See? Amazing. The poster asserts that the genocides “posed as anti-communist policies”. Why go to such extraordinary lengths to manufacture a distinction between the genocides and anti-communist operations if one is not trying to clear the reputation of anti-communism (fascism)?
The genocides in Malaysia and Indonesia (and Argentina and el Salvador and so on) were absolutely anti-communist (fascist). That the brainwashed thugs doing the killing were doing it because their victims were Chinese, or Jewish, or mestizo, or Alawite, or students with unusually long hair doesn’t change this fact. You cannot recruit workers or peasants into your anti-communist crusade by accurately educating them on what communism really is and why you are trying to destroy it, so you have to use hyped up prejudices and prey on your recruits’ ignorance to get them to kill for you.
At their core, the workers and peasants that the capitalists recruit for their anti-communist operations are NEVER actually killing over communism. It is ALWAYS prejudice, ignorance, and tribalism (also greed… capitalists pay their death squads to kill, and sometime pay quite well) that motivates the killing.
In other words it is irrelevant what precisely was used by the capitalists to get people to kill for them. Whether it is ethnicity, religion, career choice, or shirt color that is used to get a portion of the population to murder another portion, the killing is still anti-communist (fascist). It actually better serves the capitalists’ purpose if their killers are completely ignorant of what communism really is, so expecting the goons doing the wet work for Standard Oil and Coca Cola to be able to explain their ideology is absurd. They are anti-communist (fascist) regardless of what their personal motivations are.

The Chinese are well aware of that, which is why they have been rapidly building military capabilities structured primarily around countering threats from the Disunited States. The longer they can put off that inevitable conflict, though, the stronger they are and the weaker the Dis-US becomes. As well, delay allows them to better prepare the battlefield in the South China Sea, where they hope to lure the Dis-US for that confrontation. The Chinese know full well that the Americans would prefer for the fight to be on China’s mainland so that they can do lots and lots of “collateral damage”. Ever since “Sherman’s March to the Sea” in America’s Civil War, destroying the enemy’s economy and terrorizing their civilians has been America’s chief strategy for winning wars, and China wants to deny the Dis-US that strategy, thus the build-up in the South China Sea.

I reversed the order of these the above and following paragraphs to make them more logical sequentially:

Do not fall into the US’ trap due to tactical temptations. It only seeks to aggravate chaos. Peace and stability in the South China Sea concerns ASEAN’s fundamental interests. And the genuine reason for Pompeo’s bleating:
“The US is being deeply mired in the pandemic. Americans are now unwelcome in most of the places around the world. It is uncomfortable for Washington to see the good momentum being made by China-ASEAN ties. In fact, the trade volume between the two has increased despite the pandemic. Consultations over the South China Sea Code of Conduct (COC) are progressing smoothly too. Therefore, the US wants to make waves.” [My Emphasis]
The hope was for manufacturers located in China to shift their facilities to ASEAN nations but the opposite appears to have occurred–one of those boomeranging policies I wrote about recently. The Outlaw US Empire’s attempt to impose a Zero-sum policy for its benefit against China has failed–it’s the policy not the president. And until the USA ceases being an Outlaw, its policies will continually fail.

That is my impression judging from the reaction from the Chinese population to the protests. I don’t know to what extent they have been lied to but I think they were well aware of the vandalism and did not approve.

It’s good to get a reply from you! I can only recall citing the SCMP once in my many years of writing and didn’t use it at all in my thesis paper on China’s development I wrote in 1999 as there were much better sources. IMO, the Outlaw US Empire’s policy in South China Sea is directly related to its Taiwan policy, both of which are linked to its Hong Kong policy, which when brought together renounces pro forma the One China Policy first publicly announced by the Nixon administration in 1972 in an attempt to create a basis for its longstanding strategy of Divide and Rule. IMO, the Mainland-Taiwan issue is an internal Chinese issue that will eventually result in Taiwan’s return to rule by Beijing, with the Outlaw US Empire having no say in the issue despite its obvious desire to meddle. Militarily, the Empire cannot win, but the engineered crisis serves to funnel billions of dollars away from public use into the pockets of Rentier Class Parasites.

My Putonghua is pretty bad now has not use since I left home. Speak Putonghua at home with my parent and still speak Putonghua mix with Eng with my siblings. Growing up mixed around and learned multiple dialects and languages. Mainly Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese, Haiku, Hakka, some Toisan and Shanghainese.

@224 My Putonghua is pretty basic. I took a short course in Taiwan which I found useful for getting around in China. I even know about 300 Hanzi.

Not yet, Xi Jinping still well loved by hundreds of millions in China and elsewhere. He strived genuinely end corruptions and alleviate poverty. Still 100millions remains mostly in Sichuan, minorities living on the mountains and cliffs. Dunno what effect recent massive rivers overflow on poverty alleviate.

Nope most if not all support Xi Jinping. I had lived in HK, traveled extensively along the Coast during the 90s when everyone still ridding bicycles dressed white shirts and dark pants. I was in business with PRC. My patron, vice Mayor of Shenyang I imports machineries, chemicals and sell plywoods. I also traveled to Kaohsiung on business.
I never believe China can ever get out the mess they’re in. I was afraid even to bring my parent back to their motherland fearing dad arrest. He fought with KMT. Dad was editor-in-chief of the KMT newspapers. I believe dad if he’s alive will support Xi Jinping. In fact The KMT met with Xing Jinping in Singapore. Dad passed away long before 2015.

If the reporter a Singaporean he’ll be sued any bias on the PAP. The party set up just like the commie in China.
Example: Phila Siu, base in Hong Kong or Bobby, journalist since 2009, human rights, security, politics, Hong Kong, mainland. Bared entering China earlier. Today if he writes anything contrary to HK security law he’ll be arrested since the inception HK security Law.

Here’s a transcript of “Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s remarks and answers to questions during the online session ‘Russia and the post-COVID World,’ held as part of the Primakov Readings international forum, Moscow, July 10, 2020″ that ought to be digested by all. I’m choosing the following paragraph to excerpt and will explain why:
“Like 75 years ago, when Victory over a common enemy was won only by working together and rising above the ideological differences of the time, we now also need to realise that we will resolve these issues only if we cooperate. I’m sure we’ll talk about the future of the WHO later. We are in favour of resolving any issues based on the UN Charter, which is a collective security platform.” [My Emphasis]
Lavrov has reiterated the bolded text on dozens of occasions but has yet to specifically state the #1 reason why there’s no cooperation on issues and crises is that one rather important member of the UN system refuses to abide by the fundamental directives of that system in contravention of its own organic law, that unfortunate member being the Outlaw US Empire. Why Russian Diplomacy refrains from recognizing that very important fact month after month and year after year puzzles me greatly as I fail to see any benefit for Russia in its continuance, although Lavrov does say this:
“It is quite clear that the US is waging a struggle by absolutely unsavoury methods, as is obvious and clear to everyone. They are putting forward unilateral demands that take into account solely the US interests. If demands are turned down, they say the refusal is unacceptable and introduce sanctions.”
Quite clearly a description of Star Trek‘s Borg.
The first question deals with the Outlaw US Empire’s escalating its contrived crisis with China, “Do you think that the US-PRC conflict has passed the point of no return? It is obvious that any exacerbation of this confrontation is not in Russia’s interests. Will Russia be able to act as a swing power in order to maintain stability of the world system, including based on your unique experience of multilateral diplomacy?” to which Lavrov supplies his usual detailed lengthy answer where he mentions this recent article by Dean of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the National Research University–Higher School of Economics–Sergey Karaganov: “The Future of the Big Triangle.” IMO, the publication must be bookmarked for future essays with Karaganov’s being a must read.
There’s lots there as most every point of crisis is covered.

I’ve been adamant that Trump and members of his administration committed and continue to commit Treason via his initial Do Nothing Policy and then through other means. Some seem to nod in agreement but few have openly agreed, while nobody has tried to defend Trump from my charges. Finally, another source shares my conviction about Trump and published this article, “Donald Trump’s Genocidal Acts Against Humanity,” in which the debacle experienced by Puerto Ricans is also included. Now there’s evidence that Trump attempted to divest himself of all responsibility for Puerto Rico by trying to sell it, like a Colonial Emperor trying to rid himself of an unprofitable Colony. IMO, there are only Greater Evils, of which Trump now qualifies beyond doubt after his actions 3.5 years into his term.

I’ve seen this, and I interpret this as “You’re surrounded on 3 sides. That way is the safe exit. You’d like to take the safe exit…trust me.” His recent statement excoriated US actions, but near the end he gently prodded them with a mild positive comment about something.
Reading Lavrov is uplifting. He’s like your doctor telling you to change your diet or reality will catch you out.

Yes, it’s a very long read, but I can’t think of anyone better suited for the task. Lavrov’s final paragraph seems to conform to your last sentence:
“We are ready for a situation where nothing will be left of arms control due to the US’s persistent line to throw all of these agreements out. But we are also prepared not to start from scratch but continue our contacts with the Americans on all strategic stability issues. I am confident that all members of the international community will support this approach. That said, we will keep the door open for multilateral talks as well. Let me repeat that these talks must rely on common understanding, voluntary participation and a balanced lineup of participants.”
He isn’t worried as he knows he has the superior position over his American partners.

Nine in 10 Native Americans say they are not offended by the Washington Redskins name, according to a new Washington Post poll that shows how few ordinary Indians have been persuaded by a national movement to change the football team’s moniker.

It once achieved an impressive growth rate of over 14% in the early 2000s, but alas and thankfully, those days are gone and now it’s struggling to remain at 6% and within the decade will realize growth rates of only 2% to 3 % if not contraction like the rest of the planet. And no, I am not some kind of spiritual being and I don’t talk like one. In fact, I don’t even type like one. This software ensures it.

Actually the last few minutes are enough to get some great ideas. He’s the first economist that Ross Ashcroft ever heard say that deflation is a great time of opportunity.
For those interested, Lonergan’s ideas to pull us out of Depression start in very concrete terms at 21:48 to the end.
He talks about national trusts (housing trust, health trust, etc) as shared inheritance among the people. He also says give everyone money, monthly, and keep doing it until you’re out of recession – in fact, you could keep doing it until you have full employment. He’s right of course. There’s no inflation until you have more money chasing the same goods, which doesn’t happen until you’ve grown your economy back fully.

John Helmer, who has done an excellent job of following the MH-17 show trial, now reports that:

His ideas jibe with Hudson, Keen and Wolff’s, although IMO he articulated and sold them better. I found his analysis of how anger’s used by politicos to advance their agenda well founded. There’s an open preview of the book at Goodreads explaining the motivation behind writing the book, which is very similar to the drive behind my Critical Mass. Without mentioning Hudson, they describe the mechanistic mathematical Junk Economics of Neoliberalism that omits Political-Economy. I see their effort as being complementary and also in competition with mine, which means I must buy and read it. I’m now rather peeved at myself for sitting on my idea for over 6 months before beginning for I’m a lone individual up against a networking team whose product is out and being well marketed. What I see as in my favor is differing target audiences–mine toward the general public in the USA, theirs toward government officials and academia within NATOstan, specifically the UK. And their Dialog approach differs from my more traditional narrative. I do like what I’ve read so far and believe their effort can become helpful. I just hope I can become successful in my effort as I believe I’ll dig deeper into the dirt enraging everyone but not knowing why.

The Falun Gong is despicable for supporting Trump, but not for their opposition to, and criticism of, China’s corrupt, tyrannical “leadership.” Some of what the Falun Gong issues through its various media outlets about China is true but it’s mixed with half truths and outright lies rendering it disinformation for all intents and purposes. It’s up to us to separate the wheat from the chaff, but that’s true of ALL information these days, is it not? Every media outlet has an agenda and ALL news, therefore, is on a scale of unpurposeful misinformation to purposeful disinformation.
