Question:

How does Syria benefit from the replacement of Daesh terrorists by moderate headchoppers ?

Posted by: redrooster | Aug 25 2016 19:24 utc | 1

@ 1 rr.. i thought paveway described it best (his post below).. this is the little game that has been going on for some time and includes all the designations - moderates, isis, white helmets - you name it... this is the line of bs the usa is hoping dupes believe... ps, i also thought curtis comment from george carlin on the previous thread was great and what has come to typify usa foreign policy - " "Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity."

paveways comment :
"A NATO country has just rolled tanks into Syria and sent in head-chopper ground forces - the same ones Syria, Russia and Iran have been trying to kill for months on end in Aleppo and Idlib. ISIS isn't putting up much resistance in Jarabulus because they're too busy trading their ISIS ID cards/flags for al Nusra or al Zenki ID cards/flags. Head-choppers need paychecks to feed their families, too:

Headchopper #1: "Snackbar - somebody is shooting at us! What flag are we suppose to be flying today, brother?"

Headchopper #2: "Look on your paycheck, brother..."

Headchopper #1: "No good, brother - it's from ISIS. That was last week!"

Headchopper #2: "I'll get on the radio - our leaders should know, God willing..."

(a few minutes later...)

Headchopper #2: "Nobody knows for sure, but put on this white helmet for now, brother. Soros' checks are clearing."

Headchopper #1: "Does that mean I have to shave? Snackbar... can't we just be al Nusra this week?"

Headchopper #2: "No flags yet.. But you have to shave anyway, brother. The CIA won't pay you for FSA Nusra if you look too Wahhabi head-chopperish. Have a Captagon and calm down. Our Turkish brothers will be here soon."

In this episode of Truth in Media, Ben Swann explores the origin of Daesh (ISIS) that has already been long forgotten by American media.
Swann takes on the central issue of whether or not ISIS was created by “inaction” by the United States government or by “direct” action.

Erdogan's bravado in Jarabulus officially to avenge the Gaziantep ISIS attack ( while it is to crush the Kurdish YPG and its Arab allies )will soon get him into trouble.
The ISIS cells and the PKK are working toward more terrorists attacks inside Turkey.
Erdogan's "glory" will be short lived.

Images of uniformed police appearing to require a woman to take off her tunic, and media accounts of similar incidents, have elicited shock and anger online this week." http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/burkini-ban-france-1.3735088 I am sure that if the French politicians cant work it out then a UN security meeting might be in order :>)

"In light of the West’s ongoing and undeclared war on Russia, the following piece of history, as chronicled by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, is as important as it gets. This book — The JEWS in the SOVIET UNION — has been effectively banned throughout much of the world and has been aggressively censored in all the English-speaking and European nations.

"How such an authoritative historical account of the Jewish relationship with the Soviet Union would come to be banned will be quickly understood after reading this post. There is perhaps no more vital and accurate record of the true history of Russia’s relationship with Eurasian Jewry than The Jews in the Soviet Union. “Together with part one, Russian Jewish History: 1795-1916, they comprise Solzhenitsyn’s massive—and suppressed—200 Years Together”.

Armed man arrested after attempting to infiltrate Merkel motorcade in Prague
https://www.rt.com/news/357213-merkel-cortege-attack-arrested/

Czech police had to use the threat of gunfire to halt a man in a black 4x4 Mercedes who was attempting to join German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s motorcade during her visit to the Czech capital.

“The perpetrator has been detained,” police spokesman Josef Bocan said. “He is suspected of attempting to cause a crime – specifically an attempt to use violence against an official.”

Russia's allies (if there are any left) will be particularly interested in Putin's new Bus Brigade. This sparkling brigade is the key to Russia's foreign policy.

Huge blow to the Clinton Campaign.

State Department “intent” to release the withheld emails only after the election met with a federal court order:

State Admits Benghazi Material in New Cache of Emails Clinton Failed to Produce

(Washington DC) – Judicial Watch today announced that a federal court has ordered the State Department to review newly found Clinton emails and turn over responsive records by September 13. And, in two other Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits, the State Department is scheduled to release additional emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s non-state.gov email system beginning September 30. In a court filing this week, the State Department admitted it had found Benghazi-related documents among the 14,900 Clinton emails and attachments uncovered by the FBI that Mrs. Clinton deleted and withheld from the State Department.

Terry & Stillnottheonly1,

"Christian Estrosi, a former mayor of Nice who is now the regional president of the Côte d’Azur, issued a statement on Wednesday in which he called the behavior of the two dozen women fined for their dress this week, “unacceptable provocations” intended to “undermine the city’s police officers.” Estrosi also warned people who share images of the police ticketing women on social networks that they could be prosecuted for endangering the officers."

Ahh,didna think I was still so easily amused.

jo6pac @ 10 Thanks for the pic of habit-clad nuns wetting their feet in the sea. I've often thought about the similarity in their dress and that of many Muslim women. Moreover, about 150 years ago ALL Western women were similarly covered: Little boots covered by long skirts, long sleeves to their dresses-- and bonnets in public. It was only at upperclass soirees that lowcut gowns were seen. Women in public were just about as covered up as most Muslim women today.

Never ever in my wildest nightmares (I had lots of them when I was young) would I have had a more horrific night terror than what is unfolding before our eyes. As I mentioned elsewhere, George Orwell's '1984' are bedtime stories compared to what is happening here.

These are the most perverted people I have ever heard of. Not only are the cops using 'psychological projection' - projecting their inadequacies and fears especially in regards to bathing women that have to leave the water to get fined, but more so are obviously so brainwashed now that they repeat the big lies dished out by the French establishment.

Not to give any idiotic ideas, but imagining what would happen if some of their false flag specialists (nothing is beyond these folks) will take a service dog for the blind and strap an explosive vest around it.

That is the closest insanity I can imagine when I now think about French cops - who have always had this machismo trip going on. I passed the border (before Schengen) many times and they always appeared to be just waiting to shoot somebody. Not even when I visited relatives in Prague at the height of the cold war was passing the border so uneasy.

Furthermore I have long come to the conclusion that almost always the opposite is true from what these people speak about. I will die taking my conviction about 0911 and 1113 having been false flags operations with me.

You mean perhaps this banned, obscure little tome? It only had Robert Service, an influential historian of the Soviet Union (not to my taste, but very well known) review it when it appeared back in the distant past, in 2002. And is said to be consistent with views first expressed in a 1974 essay, "Repentance and Self-Limitation in the Life of Nations". Both would be rather what one would expect from an Orthodox starets.

Read it, and so moved by it, because the same Royals in cahoots with Jewish distillers who kept 100,000,000s of Russian kulaks in a state of drunken starvation all for the RENTS are the same Royals and Jewish bankers who are today keeping BILLIONS of humans in a state of despairing starvation through war crimes, destruction of oil producing nations, through fiat commodities speculation and fiat real estate hyper-valuation.

And, as with '200 Years Together', our modern American version of '200 Years The Sequel' can never address or resolve these depradations, because US and EU are both forbidden by laws, which make it a felony to mention The Chosen.

Like being chained to a chair while Dr Mengele slowly pulls your intestines out, and your vocal chords have been severed in MSM media, so all you can do is silently scream. Trump-Clinton will retrograde US back to the 1950s, on the crazy train to Charon's Gate.

Amid joyous rapturing that a 'Large Earth-like Object' has been deduced from flickering nano-shadows on a distant star a million light years away, comes more hysterical assertions of the imminent demise of the Earth's citizens (e.g. 'climate') and the need to push forward with a $40TRILLION 'Mission Mars' program:

http://www.nature.com/ngeo/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/ngeo2795.html

SUMMARY: "The amount of (CO2/CH4) gases being released from permafrost at the moment is “pretty small.” (e.g. vanishingly small so as to have no quantitative measurements, only a carbon trace to determine which glacial epoch is emerging."

However, it’s thought by Mil.Gov welfare-dole Scientocrats that over the next century, the levels of (CO2/CH4) gas could be from a billion to a gazillion times greater than present measurements, according to Dr. Floyd Hansen, disgraced former NASA PhD in AstroBiology now at the Defense Language Institute, where he studies language patterns of space biota, still as yet to be discovered, hence the need for MM to 'go find some'.

Where is the end of what the poet, Wilfred Owen, called "our sick and sorrowful wrongs"? Even "the pity of war" is unable to bring this exhausted civilization of excess to its senses.

The earth's crust is heaving and hissing like a jilted lover. What did we ever do to bring this on? Who can kick against the power of a little entropy, a dash of hubris, combined with Fukushima, the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse, meltdown of meltdowns, harbinger of harbingers? Finally the death of species is connected to the plunder of the living world.

In the words of Kurt Vonnegut, humanity's epitaph will be, "We really didn't like it here".

I am afraid that the pratfalls will continue until the end. A peace conference will surely be proposed, and will probably be underway, at the very moment when the churls and ratfuckers are bringing their schemes to a head. A clown car full of golpistas, arms merchants, gene splicers, ecocide salesmen, agente provacateurs, diplomats, and spooks, will be tooting one another's horns, and snorting coke, hallucinating and whirling in a dance of destruction.

I keep hoping for aliens to come save us from ourselves but am starting to think perhaps we might not be worth the effort. After we self destruct the aliens will put out a beacon warning passersby of the radioactive nature of what looks like a habitable world.

More on ‘the grown-ups talk.’ I outlined the Kerry-Lavrov meet which is going on as I write.

Putin flew yesterday (25 Aug.) to Paris to talk to Hollande. Then he went back to Moscow to meet Robert Fico, whom he had invited for dinner. Fico is the new Slovakian President of the EU. Idk if they have ever met but they spoke on the phone on 14 june, about football (Slovakia-Russia match) and Ukraine. Fico publically deplores the ‘annexation of Crimea’ but has never hidden his desire for a rapprochement R-EU and an end to sanctions. Today Putin is meeting Merkel before he attends the meeting of the Visegrad Group. - from press, radio.

Fico will offer support for the North Stream gas pipe-line. Hungary, Italy and Greece are strongly backing Fico. It appears that the extension of sanctions was pretty much the work of Merkel, which was already known. (Recall that Hollande was covered to end them thru a vote in the French Parliament, against the extension.) Next deadline for extending them is jan. 2017.

Putin called for unplanned military drills just a day after Turkish invasion of Syria, while Russian PR people call for Turkey to next time inform Assad regime ahead of invasion of Syria.
What's that? A Ionesco theater of absurd.

So was Turkish aggression coordinated with Moscow? From tone of comments on that, it was, but what a hypocrisy of complaining that Assad was not informed, not that he did not agree to it, but just not informed.

And now Merkel is fueling anti-Russian hysteria, she considers return to military draft in Germany, baselessly accused Russians of violation of international law in Donbass and sabotaging Minsk II agreement, north stream 2 is jeopardy after US opposition to it.Escalation of tension accelerates.

One thing is clear Russian diplomacy and military action did not stop the west from marching into the WWIII scenario Putin wants desperately avoid, by entangling himself in a web of western deceit and unfortunately loosing much of credibility.

Really you cannot understand anything by reading this or other blogs, nothing makes sense unless you read:
https://syrianwarupdate.wordpress.com/

where they warned Russians against policy of appeasement or submission Russian policies to mad dogs of Washington neocons, which would inevitably lead to a quagmire in Syria, more bullying and further escalation of tensions.

A Syrian man carries a wounded child following a barrel bomb attack on the Bab al-Nairab neighbourhood of Aleppo on August 25, 2016 (AFP Photo/Ameer Alhalbi)

Eleven children were killed on Thursday in a barrel bomb attack carried out by government forces on a rebel-held neighbourhood of Syria's Aleppo city, a monitor said.

"Fifteen civilians, among them 11 children, were killed in a barrel bomb attack on the Bab al-Nayrab neighbourhood" in the south of Aleppo city, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor said.

The group also reported eight civilians, including two children, were killed on Thursday in rebel fire on the government-held west of the city.

An AFP journalist in Bab al-Nayrab saw rescue workers and civilians digging through the rubble of collapsed buildings.

One man carried out the lifeless body of a baby no bigger than his forearm. Its eyes were closed and its body was white with dust except for speckles and smears of blood.

Nearby, a civil defence worker protected the face of another dead child as his colleagues scraped away the rubble encasing the rest of the child's body....

One would think that there are only children & rescuers in the parts of Syria held by rebel head choppers...

Funnel your money through dark "educational" charities, no one knows who you've bought. When you do give gifts, be vague about the favor, or somehow contrive to make it not an official act.

So all those ads you see by "unaffiliated" friends of Adelson and the Koch Brothers - well, we'll just have to guess who is behind them.

Not like the horribly inefficient means of donating to a public charity. That by all accounts does actual, good charitable work.

A close examination of the AP report reveals precious little actual smoke, let along fire. Matt Yglesias breaks it down at Vox. As we used to ask in the last millennium, "Where's the beef?"

Read the meat of the article, and the most shocking revelation is what’s not in it — a genuinely interesting example of influence peddling.

The State Department is a big operation. So is the Clinton Foundation. The AP put a lot of work into this project. And it couldn’t come up with anything that looks worse than helping a Nobel Prize winner, raising money to finance AIDS education, and doing an introduction for the chair of the Kennedy Center. It’s kind of surprising.

If you prefer video over text, the snarkalicious folks at the The Daily Banter oblige. Tommy Christopher comments on Chris Hayes segment with Michael Cohen (Boston Globe) and noted investigative journalist David Sirota.

So, I'm thinking great, I'm about to hear the very best argument there is for why Hillary Clinton actually was influenced, because even if Sirota isn't always fair to Hillary, he's thorough. If there's something anywhere to remotely suggest anything resembling a quid pro quo, Sirota is about to drop it on me.

Except here's what happens:

"We can't know?" That's the sort of thing that makes for a fun topic of discussion at your Drinking Liberally meeting, not a case for torpedoing a presidential candidacy and dismantling a hugely successful and beneficial charitable foundation.

So even if there is no "there" there, it "raises questions," right, all you Trumpeteers?

Well, I agree, the whole business raises questions. Is this a case like ACORN, when an organization that was an effective advocate for and service provider to the working poor got run out of business by a bunch of deceitful right wing talking points? Or is it the Rethuglicans using their usual tactics of false accusations to attack political opponents, a la the "Swiftboating" of John Kerry?

Hey, I'll bet it's both!

We know about Mrs. Clinton's supposed conflicts thanks to legally mandated public disclosure. Will The Donald oblige with his tax returns? His son's "look at the properties dodge" is pure crap. And how rich is this?

"You would have a bunch of people who know nothing about taxes trying to look through and trying to come up with assumptions they know nothing about.”

I thought that was pretty much SOP for Trump and his supporters. Rummage around complicated issues, and tweet the first thing that comes into your ego. He loves them low-info voters.

F is a laughing stock! Pix, see Penelope 8, and subsequent.

Various protest actions are easy to imagine but will not take place.

So far the only support for burkini-gals has come from a Money Man - Rachid Nekkaz,
who is offering to pay every fine dished out.

The BBC informs us burkini sales are up 200% since the ban, so there is that.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-37171749

F has a long history of forbidding clothing coverage in swimming pools — not *on* beaches or on the grass etc.
20 years ago, a ban of that type swept into the region I was in. This came about because young guys suddenly
went ‘cool’ like jungle adventurers on US TV shows, bathed in long baggy shorts, stinky and soon squelchy Nike
shoes and filthy, ragged T shirts.

My AG, 70 yrs. old, wearing only old-fashioned shorts swim suit, to half thigh, was banned from all
the local ppols. (see ex. link.)

The reason given is ‘hygiene’ ..this all harks back to purist/romanticist/naturalist ideals
about bodies and contact with nature, the purity of water, etc.

http://www.pri.org/stories/2014-09-01/no-speedo-then-dont-try-go-swimming-france-seriously

To point out that such laws (burkini) don’t fall into a cultural vaccum (not an excuse of course.)
Also, the mayors who do these bans may seem like nutters but they must be under incredible pressure.

Laws re. women’s garb, historically => cover up vs. disrobe, and to oblige to wear or display the correct
class-ethnic-religious-professional-other identifiers/markers and not to sport deceitful ones.

Commoners not allowed pearl buttons etc. (Sumptuary laws.)

She may not wear gold jewelry or a garment with a purple border, unless she is a courtesan .. (7th cent. BC., wiki.)

Here, the opposite, forcing women to uncover and to remove ‘signs’ of their ethnic belonging.

This ‘light’ topic nevertheless plays a tremendous role in F politics, thru displacement. Stigmatisation, discrimination of Arabs,
is down-graded and trivilalised to matters of dress and eating-preference. To cover up not only the colonial past and its disastrous history
and consequences, but also to obfuscate present Int’l politics, e.g. that Hollande awarded the Legion of Honor to a Saudi Prince (link),
where of course women can’t even …

http://www.lexpress.fr/actualite/politique/legion-d-honneur-au-prince-d-arabie-saoudite_1770896.html

Ppl are hammered relentlessly with trivia to obfuscate, and the more they get riled up about bits of cloth, refusing to eat pork (that actually is more important) the better.

As to this thread getting "cosmic" - it probably doesn't get cosmic enough.
Go delving into UFOlogy folks.

There is plenty of solid evidence of a massive coverup dating back to the second media report of Roswell.
The first gave the US military admission that a flying disc had crashed.
The second said it was a weather balloon.
Late in his life the officer (Jesse Marcel) who was photographed with the weather balloon admitted an "otherworldly" craft had crashed.
His son J.M.jnr. Testified that his father brought home bits of "memory foam light metal" with "unknown hieroglyphics".
Since then the "Disclosure Project" has had scores of retired military and agency witnesses come forward that UFOs are real.
And that a fierce coverup persists.
Ridicule is the main weapon to make us self-censor.
Wake up folks!

More startlingly amazing information is worth a serious look.
Bad ETs associated with the ruling corporate oligarchy.
Started with Nazis.
Good ETs preventing nuclear war - thus far anyway.
And allegedly backing some of the BRICS and Pentagon "white hats".

Allegedly Space has been weaponised.
The good guys can't just manifest and land
Without being blasted and collateral damage to us.
The bad guys want to maintain secrecy re ETs.
The controlled media will ridicule any govt or senior public figure who tries an official disclosure.

A spiritual aspect to this as well.
To do with quality of consciousness - "service to self" v "service to other".
Meditation/visualisation for peace and victory over evil like ISIS and its backers.
Actually helps. Quantum physics (Simulation Hypothesis) in tune with this.

Russian PM Medvedev admitted secret govt agencies interact with ETs (see YouTube interview).
Sir Paul Hellyer - former Canadian Defense Minister said same. (see YouTube)

Quite possibly you will be waiting for a while for your photo, the reason being the same as why you cannot see a vampire in a mirror; mirrors only reflect what is there, nothing more, nothing less. Same with all those cameras, only what is there, nothing more, nothing less. Somehow I don't think those words will be eaten in my lifetime.

Well, no, the war is not alive again. Zakharchenko: UAF attack thwarted by weather conditions.

I noted earlier the review of experts offered at Fort Russ suggested that the attempted infiltration into the Crimea and other acts were only Kiev's War Bluff. It is not in Kiev's interest to launch a war that it could only lose.

There is further activity suggesting that the Russian Federation will not countenance an attack on the Donbas. Don't mess with Donbass: Massive Russian military drills send warning to Ukraine.

Given the Turkish incursion into Syria -- an open and flagrant violation of international law and technically an act of war -- one would think DC would want all quiet on the Eastern Front. Poroshenko will have to find some way to keep the ultra-right militia muscle occupied short of all-out war.

Well, one would think.... Despite the air of world-weary cynicism, I Still Believe that most people are decent, across the planet.

By Philippe Sotto, Associated Press

PARIS — France’s top administrative court overturned a ban on burkinis in a Mediterranean town, in a decision Friday that should set legal precedent regarding a swimsuit crackdown that has divided the country and provoked shock around the world.

The ruling by the Council of State Friday specifically concerns a ban on the Muslim garment in the Riviera town of Villeneuve-Loubet, but the binding decision is expected to impact all the 30 or so French resort municipalities that have issued similar decrees.

The bans grew increasingly controversial as images circulated online of some Muslim women being ordered to remove body-concealing garments on French Riviera beaches.
Lawyers for a human rights group and a Muslim collective challenged the legality of the ban to the top court, saying the orders infringe basic freedoms and that mayors have overstepped their powers by telling women what to wear on beaches.

Regarding the despicable Hillary-shilling currently being carried out by "rufus maigster" @ commemt #56:

Irespective of what we do not know about the deplorable Hillary Clinton, we DO certainly know that a vote for her is a vote for more wars, more headchoppers carring out more murder , and more profits for the US/Zio Death Machine.

We know this because she, like the obedient Zionist-racist Sheldon Adelson financed puppet she is, is on record as calling for funding of headchopping Islamist groups in Syria and overthrowing Assad.

If she is elected, we’re very likely to see a full-scale US intervention, with US forces openly and aggressively confronting not only Syrian government forces but also facing off with the Russians.

As long as we're debunking the 'All Meme All The Time' MSM, first let's face some facts:

Goldman GLD only holds BUY OPTIONS at Comex, NO PHYSICAL RESERVES. It is pure fiat 'gold'.
Comex is hyper-hypothecated 37x. Only one person in 37 will get the physical they paid for.
'Physical' is the melted down 10k, 12k, and 14k gold the pawn shops have been buying back.
The 'Mint-Issue American Buffaloes' are a PRIVATE BANKSTER MINT, NOT THE US GOVERNMENT.
The E-Bay coin and bullion market is FLOODED WITH HIGH-GRADERS & CHINESE COUNTERFEITS
You can buy tungsten coin blanks in any diameter or thickness over the counter in China.

UNLESS YOU HOLD CA OR AU COINS WITH LASER HOLOGRAMS, YOU GOT RIPPED OFF!
WHEN PEOPLE DISCOVER THIS PM FRAUD, NOBODY WILL TOUCH PMs AT ANY PRICE!
WHEN THAT HAPPENS, IT WILL TRIGGER COLLAPSE OF ESTABLISHED GLOBAL BANKS!

This is important, because (real) gold bullion and oil futures are intimately inter-related.
Chavez asked for Venezuela's gold back, and suddenly Libya falls and its bullion goes missing.
Chavez gets poloniumized and Venezuela gets thrown into engineering collapse over that bullion.
Merkel asked for Germany's gold back, and suddenly Ukraine falls and its bullion goes missing.
Germany reports a significant number of the bullion bars appear to be counterfeits, meant to
replace the WW2 Reichs bullion bars LOOTED BY THE GANGBANKSTERS IN NYC DURING 9/11 HARD COUP.

Nevertheless, Trump will grow the Mil.Gov.Fed alien monster as fast as Bush2 did, especially DHS, which already has in place the legislation to: lease properties for DHS 'no bid' (not competed), build holding cell immigration prisons using IDIQNB contractors, hire vast numbers of private
contractor 'special' agents, prosecutors, judges, prison guards; the whole MIC schmere already planned out, just waiting for Executive signoff.
Trumps immigration scam will cost taxpayers $30B just for the tax refunds that those forced to leave the country will be due. His immigration
scam will award The Wall by IDIQNB contract to Israel, now DHS's largest subcontractor along the southern border, together with $10s of BILLIONs
in surveillance gear and domestic spy and rat operations, also run by Israeli subcontractors. Trump is just a Nemesis. Clinton is Satan Herself.

"Clashes involving Turkish troops and the Kurdish militias could rapidly see the Syrian conflict,
which has already claimed an estimated 400,000 lives, spill over into Turkey, a NATO member home to
substantial deployments of US and other NATO forces and weaponry.

"The very real prospect of a regional war rapidly spiralling out of control and engaging the major powers
is the product of more than a quarter century of war waged by US imperialism and its allies throughout the
Middle East, beginning with the 1991 Gulf War against Iraq. The sectarian divisions flaring up in Syria and
across the region and the destruction of entire societies are rooted in Washington’s reckless drive to secure
its hegemony over the world’s most important oil-producing region at the expense of its geopolitical rivals,
above all Russia and China.

"The US media has responded to the latest escalation of military violence in the Middle East by stepping up
its propaganda campaign in favour of all-out war. Two pieces in the New York Times by two of the paper’s most
notorious warmongers, Roger Cohen and Nicholas Kristof, attempted to provide Washington’s predatory imperialist
interests with a veneer of “humanitarian” propaganda."

I still don't see the possibility of WWIII emerging out of this cuz the global oligarchs are winning.
Even Agenda 21 against people everywhere is progressing quickly. Those whose power in enevitably seated in the

disagreement as we move towards a global currency w possibly digital money for the masses. I suppose the disagreement w/b

I just finished Gerald Horne's The Counter-Revolution of 1776, Slave Resistance and the Origins of the United States of America, Chaper 10 - The Counter-Revolution of 1776 pp. 247-8

“The real flaws of the U.S. founding fathers,” according to David Paul of the United Kingdom, writing recently,

“were inherent in their motivation for the revolt against British rule,”

[ 248 << The Counter-Revolution of 1776 ]

since

“they objected to a government that sought to protect peaceful Indians from the theft of their land and feared a court system that had started to have grave doubts about enforcing slavery,”

that is, Somerset’s case.

“They therefore had to create a devolved structure that would stop central government interfering with local courts’ enforcement of land grabs or enforcement of slavery,”

he asserts. [95]

Whatever the case, it is evident that there is a disjuncture between the supposed progressive and avant-garde import of 1776 and the worsening of conditions for Africans and the indigenous that followed upon the triumph of the rebels. Moreover, despite the alleged revolutionary and progressive impulse of 1776, the victors went on from there to crush indigenous polities, then moved overseas to do something similar in Hawaii, Cuba, and the Philippines, then unleashed its counterrevolutionary force in 20th-century Guatemala, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Angola, South Africa, Iran, Grenada, Nicaragua, and other tortured sites too numerous to mention.

[95] Financial Times, 22 July 2011. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/ad31f308-b3ee-11e0-8339-00144feabdc0.html

.. Horne might well - should well - have added Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Ukraine to his list of counterrevolutions launched by the USA. Hillary is poised to launch more.

His book is very well researched and argued.

The article is positive until you get to the last two sentences.
"
Greece needs to implement some 20 prior actions in September and a further 15 by the end of October, Naftemporiki noted.

Among them in September the government will have to pass its fiscal policy program for 2017-2020 through the parliament and in October to make further progress on the privatization program by transferring more utilities to the new privatization fund.
"

Greece is being forced to sell its utilities to private finance folk to reduce the global commons further because they were fleeced by Goldman Sachs with debt machinations.

All bow to private finance and the folks that own it. They own you now and still are hell bent (or is that Hillary bent) to make all more slaves than before.....it is a social disease that is very species limiting.

Yes, Deutsche Welle has turned the egg over 'easy', but you've said it right. Russia will end up the developer of Syrian gasfields, a la the British/American Big Oils of the old days.

@89 psycho

Yes, I saw that on the way in and it perked me up a bit. May put some common purpose and focus to the Syrian/Kurd/Russian resistance to the Turkish invasion of Syria. We can hope. A decisive defeat is just what the doctor called for in the runaway case of Turkish Erdogania.

Erdogan seems to be currently taking control of ISIS and perhaps al Nusra with Syrian, Iranian and Russian tacit agreement. If this is the case, a peace deal may have been hammered out with Erdogan rather than US backed terrorist organizations. Kurds are in for a hard time, but they were stupid enough to think that the US would back them.
Euphrates Shield. I take it Erdogan plans on converting ISIS which holds most of the Euphrates through Syria to his cause.

There's a similar admission about Yemen in the Guardian.

"Britain is at war with Yemen. So why does nobody know about it?"
