Fishbone is taking blood pressure meds, but we discussed discontinuing them this morning.
I sincerely hope that the concern, and empathy, and kindness that you extend, is returned to you a thousandfold, or more if necessary.
There are no toxins allowed at our place.
And the abundance of birds, and squirrels, and rabbits, and insects, including honeybees that congregate here, tells me that we must be doing something right.
Of course, I planted a small apple and pear orchard here about twenty five years ago (never sprayed with poison), so that may account for the abundance of friendly critters who hand out with us, all year round.

Talks in Vienna aimed at restoring the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran have been put on hold after the US announced it had seized the oil cargo of two Iranian ships which it claimed were breaking sanctions.
A pause in the talks is needed, EU representative at the negotiations Josep Borrell Fontelles said, citing “external factors”. “A final text is essentially ready and on the table,” he said.
The Iranian delegation repeatedly warned Washington in indirect talks in the Austrian capital not to seize the cargos of the two Greek-managed ships in Houston and the Bahamas, just as the negotiations on removing most of the sanctions were coming to fruition.

Late on Thursday, however, the US released details of the seizure, whose cargo was worth $38m, which were contained in a federal case unsealed last month.
The cargo seizure is not the only obstacle remaining at the talks, which have now dragged on for 11 months.
In its latest reply to Iran, the US made new unspecified demands that surprised and angered the Iranian side.
The US is refusing to lift the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a foreign terrorist organisation; an issue between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the “possible military dimensions” of Iran’s activities has still to be resolved; and there remains the issue of removal from the sanctions list of other companies, businesses and individuals.
Last Friday, the Russian delegation to the talks demanded a sanctions waiver from the US if it were to continue to participate in the deal to resuscitate the 2015 JCPOA agreement.

That’s all great news. While there’s no true accounting for a serious disease that seemingly comes out of nowhere, it does seem that sometimes even when you’re living well skeletons in the family closet can emerge. Industrialism has subjected at least a couple generations of our ancestors to some pretty heavy duty pollution, and those injuries get passed on as unseen weaknesses that catch up with us even though they’re not ours. And when our health slips from some trauma that weakness emerges. Sometimes shit just happens and then you die. The key is to go out fighting til fighting’s all gone and acceptance takes it’s place right?
I speak from experience regarding the GAPS diet. While I never did a strict version of the diet because I didn’t feel like I needed to, I followed it’s guidelines and after doing so for several years my hypothyroidism, which everyone in my immediate family has, healed. Which allopathic medicine says we’re not supposed to be able to heal from.
One of the general windows for becoming hypothyroid is in your 20s, and I became so at 26 after being vegan for five years, and I believe it was from chronic malnutrition.
All disease is either from chronic malnutrition and/or toxic/traumatic exposures, or a combination of the two. Or just one thing, really, since malnutrition is an exposure to traumatic scarcity.
I guess Zach or his friend you mentioned may have clinical experience with ending the blood pressure pills in a situation such as Cheri’s. My understanding was that you can go cold turkey on statins but I dunno about BP pills. If she’s in a real bad way maybe you can’t go cold turkey on anything. Filtering out the synthetic chemicals in them alone, though, are a drag on the system.

Dear $outhpaw & Fishbone;
Yet another thing to research is a similar vein to what has been suggested and that is cutting carbs (carbs are processed into sugars by the body) and going into ketosis.
There is an old theory that cancer is a metabolic disease. (Not all but most). The idea is this: They scan for cancer by glucose uptake; they grow samples in the lab with sugar and insulin. So don’t feed it what it wants. Some cancers are ambivalent about the energy they consume (sugars or ketones) but some are not (sugar only.) Plus it helps the body deal with chemo.
But this is my hand waving. Please research for your particular situation. Be careful with this if other issues, especially if diabetic. Deep into keto can become ketoacidocis which is deadly. That said, for millions of years, our ancestors didn’t grow food. We hunted it and had the odd fibrous roots and some berries to fatten us up for winter. We didn’t have super sweet fruits or even carrots.
I don’t claim it is a cure all like some, but an adjunct thing. It might help along with treatment.

A little family history.
Cancer has claimed both of my parents, Fishbone’s mother , and brother, and our oldest daughter, Becki.
Now it’s after her.
I was the primary caregiver for most of these folks, so I have seen the ravages of this malady, up close and personal.
Until now it has always been the same old same old.
Chemotherapy, radiation therapy, clinical trials, suffering, and death.
This time, thanks to a whole bunch of intelligent, caring people, we have alternatives to the same old same old.
I have enjoyed getting to know you just a little bit.
You should be proud of yourself for your efforts in doing for others.
I will let you know how this turns out.

Thanks for sharing. You’ve had a do have quite a life of real caregiving. That’s an honor. I never wanted anything to do with the career track and became a paid caregiver for mentally retarded adults for 13 years, same house, same 5 people until one died and we got a replacement. They were almost like family to me. What was better was that I was like family to them – until I finally moved on. That was hard for them. People don’t stay long in those jobs. After we moved to the countryside I would ride my bike 11mi and take two trains back to work 85 miles away. Did that for two years. Now I’m a school janitor.
Natasha Campbell-Mcbride has a devastating insight. May not want to share this with Cheri I dunno. She talks about how female mammals also use childbirth as a major detox function. MAJOR detox function. It’s a deep evolutionary reproductive syrategy to ensure that the female’s reproductive cycle can maximize the overall fitness of offspring throughout it’s 25-30 years. The mother, in late pregnancy, starts transferring to her uterus her accumulated toxins that she hasn’t been able to filter out during her daily detox cycle or periodic illnesses. There are many studies showing highly elevated levels of toxic exposures to babies in utero compared to maternal levels.
The most dreadful disease-related positive feedback loops of industrial pollution — which is the devastating insight Natasha shares with us — is that the industrial firstborn bears, by far, the biggest brunt of this major maternal detox function. She continues to walk the talk, holistically farming 27 acres with the help of WWOOF volunteers. Traditional societies formally prepared their young adults for parenthood by particularly focusing on a nutrient dense diet, both male and female. Thanks for not minding me bringing it up with you. No, not for a mother who’s lost a child. Thing is, of course, it’s absolutely nobody’s fault. It’s just where we find ourselves. Wanted to bring it up all the same, though, since it was topical to the conversation and, moreover, is a profoundly important truth that, maybe on the offchance, a future child may benefit one day from the sharing of it here.

It just dawned on me that I was my mother’s first born.
Mom survived tuberculosis, breast cancer, and colon cancer, before succumbing to lung cancer.
I wonder what will be the cause of my death?
I since I live in the US, odds are it will be a bullet.
Probably distributed by law enforcement.
