Other issues:

Covid-19 – Good news:

As expected vaccinated people have a good T-cell response when infected with Omicron. This was my argument against boosters in otherwise healthy people when I wrote:  Why You Should Get Vaccinated But Don't Need A Third Shot

In Omicron Update I mentioned signs that Omicron is probably less severe because it does not infect the lungs. New research confirms that thesis.

Covid-19 – Bad news:

John Nkengasong @JNkengasong – 1:34 UTC · Jan 1, 2022
Two years,<100 cases of the virus that causes the Covid-19 were reported globally. Today, 280M people have been infected with 5.4M deaths. Major lessons: we are more #connected, more #vulnerable, and more #inequalities than we thought! Let’s act more collectively in 2022!

Syria:

Economy:

On the cause and the best response:

When demand is sufficiently indebted, the economy gets stuck in a debt-driven liquidity trap, or debt trap. Escaping a debt trap requires consideration of less conventional macroeconomic policies, such as those focused on redistribution or those reducing the structural sources of high inequality.

The Doctorow analysis is very good.
This is a link to his home page, the first article is an introduction to the sectors below the first. That is a translation and interpretation of a heavyweight Russian tv discussion of her options and reality of her position. Recommended.
Also finally watched Dark Horse interview with Dr. McCullough.
Did not follow to primary sources but he claims to be a Covid expert, much published.
Says this:
One covid infection grants immunity.
Spike protein in vaccination was a mistake, the spike protein itself is damaging.
40% of kids in US have already got covid, but think that was in summer 2021. He think is it is more like 80% now. So why vaccinate.
Vaccines produce heart disease, myocarditis.
At CDC meetings he was the only one prepared with scientific studies, claims expertise far beyond regulators.
That’s all for now, posting with fat fingers on a phone.

@ dh-mtl | Jan 2 2022 21:22 utc | 42… i always appreciate your input! i am mystified though why you would conclude this :”2022 looks to be the year that will provide the climax to a 40 year process of economic and societal destruction at the hands of the ‘Globalist Elites’. Either they will be destroyed, or humanity can look forward to a regime of never-ending serfdom under their ‘benevolent’ dictatorship.” i am more inclined to think this zone is going to last longer then 2022, so why do you say 2022 is the year? thanks..
@ Oriental Voice | Jan 3 2022 0:38 utc | 79… thanks.. that’s promising and encouraging..
@ Grieved | Jan 3 2022 2:19 utc | 93… i am surprised at how attached you’ve become on the topic of covid over the past year… i used to enjoy reading your posts, but since sometime into covid, you’ve put your whole focus on covid and alternative viewpoints on it, generally ignoring most other topics… it’s a free world.. some of us seem less free then others… i would argue it’s us who put ourselves in chains, but perhaps its human nature is to blame others for the chains.. happy new year grieved.. i hope its a good one for you…
@ EoinW | Jan 3 2022 3:13 utc | 101.. thanks.. i agree strongly with your sentiment and conclusions..

Tom Q Collins @ 35:
I’m sure Whitney Webb covered Jeffrey Epstein’s connections to Western intel – and very likely Mossad – in a series of articles on Epstein for Mint Press.
Why else would Epstein ferry people like Clinton, Dershowitz and the British reptile prince with no sweat glands to his Lolita island? Those girls recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell with promises of money and work were all part of a blackmail operation to get compromising photographs of the Rich and Fatuous to ensure they did certain things that benefited certain intel agencies and the governments they worked for.
I’m sure MoA barflies are also familiar with claims that Maxwell’s father Robert Maxwell worked for Mossad either directly or indirectly.

james | Jan 3 2022 3:51 utc | 105 says: so why do you say 2022 is the year?
Hi James. Thanks for the comment. Why 2022?
To implement their Great Reset and Global Governance the ‘Globalist Elites’ (Atlanticists), (which are represented in the U.S. by the Democratic Party, some Establishment Republicans and much of the Deep State) need U.S. leadership and they need to neutralize the opposition of Russia and China.
The U.S. leadership comes in the form of Biden’s open borders policies, pandemic policies and the Build Back Better agenda. Neutralizing China and Russia comes from the military conflict that they have been trying to initiate between Russia/China and the U.S. since moment Biden took office, as evidenced by the flare up over Ukraine last spring and again now.
However, it seems to me that the ‘Global Elites’ will lose control of the U.S. when the Democrats lose both houses of congress in the November elections. The Biden Administration’s performance has been so dismal that even the electoral shenanigans that they pulled in 2020 will not save them in 2022. And if they lose control of the U.S. in 2022, the economic situation in both the U.S. and Europe is deteriorating so fast that the window of opportunity for carrying out their Great Reset will expire long before than can regain power.
So to me it looks like it’s 2022 or bust, and that the only way the ‘Globalist Elites’ will succeed is to create a catastrophic event, such as a major war, that will enable them to up-end the current situation both with respect to their electoral chances in 2022 (for example by cancelling the election) and the balance of power between the West and Russia/China.

I just read the news that U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced Sunday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
Austin, 68, said he has been fully vaccinated and received a booster shot.
This is the head of the military that wants all in the military to be shot up with mRNA drugs that seems to provide limited efficacy against Covid
If they hadn’t initially promised immunity they wouldn’t be calling Austin’s and others Covid infection a “breakthrough”. Breaking through non-existent immunity seems more accurate to me….isn’t that what real vaccines are supposed to provide?
Will nuclear war take our minds off Covid? How about global economic meltdown?
We may be in a new year but the movie we are living still reeks of old Wag The Dog style Hollywood production……

re: Khrushcheva in Project Syndicate
For I don’t know how many years now, she regularly writes essentially the same article for PS, reciting the same old tropes of the CNN version of US-Russia relations. Some of the regular authors at that publication work the same way for other subjects, some other authors (typically on business/finance matters) actually put out newsworthy topical material at least presenting the point of view of some influential institution in depth. Others still shamelessly advocate their pet lobbying cause. But the PS site is ultimately 90% disposable cookie cutter MSM regurgitations, unfortunately.
Semi surprised that there is a recent wave of mainstream articles in various media … suddenly rediscovering that the 25 year old NATO expansion debate they themselves covered at the time of the event, are really true and not just enemy propaganda. But still wouldn’t read too much into it, as there’s noone steering the ship anyhow, and probably won’t be until at least 2024 and possibly even later.

More recently, we saw Iran attack a US military base and the American response was to lie that no soldiers were injured. That’s what will happen to any NATO advisors killed in Ukraine – the government/media will pretend it never happened.

Yes! and recently a mountain jumped into the path of a US submarine just as it was being lulled into deep meditation via ultrasonic sound waves courtesy China’s Peoples Liberation Army. Sure beats those 450Hz Tibetan bells.
Do you think the USA is getting the message yet? Putin seems to doubt it so he calls creepy Biden weekly to keep him on focus.

A bit off topic but I reserved it for reading later on today, how Madrid was the center of the defeated fascist international, with consequences for our present day problems. Fascism in my country was never defeated nor made to face justice, so it is only natural that it survives in the closet, full of shame and unable to openly declare its existence in public fora, but for a local very easy to be detected.
Cheers to all and enjoy what is left of the Holiday season.

On the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea.
It has gone very quiet since Trump proved for the nth time that the USA is never capable of keeping to a deal. I guess other nations on this planet have observed this flawless consistency in USA relations. I was reading this report by Konstantin Kosolov at New Eastern Outlook and pondered on how many betrayals the USA had visited on the good people of North Korea.
Bill Clinton had made a deal that was going to nip the bomb development program in the bud in exchange for some pretty good stuff but the republicans sabotaged it*.

Just four pages long, theagreement said that North Korea would shut down its main nuclear reactor in Yongbyon, abandon two others, and seal fuel that could potentially be used to create a nuclear weapon. In exchange, the U.S. would provide oil to make up for the fuel lost from the dismantled plants and would build two new “light fuel” plants from which it would be harder to extract nuclear materials. If North Korea did try to get fuel out of the new plants, it would beeasy for nuclear watchdogs to identify—and hard to hide. In addition, the agreement promised that the U.S. would lift economic sanctions and its diplomatic freeze on North Korea and agree that it would not use nuclear weapons of its own on North Korea.

Sounds familiar. Trump recently agreed to a good proposal by Kim Jong-un that was immediately sabotaged by Mike Pompeo. It was even less pages and less ambitious.

Convinced that the establishment of new US-DPRK relations will contribute to the peace and prosperity of the Korean peninsula and of the world, and recognizing that mutual confidence building can promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following:
The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity
The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula
Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula
The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.
Having acknowledged that the US-DPRK summit — the first in history — was an epochal event of great significance in overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening up of a new future, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un commit to implement the stipulation in this joint statement fully and expeditiously. The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations, led by the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the US-DPRK summit.
President Donald J Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea have committed to cooperate for the development of new US-DPRK relations and for the promotion of peace, prosperity, and security of the Korean Peninsula and of the world.

So how is Joe Biden and his Blinken idiot secretary of state going on this score?? More democrat ignorance so as not to jeopardise a smooth mid term handover to the republicans?
So there you have it – a reminder of what an exhausting time it is to negotiate with these arsehats who will always have an election and/or ‘democracy’ up their sleeve to hide behind and scrap any decent agreement. And then, when that fails there will be sanctions, false flags, gas attacks, novichok in the UK or perhaps Latvia/France/Estonia this time.
Good luck Vlad. In the year of the tiger some ferocity and hunting skills might assist.
*For some perverse reason I am unable to link to A+E networks history.com but you might discover the links to this saga by searching lazyweb.ai using “USA agreement with North Korea” as search term.

Hsppy New Year to everyone, although there’ll be plenty who won’t because of the stupidity and bigotry of the ruling class.
One thing that’s often overlooked is the abuse of definitions. For instance, I just came across a tweet by a Ukrainian nationalist (spelling of Kiev) claiming that the first Ukrainian dead soldier of 2022 had been shot by a Russian sniper and this was the result of Russian aggression.

Sergej Sumlenny
@sumlenny
Private Ihor Tychyna, 20 y.o., has died in a military hospital on 01.01.2022 after he was heavily wounded by a Russian sniper on 27.12.2021. Tychyna is the first Ukrainian victim of Russian aggression in 2022.

Was the sniper really Russian or was he a Ukrainian who is of Russian ethnic origin. This raises the question, do nationalist Ukrainians regard ethnic Russian from Ukraine as Ukrainians or Russians? I hope that people like that useless idiot Adam Schiff and “fake news” newspapers like the Guardian (yeah, from 2014) understand the racism of Ukrainian nationalists.

blues | January 03, 2022 at 04:34

Before they were deleted I took a look at Black Bread’s posts and didn’t dwell on them, as they were in line with a previous post:

There is a symbol ubiquitous all over the net and Tvs some time ago, that is the hexagon…
I was seeing that at the image of Webb telescope published by Pat Lang, they have represented its surface with hexagons…
Curiously, during the Putin presser, the background stage was represented by a whole panel covered with hexagons (…)
Hexagon is the symbol of graphene…
There is theory by Spanish resistance group, backed by analysis of mRNA vaccines by Dr. Campra, related to the presence of graphene oxyde in the “vaccines”, thus concluding what is happening here is that “vaccinated” people are really being “graphenated” for radiating purposes and mental control through neural webs, hence Neuralink and the recently passed, through the “pandemic”, “Neural Rights Laws” in all our countries…
We know that the elites love to get slide symbols or sending messages publicly to each other…

The way around Swift will be through digital RMB, to be officially launched during the winter Olympics in Beijing. This is what the entire show around diplomatic boycott is about. The Russians have already thrown down the gauntlet in Ukraine. The Chinese version will not be through military means but rather financially. Taking out the firewood from underneath a boiling pot as in traditional Chinese saying. Increasingly you’re seeing other countries noticing this counterattack, like the Indian Central Bank recently announced that they are going to keep more reserve in rmb and follow the monetary policy of the PBOC more despite the tense relationship between the two countries.

I am very grateful to b for the information and exchange of ideas available here. I am troubled however, by the recent trend of banning and censorship, going back at least to vk’s ban and now with Black bread’s ban. The loss of stimulation and controversy that banning and censorship brings waters down the drinks.
What made/makes this bar special is not only b’s leadership with articles and opinions on current events, but the contributions of the commenters. Without the commentariat this bar would be just another little hole in the wall on Punditry Blvd.
Those who decry the rampant and accelerating censorship so evident in social media and yet support b’s similar actions are hypocrites. If you argue that the censorship by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the like is not OK because they are much more influential than MoA you are saying size matters. It doesn’t! People of Crimea exercised their legal right to secede from Ukraine and rejoin Russia. That’s the fact!

This is a false interpretation of the events. Ukraine ceased to exist as a sovereign state when her state institutions were violently overthrown by the US occupation regime disguised as a coup masquerading as a revolution and popularly known in the West as “democracy”.
The putsch regime established control in Kharkov through a police operation, in Odessa trough the Odessa Massacre and in parts of Lugansk and Donetsk through military attack and invasion (“Anti Terrorist Operation”).
The Kiev junta never established any form of control or authority in Crimea. It is thus legal fiction to say Crimea “seceded” from something it was never part of. It is almost as illogical as saying that Moscow seceded from Reichskommissariat Ostland.

I would like to make it clear to the good barflies from the US before my comments that my use of Yankee is a throwback to the C20th – best exemplified by the song and film (cultural propaganda) Yankee Doodle Dandy.
First let’s see what’s happening in an Iraq free of US troops (Not) because they just changed what they call themselves.
Elijah Magnier still paying attention to the Yankee’s Go Home message in Iraq.
https://ejmagnier.com/2022/01/02/choosing-baghdads-new-rulers-its-a-long-road/
‘The Shia Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Kadhem Al-Haeri issued a fatwa asking for the immediate withdrawal of all US forces and legitimising the resistance. He said, “it is forbidden to maintain any US military force under any title of training or military advice or under the pretext of combating terrorism that these forces (the US) are its instigators.” This fatwa, which binds only the followers of Sayed  Al-Haeri, is in harmony with the Iraqi factions that swore to attack the US forces after the 31st of December 2021. Al-Haeri and the Iraqi factions call for any US soldier still on Iraqi soil to be considered an occupier that must be resisted until the expulsion of all occupiers. ‘
—————
They (Yankees) will be hearing much more of this call within weeks and the roar will become deafening by the year end.
Many US citizens are going to wonder why most of the world, mostly they never heard of, will be screaming ‘YGH’. Yup they have undeclared troops and wars going on everywhere. Just ask Eric Prinz – who is about to receive his derrière handed to him across the globe. My bet is he will be the primary target of the new world order that will want charges and trials of all involved in crimes against humanity this century – included Sir Tony Bliar and his sexxing up cohorts (Al where you trying to hide ?) the whole bunch of them and their networks; all the way to the current shit stirrers. That stuck in my craw too. Turns out Krushcheva is the great-granddaughter of Nikita (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nina_L._Khrushcheva).
She leaves a lot out in that piece. Kruschev gave Crimea away to Ukraine in 1954. Here’s a 2009 article that gives some of how it happened which, according to the article, was part of Kruschev’s attempt to secure his power.
“Historians have a very simple explanation to Nikita Khrushchev’s generosity. He came to power after the death of Joseph Stalin, unmasked his cult and condemned repressions. However, Khrushchev was involved in a number of repression-related affairs before. He was conducting a struggle against “people’s enemies” when he served as the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party from 1938 to 1947 to win the support of the Ukrainian leadership. That is why he gave the resort peninsula on the Black Sea coast to the republic.

“If Trump and (former secretary of state Mike) Pompeo are not tried in a fair court for the criminal act of assassinating General Soleimani, Muslims will take our martyr’s revenge,” Raisi said in a televised speech on Monday.

I agree with you. This repeated banning must stop, it is a sign of weakness. Or go ahead an ban me also. I was against banning of vk and I am against banning of black bread. Having a debate means hearing all arguments. Of course you can limit the number of posts per thread, but banning alltogether is wrong as long as the poster stays within the law.
Who does ‘misinformation’ and who does not is debatable, my opinion is that we hear a lot of misinformation here, even from the blog owner, but I would rather debate those issues.

yes, the most interesting thing about that list is how contradictory it is.
unless there is no contradiction between the creation of billionaires and poverty elimination. unless there is no contradiction between the weapons industry required to develop hypersonic missiles, et multi al, and the risible notion of “greening” a modern economy. unless all the “development” listed doesn’t actually accelerate environmental collapse and ruination. more nuclear plants! more dams! more 5G! faster computers! more “renewable” energy. more pipelines! the richest country in the world, or one of them, needs cheaper gas, don’t you know? everyone at MoA agrees to that. the US will solve its transportation needs and eliminate auto pollution with 500,000 new electric cars! right after we knock off another gov’t so “private businessman” Elon Musk can steal their lithium and brag about how great the “free market” is…i suppose it’s a good thing that China gives better financial terms as it goes and fucks African nations out of their natural resources. saves bombing them, which is the US way.

Paco @116–
Buenos Dias!! Thanks for your reply. I see we have two very welcome notes this morning from Global Times. The first is about a very unexpected joint statement, “China leads in five-state joint statement on preventing nuclear war, arms race,” from all five UNSC veto holders:
“For the first time, the leaders of China, France, Russia, the UK and the US on Monday issued a joint statement on preventing nuclear war and avoiding arms races, in which China played a powerful leading role, and pushed for the reaffirmation of not aiming nuclear devices at each other or at any other state.
“The joint statement by the five Nuclear-Weapon States – also the five UN Security Council permanent members – will set the mind of the international community at ease at a time when the international strategic security is facing many major challenges, Chinese experts said on Monday.
“According to the joint statement, the five countries consider the avoidance of war between Nuclear-Weapon States and the reduction of strategic risks as their foremost responsibilities, and they affirm that a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought, the Xinhua News Agency reported on Monday.” [My Emphasis]
Such a statement ought to have been declared 50 years ago, but better late than never. In a related editorial, “A China in peace, prosperity is a blessing to the world”, China’s contributions to global stability in 2021 are reviewed with the real groin-kick aimed at the Imperialist West/Outlaw US Empire saved for the final paragraph:
“The river is rushing and the road is far. In the new year, on the new journey of building a modern socialist country in a comprehensive way, China will continue to bring benefits to its people and make contributions to the world. That is because China is ‘a country with its amicable and respectable people, a country developing rapidly with each passing day, and a country making continual progress in all its undertakings.’ That is because we are walking on a path of Chinese-style modernization: We will get rid of the Western logic that ‘a strong country will seek hegemony’ and insist on peaceful development.” [My Emphasis]
All the propaganda aimed at China over the past decade has consisted of Projection by current or former Imperialist nations, none of whom promote their citizenry over corporate profits. China’s path to establishing as close to a level/equitable socio-economic society as possible is THE GREAT FEAR of all those nations, just as it’s been the fear of all elites since Babylon 4,000 years ago and forms the fundamental basis of the ongoing Class War between Creditors and Debtors.
A very important question thus arises: Will BigLie Media herald the UNSC-5’s Joint Statement and call it an excellent advancement toward a peaceful future, or will they spin it as a surrender to Russia and China, and thus a show of weakness from Biden et al?

An extremely apt Global Times political cartoon that’s valid globally, not just in Okinawa.
Highlighted passages of Xi Jinping’s New Years Address, closing with the emphasis yet again on building a global “community with a shared future for mankind.” What western politico speaks of such a vision?
And last we have this Infographic, “What losses have US companies suffered as the US suppresses China?”, you’ll want to enlarge to read and note that the comments are from the last third of 2021, particularly the one saying the Trade War against China is costing the Outlaw US Empire’s economy hundreds of billions each year that exacerbates the already steeply declining economy.

@ dh-mtl | Jan 3 2022 4:56 utc | 109.. okay thanks…. if this doesn’t happen in 2022, will you be revising your overview on the warring factions within the usa? i can’t see it making much difference myself, as both groups are self serving and don’t give a rats ass about the usa, or world for that matter… it is only a matter of time before the whole edifice comes crumbling down.. i think we are watching it in real time myself.. i think 2022 is premature at this point, but i would be happy to be wrong… using war as a means to get out of a jam is not unusual, but i don’t think this will work, even if it is tried.. i am not sure it is going to be tried.. i kind of doubt it in fact…
@ waynorinorway | Jan 3 2022 12:49 utc | 135… thanks for the marsalis link… i find his regurgitating of the old school of jazz a bit tiring, in spite of the high level of musicianship.. as to your more concerning issues addressed by you and a number of people on censorship, banning of posters and etc.. here are my thoughts..
it’s b’s blog… it is essentially a dictatorship run by one guy.. he makes the decisions and draws a line in the sand in order for him to maintain what he believes is right for his website.. in fact, a number of very intelligent posters are not beneath taking regular pot shots at b… take a look @ 5 BM as an example… he ungraciously compares him to Doctorow, while taking a swipe at him over his covid position… of course it isn’t lost on posters like myself how BM keeps on coming back to moa… the fact is b is very good at reporting on a number of topics, not just russia for example where doctorow is more of an authority on..
but lets get to my subtle – or not so subtle swipe at grieved… in the previous thread librul shared some lame post from american thinker, or american conservative on how china allowed international flight, or some stupid bullshit like that… no… the whole world was fine with international flight from and to anywhere on the planet at the beginning.. grieved however came and praised librul for various covid links.. and b came afterwards and deleted them.. fast forward to this thread and we see grieved immediately supporting black bread for whatever covid posts he made – he made a lot, but b banning him.. he has warned librul in this post too… what i say to grieved and BM is it is b’s website and it is his prerogative to allow or disallow any poster as he sees… posters might not like this, but ultimately it is b’s website.. and for the record i personally find b very tolerant of different positions and viewpoints… maybe he is not okay with a lot of covid links from the same posters on the open threads, but again – it’s his website.. no one is perfect.. if someone is asking b to be perfect, they ought to first start with themselves.. thanks again for the marsalis link.. it has been going in the background the whole time i write this!
we’ve had a lot of drive by commentators over the years.. the animosity and conflict seemed to ramp up significantly during the trump era and basically continued on with covid.. some of us are beyond tired of it all… but, it’s a free world! if someone wants to just talk about covid 24-7 – i really don’t care… i know how to skip over posts! apparently others do too, lol!! good!! cheers james

Censorship breeds conspiracy theories. Once a fake news story gets censored, it can no longer be debunked. It took me some extra googling to debunk this story. On a page named “Concerned Doctors” one can find this:

Patterns in the Deployment of Toxic Covid Vaccine Batches – admin, NOV 30, 2021
⁣VAERS database provided the batches in time sequence, and has records of all the adverse reactions assoiciated with each batch.
So it was a simple task to create a graph showing how toxicity of the batches varied with time over the entire year of 2021.
From the graph we can see when toxic batches were deployed, and how toxic they were.

The embedded video is missing. Censored, was my first reaction. Wayback Machine still has a copy, with a link to the original channel on Brand New Tube that posted it. The channel by Craig Paardekooper has six other videos on the topic. He has also posted a PDF summary on Rense.com.
The allegation is that some vaccine batches are far more toxic than others. Paardekooper has downloaded all adverse reactions from the VAERS database and calculated the number of times each batch number appears in the data. Some batch numbers have over 3000 reaction, while the wast majority is recording only one. An interesting finding!
Unfortunately it is false. Most of the 10,000 batch numbers are just spelling mistake done when manually transcribing the number. For example, *all* Moderna batch numbers end in 20A or 21A.

@Karlofi 156
The media spin it as an example of their own superiority and benevolent understanding whilst simultaneously re-imaging the meaning of the term ‘war’ to exclude either ‘limited’ or first strike scenarios and refusing to sign anything or agreeing to any form of verification.
You’ll also note the statement didn’t mention the further development of nuclear arsenals.
“we also affirm that nuclear weapons—for as long as they continue to exist—should serve defensive purposes, deter aggression, and prevent war. We believe
strongly that the further spread of such weapons must be prevented.”
Nasty little line eh?

China reaches new milestone in its fusion research:
“The Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST), China’s nuclear fusion device known as an ‘artificial sun’, has set a new record for sustained high temperatures, according to Xinhua News Agency.
The simulation in Hefei ran for 1,056 seconds (17 minutes, 36 seconds) at 70 million degrees – five times hotter than the actual sun, which hits about 15 million degrees in its core.”
But here’s the more important news:
“Institute of Plasma Physics director Song Yuntao was cited as saying:
“‘[The experiment] once again challenged the world record. We have comprehensively validated the technology, driving it a major step forward from basic research to engineering applications.’
“He added that five years from now, the scientists hoped to start building their fusion reactor, which may take approximately ten years.
“‘After that is built we will construct the power generator and start generating power by around 2040,’ he added.” [My Emphasis]
Okay, now we can add this info to that of the China/Russia joint moon base project that’s aimed at mining He3, which will be used as the fuel to power fusion reactors–AND–both nation’s carbon reduction programs, which aim at becoming carbon neutral soon after, @2050.
I’m certain this news will excite our engineering cadre here at the bar. I’m excited by the historical and civilizational aspects this promises.

Again RoS, thank you for that.
Reading further it’s looking like the proverbial hot potato…

A spokesperson said that Blair had been appointed a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, the oldest and most senior British Order of Chivalry, by the Queen and not the Government.
As such, the Cabinet Office said that any inquiry about a removal of Blair’s honour should go to Buckingham Palace. It also declined to reveal if any complaints had been received.
However, Buckingham Palace said that the process to remove a knighthood had “nothing to do with” them. A spokesperson said it was “certainly a matter for the Government”.
In turn, the Cabinet Office insisted that the palace was “in the wrong about that”. A spokesperson said that UK Government policy officers had insisted Buckingham Palace was in control of any review of the awarding of the honour.
Asked if that were the case and what the procedure might be, Buckingham Palace declined to comment further.
Blair’s knighthood has been the focus of much debate after it was announced late on Hogmanay.
Green MSP Ross Greer suggested the former prime minister “deserves a trial at the Hague rather than a knighthood”.
However, Commons speaker Lindsay Hoyle said that giving Blair the honour was the “respectful and … the right thing to do”.
Appointments to the Garter are in the Queen’s gift and are typically announced on St George’s Day in April. However, the monarch can pick any other point to do so.

What a family!
Prince of wales…..Jimmy Savile and his child rapes in Glencoe “certainly a matter for the Government”.
Duke of York…….Child trafficking “certainly a matter for the Government”.
Queen Elizabeth..Blair Knighthood “certainly a matter for the Government”.
Now back to read karlof’s posts for today!

Those who decry the rampant and accelerating censorship so evident in social media and yet support b’s similar actions are hypocrites. If you argue that the censorship by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the like is not OK because they are much more influential than MoA you are saying size matters.
Posted by: waynorinorway | Jan 3 2022 12:43 utc | 134

Nope. It is not a question of size. There is a difference in nature. There is no Mr Twitter or Mr YouTube giving their opinions on geopolitics. Twitter is a social network, a host. It is not a blogger. A social network goes out of its role if it behaves as if it were some kind of a human being.

Your taking your conclusion for a fact.
I’ve been giving a hard look at Paardekooper’s observations, including reproducing/verifying his results. Rock solid so far. His main point holds: manufacturers put out at the very least 3 very inconsistent products, at worse they are engaging in toxicity Dose Range Finding. The typo excuse does not hold water because it is very improbable for the same mistake occurring in every state for extended series of lot numbers as a typo. The coding patterns are consistent per each manufacturer, well beyond a common typo that could be explained by multiple fat fingers on close together keyboard keys.

“The true origin of the Order of the Garter is lost in time, but it was a joke. A certain Countess of Salisbury (which one exactly is unclear) lost her garter during a riotous dance – probably to celebrate the capture from the Scots of Wark Castle. Edward III picked it up and put it on his own leg, with the infamous (though certainly invented) quip “evil be to him who evil thinks”. As the countess was probably Edward’s mistress, this was a definite try on.
The actual Order of the Garter refers to a group of Edward’s closest cronies. The openly sexual reference suggests the boys were having a good time as well as invading Scotland and exploiting the local peasants.”

Wasn’t the “Royal” Droit de Cuissage, given to ALL “Nobles” fighting for the English when they tried to take over Scotland, (at the time of Wallace/Edward I,) and wasn’t that one of the things that made the whole war so bitter?
*
Anyway, I thought the garter just slipped, and he slid it back up again. Nobody wore knickers in those days, so she didn’t get them in a twist about it.

I watched through the data in the Excel sheet on this video: Covid Vaccine Batch Numbers Code for their Level of Toxicity.

  1. If there was a “non-toxic” batch, maybe even one that contained nothing but salt water, we should see hundreds of adverse reactions reported, instead of the ones or twos we see. The point of a reporting system is to record all possible reactions, without speculating if or not the vaccine was the root cause.
  2. Look through the data yourself. Can you find a patch number that does not end in 20A or 21A? No. For example batch 004M20A (1793 reports) is also registered as 004M204 (12), 004m2014 (3), 004M208 (2), 004m201a (2), 004M0A (1), 004M209 (1), 004M2077 (1), 004M2019 (1), 004M201 (1), 004M200A (1), 004M20 H (1), 004M20! (1), 004M2 (1), 004M20A/004M204 (1), 004M20A and 13 (1), 004M20I (1), and some ten other variations. None of these random variations constitutes a valid batch number.

Karl you have better things to do. I know that and you know it too. I don’t care if you don’t get into it more.
But if you are referring to The MoA Week in Review – OT 2021-099 Posted by: Paco | Dec 21 2021 15:40 utc | 182, then I stand by my claim that Paco has not articulated his position re Black bread to any understandable degree. That bunch of garble is a not any more reliable than Bb’s later suspicion(in 233) that Paco is a ‘government lurker’.
I have re-read posts in that thread that have to do with Paco & Black bread. In case anyone wants to pursue:

But again, as I reminded Paco in my post @ Jan 3 2022 17:42 utc | 164, the issue is censorship.
And now as I lay me down to sleep I see that Paco has responded @Paco | Jan 3 2022 19:05 utc | 178 to my statement about him not articulating his problem with Black bread by passing on a few irrelevant links, in foreign languages even, and not even coming close to making clear his objection to Black bread. Nice, Paco, you disparage Bb with obscure BS. Yeah, the discussion is over. But not forgotten.

“…manufacturers put out at the very least 3 very inconsistent products, at worse they are engaging in toxicity Dose Range Finding.”

dh-mtl | Jan 2 2022 21:22 utc | 42… “2022 looks to be the year that will provide the climax to a 40 year process of economic and societal destruction at the hands of the ‘Globalist Elites’. Either they will be destroyed, or humanity can look forward to a regime of never-ending serfdom under their ‘benevolent’ dictatorship.”
**
It is very clear that there have been many rotten and devious manipulations during the Pandemic, and that some sort of accountability of these is long overdue.
The mass lying and mis-reporting are as much to blame for the present social situation as is the corvid itself. However, I am not going to put forward any arguments for or against, as you are all aware of them already.
What is important to notice at the moment, are the efforts of the “Upper crust” to distance themselves before the social uprisings unify and force a change, alternatively, The manipulations cause the elimination of a large proportion of the population. As specified by Gates and the other Eugenists. I don’t think they have thought it through what a billion illnesses or related deaths would be like.
According to earlier estimates of the length of time that Pfiz and Moderna could be considered efficace, and their subsequent reductions, (to zero?), it was thought that the first real signs would become visible in February and March 2022. These would be the appearance of Co-morbidities on a large scale. So an “extension” was sought by using Booster shots for what has turned out to be a series of limited time durations. 3 months according to the French Government. Continue as long as necessary?
However, I am not going further along that line of thought.
***
If I am right, then a war or some other form of collective discipline must be imposed on the mass. The Police violence and “simple” repression will not be enough. Vxx Passes, “find the nexus of any resistance and cut them off”, censorship of ANY thoughts that might lead to an general awakening, and a rejection of the present leadership(s).
Obviously a limited war (without Nukes) is only a stop-gap. Putting people under military discipline, will work as long as the threats against non-participants are credible and enforceable. A dictatorship can then find the time to install itself permanently.
****
All is rosy for the Top?.
Not really, as they need time to get to their respective holes. They need time to move gold out of the “safe-keeping” of the hoi poloi, cover their traces. Save their hides.
A small “widow of opportunity” remains for us to get rid of the insanity of a “one world (profitable) Sur’government”.

@ john | Jan 3 2022 18:30 utc | 172… am not in favour of regurgitating newer forms either… my feeling is musicians need to find their own voice and write their own music… but, we all have to start somewhere… wynton is not a composer… this link you provide – they play 3 songs and the last one is an original by the guitarist, but i would argue it is really a band composition, but just by the guitarist… his sound is reminiscent of metheny, but clearly there’s a holdsworth influence.. some of the guitarists i like today are jonathan kreisberg, julian lage, lage lund, mike moreno, chico pinheiro and others like that – gilad hekselman, etc. etc.. they are mostly doing their own music and a younger generation of great improvisers… i could rattle off a list of drummers, bassists and keyboard players, but then i would be missing all the horn players too – seamus blake, being one of the more obvious ones… i think the question jazz has to ask itself – ‘is jazz dead, or did it just move to a different address?’ some in the community want to recreate the past and turn jazz into some type of new classical music – marsalis reminds me of this, while others are constantly searching for new terrain and making something up that is unique… while i might not be able to know for sure, i tend to like exciting, cutting edge stuff and am okay with it being more mainstream, or avant garde, so long as it seems original… maybe i am fooling myself! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg7RhNYvMfc

Obvious in you face for the world to see systematic genocide, as occurring for the last hundred years in Palestine, would never trouble the likes of Australia’s embarrassment of a PM, Pastor Morrison.
Suddenly the happy clappy pastor has found a never before observed aspect of his brand of rapture/ prosperity cult fundamentalism: christian love for Muslims. Chinese muslims. Again, the facts are irrelevant:
“…What he [Pastor Morrison] has done is to follow the master in Washington, where the Biden administration had decided on a diplomatic boycott only a day before. When Joe Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki announced the boycott, the first reason mentioned was “genocide” against the Uyghurs. Fortunately, Morrison left out reference to “genocide”.As it happened, on December 9 an unofficial tribunal in the United Kingdom came out with a report with much discussion of whether there has been genocide among the Uyghurs. I take the report seriously but do not regard it as final. In the end it found only one definite reason for finding China guilty of genocide, namely the enforcement of sterilisation and birth control among the Uighurs. I don’t defend either of those but I couldn’t help reminding myself that for decades there was a one-child-per-couple policy among the Han, while most Uighurs, as an ethnic minority, were allowed to have an additional child…

I’ll address those points in reverse:
2. Yes. Check Pfizer LOTs Usually 2 letters + 4 numbers in sequence. For example the series “EN6198” through “EN6208” (no gaps), all of these have a toxicity 2000 to 3000 events above baseline (0 to 5 adverse reactions). But there is also the “ER8727” through “ER8737” series with toxicity levels from 1500 to 2500 above baseline.
Those “random” errors, in the Moderna code pattern, are not random at all, are easily explained by both typing and reading errors by the reporter. In any case when corrected for, those will compound on a LOT, not reduce the number of adverse reaction events to the baseline to be expected.
1. But there are non-toxic batches of course! Those constitute the baseline (between 0 to 5 adverse reactions). I would rather classify them with regular toxicity instead of “non-toxic”.
Of course Paardekooper is interested in the LOTs above that baseline, he is investigating the Coefficient of Variation that he must have stumbled upon. When you see the full graph with both the “normal” LOTs along with the “outliers” the respective proportions reveal agency not randomness or chance.

Fusion power has always been 20 years into the future. We shall see.

becoming carbon neutral soon after, @2050.

For what purpose? This is just ideology, it has no relation to any scientific truth.

I’m certain this news will excite our engineering cadre here at the bar.

I am an engineer. I am excited about the roles of Russia and China in the international community and the shifting power in the world. The two things you mention are promises, the first one is is an old promise that has never been fulfilled so far and the second is a meaningless way of making ordinary people poor based on fundamentally flawed science.

It is sad how many aussies repeat the mindless bs about China and the Uyghurs. They have zero enquiring mind, they have an education system that ensures that state.

Reuters must have interesting lunches in the executive lunch room.
“The chairman and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Reuters news agency – James C. Smith – is a top investor and board member for pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer. He was elected to the board in 2014, as well as joining Pfizer’s Corporate Governance and Science and Technology Committees. The news raises serious conflict of interest concerns as corporate media outlets such as Reuters continue to promote Pfizer products, defend pharmaceuticals companies from criticism, and move to silence skeptics. Smith is currently the Chairman of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the London-based charity known for providing news and information to billions of readers. He was also the President, Chief Executive Officer, and on the Board of Director of Reuters from 2012 until his retirement in 2020.”

Trusted News Initiative

On June 24, 2021, a report from the Oxford-based Reuters Institute revealed that trust in the US media – ranking last among 46 countries – had descended to an all-time low of 29%. Meanwhile, Canadian trust in media has sunk to 45%.[iv]
This downward spiral can only mean that people are going elsewhere for their news – a trend that has likely been accelerated by the emergence of a shadowy global censorship network called the Trusted News Initiative (TNI).
In July 2019, before the pandemic, the UK and Canadian governments hosted the FCO Global Conference on Media Freedom,[v] where then BBC Director-General Tony Hall announced:
“Last month I convened, behind closed doors, a Trusted News Summit at the BBC, which brought together global tech platforms and publishers. The goal was to arrive at a practical set of actions we can take together, right now, to tackle the rise of misinformation and bias….I’m determined that we use that [BBC] unique reach and trusted voice to lead the way – to create a global alliance for integrity in news. We’re ready to do even more to help promote freedom and democracy worldwide.”[vi]

LMAO. Not at all trustworthy in that case.

Norwegian @191–
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I’m being optimistic about fusion because humanity must come up with a long term viable substitute for finite fossil fuels, leaving aside the climate crisis issue, upon which we have opposing views. I report what I see happening because it’s a deliberate course of policy action. The combined Chinese/Russian Brain Trust is anticipating while it’s planning, which is something the West ought to have done beginning in the 1960s when the finite nature of fossil fuels became clear. Do recall the term Peak Oil was coined in the late 1950s which was about the time Colin Campbell began his own research into the topic.
Yes, fusion was always touted as The Future. When you’re constructing something from scratch for the first time, progress is going to be slow as additional features take awhile to design, construct then install, as in this example. Here’s the translated account:
“International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), one of the most ambitious energy projects in the world today, had its the first correction coil BCC/4 lowered into place on Oct.21.
“More than 40 scientists and engineers from ASIPP witnessed this remarkable moment on site. The coil, which is for correcting ‘magnetic field errors’, was shipped to iter last Sept. It’s made by ASIPP, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science.
“ASIPP engineers, who are responsible for the installation on site have been working on it for months. According to ITER, In the crowded environment of the lower Tokamak pit, the bottom correction coils and their supports have only a small sliver of space between poloidal field coil #6, poloidal field coil #5, lower magnet feeders, and staging platforms.
“Therefore, scientists and engineers measured the hoisting position repeatedly and carefully via various methods, such as laser tracker, to ensure that the hoisting position accuracy can meet the landing requirements of ±5mm.
“‘The successful installation of the BCC4 coil gave people more confidence,’ WU Weiyue, an engineer from ASIPP. The second ASIPP-made correction coil, BCC/5, was positioned in the pit on 26 October, followed in the coming months by two other bottom correction coil pairs.”
The correction coils made possible the intensity and endurance of the test the main news item reported.
I should also note that last September marked the beginning of Russian/Chinese Year of Scientific and Technological Innovation. Here’s the initial Chinese project plan for its
Magnetic Fusion Program
that was presented just over seven years-ago in Washington DC in 2014. Here’s the far more specific plan published in 2016. I’m sure you and other barflies will find both rather exciting.

2 years ago, Major General Qassem Soleimani was assassinated by the Empire. Iran’s response was to launch precision missile strikes on some US bases but with advance warning so that military infrastructure was destroyed without any loss of life.
In the case of Russia, Doctorow mentions that some precision strikes in Ukraine could be Putin’s response to the Empire’s stonewalling of his modest and reasonable demands. I wonder if Iran’s strikes could be a model for Russia. Give advance warning, then destroy whatever infrastructure you want destroyed. Or maybe the Russians dont care. Ukie lives matter?

Posted by: Robert Macaire | Jan 3 2022 22:58 utc | 196

Well, we have a winner!! Of the four, IMO that paper is the most relevant for barflies to peruse. On page 5, you’ll see the reactors, present and planned, EAST being the current “artificial sun” written about. The key remains to get more output energy than input energy. It does appear both Russian and Chinese scientists believe they can achieve their goal via the outlined plan.

@ john | Jan 3 2022 21:05 utc | 192.. yes , i noticed which was what reminded me of holdsworth… bottom line i am not all that impressed with technique… when i think about what i like about artists – zappa or metheny to name just 2 – i don’t think about being wowed by technique.. i am much more into the musical compositions… at present there are a zillion great players from a technical point of view, but i am just not moved by that anymore.. not sure if i ever was! the kid better start writing some interesting compositions to grab my attention… playing on wayne shorter songs from the 60’s or holdsworth songs from the 80’s isn’t enough to do it for me!

I discovered which link wasn’t being allowed. It’s a Power Point Presentation from 2014 that was conducted in Washington DC about China’s fusion program and details what’s one of the most complex machines I’ve ever seen, and as such is quite a marvel. On Yandex, search for China’s Fusion Program and you’ll see a PDF hit showing the URL containing fire.pppl, which you’ll click and begin to view.
There’s actually quite a lot of good info about this scientific endeavor available and seems a very reasonable use of the Outlaw US Empire’s war budget since it has no energy plan for the future. France is involved with China in this development, so not all EU nations can be called estupido.
