About the wall, this is what you should know by a not renegate DDR citizen, the wall was mainly built for economic reasons to avoid pillage by the FDR and smarties.
This author recognizes 150 people died trying to cross the wall, which after all was a border, and thus illegal to cross it without authorization, recall there was no Schengen space then and there was a declared Cold War amongst the East and the West, and that East Berlin was a swarm of spies from all over the word, especially NATO countries, taking into account all this, 150 people seems to me even way too few…

We agree about the DDR old man. (“old man” is a comradenshaft sort of term, just a friendly phrase. No offense intended.
I assume you are a German. I will say I visited Frankfort and Marburg long ago, not too long after the war. My simple German comes from my father’s youth…you know.
I cannot say that my reading of the Spanish was precise…I “scanned” for cognates from chemistry and Latin and my childish “mexican spanish” and focused on the overall meaning. I would not like to take an examination, yet…
I remember the affair…and that there was a “smell”.
One can generally see the flaw in a set scene, the misc en scene gives away the lie. But I was busy with making a living…
