A couple of days ago, Houthi rebels supposedly destroyed a KSA missile frigate. Seeing there was so little media attention, was it real or not? The video clip doesn't show a lot and the explosition could easily have been a missile exploding before reaching its target due to missile defense systems...

Predictably, the media is giving Chump's thinly veiled threats to Iran a pass.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-iran-missile-nuclear-1.3965121

Note how the URL includes the word "nuclear" even though the missile Iran tested, as is its right, was not equipped with a nuclear warhead.

A Europe in disarray would be a dream true for the Breitbart armchair thugs and Chump's handler Steve Bannon who wants to remake the world in his bitter and vengeful image. Good times ahead.

The UK press purposely misreported the specifics of the event(A conflict of interest re profiting from War Crimes?). The claim that the ship was attacked by three suicide boats, with one exploding against the stern of the ship does not bear scrutiny. The Saudi-coaliton released a statement to the above re 'suicide boats' and that has been breathlessly stenographed by the typical MSM, then reporting was, dropped.

The video footage does show at least the filmed perspective of two small boats from the port & starboard stern quarters of the Saudi Frigate. There is nothing in the video showing any boat approaching the Frigate nor any defensive fire by the Frigate against an approaching boat which would be readily detected upon an approach, nor any defensive maneuvers by the Frigate.

The Saudi Al-Madinah class Frigate is a light missile Frigate with a design role of anti-ship, light Air Defense & Anti Submarine Warfare. It has virtually nil capability to defend against Anti-Ship cruise missiles nor likely even successfully detect them until the very last moments prior to impact.

The Houthis showed the footage on Al Masira channel contradicted the 'coalition' account.

Army forces backed by Ansarullah resistance movement claimed firing a guided missile at al-Madinah warship in waters near the port city of Hudaydah, located 150 kilometers southwest of the capital Sanaa, al-Masirah television network quoted an unnamed military source as saying.

The warship had reportedly mounted missile attacks against Yemen’s western coasts, cities and fishermen.

The video provided by Yemeni army points to the enormity of the explosion and subsequent fire on the deck of the Saudi vessel.

They have done this more than once before.

The Saudi-led coalition said the attack on the ship was a serious development that "would impact international navigation and the flow of humanitarian assistance to the port for Yemeni citizens.." Disingenuous at best.

An Al Madinah-class light missile frigate of the Saudi Arabian Navy was targeted by an anti-ship missile fired by the Houthis off the coast of Yemen. - (Defense Watch)

This is not the first time Houthis target ships by anti-ship missiles, the Saudi-led coalition confirmed that the United Arab Emirates’ high-speed logistics vessel, Swift, was hit off Yemen early on 1 October by a Chinese-built C-802 anti-ship missile.

C-802 anti-ship missile
Due to the Yingji-82 missile's small radar reflectivity, low attack flight path (only five to seven meters above the sea surface) and strong anti-jamming capability of its guidance system, target ships have a very small chance of intercepting the missile(Or detecting). The single shot hit probability of the Yingji-82 is unknown, though one unreferenced source claims it to be as high as 98%.

...

News reports indicate that this was the missile used[22] on July 14, 2006, in the 2006 Lebanon War when Hezbollah fired two at Israeli warships.[23][24] One missile hit the corvette INS Hanit, causing significant damage and four fatalities.[25] Iran, the reported supplier of the missile to Hezbollah, refused to formally confirm or deny the claim. The Hanit suffered severe damage, but stayed afloat, got itself out of the line of fire, and made the rest of the journey back to Ashdod for repairs on its own.[26]

...

One fired from Yemen on 1 October '16 destroyed(written-off) HSV Swift, a leased transport ship under the control of the United Arab Emirates, who are supporting the Yemeni government in a civil war against the Houthis. Analysis of the damage caused by that missile led experts to believe it was a C-802.

The Saudi coalition forces claimed the HSV Swift was carrying aid to Yemen. The Houthi's claimed it was transporting troops & military arms/materiel(Highly probable).

A week later Former President Barack Obama launched cruise missile strikes on coastal radar sites in response in Washington's first direct military action against suspected Houthi-controlled targets in Yemen's conflict, claiming patrolling US navy vessels had supposedly been repeatedly attacked, unsuccessfully.

The strategic Red Sea shipping lane, the 20km (12 mile)-wide Bab al-Mandab strait, has more than 3.4 million barrels of oil passed through it daily, as reported in 2013.

Houthis ambush a Saudi Army position in Jizan
February 3, 2017 (Video 2Min 15Sec)

Yemeni Houthi fighters ambushed a Saudi Army position in the bordering Saudi region of Jizan on Thursday, taking advantage of the thick fog.

A published video of the successful ambush attempt shows a handful of destroyed Saudi Army vehicles and trophies taken by the infiltrators.

The infiltration comes days after a Saudi Al Madinah-class frigate targeted by anti-ship missile off the coast of Yemen.

The Jizan Region is the second smallest region of Saudi Arabia. It stretches some 300 km along the southern Red Sea coast, just north of Yemen.

"Good times ahead"

Minions of Satan have been set loose as piped pipers to an under educated, over propagandized, 'tele' lobotomized, media terrorized, & disenfranchised army of permanently-frustrated-by-design rabble carefully partitioned into fictional camps hollering handmedown slogans at each other.

(Here I point the finger in all directions, sparing neither snowflakes nor deplorables and not one -ism.)

If 'they' had even the tiniest measure of sense we would not be here today. Those of 'us' with tiny measure of sense saw all this coming decades ago, and now there is nowhere for us to seek refuge, and how futile to try and reach this mindless rabble of so called Humanity busy getting ready to slaughter one another (yet again) at behest of what trully deserves the name of Evil?

France (also > Mina’s posts previous.)

The Fillon scandal (he paid wife and children for ‘fictitious posts’ to the tune of all together now reaching close up to one million Euros) will see him dead in the water.

His platform was to cut Gvmt. spending, aka “Austerity”, France becoming “competitive” (details left off) - he presented as a a solid clean conservative … while :) Yuuge Gvmt. spending was apparently going to him and his family for like baking cookies twice a year?

Heh what?

Cahuzac, who was a ‘junior’ Minister of Finance under Hollande, swore to chase tax cheats to the end of the earth “say”, and then he turned out to be one himself. A fat bank account in CH, hastily moved offshore further away (much too late, showing he didn’t even have a clue about Int’l banking and EU laws..!) — Plus his wife had a two million+ undeclared account in the Isle of Man, etc. etc., see also Panama Papers. (story is buried etc.)

Sarkozy is embroiled in various very serious cases, accusations, illegal campaign finance, various levels of fraud, false docs, corruption, active corruption, ‘traffic of influence’, concealment, the Bygmalion affair, etc. (10s of millions of Euros…) the Karachi affair, the Bettencourt affair ..all are still being investigated etc. And more…I’m not making it up…here a right-wing paper sorta lists..in F. Putting an ex Pres. of France in prison.. oh no…

Omg! Where do I start? Either Trump's losing his screws everywhere or the mask has come off.

The title of this one says it all.:

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/02/trump-announces-plan-to-let-wall-street-scam-america-again.html

Trump taking care of his Zio-Wall-Street 1% buddies; to hell with Americans! Wall Street windfall is served a la Trump; then he pretends the crumbs will benefit the 99%. That's what he means by America first; peeps. The definition matters. Projecting your hopeful interpretation on Trump is a futile deluded endeavor.

Next:

Kelly Ann has more alternative facts.:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/feb/03/kellyanne-conway-refugees-bowling-green-massacre-never-happened

And she no doubt thought no one would check the facts!

This comes after Trump's defense officials tried to keep quiet about the civilian casualties in the Yemen raid. Because of that lie, the media ran the alternative facts over an entire day until an anonymous source at defense leaked the truth later and they had no choice but to reveal the truth.

The Iran obsession escalates yet again. Iran; Iran; Iran - Uncle Scam's new boogeyman for war. Trump can't stop threatening Iran every single day on twitter. Here's the latest:

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/827478751931924480

Newsflash: Trump calls Obama kind!!! That should come like an ice bucket to Trump apologists around here who rail against Obama 24/7. Roflmao! First he defends Obama from Chelsea Manning's criticism and now he threatens Iran warning he won't be as kind as Obama. So what does Trump mean he won't be so kind? Come on apologists, I dare ya to spin something innocent out of this belligerent provocation following yesterday's threats!

It ain't over; all in one day. He also actually had time to go at it with the Terminator on twitter as well:

Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a really bad job as Governor of California and even worse on the Apprentice...but at least he tried hard!

Lol. I'll bet he stayed up all night preparing that zinger.

He also had time to launch a twitter storm railing against the Louvre attack to justify his unjust banned list; but so far not a peep on alt-right Trump fan shooting Muslims at prayer in the back in Quebec mosque.

And he slammed protesters on twitter as well lumping all protests as organized anarchy. So he's gunning for dissenters as well. Send in the Feds, right? Well, he can expect a whole lot more dissent with very good reason.

Aye-aye-aye. It's like I warned; he'll be Cheney on steroids.

For all you still pretending poor Trump man-baby inherited neoliberalism's problems; naw, that's not his problem; he's an uninterrupted continuum; he's piling on the neocon version!

Wait...it's only week two. Stop apologizing already!

Perhaps being dirty ie. supplying blackmailing material is a necessary requirement for anyone getting promoted in the French politics, so it is really only found out when someone needs to be disabled for whatever reason?

@20 q, 'supplying blackmailing material is a necessary requirement for anyone getting promoted in the French politics'

handing in an undated resignation on promotion is a requirement? given the structure and personnel of the present western system - certainly not just the french - it is a bug or a feature, take your pic. a zero day defect in any case. fixing it requires a rewrite of the code, seems to me. bottom-up.

Do not worry about superfluous ME war issues, BREXIT, US Presidential signing statement fiats or EU political posturing. Apparently Fukushima Reactors are open nuclear sewers. Anyone who knows anything realizes that the Nuc'lur Industry is a .01% Holy Cow and cannot be questioned.

A containment vessel at the destroyed Fukushima No. 1 power plant has reached off-the-chart radiation levels, reported the Japan Times.

The reading of 530 sieverts per hour represents the highest level of radiation the reactor site has seen since three nuclear meltdowns hit the power plant in March 2011 almost five years ago -- and also among the most deadly.

To put the danger to human life into perspective, the 530 sieverts reading is high enough to prove fatal during even brief exposure, compounding the problem of containment for the government and Tokyo Power Electric Company (TEPCO). 4 sieverts would kill one in two people, and 1 seivert could lead to hair loss and infertility, the Japan Times noted, citing the National Institute of Radiological Sciences.

From day one I said Trump is his own worst enemy; and will be the author of his own demise. Quit with your conspiracy theories; blaming this, that and the other. Quit excusing the same neocon policy on Israel, on Iran, on Yemen on Syria; safe zones crap with the Saudis, and just today Spicer confirming that the scripted lies Nicki Haley delivered against Russia yesterday are exactly the message the administration wanted her to deliver regarding Russia. Quit excusing his MIC/Wall Street cabinet. Just today he hired a deputy CIA director who was in charge of a torture black site in Thailand under Bush. Just today he delivered a windfall to Wall Street. Just today he amped sanctions against Iran; and threatened worse.

Quit excusing the monumental gaffes, rants, lies and his disinformation minister, Conway, and his racist-in-chief, Svengali, Bannon! Trump is the conductor of this crazy train and if it's going off the rails, it's ALL HIS DOING! He's to blame; not conspiracy, not Democrats, not anarchists, Obama or Arnold what's-his name, or anyone else. It's all his undoing, he alone is self-imploding, and I warned everyone from the beginning he's a fraud, a raving megalomaniac in over his head, just another sock puppet for the deep state, a Zionist shill, a con, and yes, yes he's a freaking Neo-con and more of the same. Enough with the apologist bullshit.

Nice catch. Funny how the media has rallied behind his belligerence against Iran.

Israel was pushing for action on Iran before Trump amped up the sanctions. Netanyahu asks him to sabotage the U.N. Resolution on illegal settlements - done. He asks him to take action because of a measly medium-range missile test - done.

If there is ANY doubt left about 'Mr Anti-Establishment' aka 'Mr Law and Order', Trump has in his first week attacked Iran, attacked Russia (economic sanctions are an act of war), Trump had widened the GWOT to Yemen by slaughtering an 8-year old American school girl, Trump has spiked fiduciary duty for bank-brokers to their clients (remember, after GLB, all banks are arbitrage units of Wall Street) and in the final moments before beer:30, not even a week in office, Trump filed for re-election in 2020, so Ivanka and Freddie Kruger, uhh, sorry, Jared Kushner, could expense the left-over campaign funds from 2016. Joy trip junkets? All part of T2020. Redecorate Mar-aLago? Tacky tacky T2020.

You and me? Our managed pension funds will IMMEDIATELY be churned and burned. Your company probably hasn't even paid in its matching share, lol! All the managed Mom and Pop 401ks? Load the boat with junioured-lien REITs in cratering cities and commercial shopping malls. Have you seen Auction.com? All that radioactive junk ends up in your portfolio, probably by after-hours during the Super Bowl.

"We won, you lost. It's just business, get over it. Now get the f'ck out of my office!"

It's what Trump does! A bloviating draft-dodging serial bunko artist from Brooklyn, New Yawk. And he won't stop until the whole world is in flames, until every poor wretch is turned out homeless onto the street, until our pensions and SS/MC are looted and gone, and a $30 TRILLION stone hung around our collective necks, as civil war begins and the Israelis dance on their rooftops.

All these right to work laws have clauses in them, that, although employees aren't required to join the Union, the Union is forced to represent said worker, in any disputes between management and labor. Without dues, the Unions can't afford the costs of legal help, and the Unions go bankrupt. Which is exactly the point.

In most states where these RTW laws are in effect, workers wages suffer to the tune of between 5 to 6K a year less.

Which again, is exactly the point.

"With Trump administration taken over by Goldman Sachs, nothing can surprise us, anymore. The fairy tale of the 'anti-establishment' Trump who would supposedly fight for the interests of the forgotten - by the system - Americans, was collapsed even before Trump election.

What's quite surprising, is how fast the new US president - buddy of the plutocrats, is offering 'earth and water' to the top 1% of the American society, as if they had not already enough at the expense of the 99%. His recent 'achievement', was to sign for more deregulation in favor of the banking mafia that ruined the economy in 2008, destroyed millions of working class Americans and sent waves of financial destruction all over the world. Europe is still on its knees because of the neoliberal destruction and cruel austerity."

If there's a civil war, foreign war, or at the very least martial law as a result, then 'so be it.'

By the way, the internet seems to be quietly becoming more censored. IMDB's messageboard is being shut down. Yes, that's an amazon company and it's movies, but it was a high volume messageboard regardless.

Don't be surprised if, say, NBC or WaPo suddenly fall in-line with the Trump admin.

Has it crossed anyone's mind that the Soros, DNC and Beyond led protests are a set up? The whole thing is like a giant agent provocateur event. When the real agents get some real violence happening the new Washington management team will have their casus belli to really institute some devastating restrictions on civil liberties, democracy and the shutting down of society. It is almost like the elites couldn't wait anymore for the people to push back so they had to instigate their own "people's rebellion' to advance their domestic agenda to secure their own backyard before the real match play begins. As Lionel posted these no mind protesters WERE ALLOWED to do their thing at AIRPORTS as the most secured installations in the nation. This is reallt beginning to smell like a set up to me. These protests if they get out of hand are the stuff of elite wet dreams.

@27 The news from Fukushima is utterly devastating. This world's civilisation needs to take a stop from the utter stupidity it is presently engaged in.Who will be sacrificed to go in and stop this living leaking nuclear bomb every Sievert a killer in itself. We need not exaggerate with any hope, this is the end for many many people. What is going on there - any reports? Having once studied and written a long article for public use on radio-activity for the Donegal County Council,to protest mining of Uranium ; and recently reading S.Alexievich' Chernobyl Prayer, her interviews that make clear the Russian Government knew not what to do sending for Andre Sakarov from Siberia where he had been confined. V.B Nesterenko a director of Atomic Energy Institute Belarus reported the refusal and denial of Russian Ministry to allow medical emergency - o jasus, we all, all of us, all know what this could mean to Japan and the wide diaspora of the Far East. Already countless cases of destroyed lives of infants and the populations recorded in the Middle East because of American bombs using Uranium, already since Gulf War One and ever since in every American sortie. Do these foolish women marching really know what Clinton wanted and Obama pushed for - war with Russia? The Russians do not want war, President Trump does not want war,and in the interim of stupidity in mock military exercises - everyone knows war would be nuclear. I write as an old woman in my eighties, I beg you beloved men come out to stop the stupid displays of the mothers and the ignorant egotisim of their educated children, because where human life survives they must learn to save it. Like 911, on 311, a Bush-Israeli “security” firm Magna BSP was in charge of the security at multiple nuclear sites in Japan, including the Fukushima nuclear power plants! Where is their report? They all left Japan a week before the event. Their unique connections to the Israeli Mossad and Homeland Security, in combination with their more than questionable or even suspicious behavior, techniques and equipment bring up more than just one reason to assume active sabotage from Israel.

Oh, no, the Israeli's wouldn't hurt a fly!

A nuclear mine would create that tsunami, and a small nuclear device planted at reactor 4, which was shut down, would destroy the moon pool, and then plant operations were destroyed by the Stuxnet. Motive and means, those clever Bush-Israelis. How even more evil their media reports, which kept us all in the dark as radioactivity swept around the world.

But Americans have been brainwashed, no, BLEACHED, to never question, to never even speak in whispers their mashughana Overlord's name in vain. Now we are $20 TRILLION in debt-slavery to their private Fed bank, the Goldmanim are in control of every level of US Finance and Treasury and oversight, and Fukushima may cook off at any moment, destroying the last range of the great Pacific Salmon People, and all life on 8,000 miles of coastline.

But Bibi is coming! Bibi is coming! Bibi is coming!
Stand and applaud wildly until your fingernails bleed!

Bunch'a f'cking Hari Krishna's.

Never again. Stop Trump.

FADE IN

INTERIOR - HOTEL CORRIDOR

Donald Trump walking forcefully down the corridor, a bit slumped forward, frowning. Behind him march Jared Kushner and Michael Flynn. All are wearing full length black leather jackets.

Flynn has his revolver out. Jared has a smirk on his face.

Trump stops in front of room 4788, squints, and nods to Flynn while pursing his lips.

Trump: Kick it!

Flynn rams the door, breaking in. He enters training his weapon on the couple under the covers in the bed.

Trump follows in, glaring.

Stephen Bannon slowly peeks his head from under the covers. Jared walks in and rips away the covers.

Milo Yiannopoulos shrieks and holds Bannon tighter.

Trump takes out his smartphone and swipes. It's a recording, apparently of Bannon addressing his alt-Right troops:

"What that ridiculous entertainer says means nothing to us. This is our movement, and Trump is a traitor, and if we can't get there with him, we'll get there without him. The alt-Right is the movement not that silly man's twitter followers!"

Flynn is smiling. Donald is flushed and shaking with rage. Jared's eyes are sparkling as he slowly rubs his hands together.

More European countries sent President Trump hilarious welcome videos

A few days ago, a welcome video for President Trump made by a Dutch late night show went viral, asking the newly anointed American president to make the Netherlands second — you know, with America being first for Trump and all that. It turns out that other European countries were jealous of the Dutch and their motives, and they came up with their own welcome clips for Trump...

Being a union laborer, myself, believe me that I am all for organizing and demanding maximum compensation for our work. Regarding your study, though, do you think that they took into account that coastal states, which are union territory, have a much higher cost of living and thus higher compensation, while heartland and conservative leaning states which are less union-dense, have a cheaper cost of living/less total compensation. It looks like the study doesn't address that reality and so is rather slanted, dontchathink?

Donald Trump 'reviewing Cuba policy', says White House
Possible hardening of stance towards communist island follows improving relations under Barack Obama

Donald Trump is to conduct a "full review" of America's foreign policy towards Cuba, White House press secretary Sean Spicer has announced.

He said the President planned to look at "all" aspects of how the US deals with its historic enemy, which lies just 90 miles south of Florida.

Human rights would be a key part of Mr Trump's revised policy towards Cuba, the press secretary said.

Mr Spicer's comments suggest Washington may take a harder line with Cuba, raising the possibility of new trade embargoes and the cancellation of commercial flights from the US, which were only recently introduced...

I posted this on the previous thread by mistake when I meant it for this one.

Don’t apologize for Trump by blaming an Obama Neolib legacy; as Obama’s supporters had no right to apologize for Obama by blaming a Bush Neocon legacy. If another war happens, it’s on people who continue to repeat this vicious cycle and put on a pedestal whatever figurehead either party chooses believing this is THE ONE to save us from the other’s crimes and inadequacy. The only way to get out of this web of corruption and deceit is to personally assume responsibility for ending it by doing what the rulers do, not discriminate, in our case, in condemning either party equally as they manipulate them equally. We must act on this momentum and own the message for ourselves. We must quit looking for messiahs to rescue us and recognize that the enemy of corruption is the cabal that manipulates both sides equally without discrimination. We must go after them! We must drive a stake through the heart of the so-called deep state that is sucking away at human and financial treasure.

Above all don’t demean dissent; don’t allow the rulers of our fate to manipulate the narrative; don’t discourage protest; don’t allow them either on the right or the left and especially the wealthy who choose the figureheads to hi-jack whatever movement arises from dissent and protest. You don’t want Soros to underwrite the revolution with his narrative, then damn it – fight for the damn message! Don’t squander your conviction and the fight in you saving Trump’s ass! He’s not in it to save yours! It’s not about Trump or Obama; they represent the same corrupt system. They’re both egotistical spineless pretenders who betray with every word they utter. Spread the people’s narrative every chance you get everywhere you can while you slam their chosen figurehead. We don’t want more wars for their religion: oil, white and dollar supremacy and pipelines; we don’t want to occupy others, we want social justice without discrimination; we don’t want Zionists suborning politicians; we want Wall Street on a leash and the Federal Reserve under a microscope. The only reserve worth protecting is our water and green spaces. We don’t want to rule the rest of the world with military and financial tyranny – we want a multi-polar world. We want balance. WE DON’T WANT EMPIRES. It is our obligation to oppose legislation that reeks of injustice; that exploits the defenseless; there’s no subterfuge in protesting that. Don’t pre-empt the revolution that could be with conspiracies that aren’t– fight whatever real conspiracy lurks with the message unfettered by the two-party system and a misguided loyalty to its current figurehead. Don’t crush what this Presidency, (that is no better than the previous two and proving worse), to its detriment is unwittingly stoking and awakening being our capacity to engender the real change we desperately seek. This Presidency is different only in that it is driving us to the darkest place we need to go where our moral red line exists, our breaking point so we can rise up in righteous protest to take back our power. This is the only way out and we must do it together, united as one invincible force independent of our ideological preferences. So quit apologizing for the other side of the same coin. The system is so corrupt that it requires our undivided commitment and conviction. If you think that the 99% fighting for a better future is a pipe dream; then fight for all the lives hanging in the balance on the other side of our planet that this cabal, the rulers, that own Trump and both sides of the aisle and much more globally, deems expendable; what they consider human refuse, waste they must discard to achieve their greedy, selfish and evil end; their WORLD ORDER. Don’t let them drag us into their bogus clash of civilizations; don’t buy in to their imperial machinations. The other, Islam, is not our enemy; our enemy are those who will do anything to corrupt the people’s democracy to impose a world order that ensures and sustains their absolute rule. They are the real enemy and Trump is their latest showman and pied-piper leading us away from our best interests and our moral centre.

Now, I’m not saying that if this nascent insurrection starts to grow, something, a distraction, won’t happen to slam the door shut on this historic opportunity; causing the fuse to fizzle; the revolutionary explosion that could have been to abort; but if that should regrettably happen, never stop asking WHO and WHY, because even gravity will be turned against us to sustain the status quo and our perpetual servitude.

I know a little bit about this from a R/E developer who rushed down to Cuba to catch 'The Boom'. Americans are to money
as Germans are to sex tourism. Cuba wants a local partner, no foreign ownership, strong Party politics, it's not gonna
happen. What TPTB will never let happen is medical tourism, already huge to our 'enemy' Mexico, hence 'The Wall' and
everything that goes with TSA asking why you're going to Mexico, or Cuba. Healthcare in the USA sucks. Ergo, close Cuba,
and wall off Mexico. If you have big-ticket elective surgery needed, you better get your visa before that door shuts.

Meanwhile, outside the prison, two special ops arrive at Barron's private school, and tell the secret sevice agents that
Barron is to go with them back to NY City, to Trump Tower. In the Washington Tunnel, later that day, the special ops agent
riding in back smothers Barron with a pillow as he sleeps. Shortly thereafter, Kushner's private cell phone clicks five
times. 'He sleeps with the fishes." Kushner's eyes gleam with excitement, as they stage Banner and Milo in an auto-erotic
embrace with piano wire, then slowly twist it tighter, and tighter. He fondles the short-needle syringe in his pocket that
will make Trump's heart stop. They will pretend to resuscitate him for 10 minutes before calling for help. Far away in
Tel Aviv, Netanyahu's private phone clicks five times.

It is done. Kushner-Miller 2020.

Probably the case with this one: it ends the study with "geographic location can affect these results." California is, I believe, the only state in the union which has been adding union jobs, as of late and it just so happens that their col is the highest in the nation. I would think this has affected the study more than the origin would like to address. The study also admits that non-union wages have increased along the same rate as union, which is a positive for working people who are non-union. Whether union or non-union jobs have led this rate increase, who knows.

I think the real pain is evident when you look at shrinking union rates in the US. Pull up a gif map on Google and have a gander. Pretty amazing, and this may have to do with stagnating wages overall in the US. In fact, I would say that is probably what is most glaring about the decline of unions.

Part of Trump's appeal is relocating manufacturing locally. He may be the first president in fifty years to oversee a patterned rise in union membership. Decline in the moral fabric of America, as hoaky as that sounds, I think is directly correlated to lack of meaningful, productive work available to family breadwinners. It would be nice to increase foreign policy consciousness of the average Joe, but reinstalling a sense of future, purpose, and legacy is extremely vital to the American working class.

Posted by: NemesisCalling | Feb 4 2017 4:44 utc | 59

NC @ 58: Except the below excerpt, I agree completely..

"He may be the first president in fifty years to oversee a patterned rise in union membership."

" He may be" being the operative three words. Jury is WAY out.

I think the history of unionism might prove, that the higher the union rate, the higher the wages for every worker, even non-union workers.

Noirette, problem is that what Fillon did is what ca 20 % of mps do!
It s almost legal. Only since 2013 does the parliament has obligation to publush the names of the recipients of the mp enveloppe for his collaborators (9000 e)
What is not legal is to pay for nothing. In his case we don't know yet. Of course it s clear already that it was not much but at the time there was no real control and indeed it seems politicians could enjoy there somd easy money laundering machine. In Fillon's case, a millionaire (ceo of l oreal and on the Louvre Abu Dhabi) made a contract to his wife for a small job as a (she produced 2 half page bookreview in more than a year). Even the director of the journal (revue des deux mondes) was not aware of her existence or that of the contract.
You bet it : the msm don't spend much time on this part of the case or try to interview the ceo in question

Does a leopard change its spots?

Multiple lawsuits have targeted Trump's businesses over the years with allegations ranging from anti-union intimidation to hiring undocumented workers. In one case, the Trump Organization paid $475,000 to settle a claim with nearly 300 Los Angeles golf club employees in a class-action suit alleging unpaid wages and age discrimination, among other offenses.

The CIA’s New Deputy Director Ran a Black Site for Torture

Gina Haspel is now slated to become the second-most powerful official at the CIA despite – or because of – the central, aggressive, sustained role she played in many of the most grotesque and shameful abuses of the War on Terror.

[S]he played a vital role in the destruction of interrogation videotapes that showed the torture of detainees both at the black site she ran and other secret agency locations. The concealment of those interrogation tapes, which violated both multiple court orders as well the demands of the 9/11 Commission and the advice of White House lawyers, was condemned as “obstruction” by Commission Chairs Lee Hamilton and Thomas Keane. A special prosecutor and Grand Jury investigated those actions but ultimately chose not to prosecute. Today, as BuzzFeed’s Jason Leopold noted, CIA Director Mike Pompeo announced that Haspel was selected by Trump to be Deputy Director of the CIA.

This should not come as much of a surprise given that Pompeo himself has said he is open to resurrecting Bush-era torture techniques (indeed, Obama’s CIA Director, John Brennan, was forced to withdraw from the running in late 2008 because of his support for some of those tactics only to be confirmed in 2013). That’s part of why it was so controversial that 14 Democrats – including their Senate Leader Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, Sheldon Whitehouse and Tim Kaine – voted to confirm Pompeo.

'On April 12 there will be a ‘christening’ of the Navy’s new ‘stealthy’ Zumwalt destroyer at BIW. Veterans for Peace, PeaceWorks and other groups around Maine will hold a rally just across from where the public will assemble for the Navy show.

The Navy has to put on the good face for this one, largely because they did not want the expensive Zumwalt anyway; it was going to eat up too much of the shipbuilding budget. But the corporate forces behind the project pushed the door open and here we are.
.......................
President Obama pushed the Navy hard to go with the Zumwalt in spite of huge costs and questions about its strategic value. One should follow the interesting thread about the Crown family in Chicago (who are majority stockholders in General Dynamics) helping fund and direct Obama’s political career. There is much to learn there – a real “House of Cards” story.

but what has this gotta do with the GWH?

The French Revolution was never concluded!

jfl @ 21, you have a point. If things go on like this, she’ll be the last man (woman) standing.
Afaik the only ‘scandal’ she is involved in …is paying parliamentary assistants (EU) ‘too much’ or ‘illegitimately’ or something,

Mike @ 25. Macron is ex-Rotschild, as you know no doubt. But Le Pen cannot beat any ‘establishment’ candidate.
Tribal belonging to parties in F is incredibly strong. Through institutionalised structures, including heavy financial matters,
the top-to-down grip is ferocious.. Never would you hear like in the US ppl saying “I might vote Sanders, or Stein,
but would vote Trump over Hillary” etc. - basically a popularity context hyped in the media, in a landscape that is marginally political.

In F, the two ‘establishment’ parties hold the reigns over so much - regional development, infrastructure, re-distribution (tax),
all of finance, social security (..health, pensions..), transport, energy, agriculture, etc. etc.
The FN has not been able to penetrate *any* of these networks at all.

james @ 46. 1st round: slew of candidates, Sunday 23 April. 2nd, between the two top contenders, 7 May.

For the record, having just noted chipnik (57), would like to put the maximal distance possible between my original post which was intended as a playful allusion to "the night of long knives" and the (seriously proposed) analog of Röhm-Hitler and Bannon-Trump, and, the entirely unacceptable content matter of the user chipnik.

I'm posting this video I saw on CNN here and I really hope people get to see it to understand how cruel and senseless Trump's refugee/Muslim ban is. Please watch; it's absolutely heartbreaking.

Someone needs to put an end to Trump's ban permanently; it's disgusting.

@89 Thanks Alberto for extending coverage. Guardian did have a small notice of it today.

President Donald realizes with a sudden shock and furrowed eyebrows that he is in bed with happy cretins.
Americans don't have that kind of foresight. They think Der Donald is their White Knight riding an unicorn.
They think 'fiduciary' is someone you go to to get a REIT fractional interest-only junior lien note notarized.

@89 ALberto
Yeah, an impending, never-ending radioactive hole in
the earth...that's real news along with Syria, Ukraine, Libya,
upcoming Euro elections and the ongoing war on cash
across the globe deserves a little more airtime. Well, is much more deserving
of the coverage of anything Trump has done, or could do, within two weeks.
Posters like Circe are akin to an Obama drone strike -
final judgement without trial. Two weeks and guilty...really...?
Get a hold of yourself. With that said, witness the Wrath of Trumble (Aussie PM)
might be mildly entertaining at least.

'I remember when George Herbert Walker Bush (daddy Bush) was president. He went to South Korea and was at a fancy dinner. He got sick and threw up at the table. But the real scandal was that he had a note in his hand which told the South Korean government how many fighter planes they were expected to purchase from US aerospace corporations. It's like a mob shakedown.'

I noticed SNL managed to slip the 'Jew' thing into Melissa's Spicer send-up, but crushed the 'Fiduciary' thing, just as Breitbart ignores Trump's betrayal of his base as well. But his base is all watching the Super Bowl, happy as spineless clams, so you get who you vote for, don't you?

NPR, on the other hand, went full Jew on the 'Jew' holocaust, and is accusing Trump of betraying his 'base' (sic), the 4.5% of American Jews who thought DJT was their New Messiah. So Trump threw them an 'Iran' bone, and Bibi's flying in to establish 'Peace and Quiet', now that Wall Street has 'fiducuary duty' only to themselves, and that's a good thing, right?

Sure, it's your last life savings, or it was, but you gave it over to Them, The Chosen, and as the Jews like to point out, possession is 10/10s of the Law. Saw goodbye to your managed pension and your 401k.

Looting begins at 09:30. Dismissed.
