Funny your ending note about boat as I was just thinking about that. I’d planned to keep it through this season but may end up longer. There’s enough crab just offshore here for me to catch over the course of one year that I could freeze for the next ten, then there’s the halibut, rockfish and salmon–still have 4 whole coho salmon in freezer. Not too worried about food here. Our governor’s done a B+ job with the crisis. We have very few cases thanks to citizenry doing the right thing–knock on wood! I use garbanzo bean flour to bake yummies with for the extra nutritional punch–mandarin orange, chocolate and almond muffins with some oat bran too, but forgot the ground flax seed (oops!), sweetened with honey and molasses.
I’m curious to see how the masses react once able to group again. Bernie’s doing a video show detailing his relief proposals I noted yesterday. IMO, the Oligarchy’s going to be very leery about public behavior when restrictions get lifted. IMO, it’s going to be very difficult to stop MFA given its rapidly rising support and absolute abhorrence to the COVID response performance–even the well-to-do must agree to the utter moral failure displayed. Stay well!

RE MFA. It makes better sense to combine MCare and VA, since everybody’s either militia (see title 10 USC)…Since they keep saying “we” are at war. MC is slushy for the suits, they’re milking it, we get crumbs.
Wally says end medicare and open VA to all the people either as dependents, relations, or as militia.

Well I have no doubt they have all kinds of interesting plans, but one ought not forget their incompetence and ignorance, these are not smart people. Consider Crozier, he was screwed either way, if he makes a fuss he get fired but he gets to be a hero, if he holds his tongue he gets to hold the bag anyway, because his ship is going to be a disaster real soon, so he did not only the right thing, but the smart thing, and it was smart because it indicates he knew well who his bosses were. Esper looks like a deer in the headlights now. Pompeo looks like he ate a bug.
Predicting where this goes is a mugs game. All this talk of attacking Iran or Venezuela leaves out the fact that militarily we are in no position to do so. I mean we can attack, but we will lose, and it won’t take long, unless we escalate like mad. This is not the desired look, either way. All this talk of military rule and martial law has similar issues, which is not to say somebody won’t try it, but they will fuck it up. I’d bet real money if I had any.
Meantime it just more crumble, crumble, crumble, and Trump is focussed almost exclusively on protecting his brand and his family assets, and seems to think his main role in the crisis is to cheerlead, sort of like the Queen telling the British to be strong.
It’s zugzwang, whatever they do, it’s gonna be wrong.

I almost never do videos, I like to read, but nothing you say I want to disagree with, I have some familiarity with the empire’s military too, CBW gear etc., though mostly tried to stay far away from that, anything “secret”, which I view as mostly bullshit and longing for the days when we had an absolute military/technical advantage over out indigenous peoples here, they still haven’t got over the experience of having magic weapons.
However, it’s worth pointing out that not everybody in the game these days is incompetent or uninformed.

That was a good guess! Medicare For All, as you figured out. VA for all would work too if they made public all private aspects of healthcare, including pharmaceuticals and equipment–dental and optical included!
