Mina --

I think they're creepy enough to rate the Residents. Like later Kraftwerk, I found the music and image a little alienating. I can take "TransEurope Express" in small doses. Folks may not know this, but the full version of "Autobahn" includes violin and acoustic guitar as well as their own DIY electronic percussion.

But how could we overlook Gary Numan and Tubeway Army for fine handcrafted electro-machined alienation?

What's the difference between the IDF and IS headchoppers?

Iraqi woman shoots dead ISIS commander who held her captive as sex slave

Some ISIS fighters claim that rape is part of their twisted interpretation of Islam, according to the testimony of children they have abducted and forced into sexual slavery.

A 12-year-old girl who escaped the group told the New York Times that the man who abused her explained to her that the sickening act he was about to commit was not a sin because she was not Muslim.

In fact, he claimed her faith not only gave him the right to rape her – but encouraged it.

After tying her up and gagging her, he knelt beside the bed and prayed. Afterwards, he prayed again.

The girl, who was interviewed in a refugee camp, said: “I kept telling him it hurts – please stop.

“He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God.”

IDF's chief rabbi-to-be permits raping women in wartime

[W]hen asked if soldiers were permitted to rape women during war. [Col. Eyal] Karim [the IDF's chief rabbi] replied that, as part of maintaining fitness for the army and the soldiers' morale during fighting, it is permitted to "breach" the walls of modesty and "satisfy the evil inclination by lying with attractive Gentile women against their will, out of consideration for the difficulties faced by the soldiers and for overall success."

Well, it doesn't seem to be their attitude toward raping gentiles. Or maybe it's that the IDF can only rape 'attractive' gentile women? It's not clear what the Israeli age of non-consent is.
