The BCG was very effective, actually. But as I wrote – the USA did not take it up because it was at the time (and remains) a for high-profit medical system and there is little money in such vaccines as the BCG (well, US companies don’t have the patent). And it is still the only anti-TB vaccine and is effective, but can only work (as a preventative) when given to those without any TB at all.

I think on said Brexit thread Lurk and I briefly discussed the way in which England has schemed against any agreement between continental powers that it deemed threatening to its formerly hegemonic interests, so I doubt that England could ally with Russia. At least not when England has played its part in fomenting Russophobia in the EU.
Rumor has it that England used Germany as a battering-ram against Russia before WWI, only to fight with Germany after failing to contain Russia. Rumor also has it that part of it was thanks to Otto von Bismarck’s idea of a Russia-Germany (Eurasian?) economic alliance that could rival the British Empire.
Also, isn’t England Germanic too?

There is more. Banking has an odd and opaque history of global control of money/finance. It was clear by ca. 1900 that the global keystone was control of USA banking…but how?, because any USA legislation had to be signed-off by a President…the ONLY exception being overriding a pres. veto. It could not be done in USA by pres. decree.
So the riddle is how could this rip-off be done in a freak nation that was an open society of free public discourse full of very active politician? Even if Congress could be bribed and otherwise cajoled to pass such legislation, how could any President be “arranged” to sign it?
CLUE–headmaster W. Wilson of Princeton University suddenly rose to Governor of New Jersey , then suddenly ran for Pres of US. A most wierd election resulted in WW becoming Pres and in his first year signed the Fed Res Act. Boom! Done!
CLUE–How did the bankers, Warburg et al, manage to put WW under their control? How did they select WW and get hooks so deeply into headmaster WW and get him elected Pres.? What was their secret?…and that could be kept secret? and never in writing.
The ANSWER might well be known only to surviving members of families of those involved in WW’s mysterious medical maladies. Though WW’s doctors never disclosed publicly all his medical data, related family members of consulted medical experts would likely have it as a family secret…that WW had an “unspeakable” malady whose diagnosis was quietly handed down to successive generations.

People fear now for their teachers,and even more for their children,and as I posted before,this teacher was a very conscious person,a sympathetic teacher,who warned the children at beforehand before showing the drawing and giving the possibility for pupils to walk out and not see it; in order to explain the concept of freedom of expression to the class along the ministerial guidelines.
So how does this make the average frenchman feel?

Thank you – a fascinating observation and interpretation. It has legs as they say but needs some solid ground to run on. There must have been keen observers in the day that shed light on this phenomenal rise to power. In the USA no one gets bankrolled so promptly and overwhelmingly with such immediate success without there being a mafia of some type behind them. The memoirs of members in the state house would reveal a tale or two.

Note steadily rising case count. Until case counts represent 3% of total tests, the US is losing. That there is more testing, thus more cases, is irrelevant. What matters is the percentage of new positive cases vs total testing.
Note the US has now had more confirmed cases – over 8 million, or one in 50 – than any other country including India and Brazil.

A total of 2.98 million samples had been tested across the country’s 24 provincial-level regions by Sept. 15, including 670,000 taken from cold-chain food or food packaging, 1.24 million from working staff and 1.07 million from the environment.
Only 22 samples from cold-chain food or food packaging tested positive for the virus, the China CDC said.

Everything that comes in past my door gets wiped down with hydrogen peroxide (even stuff sealed with plastic because I’m handling it while wiping it down), kills viruses in 30 seconds. Then I wash my hands to get rid of the hydrogen peroxide on them, and then I apply hand sanitizer. Covered. Should be obvious. I bought a couple bottles from Target way back in April when I saw they happened to have a lot on hand, and four more from Walmart later. Still have three unopened.

I do not know if it is Chinese diplomatic manners, but they have always refrained from naming the source / origin of the covid19-infected imported frozen foodstuffs.
Naming the port of origin will actually HELP the exporting country in their covid19 fight, unless of course, that place is a certain Exceptional Nation, which is beyond help for the foreseeable future.

The french authoroties are not able to give an even approximative number of the chechens in France,asylumseekers,or even those having been granted asylum.Somewhere between ten and fifty thousand.Of course those are most likely islamist types on the run from Putin or Kadyrov.This country is as rotten to the core as the USA,in a somewhat different manner.And the authorities keep on talking about how “the Republican Values” have been attacked,every time and again,but never do nothing.Then the next election it is the same,by a game of smoke and mirrors you can be president in France with hardly 20% of the vote.It is still called democracy.Vive le Roi!

Charlie Hebdo was and is a very bad taste weekly magazine,with some good written articles,but their cartoons are bad drawings,with a very bad taste and preference for mocking catholicism,and this for thirty years.Some fifteen years ago they started to criticize islam,and with invariably very spiritless ,uncouth and disgusting cartoons,mixing perversion,sex,and religious items.Not even a bit funny.As you might expect,the hebrew religion is never granted this treatment.It sells about 30000 copies.But after the 2015 attack a lot of new subscribers arrived,pushing up to 300000 copies,after the 7 million(!) incriminated edition was sold allover the world with french arrogance claiming to be defenders of freedom of expression,a republican value.
I would like to tell you more,because there is a shield between anglosaxon and french culture that is deliberately put in place from the seventies until now,but I am too sick and tired of all this lying,pretense and posturing.Yesterday I watched A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrick,and isaid to myself:Were it not for the very original wording based on Antony Burgess’book,and the nice voice in which Malcolm MacDowell speaks them,it would be a kinda heavy film.It was made in 1971 as a low budget sciencefiction movie,and quite accurately it depicts the society we live in now.

clicked only just now on your you tube link.I knew it already from some three four years ago.A group of nice young french women and mothers of small children who sing this anti-immigrant song.Les Brigandes.They have other songs,and with good lyrics.You will never ever see them on tv in France,because anti-immigration means far-right,far-right means fascism,and fascism will not be televized by french media.It is as simple as that.I think not many people know about them.It is a feature of french society that there are quite a few political songwriters,with very discrete audiences…..
