal order':

So Biden, finally, has his foreign policy ‘success’: Europe is walling itself off from Russia, China, and the emerging integrated Asian market. It has sanctioned itself from ‘dependency’ on Russian natural gas (without prospect of any immediate alternatives) and it has thrown itself in with the Biden project. Next up, the EU pivot to sanctioning China?

Will this last? It seems improbable. German industry has a long history for staging its own mercantile interests before wider geo-political ambitions – before, even, EU interests. And in Germany, the business class effectively is the political class and needs competitively-priced energy.

Whilst the rest of the world shows little or no enthusiasm to join with sanctions on Russia (China has ruled out sanctions on Russia), Europe is in hysteria. This will not fade quickly. The new ‘Iron Curtain’ erected in Brussels may last years.

But what of the unintended consequences to last Saturday’s ‘sanctions Blitzkrieg’: the ‘unknowable unknowns’ in Rumsfeld’s famous mantra? The unprecedented switch-off affecting a key part of the Globalist system did not download into a neutral, inert context – It developed into an emotionally hyper-charged atmosphere of Russophobia.

Now reality comes back to bite the inept minions who attempt to rule over us.

Europe can not sustain this, Russia can:

In sum, the changes set out by von der Leyen and the EU, with surging crude oil costs, could potentially tip global markets into crisis, and set off spiraling inflation. Cost inflation created by energy costs spiraling higher and food disruptions are not so easily susceptible to monetary remedies. If the daily drama of the war in Ukraine starts to fade from public view, and inflation persists, the political cost of von der Leyen’s Saturday drama is likely to be European-wide recession.

“Since well before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Europeans have been struggling under the weight of runaway energy bills”, OilPrice.com notes. In Germany, for some, one month’s energy costs the same as they used to pay for a whole year; in the UK the government has raised the price cap for energy bills by a whopping 54%, and in Italy a recent 40% domestic energy cost hike could now nearly double.

The New York Times describes this impact on local businesses and industries as nothing short of “frightening”, as all kinds of small businesses across Europe (prior to last week’s events) have been forced to cease their operations as energy costs outweigh profits. Large industries have not been immune to sticker shock either. “Almost two-thirds of the 28,000 companies surveyed by the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry this month rated energy prices as one of their biggest business risks … For those in the industrial sector, the figure was as high as 85 percent.”

And it is not only Europe. Energy prices are based on global markets. As are the prices for many other minerals and metals which have suddenly become rare:

The U.S. will be hit just as much as Europe. Early today oil prices in Europe hit $139 per barrel, well above last week's market close. They will increase further. Gasoline prices in the U.S. will soon hit $6-7-8 per gallon.

bigger

The attempt by the U.S. to rush towards a new Iran deal to get Iranian oil flooding the markets has failed. Russia, together with Iran, has successfully blocked that move. Sanctions on Russia mean that Iran can not export its enriched uranium to Russia to be turned into nuclear fuel. No Iranian export of enriched uranium means no JCPOA deal. Secretary of State Blinken has failed to understand that. The supposedly ready to be signed return to the nuclear deal is now in jeopardy.

Some U.S. refineries at the south coast are designed to only process heavy oil variants. Since 2019 the U.S. has blockaded heavy oil imports from Venezuela and replaced them with imports of heavy Ural variants from Russia. It has now send too officials to Caracas to try to get Venezuela's oil flowing again. That would of course require to lift all sanctions off Venezuela and to return all confiscated companies and the gold that is owned by that country. It is not going to happen anytime soon.

High end German cars are build with aluminum from Russia. Boeing needs Russian titanium to build planes. These manufacturers will soon start to lay off people. All this while food, heating and mobility costs will increase dramatically. A deep recession combined with strong inflation will rip social cohesion apart. I do expect strong anger in the streets of Europe and the U.S. There will be riots and in consequence a strong political move to the right. The mid-term elections will destroy the Russophobic Democrats.

Michael Hudson notes the immense strategic damage the U.S. has done to itself:

The recent escalation of U.S. sanctions blocking Europe, Asia and other countries from trade and investment with Russia, Iran and China has imposed enormous opportunity costs – the cost of lost opportunities – on U.S. allies. And the recent confiscation of the gold and foreign reserves of Venezuela, Afghanistan and now Russia, along the targeted grabbing of bank accounts of wealthy foreigners (hoping to win their hearts and minds, along with recovery of their sequestered accounts), has ended the idea that dollar holdings or those in its sterling and euro NATO satellites are a safe investment haven when world economic conditions become shaky.

So I am somewhat chagrined as I watch the speed at which this U.S.-centered financialized system has de-dollarized over the span of just a year or two. The basic theme of my Super Imperialism has been how, for the past fifty years, the U.S. Treasury-bill standard has channeled foreign savings to U.S. financial markets and banks, giving dollar diplomacy a free ride. I thought that de-dollarization would be led by China and Russia moving to take control of their economies to avoid the kind of financial polarization that is imposing austerity on the United States. But U.S. officials are forcing them to overcome whatever hesitancy they had to de-dollarize.

This will not just happen with China or Russia but the whole world will over the next years turn away from the dollarized U.S. system:

Nobody thought that the postwar 1945-2020 world order would give way this fast. A truly new international economic order is emerging, although it is not yet clear just what form it will take. But “prodding the Bear” with the U.S./NATO confrontation with Russia has passed critical-mass level. It no longer is just about Ukraine. That is merely the trigger, a catalyst for driving much of the world away from the US/NATO orbit.

The next showdown may come within Europe itself as nationalist politicians seek to lead a break-away from the over-reaching U.S. power-grab over its European and other Allies to keep them dependent on U.S.-based trade and investment. The price of their continuing obedience is to impose cost-inflation on their industry while relinquishing their democratic electoral politics to subordination to America’s NATO proconsuls.

These consequences cannot really be deemed “unintended.”

All the consequences of the 'west's' reaction to Russia's move were foreseeable. It is pure recklessness and stupidity that have allowed them to take place. The 'west' will now get punished for the bad movie it has launched.

Too bad that I don't speak Russian … It is now the place to be.

Jimmy Salford @1Fubar – 7:06 UTC · Mar 6, 2022

Russia has already been cut off from CNN, Pornhub and Facebook. The US is now working on depriving Russians of MacDonalds and CocaCola. If they keep going with these sanctions, Russians will soon be among the healthiest, well adjusted and best informed people on the planet.

You have exactly zero knowledge of the philosophy – which has absolutely nothing to with “rich people.”
Basically you’ve watched too much “Altered Carbon.”

I have been into transhumanism in the past, including following both national and international newsletters.
I also have my own two eyes to see the social background and livelihood of some prominent advocates for transhumanism, but don’t try to minsconstrue this as a blanket statement of homogeneity.
In addition I have formally studied bioethics, technological ethics and philosophy of the mind.
And I have been an eager reader of Greg Egan. If you don’t know about this author, I’d advise you to refrain from talking in public about tRaNsHuMaNiSm until you fix this glaring failure.
In contrast, I haven’t watched a single episode of Altered Carbon – a few previews revealed it to be the usual sci-fi excuse for a “people talking to each other” drama show – hard pass.
So don’t try to tell me where my “misconceptions” come from, and don’t assume what I know or don’t about this issue.
Transhumanism is cool for science-fiction, in the current real world that we inhabit it’s a keyring-jangling distraction for turboliberalism and ultraindividualism, a fetish for prosthetics run amok, “let the world stew in its problems and enhance yourself [if you have the money]”, not to speak of increased avenues and methods of control over the “trans”human body by private companies.
Transhumanism taken seriously would inevitably lead to the creation of an augmented elite within the liberal elite, giving them an actual basis for their supremacist attitudes
I’m also an AVID consumer of comics, videogames and cinema with a transhumanist background, doubly so if they actually explore the problems of transhuman individuals.
So don’t give me the bullcrap that it’s anything else but the secular quest for immortality by the powerful and a desire to substantiate supremacist delusions.
And don’t pretend that opposition stems necessarily from ignorance.

Ranelagh – it seems that allowing the IP adress of the site (e.g. RT) is not enough.
I guess, but I’m not an expert that we need as well to add the I.P. of the stylesheet (in the case of RT I think it is for the following –> “cdnen.rt.com”; but I do not know this specific I.P. unfortunaly.

You can ping that site to get the IP-address. In a terminal window (windows or linux):
ping cdnen.rt.com
It seems clear that the attacks on RT and sputniknews are combinations of DDOS attacks and removal of the site from DNS in some countries. In Norway, both sites are available sometimes you see the DDOS protection front page, sometimes not.

Trying to get the thread back on topic, what do we think will be the state of Ukraine in 10, 15 years time? Assuming no nuclear holocaust, or all out war between the US and the Russians (both quite likely in my opinion and not, of course, mutually exclusive), I think that Ukraine will look in 10 years time exactly like Afghanistan does now: a ruined, wrecked failed state. It might also resemble LIbya with Nazis replacing jihadists, a centre for White Power, White Supremacism, and neo-Nazi ‘tribes’ endlessly engaging in power games, allying with other Nazi and far right groupuscules before stabbing them in the back, then creating new alliances, and so on. No centralised government or if there is, weak and unstable. Massive blowback in the ‘West’ in the form of far right racist and anti-immigrant groups, pushing Europe even further to the Right. Massive Nazi terrorist outrages in Western Europe on a fairly regular basis with the States using these as the excuse for more repression.
Probably the CIA will have a base or bases in what used to be the Ukraine and will use it for repeated ‘prods’ against Russian (perhaps using biological and chemical weapons) while Russia will have been forced, of necessity, to return to a state of affairs more similar to the USSR: to a certain extent a planned economy with heavy nationalisation (all Western companies will eventually leave and will have to be nationalised) with perhaps the Communists back in power (good).
Strong alliance with a triumphant China and the ‘stan’ countries. Of course the US will try everything to stop this: eventually it will ‘recognise’ Taiwan and attempt to take on China and Russia, but perhaps that’s for another thread.

If by “fascism” you mean authoritarianism then you would be correct about Europe returning to that political dynamic but you would still be wrong about the terminology. Fascism is the for-profit merger of state (public) and corporate (private) interests.
The age of profiteering, in all forms, is ending. Because profiteering — skimming off the top — is a luxury of organic growth economies.
The correct terminology for the coming (more) authoritarian European politics is National Socialism. Everything will be getting nationalized, and everything nationalized will be getting socialized, as in, rationed.

Crude processing and Refinery Gains
Posted by: c1ue | Mar 8 2022 0:50 utc | 333
Your exposition is basically correct. See the attached link for a lay explanation of crude oil processing. Includes a table listing the various products derived from a single bbl of crude:
https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/oil-and-petroleum-products/refining-crude-oil-inputs-and-outputs.php
Also re Malta and LNG. Thought that might be incorrect as LNG re-gasification facilities are an expensive bit of kit. Apparently Malta uses a floating storage facility. See:
https://www.energywateragency.gov.mt/lng-in-malta/
I am familiar with floating offshore production facilities. These permit a single capital investment (a ship hull specially purposed for this use case) to be floated to different production sites as required. Performing the same trick with LNG storage and re-gasification would ease the transition to American LNG. Sweden for example takes one tanker load of LNG per month and that satisfies their needs for that month.
You are also correct re the oil market. The global energy market is today like a game of musical chairs. Play the music, waltz around while chairs are removed from the ring. Music stops and everyone attempts to locate a chair. Some states will be left standing. It will be the same with sanctions on RF energy exports. Most of the producers are inclined to grab high profits while they can. When US unconventional production (shale oil and gas) hit the markets the American surplus resulted in a price drop. America then laughed at all those nations highly dependent on energy export earnings. The gooks, wops, dagos, rag heads, slant eyes, and chinks are not stupid. They know how to play the “international rules based order” game too.

Ukraine World Class Lithium Deposits

This is from the NYT so you know its God’s truth:
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/02/climate/ukraine-lithium.html
Interesting coda at the end. Writer suggests these deposits in the DPR are the reason for the Speacial Operation. I would counter that these deposits likely explain the US interest in moving Ukraine into the US sphere. You don’t invest billions in Maidan coups and arms transfers unless you anticipate a significant return on that investment.

Since 2016, The US Securities and Exchange Commission has twice forced EXXON/Mobil to fairly value their Tar Sands and fracked gas assets as worthless. IF Russia, Venezuela, Libya, Iraq, Iran, and Syria could freely sell their crude the price would drop to $20/bbl and stay there. SO it is absolutely necessary that a war be fought or Texass goes bankrupt.

I quite disagree with you because I can now access to both RT and sputnik from France and that because I did follow the instructions of Petri Krohn. Meanwhile, I am not able to read it correctly as it seems that the CSS does not load. But still, from here in France I can now read the contain even if it is awfull. So, either I miss something in his explanations or we need some additional action to do on some files. I am stressed by that because my feeling is that in a few days I won’t be able to access to MoA as well. We are leaving in a distopian time. Brrr

Posted by: UnCopEra | Mar 8 2022 20:08 utc | 517

There is another subdomain that RT uses for resources that should be in your hosts file if your DNS is blocking them. Altogether you should have the following in your hosts file for RT:
185.178.208.5 rt.com
185.178.208.5 http://www.rt.com
178.176.128.128 cdnen.rt.com
178.176.128.128 cdni.rt.com
Do not open your hosts file with a word processor like Microsoft Word. Only use a text editor. Also, by convention the whitespace between the IP address and the domain name is normally a character, but will work too. It would still be a good idea to use a between the IP address and the domain name though just to keep it consistent with whatever might already be in your hosts file.
Let me know if this helps. If not then I will try to figure out what else might be missing.

Notice that by default you can not edit hosts file in Windows because it is protected system file.
Running editor in “UAC Elevation” mode would be required. It is one misnamed “Run as administrator” in the program’s context menu, unlucky “translator’s false friend” title which misses the point and only confuses.
Some programming-oriented editors like Notepad++ or Notepad2e could have auto-detection for such cases and auto-elevation, but not sure. It is one of those things you routinely do without even registering details

Posted by: Arioch | Mar 8 2022 23:50 utc | 522

Alternatively one can use a local DNS proxy/server (all DNS servers are proxies, so it is more difference of intention, than of linitations) and fix some addresses in it.
For example for Windows one might use Acryllic

Posted by: Arioch | Mar 8 2022 23:59 utc | 523

Don’t edit your /etc/host file or something like that. You will get lost in editing! 😉
Change your systems to a non censored DNS.
I did it in my internet router which is my DNS in my local network. Switch from your internet providers DNS to a free one.
Search in your preferred search engine with: change dns server [‘your OS’| ‘your router’|’smart phone’]
PS:
1. | means or
2. DNS means Domain Name Service

All “money” has value totally dependent on the availability of food, including potable water and usable oxygen.
I.e., if food cannot be had, there is no workable “money”. Gold, silver, fiat have no value unless food is available to be consumed to prevent certain death.
Essentially, the first “money was, and remains, food.

Important and oft-misunderstood point! Likewise, the most important human right is a stable, reliable source of suitable food. Without it, all other “Human rights” are verbiage.

This from the Russian MOD via The Saker this afternoon, NOT on cnn or in the new york times or on npr etc…
MOD Russia: Meeting of the Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine
English: https://thesaker.is/mod-russia-meeting-of-the-joint-coordination-headquarters-for-humanitarian-response-in-ukraine/
Russian: https://t.me/mod_russia_en/174
🇷🇺🇺🇦 Meeting of the Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine
▪️ Unfortunately, the humanitarian situation in Ukraine continues to deteriorate rapidly, and in some cities it has become critical.
▪️ Mariupol has been in an extremely difficult situation for a long time. Today, as a result of effective actions, the formations of the Donetsk People’s Republic, with the support of units of the Russian Armed Forces, have surgically destroyed almost all firing points equipped by neo-Nazis in the suburban areas of Mariupol. Maneuvering actions of special purpose units eliminated the main forces of neo-Nazis in positions in residential areas around the perimeter of the city.
The successful operation to unblock the city made it possible today from 15 o’clock to open humanitarian corridors for civilians to exit and to begin mass evacuation of the population that had been held hostage by neo-Nazis for a long time.
Car convoys with humanitarian cargo were promptly formed and immediately dispatched. The first convoy has already arrived in Mariupol and delivered 450 tons of medicines, basic necessities and food, including baby food.
In addition, four columns with a total of 200 buses have been formed to evacuate the needy and injured residents of Mariupol, of which 50 have already arrived in Mariupol, the rest are on the move.
All the injured and willing residents of Mariupol will be taken to temporary accommodation facilities, where all conditions for comfortable living are created for them. Arriving citizens will be provided with everything necessary, issues of placement of children in preschool institutions, schoolchildren and students in educational institutions will be promptly resolved. Individual work with the participation of medical workers and employees of the psychological service will be carried out with each Mariupol citizen who has experienced the horrors and humiliations of neo-Nazis.
▪️ Despite the endless streams of lies and misinformation, the Russian Federation continues to fully fulfill its humanitarian obligations.
▪️ Every day, for the eleventh day in a row, from 10 o’clock in the morning, the Russian side opens humanitarian corridors in the Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy and Kharkov directions. The exit of civilians and foreign citizens through them is provided both to the Russian Federation and in the western direction through the territories controlled by official Kiev.
The imposed ceasefire by the Russian Armed Forces is strictly observed.
Of the ten routes we have proposed, the Ukrainian authorities have agreed on only three for today, but at the same time, again cynically towards their own people – there is not a single humanitarian corridor to the Russian Federation.
▪️ Once again extending a helping hand to the fraternal Ukrainian people, Russia agreed to the eleven additional humanitarian corridors proposed by Kiev in the Kiev, Zaporozhye, Mariupol, Lugansk and Donetsk directions.
At the same time, the requests from the Ukrainian side to deliver allegedly humanitarian goods to Melitopol and Kherson look absurd. Once again, we inform you that these cities are under our full control, their population continues to live a peaceful life and is provided with everything necessary by the Russian Federation. There are no problems in providing assistance to residents of these settlements.
▪️ By means of objective control, including the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, we constantly record all changes in the situation on humanitarian routes.
It has again been confirmed that Ukrainian units and neo-Nazi battalions continue to use the daily imposed ceasefire only to regroup in more favourable positions, restore combat effectiveness and replenish materiel, while shielding themselves behind a “human shield” of civilians.
Pursuing exclusively humane goals, Russian servicemen not only do not hinder, but also urge Ukrainians to take advantage of convenient ways for them to get to safe places, including those routes that pass through the territories controlled by Kiev.
▪️ At the same time, the flow of refugees across the western border of Ukraine continues to grow. People under pressure from the Kiev authorities are forced to leave for Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. But no one is waiting for them either at the border or inside the European states. Ukrainian border guards behave cynically towards their people, just as they do on ordinary days, despite the humanitarian emergency situation around the refugees. The capacity of border crossings is not provided. Thousands of cars have accumulated in traffic jams for tens of kilometers, pandemonium and crush at pedestrian crossings. Some Ukrainians stand in line for two or three days, while at the checkpoints there are no places of rest, food and medical care are not organized. Refugees are forced to actually be in the wind and cold, and many of them are with young children. This once again shows how the Kiev authorities do not care about their citizens, who have not been able to organize the evacuation in a high-quality way. In addition, all these facts say that no one needs Ukrainian refugees in Europe either.
▪️ Western countries, the United Nations, the OSCE, the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as a number of other international organizations, in the catastrophic humanitarian situation that has developed for Ukraine, still remain on the sidelines and do not give a principled assessment of outright neo-Nazism, which has already befuddled the Kiev authorities and reigns in the territories controlled by Ukrainian nationalists.
In Zaporozhye, the militants, having seized the financial institutions of the city, carry out checks of depositors’ bank accounts. Citizens with significant financial savings are abducted, forcibly detained and, threatening with murder, money is taken away from them, allegedly for the needs of territorial defence detachments. Civilians trying to escape the arbitrariness and violence of the nationalists make independent attempts to leave the city. At checkpoints controlled by radicals, people are detained, beaten, humiliated or extorted the last of their goods for an unhindered exit from the city.
▪️ In large cities such as Kharkov, Odessa and Nikolaev, members of nationalist formations, under threat of physical violence against family members of men aged 18 to 60, are forcibly recruiting them into territorial defence battalions. Residents are intimidated, but forced to agree.
Let me remind you that historically, a significant part of the population of Ukraine has always advocated good relations with Russia. According to statistics, this is more than 15 million people who still maintain strong ties with the Russian Federation, where their relatives and friends live. First of all, these are Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Chernigov, Kharkov, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Kiev and Zhytomyr regions.
▪️ Since the nationalists came to power in 2014, a full-fledged, large-scale, prepared and managed by Western specialists campaign for mass Ukrainization of the population was conducted in Ukraine, aimed primarily against Russian-speaking citizens of the country. Kiev’s discriminatory policy forced native speakers of the Russian language and culture to hide their beliefs under threat of criminal prosecution, demonstrating imaginary loyalty to the current government. Ukrainization, deployed at the state level, has done its job. The ukranationalist authorities have deprived millions of citizens of their country of the opportunity to develop their native language and culture and to bring up their children in a Russian cultural environment.
▪️And at present, neo-Nazis continue their activities aimed at the complete or partial destruction of the Russian-speaking population, in fact, at its genocide.
Despite eight years of brainwashing, widespread insults and psychological pressure, millions of Ukrainian citizens have maintained their commitment to Russian culture under conditions of narrowly directed ideological influence.
▪️In the context of a humanitarian crisis, most of the population held by nationalists in the cities of Ukraine and used by them as a “human shield” is looking for protection in Russia, and not in the West, which is confirmed by millions of appeals from citizens for help in evacuation to the Russian side.
▪️At the same time, the Kiev authorities demonstrate complete indifference to these people and willingness to sacrifice them for the sake of nationalist interests, forcing them to stay in their homes and allowing evacuation only to the western regions of Ukraine or neighboring European countries, but not to Russia.
▪️Daily monitoring of the received appeals shows that 12,247 people have expressed a desire to escape from the horrors and arbitrariness staged by the nationalists – namely to Russia and Belarus, and not to the West – just over the past day, and there are already 2,665,822 of them in our database with specific surnames and addresses from almost 2,000 settlements of Ukraine.
That’s a huge number. Behind each figure is a specific person, his pain, suffering, horror, and often a crippled psyche and undermined health. But on the other hand, it is also the hope of liberation from shocks, the desire for freedom of speech, thought, conscience and religion, the opportunity to speak freely in Russian, for many their native language, without looking back at the followers of Nazism, ready to shoot in the back.
▪️I quote one of the many appeals received today: “My father is in Kirovograd. I beg you, I pray, to evacuate Kirovograd residents accompanied by Russian servicemen, since when evacuating citizens on their own, they may die from the executions of looters or the authorities of Ukraine. When the evacuation begins, please let me know by phone…”. End quote.
The steps of the Kiev authorities, which have legitimized, in violation of all conceivable canons of humanitarian law, the possibility of uncontrolled and unpunished use of weapons by nationalists, provoking looting, banditry and violence against their people, civilians who are not capable of adequately countering such inhumane acts, also look like outright mockery of their citizens. Any attempts to resist the militants lead to irreparable consequences, up to the murderer of dissenters.
A monstrous act of cruelty against the civilian population was committed by Ukrainian nationalists in Donetsk today. As a result of a missile strike on a densely populated area in the city center, 20 civilians were killed, 28 people were injured, one of them a child. This is another evidence of the inhumane attitude of the criminal Ukrainian authorities towards the civilian population.
▪️ Despite all this, with difficulty, but with the observance of all necessary security measures, we manage to save thousands of lives of civilians and foreign citizens every day.
▪️ Despite this, 8,575 people, including 1,298 children, were evacuated from the dangerous zones of various regions of Ukraine, as well as the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, during the day without the participation of the Ukrainian side, 248,993 people have been evacuated since the beginning of the special military operation, 54,481 of them children. The state border of the Russian Federation was crossed by 27,923 personal vehicles including 2,415 per day.
In addition, over the past two days, thanks to the unprecedented security measures taken by the Russian Armed Forces, it was possible to provide humanitarian corridors and evacuate 21,345 citizens traveling by buses and personal cars from various localities in Zhytomyr, Lugansk and Donetsk directions.
▪️ 6,972 citizens from 22 foreign countries, as well as the crews of more than 50 foreign vessels blocked in the seaports of Ukraine, continue to be held hostage by the militants of the territorial defence battalions.
The fate of these foreign citizens has been the subject of round-the-clock cooperation with representatives of the relevant diplomatic agencies. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities practically do not react in any way to the appeals of foreign states for the rescue of compatriots in distress.
▪️ The Russian side still keeps a sufficient number of vehicles ready at the checkpoints, including comfortable buses for transporting refugees to selected destinations, as well as to temporary accommodation points, where all citizens arriving on the territory of Russia are provided with three hot meals a day and medical assistance is provided around the clock.
More than 9,500 temporary accommodation centres continue to operate in the regions of the Russian Federation.
Federal executive authorities together with the subjects of Russia, various public organizations, patriotic movements have prepared more than 18,000 of humanitarian aid.
At the same time, the Russian side is creating the necessary conditions for a peaceful and safe life in all the liberated territories, ensuring unimpeded access of the population to any humanitarian aid.
▪️ 2,165 tons of humanitarian cargo have already been delivered to the settlements of Kiev, Sumy, Chernigov, Zaporozhye, Kharkov, Kherson regions, as well as Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics during the 306 humanitarian actions, including 23 actions carried out over the past day, 110 tons of basic necessities and food were transferred to the civilian population of the liberated areas.
To date, 16 humanitarian actions have been planned and are currently being carried out in Chernigov, Kharkov and Kherson regions, in Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, during which 150 tons of basic necessities, medicine and food will be distributed.

The post about former member of the German Bundestag Waldemar Herdt leaves out that he belongs to the christian-fundamentalist wing of the post-fashist AFD. He’s not a trustworthy source in regard to political analysis, to keep it sophisticated.
