Cognos @ 6, regarding the MSM silence about the capture of NATO officers from US, France, Germany, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia and other mid-eastern: I would interpret the silence to mean that continued silence is a bargaining chip held by Syria. Once Syria makes official mention in an unavoidably public venue– say the UN– the chip is spent. I saw no mention of their being intell officers, only officers.

It’s both shame and glory that the ony suspect Naved B. had to be released.
The glory is that if this were the US (or many other countries) they would have kept him locked up knowing he was innocencent untill they would find the real attacker(s), even if it meant cooking up evidence. So at least there is some form of justice in Germany.
The shame of course is that dispite all the monitoring (numberplate scanners, tracking of peoples movements by their celular phone which has a SIM card tied to their ID card, …), the evesdropping, the cameras, the dragnet to take away all privacy and control the populace, it didn’t prevent this attack from occuring nor did it help them to catch the attacker instantly after the act of terrorism.
Because of the racist prejudice where some brown patsy was nabbed from the street, valuable time and resources were lost to track and find the real attacker(s).

I have been trying for some time to get a clue as to the sides forming in the Glass Bead Game we see evolving before us. I have commented before here that Trump is the global plutocrats “don’t throw me in the briar patch” puppet but I am not as sure of that now.
I read somewhere very recently that the combined net worth of the Trump cabinet pics is about 10 billion. That is chump change to the powers that be who in the past month have twice hammered down the price of gold with 10 billion dollar sales events each. And they are whipsawing other commodity prices as well.
So what is all this wag the dog shit about? Is this the new normal of a “sustainable” world economy? Are we approaching a world war?….who against who? I have thought for many years that private finance was going to finally lose control of our society but I feel like the only one beating that drum these days and have only organizations like BRICS and the China AIIB to get any support for that theory.
I guess the bottom line is that we are in a game that us pond scum only get to watch unfold but not understand who the players really are nor what the end goal is….which brings me to end with a quote from the Glass Bead Game by Hesse:

I think that the bible like greek and roman mythology, buddhism, and other great writings provide learnings from those that came before us. Should we use them to run our world? I don’t think so because they are also examples of hubristic “knowledge” of their era….like the earth being the center of the universe….and don’t get me started on patriarchy.
If all those that profess to be faith breathers stood up I suspect they could throw out the money changers of biblical lore but they have had centuries to do so and haven’t….why is that?
I laughably point those more theologically oriented to this link and ask them why it seems there that pi = 3? If and when we answer that question I suspect there will be others just as daunting to those with the hubris to think mankind has all the answers in the myth of old.

It seems the ambassador was shot dead, killed instantly. Not much blood pressure when the heart stops pumping. Blood still seeps out, but it won’t “spurt” as it would with someone still alive.

As far as I recall from eye witness accounts on the news,
first, the Attache was shot in the back
second, the shooter made his speech and cleared everyone out
third, the shooter shot the attache again several times in the stomach
the photo appears to have been taken between stages two and three. Does this explains the lack of blood or not? I am no expert. But not all the shots had been fired at the time of the photo. That’s the point.

It obviously was not a suicide attack and the perpetrator was clever enough to get away. Would you think he was clever enough to leave a fake id in the van.
According to German media the owner of the id was returned to Tunisia. Maybe he sold his German identification there.

A few days ago I followed a link on this site’s comments to a YouTube video titled “Where is Eric Braverman?” It’s a daily series detailing the connections between the Clinton Foundation and the various players involved from Libya to the present. Frankly, no book or movie could provide more intrigue and drama than the actual story. Yet there is absolutely zero investigative work being done to my knowledge by any journalists, much less the government (they are neck deep in complicity). Anyone here following this YouTube series?

I don’t know about right wing, but obviously military institutions and the police attract a certain type of person. I am more worried about German interior spies who have funded the right wing scene in order to observe them – which has the smell of Hitler’s beginnings.
From what I hear, the German police is furious that the judiciary does not work the way they would like ie people are let go for petty crimes and then courts take their time. So the police meet the same riffraff repeating the same stuff again and again.
The video of the Bulgarian thug would have come out anyway, I guess someone got paid by the media to publish it before the others.
But as the woman broke an arm but was not hurt otherwise, he might not spend that much time in prison.

Russia strengthens its security measures

Following the deaths of a Russian ambassador at Ankara and a high diplomat at Moscow, President Vladamir Putin has requested the Russian intelligence services to strengthen its protection of institutions both within the country and abroad. We highlight that some exceptional measures have been taken to protect President Putin’s annual press conference, scheduled for Friday.
Contrary to the Turkish practice, Ankara accepted that the inquiry on the assassination of the Russian Ambassador be conducted by a Russian-Turkish Commission. Russia has immediately dispatched 18 experts.
According to the Turkish press, the assassin, Mevlüt Mert Altintas, had during recent months, been incorporated into the service 8 times to protect President Erdogan.
The Turkish police had proceeded to take in 13 persons close to the assassin for questioning and is questioning them.
According to Mevlüt Cavusoğlu, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the mastermind of the operation would have been Fethullah Gülen (the Islamic preacher and CIA agent, who has been granted refugee status in the United States).
