When it comes to MSM I learned a long time ago that it consisted of nothing but bull$hit, propaganda, and banal nonsense.
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Sun is shining, and the temperature is approaching 60 degrees.
Instead of spending my time engaging with puppets, and trolls, and nutters, and narcissists, I’ll get outside with my dachshund (nazi dog?), throw a chicken on the rotisserie, and take a nice trike ride.
Maybe flirt with a few old women, and let them feel desirable.
Gotta try to have some fun before dollar supremacy takes its inevitable hit, and we enter the beginning of the war of neighbor against neighbor.
Does life really have to be nasty, mean, brutish and short?
Not if I can help it.
I wish you well.

“Don’t be so hard on Graeber.
As far as I can tell, Graeber’s thesis was that for patriarchal societies DN is very small and a valid concept, but the evidence (in the archeological record) shows that matriarchal societies can function without the conflict and limitations of DN at vastly larger numbers even with vastly greater complexity.”
Thanks jinn.
Do you mean matriarchal or matrilineal?
Graeber was a self-professed anarchist. Taking a job at LSE after being an anti-capitalist activist, and writing a fake anthropology book that ridiculously changes the definition of anarchism (egalitarianism) to an urban Leftist (socialist/communist) ideal, while at LSE, at precisely the time when global capitalism is failing and the young anti-capitalist vanguard are deeply questioning things all the way down to civilization itself – THAT is a classic case of elite rearguard action: formalize the cultural marxist co-optation of anarchism via the formal channel, in cultural anthropology.
Cultural anthropology has essentially become the science of natural anarchism, because that’s where the science led. And that’s a problem for civilization. A Loose End.
I’ve talked about how, along with the national socialist HTOE, the elite are needing to clean up the various independent factions in the world that operate above Dunbar’s Number – what I’ve called the Loose Ends; they need to tie up the Loose Ends. Among these are the distributed anarchists around the world.
Civilization itself is beginning to collapse and the elite don’t like that the consensus formal science of cultural anthropology has for 50 years now made it abundantly clear, consistently and increasingly so, that civilization is the the structural source of injustice and, furthermore, than human nature in and of itself has no inherent flaw that causes structural injustices outside of civilization.
So along comes the most famous antiglobalization ‘anarchist’ activist, a Jew who grew up with communist parents, having been blackballed by academia for a couple decades for his involvement in the first Seattle protests, having since written the anti-capitalist blockbuster,”Debt,” right around the time when organic financial global growth ended, and the terminal decline of capitalism sets in, suddenly gets a position at the LSE which is the number one pipeline straight to the heart of the Beast, where most future junior bankers at Goldman Sachs go to study abroad. And then he proceeds to write a pathetically-argued book ‘discrediting’ the very field of study, as relatively obscure a field as it is, that roundly exposes civilization for what it is. And he does so with nothing more than intellectual dishonesty.
And the book is by far the most heavily marketed anthropology book of all time.
Once again, things that make you go hmmm…
Here’s a lengthy review of the book by a professional anthropologist. Naturally it’s written in a very polite, professional tone, but I think you will find the subtext nothing short of scathing. It also serves as a useful intro to anthropology.
As an addendum I want everyone to know that I do not have a problem with Jews per se. They’re humans like everyone else. Their religious mother culture is spectacularly rotten and influential, but the souls of all Jews have the capability, more or less — despite the reality of ‘blood memory’ under natural law — to walk away from that heritage. My several Jewish friends are all black sheep Jews that walked away swam upstream of that blood memory and moved out to the country to come alongside the land. Jews capable of breaking THOSE shackles are an inspiration to all of humanity.
That’s not Graeber. He died in infamy to those in the know.
Cheers.

I’m in no way discounting the ravages of till farming here, but that’s an awfully big claim that doesn’t pass the smell test at first whiff.

I think you musta misunderstood what I wrote. I did not claim all CO2 emissions from soil were the result of tillage and synthetic nitrogen use.
Whether or not subjected to abuse, soil is the largest emitter of CO2. The main source of the soil CO2 emissions are from microbial activity and plant root carbon emissions. This remains true whether or not tillage and synthetic fertilizers are involved. In fact, the main reason tillage and fertilizers create short term gains in crop production is that they accelerate microbial activity that stimulates plant growth and CO2 emissions. However, that practice is not sustainable and in the long haul as it uses up the carbon content of the soil (in a temperate climate that takes decades). Plantings by Midwest corn producers that use tillage and synthetic nitrogen are still producing enormous amounts of carbon inputs to the soil. Its just that the output to the atmosphere is also accelerated and the carbon flow to the soil is mostly just for 2-3 month of the year while the output mostly for around 8-9 months. Regenerative farmers have demonstrated that they can grow as much corn without tillage and synthetic nitrogen and build soil carbon instead of depleting it.

I’m pleased to hear that you digested the magic elixir.
Laughter, whether created or expressed, is the ultimate vaccine in terms of human well being.
I have a BA in accounting and finance, a MA in international business (USA centric education, so unfortunately one sided), and am working on a Ph.D. In satirical health.
I will be making a trek to Oregon to visit a couple of friends, including one from my prison experience.
I’ll pack my red wing boots, and some work gloves, and find out if you can pi$$ as far as you think that you can.
Gloves?
I’m a lifelong player of stringed instruments, and at almost 65, I still have all of my digits, and they’re still in beautiful shape.
Fishbone is with our daughters, and some of our granddaughters today.
Another fantastic vaccine, I hope.
Be well, and listen to/watch some Carlin, aghhh some Cheech and Chong too.
That’s how you can have my back.
