Guerrero Forgot one thing. As to the ability of the US to invade and conquer Venezuela, I fear you may understate their ability. A naval blockade, attacking military and certain infrastructure targets by air and sea, with support from locals siding with the elites and special forces and they will most certainly be able to force a regime change…

Fascinating public radio play today about censorship on Facebook, describing the mental gymnastics for whether or not to show the female breast. Incredible. Baby on breast, lips attached, OK. I rode a bull when I was younger… well for a short time, then the bull tromped all over me. Seems a bit of a mugs game. Catching bulls and shipping them off to the meatworks was much more rewarding.

Kanguru is the rider’s nickname. Sometimes the names of local legendary riders are taken.
Who knows how a Mexican man got his nickname? Everyone has his. Especially, the bull-riders.
Porrazo in English-language would be:
“tumble”, as in: “to take a tumble” i.e. to fall on to the ground.
