Cross-posting from the second page of comments on the last post:

Did Syria's Ambassador to the UN confirm the story about having captured intelligence officers from the GCC, Israeli and the U.S. (!) in East Aleppo?

This is excerpted from the 20-minute presentation to which another poster linked on the previous post, without specific comment on the claim to have captured intelligence officers.

How is this not all over the news? Even if it's just his allegation, it's a bombshell. Denials? Non-denial denials? Radio silence, as far as I can tell, and he delivered these remarks yesterday. dh suggested that the media won't touch it because of very serious negotiations -- how do the Ambassador's remarks fit into this?

james @4, I'm sure you knew it but this is very useful because now anyone who will speak to you about 'Russian propaganda', for example, you can show him this member of the US Congress who OFFICIALLY requested from the US government to stop funding jihadists.

You just have to bluster through it, b, and shout "Yellow Cake! Yellow Cake! Yellow Cake!!"

Bush Jrs administration was much more experienced than Trump's, yet brought on the greatest defeat in US history, 'let's rolled' two failed $4T oil wars, killed millions of innocents in the greatest war crimes holocaust in the 21stC, turned the whole world against 'the shining beacon (sic) of FreedomTM (sicker), and allowed the greatest economic crisis in US history to wipe out everyone's 401Ks and home equity, then loaned it all back to us QEn, with interest-only payments, forever, stolen our of our SS/MC TRUST FUND. That's an incredible record for two multi-$M war criminals, who are still walking around, free as jay-birds.

And in exactly ONE MONTH, it will all be on Trump and the Republicans, 100%. Nobody left to blame, as the Goldmanauts crush our 401ks and all our life savings, and their Pretorianims launch the Final Crusade of Moloch. "I can't tell you where all the money went!" Benhamin

Cognos @ 6, regarding the MSM silence about the capture of NATO officers from US, France, Germany, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia and other mid-eastern: I would interpret the silence to mean that continued silence is a bargaining chip held by Syria. Once Syria makes official mention in an unavoidably public venue-- say the UN-- the chip is spent. I saw no mention of their being intell officers, only officers.

The names of some of the captured are given here

I assume some non-officers as well.

I’m wondering if anybody can confirm or debunk Lozion’s & 83 on OT 2016-42?
It concerns the “Old Guard” of the KGB in which, quote:

Regarding Putin's role on world affairs as a ex-KGB officer, … a retired KGB general … postulates that as early as the Bolshevik Revolution days a small core of officers around Dzerzhinsky tried to uphold traditional russian & christian values and bidding their time managed to influence late Soviet years and contributed in having Putin in power, himself apparently a member of that "Old Guard".

If this is true and can be verified it helps explain to American russophobes how Russia (i.e. Putin) has become the leading moral and idealogical leader of the planet and explains the incessant demonizing of Putin by the imperialistic opposite end of the spectrum.

Anybody got any verifiable history of this claim?

It's both shame and glory that the ony suspect Naved B. had to be released.

The glory is that if this were the US (or many other countries) they would have kept him locked up knowing he was innocencent untill they would find the real attacker(s), even if it meant cooking up evidence. So at least there is some form of justice in Germany.

The shame of course is that dispite all the monitoring (numberplate scanners, tracking of peoples movements by their celular phone which has a SIM card tied to their ID card, ...), the evesdropping, the cameras, the dragnet to take away all privacy and control the populace, it didn't prevent this attack from occuring nor did it help them to catch the attacker instantly after the act of terrorism.

Because of the racist prejudice where some brown patsy was nabbed from the street, valuable time and resources were lost to track and find the real attacker(s).

T-30 days count-down before it's 100% on 'Mr. Law and Order' and his Likudnik Cabinet of Goldmanaut bankers, controlling every Finance department, including the auditors, and his Pretorianim generals, controlling every Military department, including the auditors too. Anyone who expects that, It Will Be "Glorious To Be Rich", is criminally insane. The SS/MC Trust Fund is the legally-mandated buyer-of-last-resort for the Fed's QEn junk T-bonds. This Trumpestilence will 'load the boat' with (-)$12 TRILLION moar in Infrastructure Privatization bicycling, from the US Treasury to the private bank vaults of NYCs nee Tel Aviv Khazar Mafia.

There are no heroes left. No patriots anymore. Just grifters like the Corzine's and the Petraus', in full control of the One Party of Mil.Gov.Fed, with daily Top Secret briefings being leaked off-channel through Jared Kushner, directly to the ears of Netanyahu, and AT&T/Mossad continuous surveillance of every e-mail, bank transfer and stock market trade.

Patrick Buchanan The Real Saboteurs of a Trump Foreign Policy

Tuesday December 20, 2016

The never-Trumpers are never going to surrender the myth that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the hacking of Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and the Democratic National Committee to defeat Clinton and elect Donald Trump.

“Over the weekend, Sen. John McCain called for a congressional select committee to investigate Russian hacking into the Clinton campaign. The purpose of the investigations, said Sen. Lindsey Graham, “is to put on President Trump’s desk crippling sanctions against Russia.”

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Do you suppose McCain and Graham dare insist on a select committee to investigate Russian hacking, meddling in the 2016 Presidential election…bring forth the evidence for all in full view?

Will not happen. CIA, FBI, NSA can’t show Nuthin.

And do you suppose with Mr. Tillerson installed the new SoS that they will put on President Trump’s desk crippling sanctions against Russia.” !!!?

These bamby twins are such blowhards. Who are they kidding?
Will those crippling sanctions include the Proton and RD180 rocket engines?

Oh McCain did try. Pentagon went to court.

The very engines, (without these), Pentagon is grounded. Ditto the EU. No communication satellites. Why Washington cannot ban Russia RD180 engines

Posted by: les7 | Dec 21 2016 1:24 utc | 34

Juannie @ 16, You say Putin is the leading moral & ideological voice of his time. I'll leave the "moral" aside for the moment. His ideology is to applaud the IMF, the WTO, and the UN-- all Western controlled. Even if they were not Western-controlled they are the first three floors of the global governance edifice which usurps national sovereignties, preventing the emergence of any variant of democracy. Not long ago Putin wanted to join EU and NATO, not disband them.

Russia's development continues hostage to the international banking cabal, as her issuance of her own currency & credits is limited by the Fed/IMF rules under which her Central Bank has no function except to support the dollar-ruble conversion rate, and the Central Bank "reserves" may not even be used as collateral. let alone as capital. So Russia is not truly owner of her own "reserves".

Putin's ideology is to support every institution of the emerging global oligarchy. Including the neoliberal economics of Russian austerity and the privatization of remaining State assets. He is demonized so that you will exclude from your mind the possibility that the Russian oligarchs are in substantial cooperation w the Western ones in producing the NWO.

It is not very different than the MSM demonizing Trump as a way to establish him as an "outsider," a person against the establishment.

If only you could acknowledge that heavy aircraft parts that fall from the sky must gouge holes in the sand of the Sinai and the soft farmland of the Donbass. Indeed the engines must half-bury themselves, as in real plane crashes, shown here what the impact craters of real plane crashes look like.

In the Sinai "crash" and the MH17 hoax there had to be collusion between the West and the Russian govt.

Well, having weathered the cia's electoral coup, we're in safe hands now ...

Trump adds another billionaire to his administration

On the same day that the Electoral College formally ratified his election, Donald Trump named billionaire Vincent Viola to be the new secretary of the Army in his administration.

The owner of the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League, Viola made his fortune as a commodities speculator. He graduated from West Point in 1977, served as an officer in the 101st Airborne Division and remained active for decades in the US Army Reserve. In 1982, he bought a seat on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), where he made millions on oil and gasoline futures during the 1991 Persian Gulf War.

By 2001, he had become the chairman of NYMEX and supervised emergency efforts that successfully restarted trading on the exchange less than a week after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, which temporarily shut down Wall Street.

In 2002, Viola and several partners began a new trading firm specializing in high-speed, computer-driven transactions. The company eventually became Virtu Financial, worth $2.4 billion and active on 200 exchanges worldwide, according to the Wall Street Journal. Retired Army General John Abizaid is on Virtu’s board of directors.

Viola worked with Gary Cohn at NYMEX in the 1980s. Cohn went on to become president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs, and earlier this month was named by Trump to be chairman of his National Economic Council.

Viola would be the sixth billionaire to take a prominent role in the Trump administration.

Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 1771 is a British Aerospace 146-200A, a small commuter jet and incapable of sustaining a '770 mph' airspeed crash, which would have BROKEN THE SOUND BARRIER. "Federal Bureau of Investigation, who after two days over digging through what was left of the site found a handgun containing six spent bullet casings and a note written on the air-sickness bag written by Burke, admitting he was the person responsible for the crash."

Ha,ha,ha. Breaking the sound-barrier, then exploding into 'pieces no bigger than a portion of a finger' on impact, including the four indestructible engines, ...but hey, the FBI got their man, or at least his gun and his confession letter, right here!

That led to this link, one of the crash victims was James Sylla, 53, Kentfield, Calif., president of Chevron USA, whose brother is Richard Sylla, the Henry Kaufman Professor of the History of Financial Institutions and Markets.

That then led to this link, don't ask me how, which I think all MoAs would love to chew on, as Modi is destroying India, like the 'lone gunman' destroyed PS 1771: Hitler Liberated India

See how easy that was, b? Thesis, antithesis, uhhh ... jabberwocky!

I regularly visit a web site called Reading the Pictures and here is a link they provided to pictures of the shooting of the Russian ambassador in Turkey.

And they link to the story and more photos by the photographer here

Where is the blood from the 8 shots fired? If, as the photographer said, he shot the ambassador in the back why is he lying on his back? And with a packed audience where is the ancillary human damage if the shooting was from the back?

I expect Penelope and others to explain how situations like this get pulled off w/o some major push back. If everyone is wagging the dog, when does reality step in and say HEY! try and fake this!......?

As long as we are all clear that private finance had nothing to do with anything going on we can rest assured that the future for humanity is bright and glorious, so carry on, nothing to see here....../snark

I have been trying for some time to get a clue as to the sides forming in the Glass Bead Game we see evolving before us. I have commented before here that Trump is the global plutocrats "don't throw me in the briar patch" puppet but I am not as sure of that now.

I read somewhere very recently that the combined net worth of the Trump cabinet pics is about 10 billion. That is chump change to the powers that be who in the past month have twice hammered down the price of gold with 10 billion dollar sales events each. And they are whipsawing other commodity prices as well.

So what is all this wag the dog shit about? Is this the new normal of a "sustainable" world economy? Are we approaching a world war?....who against who? I have thought for many years that private finance was going to finally lose control of our society but I feel like the only one beating that drum these days and have only organizations like BRICS and the China AIIB to get any support for that theory.

I guess the bottom line is that we are in a game that us pond scum only get to watch unfold but not understand who the players really are nor what the end goal is....which brings me to end with a quote from the Glass Bead Game by Hesse:
Although in a certain sense and for light-minded persons non-existent things can be more easily and irresponsibly represented in words than existing things, for the serious and conscientious historian it is just the reverse. Nothing is harder, yet nothing is more necessary, than to speak of certain things whose existence is neither demonstrable nor probable. The very fact that serious and conscientious men treat them as existing things brings them a step closer to existence and to the possibility of being born.

Contrary to Hollywood's visual mythology, small calibre pistol bullets with low kinetic energy usually stay inside the victim. High kinetic energy rifle bullets usually pass through the victim, taking some of their energy with them. Neither type of bullet knocks the victim off his or her feet or throws said victim halfway across a room. Most people who are shot and seriously wounded just go limp and flop onto the ground in whichever direction their centre of gravity, at that instant, dictated.

@ Hoarsewhisperer who answered my ignorance about bullet ballistics.....thanks!

What about the lack of blood? The photographer must have taken those pictures over a period of minutes and with 8 holes, not a trace that I could see.

Posted by: psychohistorian | Dec 21 2016 5:58 utc | 48

@ 22 berry friesen who seemingly says that the bible has all the answers that mankind needs to comport themselves.

I think that the bible like greek and roman mythology, buddhism, and other great writings provide learnings from those that came before us. Should we use them to run our world? I don't think so because they are also examples of hubristic "knowledge" of their the earth being the center of the universe....and don't get me started on patriarchy.

If all those that profess to be faith breathers stood up I suspect they could throw out the money changers of biblical lore but they have had centuries to do so and haven't....why is that?

I laughably point those more theologically oriented to this link and ask them why it seems there that pi = 3? If and when we answer that question I suspect there will be others just as daunting to those with the hubris to think mankind has all the answers in the myth of old.

Editor in chief of Forbes Polska (luring dupes worldwide into suicidal "rat race" by dangling made-up billionaire stories and "rankings") Michał Broniatowski (also involved in some shady deals in Banderaland) calls for bloody coup in Poland in a thinly veiled "question" - "8 itmes required to have Maidan in Warsaw", sounds like a plan?

State TV (TVP Info and other public channels) terrestrial signal blocked in most regions (started on Friday night just before the PM Beata Szydło was addressing the nation), thousands of viewrs reporting disruptions - the broadcasting infrastructure owned by a US company "Emitel" (which is an outrage, a direct threat to national security) which explains it by "system glitch", after system wide reset, still state braodcast during that exeptionally heated Christmas time, is intermittent. Whereas the competitors from US owned TVN Network can broadcast their anti-government programms without problems.

Prime minister, speaker of the house, head of the ruling party were praying yesterday in Jasna Góra monastery for "unity and peace during these hard times", this had been done historically only when grave danger against Poland had been imminent, e.g. the "Swedish deluge" in 17th. A lot of vocal calls from the government for unity, understanding, agreement. Rhetoric changed significantly, toned downed, very amicable. Sincere, deep condolences from the Polish Presdident (who on the occasion emphesized the necessity of fighting terrorism) and FM to the Russian offcials on the tragedy in Ankara. Growing politcial and economical ties with Belarus, Central European countries.

Satirical nightly in a poem basically equates Maidan with a putsch and warns about bloodshed.

Situation eerily resembles Marshal law in Poland intruduced 13 Dec 1981, than God that general Jaruzelski made that decision and saved the country from bloody CIA/MI6 sponsored Maidan and imminent Soviet Block military intervention (2 Soviet paratroopers divisions ready to pacify Warsaw with DR and Chekhoslovakian divisions securing the rest of Poland). Unfortuantely dozens of people died when "mysterious snipers" (like many times before and after in other countries - CIA/MI6) started shooting at miners, some abuses from the security apparatus also happened. Poland was heading towards total economical collapse thanks to economical and financial attack lanuched by global banking cabal in late 70s when great reforms of the PM Edward Gierek started to bear fruit lifting the country to the 8th position in the global GDP ranking, and politically Poland was seeking its place among the Nan-aligned movement (supported by starting its own research on the atomic bomb) - a direct threat to the Brutish Empire hegemony.

Right on cue AnlgoZio pressitiutes in the West are screaming about endangering democracy in Poland, talk about "destabilization" - a give away for a planned CIA coup, whereas there are aboslutely no such threats. Pathetic "useful idiots" from KOD (Komitet Obrony Demokracji, model after JewishKomitet Obrony Robotników from 70s who hiacked the Solidairty movement) paid by Soros are very aggressively trying to paralyze the work of the parliament, blocking the way oou of the building complex, throwig themselves under the cars, staging photo-op as if being hit by a police gas canister (none ever used). The opposition in parlament also attempting to block normal work under disguise of "fightin for freedom of the media", occupying the main chamber, loude calls for "counter-revolution on the streets". Lech Wałęsa disgracing himself with most idiotic comments, owned by the City Masters, denies the ruling party (whose members were physically abused on te street by a wild mob) the right to govern the country.

Parliament being cicrcled by the police, Kaczyński warning that the terrorism is approaching, announcement of the Military Police patrolling Warsaw soon.

German offcials talk clearly and ominously "we are at war", the same repeated in Poland.

Polish-British governmental consultations, unprecedented, a few weeks ago, only with the US before by the British. The aim is to impose on Poland plans to start war against Russia in 2017, to again shed sacred Polish blood in the interest of the Perfidious Albion.

Recent terrorist acts and conflicts are signs Brutish Empire of City of London Crown Corporation thalassocracy desperately trying to destroy the competition from emerging Eurasian superpower (Lisbon-Bejing), and the Empire building roadblocks in Ukraine and Syria through barbaric terrorism against the New Silk Road (from China through Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany), trying to set the European continent again on fire, as they did staging both world wars (Hitler's British Handler), Bolshevik revolution, creation of Zionist occupation of Palestine and many other bloody coups, conflicts, uprisings, piracy (dating from Francis Drake times) blocking shipping routes in strategic chokepoints to maintain world hegemony. NATO (as a US offcial stated created "to keep Germans down, AMericans in and Russians out") has been its semi-offcial military arm protecting drug production, smuggilng, distribution (its mainstay since the Opium Wars), human trafficking, arms trade.

People are fed up with AngloZio imposed "way of life", touted as the model by Brzeziński in his "Grand Chessboard", and are waking up all over the world.

Germany and Poland stand together as condolences are pouring to the close ones of the victims of recent heineous terrorist attack in Berlin (major buildings in the centre of Warsaw displaying signs of solidarity with the German capital) that started with murder of the Polish driver - massacred, stabbed many times while trying to fight off the attackers (confirmed by his cousin who owns that transportation company in Poland and was shwow the photos of that poor driver by the German police), then finally shot dead. It's weird that he was forced to wait 24 hours for unnloading, and in a area full of Arabs and Muslims as he described to his family on a phone call. Last talk at 1500, then at 1600 his wife could not reach him, netiher his cousing. For the next few hours the GPS recorded attempts to start the truck as if somebody was trying to learn driving (setting up "Boston brakes" remote control possibly?).

TASS: Cargo shipments from Europe to China by Russian high speed railroad to take two days

The greatest trick the British empire ever pulled was convincing the world it ceased to exist. That's been its power.

What has to happen so that good British people start acting and overthrow that cabal emanating from their islands ? The alternarive being nuking the shit out of that hell hole that the City of London is, and all Brutish military, security bases and facilities.

The next year battle gorund will be the EU with the elections in France and Germany, where the Empire will try anything it can to block candidates not hostile towards Russia, like Fillon, who could withdraw from NATO (joined by that traitor Sarkozy) and regain sovereignty. That's Trumps plan too and these attempts will be met with counter force of the falling empire, kicking and screaming.

Let's prey on the CIA (and MI6)... It's time to smash it into 1000s pieces as JFK promised shortly before being assassinated.

All signs indicate that the war is coming, I expect at least state of emergency in the EU and US within weeks, possible bio-weapons attacks.

As usual Reuters is full of fake news and propaganda

The first link
The link title: Aghast at Iran's Syria gains, Gulf Arabs see potential in Trump

A couple of choice quotes:
Any notion of Gulf Arab leverage in future negotiations seems far-fetched, given the determination of Assad, Moscow and Tehran to carve out territorial gains.
AlFaraj said he expected Trump to deal favorably with Gulf states, which have the wealth to help create U.S. jobs. He believed a suggestion by Trump that Gulf states pay for safe zones in Syria was worth considering.

"If he wants to create jobs there is no better field than selling weapons," alFaraj said. "We are the only people who have surplus cash."

The second link
The link title: Israeli ambassador backs Trump pledge to move U.S. embassy to Jerusalem

The quote:
Dermer said he hoped that next year when the new U.S. ambassador lights the traditional Hanukkah candles in his embassy, he will do so in Jerusalem.

The third link
The link title: Turkish military says Syria's al-Bab to Aleppo highway under full control

The quote:
Turkey-backed Syrian rebel forces besieging Islamic State-controlled al-Bab have gained full control of the highway linking the town to Aleppo with intense ground and air fire support, the Turkish military said on Wednesday.

The fourth link
The link title: Russia's Lavrov informs Kerry by phone about Moscow talks on Syria

The quote:
The Russian foreign ministry also said in its statement that U.N.-brokered negotiations in Geneva on the Syrian crisis had hit a dead end due to ultimatums from the Syrian opposition in exile. Moscow backs Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the conflict.

Making America Great Again seems to mean jobs for the MIC and keeping the swamp undrained/private finance in power and the ME/world in conflict.

@psychohistorian re lack of blood in photos of Russian ambassador shooting:
It seems the ambassador was shot dead, killed instantly. Not much blood pressure when the heart stops pumping. Blood still seeps out, but it won't "spurt" as it would with someone still alive.

In 2004 Poles and other people from Central Europe were lured into coming to the UK "to seek better life" in order to cut them from their homeland and switch their loyalty to the British as a preparation for coming war against Russia.

The difference of standards of living have been artificially maintained by creating "controlled chaos" in the colonies of the Brutish Empire in Europe and suppressing proposed reforms through puppet government, blackmailed by the Operation Gladio threat.

In Polish state TV satirical program (and pro-government social media) the opposition aggressively and disproportionately protesting against and sabotaging the ruling party have started to be called "ciamajdy" (Eng. "slouches"), written "CIAMajdy" - meaning CIA/Maidan agents...

Quite funny actually...

CIA fate is decided apparently...

re: Glass Bead Game

Haven’t you heard? We now live in a ‘POST-TRUTH’ universe. It’s the new buzzword.

'Post-truth' named word of the year by Oxford Dictionaries

Defined by the dictionary as an adjective “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief”

Given what passes as ‘objective facts’ at the institutional level of society, it seems this definition is just a bit restrictive.

There may be many more attempts before Jan 20th.

Some signals point to the scenario that the runaway perpetrator of the Berlin massacre, near the Budapest Street, will be found in Poland.

Budapest has been increasing security since this past weekend.

It's a weird story with this Paki guy being the perp, and then not.

So the german police are now looking for a tunisian man who's identification papers were discovered in the truck that plowed down the christmas shoppers.

It seems to be a recurring theme with the suspects leaving their IDs at the scene of the crime. This, Charlie hebdo, 9/11 (fire/explosion proof passports).

Psychohistorian @ 43:

The idea that the Russian ambassador should have fallen forward because he was hit in the back by eight bullets is one of many myths about shooting people that come from Hollywood films. According to some websites I've seen, to force someone to fall forward if shot from behind, you have to hit that person in the centre of his/her mass which is 5 cm below the navel holding the weapon below knee level and pointing it slightly upward.

As for the amount of blood at the scene of the murder, gunshot entry wounds apparently don't bleed much - they can even look small and have a sucked-in appearance - whereas exit wounds (if any) could bleed a great deal if blood vessels and other bits and pieces are hanging out or shot out of them. Also bullets that enter the body don't necessarily leave them along the same path that the bullet travelled before entry: they have to travel through body fat (which can distort their movements), they may hit and be deflected by bone, or they may lodge in body fat, bones or internal organs.

One source of information I'm relying on is David W Page's "Body Trauma: a Writer's Guide to Wounds and Injuries" (Writer's Digest Books, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1996).

re 65. They probably have a stock of suitable Muslim IDs ready prepared.

Obviously I'm not German, but I'm beginning to wonder whether there aren't cells of extreme right-wing in the German police. The supposed CCTV video of the "immigrant" kicking the woman downstairs in the U-Bahn was leaked from the police (and turned out in the end to be a Bulgarian). Others of the anti-immigrant reports are the same if I remember correctly

Posted by: Laguerre | Dec 21 2016 11:46 utc | 65

Never Mind @ 65:

I can just picture the scene of German police chasing a Tunisian man who has been to the Middle East to fight with the jihadis in Syria and recently returned to Germany, unaware his passport details were copied and reused while he was fighting in Syria (because he probably had to hand it over to his superiors in ISIS or Jabhat al Nusra or whatever other group he was fighting with). The real perpetrators are probably killing themselves laughing at having put another lot of police on another wild goose chase.

After Aleppo: We Need a New Syria Policy Ron Paul • December 19, 2016

This was no popular uprising to overthrow a dictator and bring in democracy. From the moment President Obama declared “Assad must go” and approved sending in weapons, it was obvious this was a foreign-sponsored regime change operation that used foreign fighters against Syrian government forces.

If the Syrian people really opposed Assad, there is no way he could have survived five years of attack from foreigners and his own people.

As far as I recall from eye witness accounts on the news,
first, the Attache was shot in the back
second, the shooter made his speech and cleared everyone out
third, the shooter shot the attache again several times in the stomach

the photo appears to have been taken between stages two and three. Does this explains the lack of blood or not? I am no expert. But not all the shots had been fired at the time of the photo. That's the point.

Trump vs Obama on Islam

Obama has been naive by favoring political Islam in the Middle East as a way to move toward democracy. He was advised by the US allies, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar that a 'moderate' Sunni Islam will bring peace to the region.

What he missed is that Islam itself is in the middle of a crisis and could not become the backbone of the regions where there many brands of Islam. By pushing one brand over the other, Obama has inflamed the region. He will be remembered as the most naive president about the role of religion in the middle east.
Trump is exactly the opposite. He is well aware that Islam is far from been united and the centuries old internal struggles within Islam can only bring violence, in the middle and in the west, including the USA. Therefore he prefers to avoid Islam altogether and let the Islam protagonists fight against each other in their own countries. This explain his strong rejection of emigrants from Moslem countries as he suspects they will bring their divisions on the US ground, similarly to the Sicilian mafias and that they will resort to uncontrolled violence.
Trump is realistic: The middle east is going through a war of religions, and the USA has no role to play except preventing it to spill on the USA by all means except intervening on the ground. He trusts that he could benefit from Russia in preventing that as Russia has ambitions in the region and is ready to intervene, while the USA is not. Trump is ready to decrease the US influence in the region if this will protect the USA and allow countries in the region to find a modus vivendi on their own. Obama on his last days has realized that and has withdrawn from the Aleppo situation and allowed Russia to take the lead. It is expected that Trump will expand on that by totally stopping the arming of rebels and sanctioning any country that support them, even if these countries are important commercial partners to the USA ( Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar)
A new and promising approach.

First Happy Holidays to everyone; let's hope for Peace.

Trump's Zionist henchman and new Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, wants to make Jerusalem the capital of the Zionist State as Trump promised. This is a recipe for disaster and yet more bloodshed, chaos, terrorism and war, but of course Zionists are okay with all this because it's all moved the West closer to their supremacist, racist, fascist Zionist cause.

The U.N. needs to start acting now on preventing this unilateral crime from happening.

Jerusalem and for that matter Mecca should be declared open cities belonging to no one and everyone and governed by an administrative council consisting of the major religious factions involved reporting only to the U.N. General Assembly. Therefore Jerusalem should be governed by Israelis in 3rd part, and Palestinians and Christians who own holy sites there (Orthodox and Catholic etc.), while Mecca should be governed by a council made up of Shia and Sunni. Both cities should have security forces that are entrusted with and only allied to each city's protection and not individual national interests and who report only to the U.N. General Assembly.

These cities cannot be left in the hands of corrupt, murderous, power-hungry monarchs and Zionists. If they are, perpetual war and destruction are guaranteed.

Also, Israel and Palestine should be declared one state (as in Republic of Israel and Palestine) for all races and religious denominations to be governed democratically where Palestinians have full rights as citizens and right of return is not used as a racist weapon against Palestinians or an entitlement only for Jews.

These are not issues the Security Council should get a vote on; these are issues that should override the authority of the Security Council and should be put to the General Assembly.

Of course Zionists and Wahhabis would start WWIII to prevent all this from happening and the U.S. has no problem at all backing Apartheid, ethnic cleansing and theft through oppression, and enabling Saudi head choppers fueling war and inflicting dispossession and famine on millions.

If Trump were smart he would stop listening to Zionists. Oh wait! His son-in-law's a Zionist and part of his cabinet includes Zionists with Wall Street connections. Guess we're all screwed, again.

Russia, Iran, Syria negotiate with Turkey representing the opposition

Russia and Iran are on the opposite side of the Syrian conflict from Turkey, with Moscow and Tehran backing President Bashar al-Assad and Ankara supporting those seeking to topple him.

But Turkey and Russia have recently started working closely together to evacuate rebel fighters and civilians from war-battered Aleppo under a complex deal. Lavrov praised the Turkey-Iran-Russia format on Syria as the “most effective” and added that the three have “confirmed their readiness to fight the Islamic State group and al-Nusra front and to separate them from the groups of armed opposition.”

Bloodless Assassination? Most 'intelligence' organizations are managed and peopled by incompetent criminals. The human body contains 1.5 gallons (5.5 liters) of liquid blood. The absence of blood in this incident is rather telling. The people behind these incidents of bloodless assassination are too incompetent to manage using blood squibs

I don't know about right wing, but obviously military institutions and the police attract a certain type of person. I am more worried about German interior spies who have funded the right wing scene in order to observe them - which has the smell of Hitler's beginnings.

From what I hear, the German police is furious that the judiciary does not work the way they would like ie people are let go for petty crimes and then courts take their time. So the police meet the same riffraff repeating the same stuff again and again.

The video of the Bulgarian thug would have come out anyway, I guess someone got paid by the media to publish it before the others.

This exposes the depths of depravity these fanatics have fallen into—they sent their own young children to their deaths. Here the parents of two young girls fit them with suicide vests, send them into a police station in Damascus, and then press the button to blow them up remotely. They are 7 and 9 years old. Our concepts of crime and punishment, rehabilitation and reconciliation, and our naive assumption of innocence until proven guilty, don't fit fanatics like this. We have been on the wrong side and will pay dearly for empowering these terrorists.

"A police source told Al-Watan that the little girl had appeared lost and asked to use the bathroom before the explosives went off."

"A last kiss for mama: Jihadi parents bid young daughters goodbye... before one walks into a Damascus police station and is blown up by remote detonator"

Increased security in Poland, Germany, Hungary and now this. The gig is up.

Russia strengthens its security measures

Following the deaths of a Russian ambassador at Ankara and a high diplomat at Moscow, President Vladamir Putin has requested the Russian intelligence services to strengthen its protection of institutions both within the country and abroad. We highlight that some exceptional measures have been taken to protect President Putin’s annual press conference, scheduled for Friday.

Contrary to the Turkish practice, Ankara accepted that the inquiry on the assassination of the Russian Ambassador be conducted by a Russian-Turkish Commission. Russia has immediately dispatched 18 experts.

According to the Turkish press, the assassin, Mevlüt Mert Altintas, had during recent months, been incorporated into the service 8 times to protect President Erdogan.

The Turkish police had proceeded to take in 13 persons close to the assassin for questioning and is questioning them.

According to Mevlüt Cavusoğlu, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the mastermind of the operation would have been Fethullah Gülen (the Islamic preacher and CIA agent, who has been granted refugee status in the United States). However the Kremlin considers that it is still premature to come to that conclusion. Later on, the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility.

No information has been published on the death of the high level Russian diplomat at Moscow. We still do not know if he was assassinated or if he committed suicide.

On 20 December, the meeting of the Russian, Iranian and Turkish foreign ministers took place without any problems at Moscow. [1].

JPEG - 39 kb

The headlines of the front page of New York Daily News reads “Assassins”, the plural being used not with reference to the assassination of the ambassador but Presidents Putin and Assad that the paper charges with the responsibility for the deaths in Syria. In an editorial, Gersh Kuntzman celebrates the assassination of the ambassador who helped “this extremist Assad to kill hundreds of thousands of civilians”. The journalist compares this murder to the murder of the Nazi ambassador at Paris in 1938 [2]. This daily newspaper, with the fourth highest distribution in the United States, is owned by Mortimer Zuckerman, the former president of the Congress of the Chairs of the key American Jewish organizations.

The corpse of Andrei Karlov has been repatriated to Moscow (photo). A state funeral will be organized and [will take place] in the presence of his friend, President Putin.

Also my thought is that had it been staged, most certainly as with other faked videos they would have scattered about plenty of blood to accord with our Hollywood sensibilities.

I admire Donald Trump for his response. This assassination was a sad and senseless act. And I would suggest that Putin probably wanted to join NATO in the hope he could persuade that body to concentrate on eliminating terrorist groups rather than menacing and attacking national governments. Both NATO and the CIA have a lot to answer for.
