The MoA Week In Review - Open Thread 2020-35

Last week's posts at Moon of Alabama:

Other issues:

Since this blog did not join other sites in explaining the Coronavirus pandemic as a manufactured crisis it has been inundated with trollish comments. While some came from the usual subjects (donkeytale/disabuser, information agent/troothsayer) most were by first time commentators who posted scientifically false claims about the virus or insulted regular commentators and me.

During the last weeks I had to block 39 accounts for spreading 'corona nonsense', 57 for 'insults' and 20 for nonsensical 'one-liner' comments. Additional comments were deleted for posting links to bullshit from Veterans Today, Zero Hedge or Youtube quacks who peddled nonsense.

That may well be seen as 'censorship' but I see it as a matter of hygiene. The comments are supposed to be a place for discussing reality and not for peddling fringe therapies that may well kill people or for screaming at each other.

North Korea:

The country is famous for resurrecting its dead people. Kim Yong Un is just the latest of a long list of folks that 'western media' declared dead based on CIA rumors only to then reappeared.

I get that you don't like Trump.

Neither do I. And I think Biden and Hillary are worse. But I will not suddenly stop thinking and questioning everything just because #OrangeManBad.

So if you have a different opinion then the one above the line, you must be a troll?
And if you have been reading the blog for years and never commented frequently but feel the need to comment on COVID-19 due to its obvious serious impact on *everyone-* but you have a different opinion... you must be a troll?

Using this metric, the great William F Engdhal must be a "troll" too then.

Anyway. Let's look at some remarkable coincidences which, at least to me, help me understand why I am at odds with the narrative B is pushing here.... and what endgame I believe is being attempted.

- 2015, Bill Gates wrote an article for the New England Journal of Medicine titled, “The Next Epidemic: Lessons from Ebola.” There he spoke of a special class of drugs that “involves giving patients a set of particular RNA-based constructs that enables them to produce specific proteins.... More basic research as well as the progress of companies like Moderna and CureVac could eventually make this approach a key tool for stopping epidemics.” Moderna and CureVac both today in 2020 receive funds from the Gates Foundation.

- In 2017 during the Davos World Economic Forum, Gates initiated something called CEPI, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, together with the governments of Norway, India, Japan, and Germany, along with the Wellcome Trust of the UK. Its stated purpose is to “accelerate the development of vaccines we’ll need to contain outbreaks” of future epidemics.

- Early 2019, Gates makes a Netflix video which made an eerie imaginary scenario. The video, part of the “Explained” series, imagined a wet market in China where live and dead animals are stacked and a highly deadly virus erupts that spreads globally. Gates appears as an expert to give his advice. Guess what he recommends?

- On October 18th the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in conjunction with the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, brought together “15 leaders of business, government, and public health” to simulate a scenario in which a coronavirus pandemic was ravaging the planet. Major participants were American military leadership, and certain neocon political figures. Guess who these figures were?

They event was called Event 201.

The very next day…

300 US military personnel arrived in Wuhan for the Military World Games on October 19.

And a whole bunch of other remarkable Coronavirus "coincidences" between then and today in May 2020. All in the buildup to an election year that feels more vital and urgent than most elections in recent history.

So here we are.

Stay safe everybody...

Skeletor # 201

Thank you, if I were to encounter that many coincidences in any year, I would buy a lottery ticket. But to read them in less than a minute I will definitely buy one.

Lets just do the corona-virus antibody tests on all those USA vapeing tissue samples if there are any still left after the 'clean out'.

Posted by: uncle tungsten | May 5 2020 9:18 utc | 202

I don't really understand why event 201 is regarded by so many as something sinister and evil.

How does holding a seminar that examines the preparedness of the world (or lack thereof) to respond to a pandemic get painted as the cause of the pandemic?

If you believe these people are somehow responsible for engineering the Covid pandemic why would they have signaled their intent in advance and brought suspicion?
Why would they not just do it without any warning?

Graffiti threatening to 'kill all' Wuhan residents found at Yasukuni Shrine

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the real "new, reformed" Japan. Or, as I like to say, New Japan - same as Old Japan.

You can try, little man, you can try.

Still on "New Japan":

Japan to help shift manufacturing to ASEAN from China after virus disrupts supply chains

As I've stated earlier here, a little bit of relocation thanks to a growing concern about inventories is inevitable and China was prepared.

However, the fact that the Japanese government is having to use taxpayer money in order to make these relocations viable is a worrying sign for Japanese capitalism. That means Japanese capital is not profitable by itself anymore, therefore it cannot sustainably reproduce socially any longer.

This confirms the consensus Japan is, since the 1990s, essentially a zombie economy.

Russian embassy slams Pulitzer Prize winning NYT articles as Russophobic fabrications

Some years ago, the USA used its soft power in WADA to forge an absurd story in order to ban Russia from most major sports events.

Now, it is using the Pulitzer Prize in order to enhance its cultural attack on Russia.

Hollywood always was a Cold War propaganda device, so I it doesn't enter the degeneration count.

The West is quickly spending its soft power cartridges against its geopolitical enemies. Not a good sign for their prestige in the world.

This is a more important news, so I chose to put in a separate comment.

Japan is pushing an unproven drug to fight the coronavirus

Here's they key paragraph:

Much like President Trump’s testimonials for hydroxychloroquine, Mr. Abe’s enthusiasm for the antiviral medicine known as Avigan comes despite limited findings that it is effective against Covid-19.

Yes, the NYT is correct in stating all of those "miracle drugs" are a farce. But we didn't see it making the same critic to Remdesivir - which is also a placebo at best.

What does Avigan and Hydroxycloroquine having in common, but not with Remdesivir?

The answer is simple: the first two are not produced by an American pharmaceutical giant.

Avigan is:

[...] developed by a subsidiary of Fujifilm [i.e. a Japanese giant].

Hydroxycloroquine, as we already known, is owned by French giant Sanofi (in which pocket infamous Dr. Didier Raoult probably is).

Still according to the NYT, PM Shinzo Abe "has allocated nearly $130 million to triple an existing stockpile of the medication" and "offered to provide it free to dozens of other countries, and called for it to be approved for use against Covid-19 by the end of the month.". The sacrosanct office of PM of Japan reduced to the role of a glorified salesman.

And there's the icing on the cake on this NYT piece. The penultimate paragraph state:

On another front, Pfizer and the German pharmaceutical company BioNTech said that their potential coronavirus vaccine began human trials in the United States on Monday. If the tests are successful, the vaccine could be ready for emergency use as early as September.

Wow, a vaccine for September 2020, what a miracle! And by a German pharmaceutical giant, not an American one! The NYT is really cosmopolitan, and I was wrong all this time, wasn't I?

Well, no. The very last paragraph states that:

Pfizer, which is based in New York [...]

If NY is the HQ

In proportion to the force proffered to induce people to agree to be injected with substances they cannot know and which have unknown effects by people who themselves are ignorant about the "med professionals" such proportion non-credulous persons run the other way...away from the needle.

I got this old, the old-fashion way. Not gunna change now.

I know a con when I see it... Con jobs depend on getting the mark rattled with fear and urgency...

Not one of us would be alive if our predecessors had died from the past epidemics...for which there was of course only sunlight and fresh air and so on as "remedy" - which it seems often worked. Vaccines, or whatever they inject, involves trusting a bunch delusional thugs... that's a sucker bet.

T Meyssan - does he need a tin hat? Anyway, what he writes is always interesting.

"The Global Political Project Imposed on the Occasion of Covid-19"

"Le projet politique global imposé à l’occasion du Covid-19"

(voltairenet dot org)

"The inept reactions of European governments to Covid-19 were dictated by former advisers to Donald Rumsfeld and George W. Bush. Contrary to public rhetoric, they make no medical claims. Far from responding to the reality of the epidemic, they aim to transform European societies in order to integrate them into their political and financial project."

"...egardless of whether the Covid-19 epidemic is natural or has been provoked, it offers an opportunity for a transnational group to suddenly impose its political project without discussion or even exposure.

Within a few weeks we have seen so-called democratic states suspend fundamental freedoms: prohibiting people from leaving their homes, particip..."

Well, yeah...

Coup in Qatar?

Posted by: Mina | May 5 2020 16:07 utc | 208

Today's Keiser Report says it's about the Petrodollar but there's quite a lot more, particularly the last chart shown just before the break showing the Debt/GDP Ratio versus Velocity of M2 Money Supply--at the point of the Great Financial Fraud in 2008, a gaping chasm opens between the two where today the Ratio's going straight up while Velocity is going in the opposite direction down, which for those who understand explains much. That would be the best depiction of the ongoing Fiat Money Fraud and related Ponzi Scheme.

Yesterday, I had a horrible time getting my comments to actually post. Most got eaten by the Cloud and when reinstated the thread was already on its second page. So I doubt anyone saw this Renegade Inc show link with Ross Ashcroft interviewing Max Keiser for the vast majority about the state of the Outlaw US Empire's economy and its likely direction. It's 28 minutes well spent as I guarantee you'll learn something.

I see my comments are not getting properly posted yet again.

Posted by: karlof1 | May 5 2020 16:54 utc | 210

@Karlof1 - I checked and neither your IP nor your name are blocked.

The Typepad spam protection system seems to think that your comments are advertising or something like that and puts your comments on moderation. I then have to release them manually.

Noirette once had a similar problem. In her case it was her email address which the system (reasonably) thought was invalid.

Mark2 also once had all his comments caught in moderation but after a few weeks the problem simply went away.

Thanks b! I'll omit placing the link to my VK page in the URL box to see if that makes a difference.

Posted by: karlof1 | May 5 2020 18:47 utc | 212

I just tested my hypothesis and it's the URL box with my VK page that's the issue. It's worked fine for the 2+ months I've been listing it. I'll leave it empty for a week to see if the issue vanishes.

b @ 211
Thanks for that input b,
Yes that happend a few times, I assumed my comments were moderated due to the content, which I have toned down to fit the style of your blog. It took time to understand what is and is’nt exceptable. More should appreciate the standard and value of your blog, and treat it with the respect it deserves !

@uncle tungsten #184
I'm glad you feel you know what you're doing.
The facts say otherwise.
The health professionals you refer to? They have far higher nCOV infection rates than the regular population.
Clearly masks do not help even when used by professionals.

@ted01 #199
Food banks are in high demand - yet you can find the same story every month of every year because that's where the United States is.
Are there people economically affected by nCOV? I've never said there weren't. 30 million unemployment claims makes this very clear.
Are those people going to food banks because they can't buy food, or because they can't buy food *and pay rent*?

Posted by: c1ue | May 6 2020 15:11 utc | 216

@ted01 #198
Meh. I could post New York, or Lombardy, or France, or UK, or literally dozens of other country's data.
nCOV absolutely affects the under 50 crowd to a significant degree.
Lastly, Australia did an nCOV lockdown starting March - and apparently before nCOV really starting spreading there.
You still have zero credibility.

@b, karlof1, mark2
I have noticed that links beyond a certain length cause the post to be either blank or not posted.
This is clearly a platform security measure. Even using a link shortener doesn't work.

I verified this by posting a link where the link was blocked as posted, but posted successfully when shortened enough.
