Thank you for that link to the Nature paper. Very interesting reading. There was a reference to the fact that people with a severe reaction to SARS-CoV-2 had a higher level of antibodies which in turn could aggravate or cause virus-associated lung pathology. Was creating a high level of antibodies against this virus not the goal of the experimental gene therapy treatments?

The problem with American police officers is that they can encounter a person with the right to carry a firearm at any time. Suspect farts : officer shoots, and will not prosecuted because the jury will decide that he may have believed he was threatened.
And that’s how genuine psychopaths can murder the first person they meet with impunity.

I am not the best person to help with this. Have read the paper three times all the way through and keep checking back. So much is beyond me.
However, a few things that might get you started.The vaccines aim to provoke production of just one antibody. That antibody is somewhat useful. And can also have unwanted effects. First line of defense against a viral infection is not antibodies, it is t-cells. There are lots of varieties of t-cells. I can’t keep them all straight. But t-cells first antibodies later.
It is a lot easier to test a sample for antibodies than to test t-cells for how they respond or don’t respond to an antigen. T-cells produce antibodies. They also attack virus directly, some keep it simple and kill infected cells. Understanding all avenues is important. Immunity is complex and multi-layered. The single vector tactic of our extant vaccines is not much.
To all who have attempted to read, thanks. The Nature Immunology article was published in print January 2021. Published online September 2020. Paper originally submitted June 2020. From research done before June 2020. So of course they mention no vaccine. In reality there is still no vaccine, it is abuse of the language to call any of the main inoculations vaccines. What I keep coming back to is the finding that 81% of the general population has substantial pre -existing immunity.
We also all have, or most of us have, substantial immunity to the common cold, which is a coronavirus. And we still get sick. Doesn’t that much matter how great our t-cells and antibodies are, First the infection takes hold, then the immune system gets busy. Lungs are easy to infect. Before your immune system knocks out the cold you get sick and shed buckets of virus, infecting those around you. Covid will not be different. Young people, thin people, people in good basic health all have an easier time of it with common colds. The old, obese, hypertensive, diabetic, all have a harder time with the common cold. Covid will be the same.

Didn’t it occur to you that police officers are confronted most of the time with delinquents rather than with cheerleaders or the Red Cross?
Blacks are about 14 % of the population, and over 50% of murder offenders.
It is not because the statistics are structurally racist.
The why can be discussed (like you, I see purely social causes), but cannot be denied.
It seems to me that on this site, barflies make an effort not to match reality to their desires or fantasy.

there is a word in Russian: презренье. It roughly translates as “contempt” but it’s much harsher. USA has презренье toward Russia and Russia for some reason doesn’t understand it or refuses to understand it. Thus, no real communication between the two is possible due to презренье. Russia shouldn’t even waste its time with USA; USA will never listen to them, will only try to cheat and will lie to them as much as possible. When you dont have respect toward somebody they mean nothing to you.

I also made it to about 37 minutes before deciding he was treading way too far into the political conspiracy world for me to continue. He made some interesting and seemingly valid points prior to that, but it really took a left turn there.
This having been said, he was never the “chief scientist of Phizer.” He did run a division dedicated to asthma and chronic respiratory conditions, and he had the title of VP of that division as well as starting up another company that was acquired by another multinational pharma firm, but he was never a specialist in vaccines or infectious diseases, nor was he the overall VP of Phizer or its Chief Scientist (I have no idea whether such a position even exists). I was aware of him prior to your post, and it was when I did some further digging, I wondered to myself why it was so important for one side of the COVID issue to change up his title and role to confer additional perceived credibility. He has also refused requests from Reuters and another outlet that I am aware of for interviews, which to me is odd. Clearly Reuters has a pro-corporate, pro-NATO, pro-neocon/neolib agenda, but to not even grant an interview? I wish I knew more about him, but you would have to subtract a LOT of the deaths attributed to COVID-19 (and for which there was no other explanation other than another virus, pneumonia (caused by?), or severely compromised immune system) for his initial predictions to come across as credible. His predictions were way off the mark (too low).
Also, the numbers in Brazil and India right now tell a different story, and what valid reasons would those countries have to lie about them? Both of those countries didn’t do much of a lockdown and Bolsonaro encouraged the spread of whatever this virus really is from the start. It’s not international/corporate media where I’m reading most of the stories about those places either.
I guess we’ll all have to hope for the best for ourselves and friends/families and that in a year or two from now there will be more accurate and plentiful analyses of what really happened.

Regardless of racial angle, American police shoots way to much and all to often, is unnecessarily brutal. Last January there was a ridiculous example in Rochester, NY. Police came to a black household to question mom about something (that part is murky). 9 year old daughter run out shouting “I want my Dad”, and Rochester finest managed to put her under control by throwing her face down on the snowy ground and cuffing her hands behind her back. Then they put her on the back seat of the patrol car, while the girl kept shouting “I want my Dad”. HOWEVER, they could not close the door as the girl put her feet out to obstruct it. She was admonished “do not behave like a child”, but answered “I am a child” (seems that she had more brains than her captor). So they pepper sprayed her face and made her wait more than 20 minutes for medical aid (couldn’t they wash her face with the snow?).
Any parent knows how to handle his/her child without handcuffs and pepper spray, and could get a hell of trouble by resorting to those aids. In public, no less. But not the police. No wonder that any type of a larger problem, say, involving someone 13 years old or even older, can escalate with fatal results. For example, a citizen is found on a sidewalk, asleep. After a while, several patrol cars are engaged including a canine unit and eventually the culprit (sleeping on a sidewalk is arrestable infraction) is clobbered to death.

Yeadon – what to make of this man? My take is that he is a sincere and decent man whose eyes have been opened by a light far brighter than he ever dared to think he would see. He’s correct in many things, but the trick for all of us in our concern for survival is to know where he’s correct and where he makes a leap too far. Especially considering that, one day, his warnings may be the only words left standing in a new feudal age, with its decimated population brought low by serial pandemics, possibly contrived but certainly exploited.
Most people come to the red pill by stages, and take it in some pivotal event, like Neo with Morpheus or like the first time someone dropped acid – and so they cross over into seeing the Matrix they’ve been living in as reality all this time. But some people evolve through innocent observation, immersion and reflection and suddenly find themselves with a mind full of the unthinkable, trying to make sense of a Matrix that insists on revealing itself, and I suspect Michael Yeadon is such a person.

One commenter at that link said that he trusted Michael’s epidemiology but not so much his political analysis. I agree. Yeadon has been thrown into a situation where everything he observes about this pandemic rings so untrue to him that he can only go to the ultimate conclusion that the rulers of the world are conspiring to kill the majority of the population, in order to solve multiple resource and wealth-distribution challenges.
One is tempted to agree with the suspicion. Let me say that again – one is tempted to agree with the suspicion.
I think Michael Yeadon is not the most seasoned prophet in this field – we can read plenty of far more nuanced views – but also that he may be on something like the right track.
When I listen to him and look at him in video, he seems like a decent, geeky scientist faced with a horror bigger than he thought possible. And as he says himself, he’s only recently realized that he’s in a kind of a trap. He’s trying to get out of the trap by surrendering wholesale to what he sees as truth, and this is his only anchor in a world revealed suddenly as insane. It’s a very brave and very untrod path he’s taken, I suspect. I feel very sad for him, and protective of him, and of course grateful that good people still exist.
He’s adrift in a world of the Body Snatchers and he’s one of the few who didn’t fall into the capturing sleep yet, but he fears its approach.

It is very clear that there is an agenda worldwide to vaccinate the population either by hook or crook.
In India the spread is beyond control and there is community spread. Still testing is being carried out
for record purposes. In another one or two months the people will either get natural immunity or there

Amen to that. I guess Yeadon has read the depth of his isolation from the attitude of his still working peers and their refusal to speak out. It takes a mere virus to destroy a kingdom when honesty is asleep.
However I was reassured by his blunt myth busting proposals about the variance ‘theory’ necessitating top ups. I can also see why the west is so adamantly blocking the traditional vaccine science implemented by Russia, China and others and its silence on the Ziverdo kit by Dr Borody. This entire fiasco is at least about gouging the public dollar into the corporate treasure house and national governments in the west are gung ho for that strategy. Sickening.

Anyone else caught this insanity? It’s over a TV show called “Viewpoint” about police surveillance & not since “The Conversation” in 1974 have I seen a good attempt to consider the fine line between subject and object, how by being an observer you actually become a participant, until I watched a couple of episodes of “Viewpoint”.
Then this happens:
“ITV cancels tonight’s Viewpoint finale in light of Noel Clarke allegations ‘It is no longer appropriate to broadcast the final episode,’ spokesperson said”
Like most crime cop shows Viewpoint is a whodunnit in this case across several levels observer & participant, but just like the ‘evil’ bloke in Bedazzled who gets his rocks off tearing the last page out of all the mystery novels in public libraries, ITV management have elected to deny their viewers the opportunity to discover *what happens* in the last episode of their show. The audience had sat through so many commercials in the first 4 episodes, ITV prolly already made a profit.
Why do this? The alleged sexual harasser still got paid for all his work including the banned episode, the only types effected by this crazy call are loyal viewers.
N.B. as a downloader I managed to get the final episode from usenet/torrent sources so I’m OK & I didn’t get subjected to any commercials from any episodes.
However decent *law abiding folk* have once again copped the rough end of the pineapple & everyone (read the news reports) seems to think it normal.
All that will happen from this is more people will be pissed off at sexual harassment ‘witch hunts’. Is that the object? Make calling arseholes to account, a game not worth the candle so degenerate elites have no worries?

About Yeadon, the website itself “planet lockdown” says all. Many places are not and have not been in lockdown, but the Western MSM tell everywhere govs have adopted their prevention model (starting with the interdiction of cultural events!) to have people swallow the bitter medicine. In fact, even in Europe, some countries have left museums open and continued to have cultural events.
What he says about the sanitary passport is true, but sounds much too late! France is experimenting it for travels to Corsica (vaccine or test), UK and Israel have put it in place, and the EU has been discussing it at the parliament to pretend it has a democratic function, but explained at the higher level since weeks already that it will be ready for 15 june.

The US of course want to have it for travellers, and they will claim that it was the EU and IATA who asked for it…
The small problem is that, unlike UK and Isr, they haven’t offered the vaccination to ppl under 60, in most countries, because of lack of doses. So it sounds hard to implement something that will allow only the boomers to attend concerts, go to museums or travel.
The EU probably found a way here to control the movement of refugees a little better without having to let them drown at sea or starve them in refugee camps.
But after all we’ve seen in one year, this may just happen.
On top of that, fake “negative tests” are easy to get.
I guess those who can’t travel or have access to non-TV culture will be left with the option of demonstrating.

Thanks for the link on krystal ball hammering Bill Gates and his defense of patent protection. I went through a few months when I watched her and Saagar almost every night, bought their book and read half of it, then finally got tired of their show– mostly tired of how she created space for sortof lost right wing populist nerds along with the less palatable sold out DNC smarties. I keep hoping she’ll walk away and be her own woman. That said, her take on Bill Gates is spot on and should be a required watch in every 7th grade curriculum.

The main public figure involved in Plan Colombia who is still active–sort of– is Joe Biden. He was Bill Clinton’s toady back then along with Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond.

As a matter of interest r.e.Orthodox Choir music.
My late mother was the choir mistress in the Enismore Gardens, London, Russian Orthodox Church under the auspices of the Patriarchate of Moscow and the administration of the late Metropolitan Anthony Bloom from the late fifties, sixties and into the seventies.
As a professional musician she transcribed all the chants into modern musical script and they were sent to Moscow.
My understanding is her work made the organisation of Byzantian Church music as introduced by Peter the Great much more, for want of a better word, standardised throughout the Russian Dioceses.

Did you bother to read the Lancet article? By their reasoning the best course should have been elimination of the virus. Presumably they mean extinction. Until the virus is extinct local and regional (national) campaigns to ‘eliminate’ the virus must continue. Continue until the end of time. The Lancet article posits ‘civic solidarity’ that enables said elimination.
Civic solidarity does not exist in the West. It just does not matter if the observer is a Marxist of the proper school, a petty bourgeois or a covidiot. There ain’t no civic solidarity here. A course of action that depends on a toolbox that does not exist is just a pipe dream.

Calmette-Guérin vaccine is exceedingly rare in US. For foreign born citizens and residents this is a real concern. Older patients are more likely to have had a BCG inoculation, and of course they are the most at risk. There is testing to determine if an individual has had a BCG.
Endless quibbles and quiddities. Risk applies to those who self medicate. There is risk in having a doctor who is a moron. In general ivermectin is far safer than normal tap water. Safer than much fresh air.

Ultimately govt of India has decided to use ivermectin in case of asymptomatic and mild covid cases but it is a govt circular/advisory and no publicity has so far given in media unlike jab news which covered daily in front pages of newspapers and prime TV news.
