Biden Elected, Barr Out, Dems Cave On Covid Aid

The relevant authority has finally called the U.S. presidential election:

President of Russia @KremlinRussia_E - 8:43 UTC · Dec 15, 2020

Joseph R. Biden @JoeBiden has been declared the winner of the US presidential election. Congratulations from Vladimir Putin:

Vladimir Putin sent a message to Joseph R. Biden congratulating him on his victory in the presidential election in the United States of America.

This comes after a majority of electors had voted for Joe Biden:

All 538 electors voted Monday in the Electoral College, formalizing President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election. Their votes will next be sent to Washington to be counted by Congress on January 6.

Hawaii's four electors voted shortly after 7 p.m. to make the final tally 306 Electoral College votes for Mr. Biden to 232 for President Trump. At 5:30 p.m. ET, California's electors cast their state's 55 Electoral College votes for Mr. Biden, putting him over the 270 needed to win.

Despite that Trump will certainly continue to put the election results in doubt. That and nearly everything else he will do during the next 35 days is already part of his 2024 reelection campaign.

That Trump has plans to muck up things a bit more is possibly a reason why Attorney General William Barr resigned today:

Attorney General William Barr has resigned with a little more than a month left in President Donald Trump’s administration. This seems to suggest that Barr thinks what happens in the next five weeks could irretrievably tarnish his legacy.
...
Say Trump issues a blanket pardon for all ICE agents during his presidency. Or for his family members. Or for himself. There would be no way Barr could avoid looking like he had gone along with it — short of resigning in protest.

In other words, instead of the attorney general insulating the president by recommending pardons, the president would be discrediting the attorney general by issuing outrageous pardons without the top lawyer’s consent.

The same would be true of any executive orders issued by the White House over the objections of the Office of Legal Counsel at Justice.

I am not sure that those are the real reasons why Barr is leaving. Trump was probably keen to see him go especially after it was revealed that Barr had kept a long running Justice Department's investigation of Hunter Biden secret. Had that investigation 'leaked' early enough it would have been excellent campaign material. By holding back, Barr essentially prevented Trump from winning:

President Trump on Saturday excoriated Attorney General William P. Barr, castigating him on Twitter for not violating Justice Department policy to publicly reveal an investigation into President-Elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s son.
...
In three tweets, Mr. Trump called the attorney general a “big disappointment” and denounced him for not disclosing the existence of an investigation into Hunter Biden for possible tax evasion, which he said would have given Republicans an edge in the election.

By leaving now Barr avoids his "You're fired!" moment.

Meanwhile the Democrats have caved in during the Covid-19 relief negotiations:

With the election over, the Democratic leadership in the space of a few weeks somehow negotiated against themselves, working with Republicans to push the total amount of a Covid-19 relief deal further and further downward, to the point where previous plans offered by the likes of Mitch McConnell and Steve Mnuchin now look like LBJ’s Great Society.

Democrats ultimately settled for less than a third of what they had set as a baseline for state and local aid, accepted a package without any $1,200 direct payments, and signed off on a plan that, after offsets, includes less than $350 billion in new money, well below a slew of pre-election proposals rejected by Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer as being too low.
...
In September, as time wound down toward Election Day, the bipartisan “Problem Solvers” group released a $1.5 trillion aid plan which they pitched as a version of that theoretical compromise between Democratic and Republican positions. Though the group contained some Democrats, it was dismissed by Party leadership.
...
The Republicans, this time led by Steve Mnuchin and an increasingly desperate-seeming Donald Trump, came back on October 9th with a $1.8 trillion proposal. Reeling as he stumbled toward Election Day thanks to a series of missteps and scandals, Trump seemed anxious to go beyond his previous numbers.
...
This time, even some prominent Democrats were insisting the time was right to strike. .. The Democratic leadership disagreed. .. Ultimately, of course, no deal got done before the election.

And the deal done now is lower than anything the Republicans had previously offered. The new deal is mostly about offsets with only $188 billion in new money and with little aid for the states. That means that there will be more unemployment and more evictions than were already destined to happen.

Before the election the Democrats blocked a decent Republican offer for Covid-19 relief. After the election they agreed to a much lower deal which leaves out the priorities they had pretended to support when they blocked the Republican offer.

It shows that it was never about providing help to the people, as the Democrats had claimed, but purely about sticking it to the Republicans and especially to Trump.

Speaking of Russian agriculture, here's a monumental article about it in the Federation Era (1992-present):

How Russia Wins the Climate Crisis

Recommend. It also has a lot of "hidden gems" that tells us more about the USA and China than about Russia per se.

It looks like Crazy Uncle had his tequila shots already with all the nonsense he's spouting.

FYI everyone, the Covid Relief Deal is not done yet, so all this Dem-hate is based on dis-information.

Here's the FACTS: Covid corporate liability and funding for states may be separated from the bill and negotiated at another time. Actual Covid Relief may be just under 1 Trillion. So if that amount doesn't include state funding it's not as bad as b makes it out to be.

And here's the thing: if Dems hold out for more now, how is that going to help people in dire straights right now over Christmas???

This entire article is a disingenuous hitjob intended to make Dems look bad for the Georgia runoff, ergo to hobble Biden.

The deal ain't done yet like b writes and Dems want to get some relief to people right away and negotiate an extension to the bill in the near future maybe right after Biden is sworn in.

This article stinks of Trumplican smear propaganda.

I get that feeling whenever I watch any current mass media programming.

Doubtless you understand it, but many people insist upon misunderstanding a crucial point about capitalist mass media, so I will frequently comment on it to remind people:

Capitalism is all about bringing products to market and selling them for a profit. The mass media programming that consumers are fed is not the product any more than is the feed that is laced with chemicals and hormones and that the feed lots put in the feed bunks for the cattle. The mass media consumers themselves are the product that is being sold. Moreover, just as cattle that is bulked up on hormones and other crap yields a higher profit when sold to the slaughterhouse, mass media consumers whose minds are properly conditioned yield higher profits for the capitalists.

There is no such thing as "wholesome and organic" capitalist mass media programming that is free of the mind control additives. All infotainment and entertainment (yes, 100% and with no exceptions) exists to condition the viewer/consumer for "The Market™" (hallowed be Its name).

There is a loophole. The narratives that mass media plants in people's minds are not static. Capitalists' needs differ from time to time, from region to region, and even from demographic to demographic. Consuming mass media that was produced for cultures radically different from one's own and/or in times quite distant from the present should be relatively safe, and the psychological steroids contained in it intended to steer mental development into line with the herd might have minimal effect. After all, in this situation the consumer is nowhere near the herd that the programming is intended to get the consumer to join, so that programming will possibly fail.

This exception itself has an exception, though. The TV programming to sell capitalism to American consumers back in the 1970s and 1980s ended up having a profound impact upon Soviet citizens even though their culture was very distant from the target audiences of the soap operas, police dramas, and sitcoms that they watched on pirated videocassettes in makeshift mini theaters. Just thinking of how their defenseless minds were brutally raped by high potency capitalist propaganda intended for jaded Americans with years of built-up resistance and tolerance to that crap makes me nauseous.

I just listened to the first hour of a Duran (Mercouris & Christoforou) YT "live chat" simply titled "Barr Resigns".

https://youtu.be/0035BQE97wY

It was very broad-ranging, and, for me, really helps to bring focus to the blurring jumble of many recent confusing events, actions and players into the beginnings of an outline of an understandable picture for what happened.

Among the hypotheses the 2 Alex's consider:

- Barr was a State-ist republican working foremost for Sen. Leader McConnell's (not Trump's) interests.

- As things are turning out McConnell will be the big winner, and in the catbird seat heading to 2022-> beyond .
As well, congressional clubby Dem /Rino leaders and swampy deep state wins.

- Also goes into MIA Durham and numerous other phantom/dropped "investigations" incl Epstein closure.

- Duran urges Trump to full pardon Assange, Snowdon, Manning, all the political Russiagate convicts (Stone, Manafort etc) before something bad happens to them.

Many other stuff too. Well worth the time to listen to.

Pyotr Stolypin's agrarian reform program starting in 1906 strengthened the position of more well-to-do peasants. One of my professors called it his "bet on the strong." Up to 1914, the program appeared to be working.

Stolypin's agrarian reforms are one of the greatest "what ifs" that fascinates the liberal historians in the West and the pro-monarchist historians in Russia.

In my opinion, Stolypin's reforms were doomed to fail even if WWI had never happened. Mainly for two reasons:

1) the kulak, which he aimed to create, already de facto existed, as demonstrated by Lenin in 1898. So, he was trying create something that already existed;

2) the kulak had such excess of extremely cheap labor power available - a gift of the czar's capitalist reforms of 1863 - that they didn't have any stimulus to automate agriculture. Usually, the kulak only employed two to five drought animals - the bare minimum to make the whole thing humanly possible - and that was it. The strengthening of the kulak by political means, therefore, wouldn't result in the rise of the productivity of the land in Russia. Indeed, this was also an initial problem for the Bolsheviks themselves: they had to literally force the peasants to use the new tractors, such was the backwardness of the average Russian of the time.

I think that the Stolypin myth arose among liberals and monarchists (i.e. anticommunists) essentially because he was the last significant anticommunist organic intellectual. He had a plan, firm convictions and was hated and finally assassinated by a revolutionary in 1911. He was the Russian Flavius Stilicho.

Posted by: vk | Dec 16 2020 15:27 utc | 114

@ Circe:

You are right; it isn't a done deal yet. The WaPo just reported a few minutes ago that this current bill will probably include direct stimulus payments, and will find another source for some help to states (with more money perhaps allocated to them later). It looks like they are going to scrap the liability protections for companies. That means that McConnell is willing to give up that most repugnant of the Republican demands.

Anyway, not over by a long shot. They have until Friday, and they will surely run out the clock with the back and forth.

Populist progressives have no friends and, in fact, face layer upon layer of blockers…some obvious but many diabolically deceitful. Only physical overthrow of the system will accomplish what they desire. Of course, there will be lip service and maybe even some action like enough UBI to keep the debt ponzi going and to keep the bourgeois from having their lives too impacted by the unwashed.

Populist conservatives don’t generally want to take handouts and certainly don’t want any given. And while many jobs are gone the populist conservatives dominate the military, law enforcement, fire, and many other public service jobs…and also manage who gets those type of jobs via an informal good ole boy network…they seem to be okay with the arrangement.

Populist conservatives also love authority and chain of command so while they may not love wall st\corporate\elite handouts, those handouts don’t change hierarchy. What they will not allow is for other common people to get anything that could be seen as cutting in line…except for maybe themselves and protectors of their "values", in which case, they prefer to be discrete and exclusionary.

This what i looked at in detail, with other bits and pieces on specific cases:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-election_lawsuits_related_to_the_2020_United_States_presidential_election

overall i haven't found a single article from any reputable journalist that has given a satisfactory account to support a genuine case for fraud worth wasting my time on, MSM and Alternative Left/Right media included. Got anything worth sharing, feel free. No bs conspiracy crap tho please and no isolated eye witness depositions, we're talking 7 million votes here.

From what i can see, it appears most cases were aimed at either suppressing or invalidating mail in votes, and most were either withdrawn, filed in the wrong court or dismissed for lack of evidence.

The final Texas SCOTUS suit was ridiculous, prior to the election the relevant courts legally approved extending mail in voting limits due to the pandemic, and then one state (Texas) wants to nullify other States' rules because it doesn't like them? Pathetic. Now that sounds more like fraud to me, suppressing and nullifying votes on bogus legal arguments or retroactive technicalities.

The next question is then, with a deficit of over 7 Million votes, assuming any, or even all the lawsuits were successful, do we know whether they were enough to even overturn the election?

Second, does it not seem strange that basically none of Trump's people supported his futile attempts to nullify mail in votes, something he has signalled his fear over for months leading into the election? in 99% of cases, both Republicans and Dem observers were there every step of the way overseeing the election as they have always done.

Were it closer.. i'd give it a maybe, but ultimately, it was a decisive win, unlike the arguments and evidence presented to change the election. But yeah, post away if you feel like sharing....

I see two possibilities:

1) Biden got more votes
2) The intelligence agencies rigged the vote count via fraud

In the prior case, Biden will clearly be president. In the latter, Biden will also be president because the agencies' authority is absolute.

I will also state that in "real" democracies, rigging the vote count is a rarity--it is far more effective just to rig the candidates so it doesn't matter if Tweedledee or Tweedledum gets more votes.

The Saker’s “analysis” of Russian military equipment and war fighting strategy is entertaining, and there may even be some truth to it, but his descent into reverse TDS makes him look like a complete fool. A bit like someone who sees through the Russiagate hoax but then gets their knickers in a twist over the “Wuhan Flu” or “CCP world domination”. His constantly using juvenile terms like ‘Ziomedia’ and ‘Uncle Shmuel’ also does him no favors.

The man gets that American foreign policy is a disaster but he is basically a clown with a one-trick-pony act who has snared himself an audience of disaffected rubes and gullible fools who think he is a genius intellectual.

@ Et Tu @ 125

I agree with you. i have seen nothing but BS from the likes of Trump, Powell, et al. Both Trump and Powell are making good coin by soliciting money from the dupes they are conning. Both of them have set up "non-profits" that are not actually non-profit and that they can use for personal uses. In Sidney Powell's case, this is being done particularly open manner. When you go to her website to donate, you are told to make the checks out to her name, not to any "save the election fund", which is a dead giveaway to her intents (also probably not legal, but she may not know that, being such a really sucky attorney). Her lawsuits are pathetic. (How does an attorney not know how to spell "district court", or misspell the name of her key witness 3 different ways, or name nonexistent counties in a state filing?)

The Texas attorney general, Paxton, who filed the suit at the Supreme Court, is under indictment on 3 counts for securities fraud, and has managed to have the cases delayed for 5 years. He needs a preemptive pardon from Trump; hence his willingness to go to bat for him. In any case, none of the suits so far have displayed anything like "proof", unless someone claiming that the poll workers were mean to them is proof of something nefarious.

I just keep wondering why anyone wants Trump to stay in office. He hasn't done a damn thing for anyone for the past four years but the extremely wealthy and the companies that dump toxic waste in our food and water. He isn't even pretending to care about Covid or the economic distress of millions and millions of people, or impending homelessness for millions, or the lack of healthcare, and is egging on the threats against not only Democratic office-holders, but against ordinary people who happen to vote D instead of R. What the hell kind of president tells people to take up arms against their neighbors because they like a different politician? Matter of fact, who in the hell would be willing to fight over a politician at all? I kinda get the idea of "fighting for your country", but threatening other working stiffs to show your support for a damned politician? I really don't get that at all.

If you liked that Martyanov piece, you will *love* this RT America news story of a naval confrontaion ~ three weeks ago. A Russian destroyer out of Vladavostok (in Peter the Great Gulf, Sea of Japan) chased an annoying/provocative US destroyer, the USS John S McCain, out of Russia's restricted waters, and threatened to ram the USS McCain (again!!) .

https://youtu.be/jRT8fqdeGVQ .

When the Russian ship came to a ramming course and speed, the McCain turned tail and ran out of there at maximum speed, just like the cowardly son of the ship's namesake, according to the Russians.

https://youtu.be/jRT8fqdeGVQ

US is saying it never happened, of course.

Shortly after the USS McCain incursion(s?), Russia announced it will be installing a new S-300 system on its southernmost Kuril Island, very near to Hokkaido, Japan

That will surely freak out Japan as well as the US.

TH @127: "...it is far more effective just to rig the candidates so it doesn't matter if Tweedledee or Tweedledum gets more votes."

In general this is what is done. That's why Sanders had to be removed in the primaries. Who'd have thunk a socialist, even just a socialist-lite like Sanders, could actually be competitive in the US after generations of brainwashing the public? The election riggers didn't expect that.

If the gang doing the rigging of the election have a very specific individual in mind to be the winner, though, they have to be more creative. Instead of Tweedledee and Tweedledum then they need to set one of the candidates up to be Satan so that their choice candidate looks beatific in comparison. The Satan candidate needs to be one with practically zero% chance of winning.

In the case of the 2016 election it was considered essential that Clinton win, so rather than going the Tweedledee/Tweedledum route they needed to go the Saint/Satan route. In addition to the fact that Clinton was already fully up to speed on all of the ratlines and ratfucking that the empire had (and still has) ongoing, some of which were in very delicate stages of development, a woman President was needed for the long-running cultural engineering project that the neoliberals have been working on. You can see this cultural engineering project in numerous aspects of contemporary capitalist society such as the large number of mass media products that promote in a heavy-handed way a rather warped and misogynist anti-femininity in the guise of "progressive" feminism. The unveiling of these misogynist/feminist mass media products was intended to reach a crescendo during the Clinton presidency, blurring the lines between Hollywood corporate narratives and real life.

But somehow the Satan candidate won. "Impossible!! It must be the Russians!"

There are more ways for the wealthy and business elites to control election outcomes than just Tweedledee/Tweedledum and Saint/Sinner, but these are a couple we've seen recent obvious examples of.

There is one Russiagate shoe that I am still waiting to hear drop (maybe it already did and I missed it).

In 2003 when the CIA succeeded in misleading this country into an invasion over non-existent WMD
the finger pointing began, to explain away the lies as simply a pack of errors.

One excuse that gained some traction was that it was Saddam's own fault, he had pretended to have WMD.

For Russiagate I have been waiting for the excuse makers to offer something like they did with "Saddam's own fault".
That is, the Russians - Putin -, wanted the FBI, CIA, Hillary, MSM, etc to fall for Russiagate.
Thus John Brennan did not attempt a coup (nor Comey, nor the FBI, CIA and the rest of the "17 intelligence agencies" the MSM
and the Democrats) by knowingly creating a false narrative about the Russians, it was the dastardly Russians (Putin)
themselves that are to blame. No attempted coup, simply a pack of errors seeded by the Russians themselves.

As the Durham investigation appears to be heading for the historical footnotes there will be no need for the
traitors to create excuses. And I do not expect to ever hear that shoe drop.

Norwegian @138: "This script is obviously still in play."

Absolutely. Way too much invested in it to let some "deplorables" mess their plans up. They have been set back by four years but as soon as Trump is out of the way they will be going full speed ahead with that script.

No doubt that is on its way, but I think it would have been too difficult to pull off without full control over the government's top figurehead. Once Harris is enthroned then they will move on that, I am sure of it.

it's VERY telling when those so called "independent" non corporate bloggers shill for Trump by describing exactly how evil Biden and his ilk are, while conveniently not mentioning what a complete disaster trump was. Waste of fukken time to read the articles and all the stupid commens where everyone is just arguing by trying to show off how smart they are by presenting cherry picked arguments.

" The Saker's idealised admiration for Trump being some rogue, well-meaning patriotic peacemaker, I share his contempt for Biden and his warmongering corporate profiteer swamp to come, I just felt this particular thread was beneath him. '

Obviously Et Tu does not follow the Saker blog. If he/she did he/she would know that saying the Saker Idealized Trump is patently absurd.
Or, Et Tu is purposefully making up stuff about the Saker and has something out against The Saker.

Many, many articles on the Saker blog have expressed every degree of support-bemusement-incomprehension-disgust at Trump. The same goes for the Saker himself.

As for those who make a big deal of the fact that the Saker uses that name, anyone can easily find out his name---it is on the page of moderation guidelines. But he likes "the Saker." So what? Does anyone actually know b/Bernhard's last name? or quarrel with his use of the mysterious "b" at his own blog? No. So give it a rest, fer chrissakes!

@vk #129:

Stop posting Jimmy Dore. Everybody and their mothers know he's not a reliable source (either for info or analysis).

1. I will post whatever I want to post. I do not follow your instructions.

2. My post consists of three links: (a) a short viral video made by Orfalea promoting Dore’s idea; (b) an article with Gray’s thoughts on the matter; (c) a video with Ball’s thoughts on the matter followed by discussion with Enjeti. What do these links have to do with Dore being/not being a “reliable source”?

3. Do you have anything to say about the idea itself? Or did you see the “Dore” keyword and immediately proceeded to fling shit at me per your standard operating procedure?

4. Complaining about Dore not being a “reliable source. . .for info or analysis” is rich coming from a guy/gal who has posted this in #102:

The problem with The Saker is that he pictures himself as some kind of unique story, when in fact he was the fruit of mass immigration - one of the many in American history. His story is not special, he is not special, he is just one of the many Soviet refugee propagandists of the Cold War that I'm tired of reading.

You think that The Saker has fled the Soviet Union for the U.S., while in reality he was born and grew up in Switzerland, served in Swiss military intelligence, got his degrees from the American University and the Johns Hopkins University in the U.S., went on to work for the Swiss Strategic Intelligence Service and the General Staff of Swiss Armed Forces, later worked at the UN and at the Red Cross, then moved to the U.S. in 2003. In other words, he’s a Westerner through-and-through. He only visited Russia once in his entire life—in 1996. So much for vk’s “reliable analysis”.

No worries.

The Biden regime will be a mass murdering war criminal American regime--just as surely as the Trump regime is a mass murdering war criminal American regime.

In an Orwellian democracy like the Land of the Free™ (or other capitalist nations), changes in the ruling political party are used to disguise continuation of the same malignant America Way of Life itself.

Indeed, there is only one political party in the USA: that of the American Evil Empire.

And all the fake "partisan political differences" exist only to promote America's Fake Democracy in general.

I did not say that. You're literally lying.

I said that there was a shit ton of Mensheviks and other White Russians that mass emigrated to the USA after the Civil War. Then I complemented that The Saker is just the noisier. By that I obviously meant he was part of this immigrant community, not that he literally fled the USSR after being literally on the losing side of the Civil War (he would be more than 100-years old if that was the case).

Jimmy Dore is just a propagandist clown. Just because he defend the right people and the right causes, doesn't mean he's not a propagandist clown.

Let me tell you a simple fact: all youtubers are, deep down, glorified salesmen. They depend on the number of views and subscribers to survive. They're all sellouts who, best case scenario, are subpar amateurs. They don't have privileged sources, they don't have superior analysis, they're often improvising because they have to upload one video or more per day on their channel because they need the ad money.

Books (or any other form of print) are still the best way to absorb more knowledge. They have the most information, transmitted in the most precise way known to humankind, in the most condensed space, in the cheapest way. There's a reason scientific articles, Ph.D. theses, etc. are still published in printed written language and not in video forms. Read and you're going to get more bang for your buck.

@66 gm

"Just as soon as our Overlords officially stole the election from Trump'fair and square', the American Medical Association (AMA) reverses its former position adopted last Spring, against using hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to treat early covid, and now recommends its use!? Here"

I followed that link and read the AMA memo it links to, and wrote a larger comment, because I thought your find would be easy to miss and I wanted to make sure others had a chance to take it in. I'm sure there were trigger words or links in my comment - which disappeared and is now probably gone forever.

The Memo is worth reading because from page 16 through the resolutions themselves are numerous cites to medical findings and papers that contribute to this change from the AMA - well worth reading for those interested. FWIW I don't think the resolutions have formally passed yet, this appears to be the recommended version.

Anyway, thanks for posting - that's a huge change in policy which if made earlier could have saved a lot of contention in these threads and the country, and might have saved some lives.

Slowly, very slowly recovering from the big meltdown, after naively thinking that the division of labor works in a free market, I'll go and check the etymology of the word "sanction", sounds a bit religious, an act of faith.

Thank you, I will pour you a good tequila when we next meet.

I see the feckless Dimocratss will do anything to avoid a floor vote on Medicare for all.

Will they ever reverse the education/debt trap and have a floor vote to eliminate private college penury?

Doubt it - the Dimocratss are taking a leaf out of the Russian Czar's publication 'guide to screwing the peasants' as the modern us kulacks are the education private colleges where they have aggregated all the education spending channels and linked it in with the private finance corporates to deliver a generation of impoverished wage slaves.

These USAi Kulaks need the same treatment as handed out by Stalin perhaps?

The latest from C J Hopkins:

https://www.unz.com/chopkins/year-zero/

[Not his usual humorous satire this time]

2020 was GloboCap Year Zero. The year when the global capitalist ruling classes did away with the illusion of democracy and reminded everyone who is actually in charge, and exactly what happens when anyone challenges them.
[...]
GloboCap is not insane, however. They know exactly what they are doing … which is teaching us a lesson, a lesson about power. A lesson about who has it and who doesn’t. For students of history it’s a familiar lesson, a standard in the repertoire of empires, not to mention the repertoire of penal institutions.

The name of the lesson is “Look What We Can Do to You Any Time We Fucking Want.” The point of the lesson is self-explanatory. The USA taught the world this lesson when it nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki. GloboCap (and the US military) taught it again when they invaded Iraq and destabilized the entire Greater Middle East. It is regularly taught in penitentiaries when the prisoners start to get a little too unruly and remember that they outnumber the guards. That’s where the “lockdown” concept originated. It isn’t medical terminology. It is penal institution terminology.

C. J. has lost his moJo lately, but I do thank him for pointing out that "lockdown" is the terminology of prison guards, not the servants of a free people. It was really annoying when the Raygunauts came in the 80s and all this cop/prison culture language became mainstream here, and in particular when it became the norm in the schools.

Bemildred | Dec 17 2020 11:38 utc | 163: "C. J. has lost his moJo lately..."

Gee, I've been enjoying CJ Hopkins essays for many years and I thought this piece was among his very best. Especially the final 3 paragraphs were very powerful I thought:

"From now on, when the GloboCap Intelligence Community and their mouthpieces in the corporate media tell you something happened, that thing will have happened, exactly as they say it happened, regardless of whether it actually happened, and anyone who says it didn’t will be labeled an “extremist,” a “conspiracy theorist,” a “denier,” or some other meaningless epithet. Such un-persons will be dealt with ruthlessly. They will be censored, deplatformed, demonetized, decertified, rendered unemployable, banned from traveling, socially ostracized, hospitalized, imprisoned, or otherwise erased from “normal” society.

You will do what you are told. You will not ask questions. You will believe whatever they tell you to believe. You will believe it, not because it makes any sense, but simply because you have been ordered to believe it. They aren’t trying to trick or deceive anybody. They know their lies don’t make any sense. And they know that you know they don’t make any sense. They want you to know it. That is the point. They want you to know they are lying to you, manipulating you, openly mocking you, and that they can say and do anything they want to you, and you will go along with it, no matter how insane.

If they order you to take a fucking vaccine, you will not ask what is in the vaccine, or start whining about the “potential side effects.” You will shut up and take the fucking vaccine. If they tell you to put a mask on your kid, you will put a fucking mask on your fucking kid. You will not go digging up Danish studies proving the pointlessness of putting masks on kids. If they tell you the Russians rigged the election, then the Russians rigged the fucking election. And, if, four years later, they turn around and tell you that rigging an election is impossible, then rigging an election is fucking impossible. It isn’t an invitation to debate. It is a GloboCap-verified fact-checked fact. You will stand (or kneel) in your designated, color-coded, social-distancing box and repeat this verified fact-checked fact, over and over, like a fucking parrot, or they will discover some new mutant variant of virus and put you back in fucking “lockdown.” They will do this until you get your mind right, or you can live the rest of your life on Zoom, or tweeting content that no one but the Internet censors will ever see into the digital void in your fucking pajamas. The choice is yours … it’s is all up to you!"

uncle tungsten, that's a very nice comment (162) and sound advice, but I'm afraid that with my adaption of the famous song, I've filled my mouth way too much (as they say in German)! So I couldn't possibly follow your recommendations in full, as much as I'd like to. ;-)

But for a recent example, have you or has anybody else read the IT forensics that was done for the machine voting in Antrim County, Michigan? They tried to block any publication of this report, but the court in the end allowed it, so it can be found here.

It's only 23 pages, but it's devastating.

So this staunchly Republican county of Antrim was supposed to have flipped in 2020, like so many others are supposed to, giving Biden a big win.

But that's just not what happened, it's only the voting machines that made it look so.

The good election people in Antrim ran the vote tabulation process 3 times. Each time, the result differed greatly from the previous time, and in various aspects.

Remember, each time they fed the exact same pile of ballots into the Dominion machine.

Nov 3: total votes 16,047 / Biden 7,769 / Trump 4,509 / 3rd party 145 / write-in 14 were counted - Biden 62.5%, Trump 36.3% and only 77.4% of people who handed in a ballot bothered to actually vote for the president

Nov 5: total votes 18,059 / Biden 7,289 / Trump 9,783 / 3rd party 255 / write-in 20 were counted - Biden 42.1%, Trump 56.5% and this time around 95.9% of people who handed in a ballot bothered to actually vote for the president

Nov 21: total votes 16,044 / Biden 5,960 / Trump 9,748 / 3rd party 241 / write-in 23 were counted - Biden down to 37.4%, Trump up to 61.2% and this time nearly everyone who handed in a ballot actually also voted for the president (99.4%)

Doesn't it make your head spin? It's insane, but with some patterns. 1st time, fake results for Biden plus fake results for Trump. 2nd, still fake results for Biden plus now true results for Trump. Finally, true results for Biden plus true results for Trump if you ask me.

And those are just the numbers, they would have come to light anyway. There's much more in the report, regarding modus operandi etc. It's IT forensics.

The higher-ups at Dominion plus the people who certified this sh*t before and after the "election" should be summarily shot at dawn, no questions asked. It's fraud and it's an insult.
