As I reported in “As Debt, Inflation and Hunger Rises, Latin America’s Fate Lies Once Again in Wall Street’s Hands,” a total of 267 million people — the equivalent of 40% of Latin America’s entire population — experienced moderate or severe food insecurity in 2020, 60 million more than in 2019.* It was the highest rise of any world region.

Another reason why most Latin American countries are not embracing the West’s economic war against Russia is that the U.S. and to a lesser extent the EU have lost significant influence in the region over the past two decades, as I documented in my August 17, 2021 article, The US Is Losing Power and Influence Even In Its Own Back Yard. Mainly it has been lost to China, but also to a much lesser degree to Russia:

China’s trade with the region grew 26-fold between 2000 and 2020, from $12 billion to $315 billion, and is expected to more than double by 2035, to more than $700 billion. In the last 20 years China has moved from an almost negligible position as a source of imports and destination of exports within the region to become its second trade partner, at the expense not just of the US but also Europe and certain Latin American countries such as Brazil whose share of inter-regional trade has fallen. China is not quite supplanting the US in Latin America just yet — the US is still top dog, particularly in Central America and the Caribbean — but it is eroding its influence. And the political sands in the region are not exactly shifting in the US’ favor right now. Even historically closely aligned countries such as Peru and Mexico are now governed by people and parties that are somewhat less disposed to US influence.

Colombia is basically an occupied state by the US. Chile is enormously dependent on exports to the US. Guatemala is Guatemala. Ecuador is interesting, not sure why they signed on.

The commodities feeding frenzy seems to have temporarily abated, but oil prices are still over $100.
The jump in diesel, however, is probably more of an impact on the economy than regular gasoline. It will drive up the price of everything, since everything in the US is moved via diesel powered trucks from the 2nd to last mile (i.e. to stores and warehouses) upwards to initial transport from ports.

An interesting flip seems to be underway. Traditionally the USA/CIA/NATO would use food riots in developing countries as a pretext for “color revolutions” that swept away regimes that were insufficiently compliant.
It could well be that leaders of such countries will have to reject the US sanctions regime in order to prevent those food riots. In which case a new pretext for “color revolutions” will have to be promoted.

In winter 2020-21, my spouse was determined to be cancer free, following a pre-cancer screening, which included a CT scan.
In March and April 2021, she received the two jab Moderna miracle.
On Labor Day 2021, she was diagnosed with aggressive, advanced, inoperable, small cell lung cancer.
She’s still alive. Still breathing anyway.
I also had the Moderna miracle, at the same time.
We trusted the advice of our niece, the MD, and our daughter, the RN.
I would appreciate any assistance that any patrons of this site would be willing to provide.
I broached this subject, here at the bar, once, previously.
The condescending comment that I received, from Mr. Peter au1, pissed me off to such an extent that I dropped the conversation.
The more I read, the more confused, and angry, and despondent I become.
Uncle Tungsten gave me a couple of places to look for answers, and I thank him for that.
I’m not internet savvy, as I spent the better part of the last decade in prison (for a crime that I did not commit), until I bankrupt myself in the appeals process of freeing myself from a corrupt legal machine.
Given all of that, if anyone here would like to help me find some answers about this Covid related “thing”, I would be very grateful.

We’re stealing it from Syria too. We seem to want a lot of oil. But it’s not just that, we don’t want anybody else to have a lot of oil too. And yet we waste tons of it every day. Same thing with methane, which is “gas”, and makes a good cook fire. Tons of it generated every day, just thrown away, but they have the europeans paying dollars per cubic meter for it.
You can’t tell me this is rational, reasonable, and sane.

I’m not sure what anyone who was forced due to work or conned by charlatans can do to counteract any damage now or in the future. A new field for ‘snake oil salesmen’ with post apocalyptic vaxx cures I suppose.

That business was Neoliberalized and offshored like so many others. No one gave it any thought at the time. Mr. Market would provide. Oops!

Black seed oil, dandelion tea, star anise tea are said to assist defenses from spike proteins. They mask our ACE2 receptors from attaching spike proteins. I understand it is the ACE2 receptors that covid spikes grip on to invade human cell.

I’m going to chime into the NS debate for some reason.
I hate nazis don’t get me wrong. My father is Dutch and I’ve had family marched off never to return during the war. Not because they were Jewish but because they were slave labour/a threat whatever.
I would kill a nazi. Gladly step on its face until my boot meets ground and probably giggle from the experience.
There is however a difference I believe between a nazi and national socialism in terms of ideology.
Could national socialism be a palative political alternative if the racist and untermenschen aspects were removed?
If a more open political corporate relationship existed half our arguments at moa would cease to exist. Does it need to be expansionist or militaristic?
Is communism so bad? Under Stalin I would say it was shit and the soviet union wasn’t really communism if fear instead of brotherhood holds the construct together.

I met a guy at a little Cafe in st John’s a couple weeks ago. The Cafe caters to the unvaxxed and refuses the mandates so it’s rebellion central. I was with my niece and she recognized a guy in the next booth. He joins us and opens up eventually that he’s a national socialist. Shows me his collection of NS flags that he has. Italian,British and French.I give him an opportunity to live and he explains his views. He wasn’t some jew/black/arab/etc. hater. He just thought it should be the way to go. I let him live.

Thank you for the anecdote, but how is the Nat Soc system regulated? How can we as the people prevent the regulator being captured by the extremely wealthy oligarch/bank/state law enforcer.
This is the elemental problem of almost any system.
I do not accept that National Socialism is any benefit to social betterment because it represents a theory whereby the two supreme power elements in our society state (concentrated public wealth and authority) and business leaders (concentrated private wealth and power) form a coalition to benefit the nation? benefit the people? benefit themselves?
Socialism imo acts in the name of all, the people and the common wealth as a shared commodity and regulates to minimise power abuse.
Just be sure that your nay soc acquaintance is absolutely clear on the regulatory mechanism and the means of ensuring the integrity of that mechanism in perpetuity and in the hands of the people to design, change, enforce. I suspect your nat soc acquaintance has no reliable, durable, robust formula.

If there is indeed a health risk associated with the vaxxx induced autoimmune spike protein attaching to the ace2 receptors then don’t forget that most statins and blood pressure pills upregulate ace2 production which makes for a contraindication nightmare. Nobody should be on those pills anyway, ever.
Suppressed cholesterol levels from statins make it harder for the body to repair itself, and the inability to heal properly is directly related to cancer. Cancer is often described as wound healing gone wrong. Cholesterol is extremely important for lung surface regeneration and other lung functions; it’s also a major building blocks of all our organs except the heart. And there is zero real evidence that high blood cholesterol is bad for you.
Blood pressure meds are also counterproductive. If we get high blood pressure it’s because our intelligent body is compensating for poor blood flow by narrowing our veins in order to increase flow, by increasing pressure. Smart. Not ideal but smart. Ideal would be the persona whose eating poorly and not exercising enough becoming aware of his declining health and doing some about it, so that the flow will return and the pressure will drop. The worst case scenario is the dumbass doctor prescribing chemicals that suppress the compensatory mechanism that the intelligent body decided was necessary.

The issue Russia raised concerning Iran and JCPOA restart is as follows:
1) First phase of JCPOA restart involves Iran reversing its uranium enrichment. “Non nuclear” under JCPOA means 3.67% U235 – which is the “active ingredient” in uranium (vs. U238). Due to JCPOA breach under Trump, Iran has enriched to 20% with some 60% enrichment.
Note that “normal” uranium is 0.73% U235, so “enrichment of uranium” for nuclear reactor use @3% to 5% is “fine”, but enrichment to 20% is unusual and enrichment to 90% is “weapons grade”.
So the Stuxnet attack of decades ago was on the centrifuges used for enrichment, period.
2) So the first of of JCPOA means the 20% and 60% uranium that has been created must be diluted down to the 3% to 5% enrichment used by civilian reactors. I am no expert here but I’m guessing it is fairly straightforward, except that it does create nuclear waste (which is anything radioactive; most of nuclear waste by volume is stuff like gloves, storage containers etc) and also has costs related to transporting nuclear/radioactive material.
Russia does this; I don’t know if anyone else does, commercially.
So it is incorrect to say that the US or Europe could just buy uranium from Iran – they would need to process it down. Whether there are commercial facilities for that is a good question, but it seems that Russia is the entity doing this right now and wants to ensure that it can then sell the “de-enriched” uranium as reactor fuel.
And yes, this is almost certainly a dig at the US/EU sanctions, but Iran didn’t have to accept Russia’s concern.
If the Iranians do, it would seem to me that the “de-enrichment” is a real issue and therefore a legitimate obstruction to the JCPOA deal – or Russia’s long term cooperation with Iran is such that Iran doesn’t want to help out the Great Satan in its time of energy need.
As with most things, I’d guess some of both with more of the latter, since a lot of the “not cooperating” with the US is a major meme in the Middle East these days.

Thanks, that is about the way I understand it. I think Iran’s response will be a tell; but I have to allow that the Russians and Iran may be doing some more good cop, bad cop games on us, while we are busy trying to create division between them, so that may be fake too. I would certainly suggest playing some games in their place.
We tend to assume our enemies are as obsessed as we are, and to see ourselves in everyone else. This is, of course, not so.
The point being neither Russia or Iran needs the deal at this point. That was 7-8 years ago, they have adapted.

I would assume that getting the percentages U235 just right has a lot to do with keeping he electricity generation stable and manageable.

All these people waiting for Russia’s response to the sanctions etc. are waiting for something that isn’t going to happen. What you see now is what you get. There is no need for them to do more than is already being done. The West is doing a fine job of undermining itself, and the last thing for the Russians to do is disrupt the way things are happening now. They will wait until we stop thrashing around in rage, and then they will consider if they need to do something more to punish us too.

Yes, and while we’re stepping back and possessing ourselves of patience, let’s remember that this action doesn’t end with Ukraine. The demand was for NATO to withdraw to its 1997 borders, and this is where Russia will push it, or we will all die in the attempt.
This is not an action movie. It’s a war movie, and those things can go on for years.
I didn’t see any point trying to cram that thought into any of the current orgies of opinion in the Ukraine threads, but I thought I’d drop that line here and say hello in passing 🙂

Ukraine may or may not settle down some time soon, but the ongoing international dispute about who gets to be the boss will go on indefinitely, and the process of decay and renewal in the West will take it’s own sweet time. So we might as well all start getting used to the new world we live in. In fact facing forward and facing facts seems like the best approach going “forward”. Forget everything you thought you knew and start learning anew.

As you know, the terrain theorist Zach Bush’s great contribution to the plandemic discourse has been that PM2.5 air pollution piggybacks on airborne coronavirus (and that the ‘virus’ itself is not a pathogen but an intercellular proteomic exosome that exists in service of evolution itself, in service of our adaptive function). And coronavirus attaches to ace2 in the lungs when breathed in. The upshot of which is that the coronavirus micro-evelotionary messenger has a petrochemical molecule sticking to it’s protective fat coating, and that tiny, heinous molecule not only gets delivered deep into our lungs but gets hooked into our lungs via the spike docking at it’s docking site – many of them, over and over again, and especially so if we live under the cloud of an oil refinery.
There are two, is it?, oil refineries in Minneapolis St Paul, and I see that they refine both tarsands crude and bakken crude, which are THE nastiest of all crudes, which means their plumes are also the most toxic. Just make sure you guys account for this variable if in fact it does apply to you, because the first precondition of healing is stopping the trauma.
Another thing. ‘Spontaneous’ remission (healing) and acute illness (‘infections,’ fever) go hand in hand. If Fishbone falls ill with the flu or something ‘not related’ to the cancer, then take heart because this illness is the body’s healing process/detoxification, and it may or may not be healing/detoxing the cancer but if it is not healing the cancer it is healing something else first so that it can then deal with the cancer. So an obvious illness would be an excellent development, and speaks to the importance of her eating a hyper-nutrient dense diet because as embattled as her health is, her body cannot muster the courage to fight if it does not have plentiful reserves of micronutrients and minerals because healing requires tapping into those reserves. So she needs to go through a nutrient loading phase.
Bone broths several times a day, liver twice a week, kidney, kidney fat, egg yolk, meat stews, fermented foods, leafy greens, non-starchy veg. We are what we eat, and to heal the cancer is to heal the redox signalling in the cancer cells themselves, and that requires the full complement of nutrients. There is no with a greater drive to understand redox signalling that I’m aware of than Zach Bush. Normalize the redox signalling and the cancer cells can again become unhealthy, toxic cells that our body can actually deal with, and they can undergo apoptosis. Once apoptosis takes place then our symbiotic anaerobes can eat and metabolize the toxins, the petrochemicals, and that will cause acute symptoms. Then the nasty aenerobe metabolites can be cleared by our filter organs, and that will cause symptoms too.
Sunbathing. Even redheads can and should sunbathe. So long as you’re not burning, you can’t get too much sun. March sun prepares you for April sun, and so on.
Confirm with Zach that unless it’s life threatening, you should absolutely avoid halting this detox with antibiotics, which is what antibiotics do, kill the microbially-based healing/detox function. If Fishbone has had numerous courses of antibiotics over her lifetime these are undoubtedly a contributing factor to her cancer.
Cancerous tumors are the body’s fencing-off of localized traumas that cannot be cleared by apoptosis in combination with our anaerobic symbionts and our filter system, because the workload has simply become too high (air pollution levels) or our body is not functioning optimally and, or a combination of the two. These tumors are our body’s dangerous way of trying to figuring out how to compartmentalize the toxic, acute, chronic problem until it can better cope with the situation. Until the overall circumstances improve.
If anyone can do it, it’s you two. Ignore the bullshit remission statistics. That only applies to that allopathic hellscape. Of course remission rates are that low in that brutalistic, materialistic hellscape.

That is the million dollar question. If it doesn’t settle down
then “getting used to the new” could be anything. And doesn’t exclude
learning the best way to fight dog packs for bones.
There is one thing that keeps nagging at me.
The Empire of Lies keeps saying that they (we, the US) are not
going to put US forces into this conflict.
If they are liars — and they **are** liars — then
