Entrusting Silicon Valley oligarchs to police speech on the social media platforms that dominate the exchange of information is gonna turn out great for the left for sure. No concerns here
I remember when Instagram and Facebook removed leftist videos about the elections in Bolivia following last year’s fascist coup. I’m sure that was just an accident and more of that won’t happen.
Also the many many many Palestinian posts and accounts that have been censored for challenging Israeli criminality surely isn’t coordinated or intentional, no reason to be concerned, really. Daddy Zuck and Jack are just trying to protect our minds from bad ideas 🙏🏽

I think he's lost his mind, I hope the Russians are not too rude to him.

Yes, and I think it is the mind of those guys, who just wanted to enjoy their private estates in peace - them and their slaves in perfect harmony, a small harem, a few platoons of laborers and personal servants - that still animates our billionaires. Trump has his own "body man".
Yes, I agree, I don't think top down reform is an option any longer. If a person of suitable temperament were to come along I might change my mind, but I don't see anybody now. I had some hopes for Biden but he looks more panic-stricken than determined. I suppose it's good if they are smart enough to be afraid.

You think they view us with contempt. Well I know that's true. Whether that equates to the lack of imagination I am seeing, not so much. They have the power, they could do something with it. What do they choose? These are the people who believe that Jeff bezos really "earned it". So they leave it up to Bezos to decide. Pikers.

The result of Putin's Covid Conference I linked to above is now known--Russia will move on to "Mass Vaccinations" from merely large scale, all using Sputnik-5. Close to two million Russians have already been vaccinated. Putin praised the fact that thanks to Sputnik-5 not requiring any special storage or transport regime it will be easier to provide to throughout the massive breadth of Russia.

developing verses developed nation is an imf description that keeps the control in the hands of the developed nations... it is all about control thru the use of language..

james @305--
Thanks for your reply, james, as it reminded me of an essay I wrote twenty-some years ago--Imperialism of Semantics--or something like that. As I recall, I used an Adult versus Child metaphor that was also employed by the US Government during the decolonization era that followed WW2. I also think FDR used it when he ceased the robbery of Dollar Diplomacy with what he called the Good Neighbor Policy. Such a distinction has also been fielded against the Outlaw US Empire by nations with histories many times older like China and Russia.
thanks karl - james... it is funny how words are sometimes used to beat others over the head... the word is more powerful the sword as the saying goes...

I've been requested by one of my VK Friends to post this link to a video recorded in front of the US Senate Building on the 6th. Unfortunately, it appears TypePad doesn't like links to bitchute and put my comment into the spam queue, so it will be up to b to release it if he desires.
will keep an eye out for it.. thanks.. there were a few posted a day or two after from a poster here - but it is on an earlier thread.. it showed the police letting protesters into the capital building and also moving the barricades so they could get in..

On this Keiser Report, we get told of the dollar's further slide and rise of commodities followed by a conversation with Steve Keen who mentions the historical reason why international finance is a mess because of abuse of the dollar as reserve currency by the Fed. That would be Keynes proposal of what he called a Bancor. Further discussion of private versus public debt and his proposal to control carbon makes this episode quite interesting with almost no mention of Bitcoin.
I should also mention that Shadowstats has posted its year ending inflation report, which has a connection to the failing dollar. The release of its major economic report was delayed again until hopefully tomorrow.

Where'r the Brits ?
They had a pivotal role, psyop is their forte,
'imminent coup by commies and their Chinese allies, arms supplies from Beijing'.
A bloodbath ensued.
Rivers were choked with mountains of dead, bodies were washed up to the front lawn of Brit embassy.
Its hell on earth.
While the [[[human rights champ]]] went awol.
The op was huge.
Lots of troop movements going on.
Royal navy was there to lend a hand, HMS LIBERTY escorted the death squads to their killing fields.
A gleam of light was shinning thru Asia.
NO sooner than the carnage stopped when the hyenas were already salivating for the feast.
Sir Andrew Gilchrist, the British ambassador in Jakarta
I have never concealed from you my belief that a little shooting in Indonesia would be an essential preliminary to effective change," ,
British FM Michael Stewart
Its the "great potential opportunities to British exporters" that were on offer from a new regime, so Britain should "try to secure a slice of the cake".
Perfect team work from FUKUSAustralia.
Thats right, the same actors breathing down Beijing's neck today, fretting over the well being of Chinese of every hue, be it Uighurs, Tibetans, HKers......

"Now you are just being clever. I'm not a Marxist. I think what was intended at the time was minimal government, a government whose main purpose was to maintain the property rights and political control of the current "owners""
I'm not being clever, I'm just telling you what I think.
Business-government relations, politics as they relate to socioeconomic conditions, the core principles of it, this is the subject of political economy.
The model emerged in the 1780s, Madison's musings, as well as today's relationship between business and government, this is all political economy.
You look at the surface (what you call 'corruption' and 'bribes'), and you think you understand something. But that's a bit like thinking that the wind blows because the trees are swaying (as they say).
Or that's my opinion, anyway. YMMV.

@ Steven 236
"The US has steadily lost its share of manufacturing over the decades of military Keynesianism. "
Why, yes it has. What's your point?
Why don't you think about what you want to write for a second, before you start typing it?
"As I said, the money printing resumed in 2019, after the December crisis."
The lowest unemployment rate in 50 years (not 60, that was my mistake) was registered in October 2019, after a long period of quantitative tightening.
Here's the chart: https://specials-images.forbesimg.com/imageserve/5df13869e961e1000738da09/960x0.jpg?fit=scale
"Blind worship of statistics... "
Right. Blind worship of steven t johnson's gut feeling is a much better approach. Thank you for schooling me, dear Steven.
"The lowest unemployment rate when labor force participation rates have declined means it is dishonest to interpret them as the lowest unemployment rates"
Whoa, 'dishonest', eh? You sound desperate. Demagogic even, I'm sorry to say.
"...especially given the long history of Mao Cheng Jis playing games with the statistics"
What 'games'? Citation needed.
"Further, real wages count."
Here's a chart of long-term real wages:

In 2019 it was the highest in 50 years, and (it looks like) matching the all-times record. Satisfied?
