Label me a CT, but, some in Israel were probably well-informed (and early) about all monetary policy decisions of FOMC during Fischer’s service.

Your claim that US owns (I imagined, by that, you meant US corporations) 70% of Iraq’s oil well is patently false.
There has not been private ownership of oil wells in Iraq for decades.
Nor are the American corporations particularly well represented in the Iraqi oil industry as contractors or majors – those have gone to Europeans, Chinese, and the Russians.
Iraqis are focused very very sharply on the oil industry and operation; there is no way that anyone can rob them from what they consider their birthright.
US gained nothing from invading Iraq and destroying the Ba’ath government except:
More insecurity for Israel
Expanded Iranian power
Hatred of Iraqi Arabs
Enmity of the Shia
Shredded International Credibility

Don Bacon is absolutely correct in his description of the “news” provided by the corporate media/intelligence agencies/Pentagon/etc. And as far as “agency”, simply look at the last “election” held in the US, and the ongoing efforts by those in power to prevent any sort of public analysis of the results/rigged voting machines/rigged paper ballots/etc etc.
I can tell that more than half of Americans no longer believe their “agency” has any meaning. The government is imposed, the news is all propaganda and lies, the financial system and markets are entirely rigged, and the dollar is well into hyper-inflated oblivion.
And any armed revolt will the absolutely crushed, live on TV, as an example of what happens to all those small arms owners who think they can beat the state . . . helicopter gunships, armored personnel carriers, rockets, artillery . . . good luck defeating military/mercenary forces with your deer rifles, AR-15s and AK-47s.

I am saying that for the most part, Americans and Europeans (listen to Udo Ulfkotte ) are entirely brainwashed by their “news” as well as their educational systems. I agree that there still remains a moral responsibility on the part of citizens for the barbarous actions of their nations — but simply blaming brainwashed slaves for the actions of the masters amounts to a gross oversimplification that can be used to justify even more butchery.

Ordinary people have been trying to end the endless wars here for a hell of a long time. The last president who tried to do so, JFK, was murdered as a result.

The first one (2000) was definitely by cheating. Al Gore won those elections and should have been the President of the United States of America from 2001 to 2005. There was a little bit of protest over the fact but Al Gore quickly accepted and thus legitimated the result after the verdict of the SCOTUS.
The 2004 was an easy victory by George W. Bush. Everybody knew beforehand he would be reelected after the nationalist fervor and huge initial successes of the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. Indeed, those were so successful initially that George W. Bush planned to invade more countries at the end of his second term (North Korea was ventilated but discarded while he was still in office; Iran and maybe Venezuela).

Yes, I will comment, since both sides are doing their best to kill civilians with rockets, and the Izzies are clearly much better at it, it seems pointless to bring that up in the context of the fact the Izzies are also using white phosphorus shells, and the Gazans are not, since they don’t have any.

The right of people to resist colonial occupation by armed struggle is recognised by international law. Occupying powers almost always try to delegitimize armed resistance to their occupation by labelling the resistors as “terrorists”.

No problem Id, I make the same mistake myself once in a while and after all one really can’t know for sure about anyone. That aside I share your view on the importance of jews standing up against Israel or at the very least the crimes Israel commits.
There might not be any way forward without violence however if there is one with less or no violence then it must involve at least that, or so it seems to me.
