NFL loses request for summary judgment to dismiss a grievance brought against team owners by Colin Kaepernick for colluding to keep him unemployed as punishment for the instigation and leadership of league wide sideline demonstrations against racial injustice a few seasons ago.
The arbitrator ruled Kaepernick’s case will move forward with depositions of team owners, league officials and potentially even an unindicted co-conspirator name of Donald J. Trump.
One team owner has already admitted Trump directly influenced the league’s stance against kneeling during the anthem by his media comments and communications with team owners. For his part, the racist-in-chief has called for the firing of “any son of a bitch” (70% of NFL players are black) who refuses to stand respectfully at attention during the national anthem. In a typical Trumpian non-sequitor, the Liar-in-Chief claims the protests dishonor the flag and the US Military (69% of US soldiers are non-hispanic white), which has nothing at all to do with the stated aims of the player protest movement.

Silverstein took out an insurance policy that “fortuitously” covered terrorism.
After 9/11 Silverstein took the insurance companies to court, claiming he should be paid double because there were two attacks.
Silverstein won, and was awarded $4,550,000,000.
The question on everyone’s mind is:
Why is Silverstein claiming that airliners destroyed his buildings, when he has already confessed to demolishing at least one of them himself?
In the 2002 PBS documentary “America Rebuilds,” Silverstein admitted to complicity in the controlled demolition of WTC-7, a 47-story skyscraper that dropped into its own footprint in 6.5 seconds.

Bad news.
I just returned from a 4000 mile, 4day road trip to California. (No typo, 3922 actual miles) My niece was doing her homework when I arrived at my brothers home. She is in 6th grade. Her assignment was to write a report on the chapter of a California state text book they were currently studying entitled: “Why banks are good for us.” The chapter title, not the book. I was floored. I did take the time to help her complete the assignment and explained ‘fiat’ and ‘rentier’ principles to her which were not mentioned in the above mentioned chapter. I won’t find out until next week what grade she gets on that assignment.

The mysterious destruction of Building 7 has become the Rosetta Stone of 9/11.

Colin Kaputnick always looked like a privileged college guy who never had to study and had cheerleaders doing his homework for him. He looks like the type of guy who just had to show up to class. I wonder how much it cost the racists for his full ride scholarship?

A few years ago, at a friends house for the weekend, I exposed myself to a middle school social studies book about comparative cultures……ARGH!! I am a quick read and I created a list of a dozen or more outright lies in less than half hour. I shared with family and they, agreed but pretty much shrugged their collective shoulders….
By the human age of 12, I believe, is when the memes are pretty much locked in……it is not that banks are bad but that their ownership is private and not public that is my drum beat call for change.

Carl, where’s this number (2,500,000 POWs murdered by Western allies) coming from?
That would suggest that German forces experienced only 500,000 KIA over the course of the war. That is not plausible, particularly the Eastern Front was a meat grinder of epic proportions; later in the war German forces in the East suffered casualties in the range of 1,500 – 2,500 men on a daily basis.
Same is it with 2,000,000 women raped and murdered. That is nonsense. There were serious atrocities going on, no doubt about that, but 2,000,000 is way out of proportion. BTW a great many of these atrocities were a direct result of atrocities committed by the Nazi war machine on its march eastward.
German dead were about 8,000,000 in total, both members of the armed forces and civilians (~3 m soldiers, ~5 m civilians), so, 2.5 million POWs and 2 million women simply do not add up.

US Taxpayers spend approximately $2,500,000 per year to advertise for cannon fodder during NFL games since 2009.
Prior to 2009, players didn’t enter the field until after the national anthem. Since then the league has encouraged players to come out onto the field for the anthem but doesn’t require participation in the pregame sporting ritual.

I appreciate the difference between public and private banking, however being someone who believes all debt is unnecessary, we will probably always dispute the virtues of banking.
I can’t remember (and am too lazy to look it up right now) who said, “compound interest is the most powerful force in the world(?)” , but compound interest is “the weapon” of the capitalist system. I can envision a system where loans were made at simple interest regardless of the length and profits were made by late charges and the simple interest alone, but a system where were I to purchase a thirty thousand dollar car financed at six years and wind up paying 47-52k is morally repugnant to me. How about a 30k loan at 10% for six years, ten years, 20 years and at the end of whichever time period agreed/chosen, total payments equalled 33k?
Debt makes people have to get up and go to jobs they don’t like in the morning. 🙂

Further to the point I made upthread is an english language article on Le Monde Diplomatique which considers how and why an Al Jazeera documentary which featured israelis and their stooges around Capitol Hill openly discussing their campaigns of dirty tricks and their concern that young amerikans were no longer buying their tosh.
The documentary was an early victim of the Saudi/UAE attack on Qatar (the home of AJ) that left al Jazeera’s staff extremely upset and the leaks have been continuous.
The article goes on to discuss current methods of the israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs, methods to be used on websites which square with much of the nonsense we have been subjected to. I’m not going to waste space by pasting any of it here, don’t be put off by the intro, this goes way past rewording Mearsheimer or any of the already familiar stuff about aipac and the deceivers. I reckon we all need to read it in its entirety before hunting out the four part doco which will inevitably surface on the web in the not-too distant future, especially since the cold shouldering of Qatar has re-commenced.

The censored al Jazeera documentary on the USAmerican Israeli lobby may well be Qatari propaganda. Some may have noticed that I am quite critical of al Jazeera Arabic (which heavily campaigned for Muslims from around the world to go to Syria and fight holy Jihad against the hated secular government of the infidels). But propaganda is not necessarily false. To propagate is to nurture and help to grow.
At any rate, I haven’t seen anyone mention that al Jazeera made another documentary on the Israel Lobby, but in Britain. It was released and may be viewed here:

Did your friends work for AJ Arabic? Have you discussed with them their network’s 5+ years of promoting Jihad against Syria? One program especially intrigued me. It was a debate as to whether the people of Foah and Kefraya should be allowed the chance to convert to Wahhabi Islam, or just killed. The “moderator’s” decision at the end was that those civilians were just animals, and so should be slaughtered.
Those are the towns that were later part of the “four towns” agreement where people were allowed to evacuate from 2 towns held by the government and 2 held by the “rebels.” Foah and Kefraya were rebel-held towns. And when the buses left with people fleeing the “rebels,” they were stopped, and children were lured out with the offer of “crisps” and then blown to pieces. Most of the 80 to 100 children killed or wounded, and rounded up by White Helmets and risked away, have never again been seen by their parents.
At any rate, my point was that AJ English had already released their documentary on the Israel Lobby in Britain. I found it quite excellent, and I expect that the Lobby’s tactics in the US are quite similar.

Imagine a religion that could be embraced by Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Zoroastrians, and Buddhists—a religion that served to unite all of mankind in one system of belief. I can not know if there is a unifying religion among the elite , nor what form it takes, but I do think there is such an element that motivates and binds them beyond money and power , which may simply be a means to an end.
Remembering always that in order for men to do evil they must believe they are doing good.
One trick is to dehumanize those they destroy. Perhaps the cognitive elite which make up most of the elite, with IQ’s 4-6 times that of the average human consider the average human to be what homo sapiens considered neanderthals to be.
Perhaps the religion is driven by a neomalthusian and Darwinian desire to cleanse the world of those resource hogging humans who are cognitively incapable of contributing to mans further evolution in a technological world and whose genetic material does not have the right stuff. Evolving man so he may be God, made as he was in Gods image.
Who knows?
Consider also the nature of these various groups. All have a organization chart much like a pyramid, the symbol and secret of an elite ruled civilization. Only the top 1% know all. The rest are on a need to know basis with less knowledge the further down the org chart they are. Many of these organizations and corporations are interlocked so the elites are all connected
So the CIA, military, nations, etc….may do evil but the vast majority of the members are good people believing they are doing good. Those few who awaken to the evil, rightly or wrongly perceived as such, are restrained by laws, financial dependency and other means from doing anything.

I will add my thought that everyone has fought a long and hard road to get to this point. The terrorists must die, or be otherwise neutralized. Nothing will stop this. By comparison with the firepower that is about to be unleashed, and the fierce human intelligence and discernment that will be brought to the task – as well as the nightmare of Russian power sitting out in the Med – by comparison with all this, it seems difficult to make a place for US false flag nonsense in this scene. It could happen, and even so be completely dwarfed by the reality of events on the ground.

I know journos in both branches and although the person I discussed the doco on amerika with a while back worked for AJ english, types I know who work for AJ Arabic news are not crazed wahabists, nor are they all exiles from some MB arsehole. Most of em risk life and limb daily getting up close to mucho bang bang and don’t involve themselves in editorial decisions.
I don’t advocate the antics of the terrorists imported into Syria, but neither do I believe that life for all was peachy in Syria before locals suddenly picked up guns and began shooting the sh1t outta local law enforcement for no apparent reason. Pre 2011 corruption was endemic in Syrian police and military and my limited experience of AJ Arabic encompasses the same wide range of views which have changed over time as one finds in any thinking population. That is to say how some types felt at the beginning of the insurrection when they imagined Syria could be rid of a restrictive and sometimes oppressive mob of local petty tyrants is not the same as they feel now after 7 years of bloodthirsty destruction.
Some intelligent and traveled Syrians were prepared to ignore the less salubrious credentials of their new found comrades if they thought it could get them out from under tyranny.
This was a lot like the millions of Egyptians who voted for Mohamed Morsi who weren’t up for any fundie nonsense but were desperate to be shot of having their nation run exclusively for the benefit of the military, when Morsi showed he was a different type of arsehole they reasoned they could get shot of him the next election, but that wasn’t how the pigs worked. I don’t want to pick at old scabs around here where most seem to disagree, but I still reckon the 2013 army coup was the worst possible thing that could happen to Egypt, even if Morsi had sent a few ninnies into Syria (which I cannot see he would, given the tense relationship between him and the army which existed back then).
I don’t agree with everything on either AJ but there is much that is good on both versions and there is bad sh1t too. You get that on all media eg I switched off RT in disgust yesterday when one commentator took a too credulous line on the nonsense zionists have been saying about Mr Corbyn. Russia is negotiating a tortuous path and it is inevitable that editorially many opinions be acknowledged. I don’t dismiss RT over their dodgy take on israel so why would I dismiss AJ on some other issue I disagree with?

I mostly agree with you. Usury is immoral. I have been attacked for using private finance as the generalization of most the country’s Central and other banks as well as the IMF, World Bank, BIS, SWIFT, City of London , Fed and whatever else I have missed so I became comfortable thinking that public banking was enough of a differentiator but you are correct that the core services provided by my previous list need to be totally redefined as public focused and not elite focused.
@ Grieved with his nice summary of our moment in time…….thanks but I am of the opinion that Israel is about to do something that the majority of the world will find heinous……further lines will be drawn, sides taken and threats made. What happens then will tell the tale. As sick as this sounds, not enough people have died yet to get the attention of our species that we have a critical problem requiring worldwide response….but it is coming in my lifetime which I am pleased to see….because I think the outcome will be positive for our species…..and yes, will work toward…beating my drum.
