@87, Lysias,
Thanks, I just finished reading a 14 page thorough review. I might order it. Right now I’m reading another great work ‘ The Gulag Archipelago’; amazing to say the least.

@67 noirette, ‘Orlando. Imho the Boston B. was a managed crisis event, read, nothing against Conspiracy theorists.’
A managed crisis event? If you mean it hit the fan – not exactly unanticipated, more like ‘Gee, I didn’t know (forgot) it was loaded’ – and then the b team hit the floor running with the standard non-explanations for unanticipated events ‘of this type’, taking temporary tactical advantage’ of it, updating the script with the latest topical data … yeah, I agree. All of them from the ‘pros’ at Langley, to the politicos in office, to the wannabes in the wings. ‘Making lemonade from the lemons Providence strews in our path’, from their point of view. Gosh, what creeps. And you can’t tell them from the ordinary smiling cutthroats walking down Wall Street or in the halls of Congress, either.

No, no, the NeoLiberal is more nuanced than that. They must keep the illusion alive of a ‘Free’ and open space.
But just in the last 18 months all media comment sections and political blogs, ezines and enews have been subsumed and then gatekeepered and finally firewalled by zFacebook, Zook. This not only made Zuck more powerful than Hitler, but gave Zook the power to control global Think-Speak.
Go ahead, try posting anything you read here on MoA on a Zook-gated comment section. Gone. I’ve had good political or economic discussion threads going, only to have them completely wiped even as I watched, like Nazim wiped the Juden, like the Bolshevikim wiped the Zeks before them.
Think about that kind of power to control Think-Speak, to crush our latent spiritual oower to invoke peace, to smother our innate spiritual power to embrace acceptance, to build a carefully firewalled Tower of Babel, one chosen entirely to promote H8, division, war and mind control.
The Epoch of the Vampire.
I don’t think anyone at MoA has fully grasped just what’s happened, what’s happening, what’s about to happen in the last 15 years since the 2001 Coup. We are all caught up in Trump-Clinton illusion, the outright theft and looting of $19T by The Chosen, the deliberate credit-debt swindle to loot SS/MC, the ‘buyer of last resort for ZBonds’, and the credit-debt enslavement of our children by school loans they can never declare bankrupt.
THEY’RE SLAVES NOW, and the Congress created this Credit-Debt Slave Law, at the same moment The Fed was bailing out the Banksters CDO gambling debts with our Treasury fund!
That leaves the Fifth Quintile as the Final Solution. The elderly 20% of mostly White Americans and Europeans, the last free life savings on Earth, who will be lined up and marched to the crematoriums, not so much literally, but through massive Mil.Gov.Fed.Biz swindles, unmatched in all of human history.
It’s going down right now.
The rest of the world is flat broke, guys. Once The Chosen liquidate the Fifth Quintile, we’ll be retrograde all the way back to the Empire of the Pharoahs, this time spelled with a Z, and then all of USEU will be its Desiderata, the despised and the wretched, for having given in to the Z.
Please wake up. Please hold the line. Please fight the fight. The Last will be First and the First will be Last is not cast in stone. We owe that to our grandchildren.

Houthi forces advance in Taiz amid Saudi airstrikes

The Houthi forces, backed by the Yemeni Republican Guard, advanced inside the Taiz Governorate on Wednesday after repelling a Saudi-led Coalition attack last week.
According to Al-Masirah TV, the Houthi forces and Republican Guard advanced inside the town of Bani ‘Ali in Ta’iz after engaging a large force from the Saudi-led Coalition and their allies.
During their advance in the Ta’iz Governorate, the Houthi forces and Republican Guard came under heavy fire from the Saudi-led Coalition’s air force, as the latter conducted a large number of attacks in order to bail out their ground units.

The camps sucked,no doubt, but I guarantee most of the dead died from typhus, starvation and possible cannibalism by inmates.Never put anything beyond human depravity,no matter the human. And then they burned the corpses in crematoria.
Two wrongs never made a right, and I’m sure our leaders knew very little about the CCs until the Zionists told them,so their carpet bombing of civilians was just as bad if not worse.

Today a British Labour MP, Jo Cox was attacked and killed as she was leaving her constituency surgery (a regularly scheduled consultation with constituents). The assailant was known and has been arrested, motive unknown. See The Guardian for details. Likely is this person paid the price for festering public hate for the political class. It will become increasingly likely the public, given their emotions, will get precisely the kind of politician they despise, no others will subject themselves to that abuse. The world is and will be what you make it – decide wisely.

in re 83 –
Info below is from their respective Wikis.
“Mr. Pound was severely prosecuted because of his anti-Semitic(sic) leanings.”
No, he was punished for his collaboration with the Italian fascists, for whom he made propaganda broadcasts. And he didn’t “lean” that way, he was an open, virulent anti-semite. He was involved with Mosely and British fascists, writing in their paper that Germany was the “natural civilizer of Russia” and arguing the England had been under the control of the Rothschilds since Waterloo. Despite his admiration of Mussolini, the Italians were reluctant to air him, it took two years of hectoring before getting approval.
As to Mullins, he’s just crazy.

In a tract called The Secret Holocaust, Mullins stated that the accepted account of the Holocaust is implausible, calling it a cover story for Jewish-led Soviet massacres of Christians and anti-communists. In particular, Mullins argues that by the mid-1960s, in order to divert the world’s attention away from this putative mass slaughter, “the Jews” had cooked up the story of the Holocaust, using “photographs of the bodies of their German victims, which are exhibited today in gruesome ‘museums’ in Germany as exhibits of dead Jews” as evidence for their claims.

in re 116 –
Striving to be MofA’s own, dedicated Mullins, I see.
Exactly which Jew-hating hack “historian” has “exposed” the death camps? Lord Chuckie’s favorite, David Irving?

Irving’s most famous legal battle came when he sued Penguin Books and American scholar Deborah Lipstadt over Lipstadt’s portrayal of him in her 1994 book Denying the Holocaust: The Growing Assault on Truth and Memory. The judge concluded that Irving “displays a distinctly pro-Nazi and anti-Jewish bias” and went on to call him “an active Holocaust denier” who “deliberately misrepresented and manipulated historical evidence.” Ultimately, the trial had the effect of wiping out Irving’s dwindling finances and battering his credibility.

There’s plenty of documentation by genuine historians and journalists of the details of the “Final Solution to the Jewish Question,” as the Nazis liked to style it. I’ve read a good amount of it.
See this impressive work on the SS, I’ve owned it since the early 80’s. It is a comprehensive history of the organization and its various bureaucracies and their operations. Heinz Hohne, in his The Order of the Death’s Head, recounts the early trials with gassing prisoners in trucks. They proved promising, stationary installations were built. But they decided the fumes took too long, and could not reliably achieve a 100 pct. kill rate. So they got IG Farben involved.
And see this more recent read of mine, Alibi of a Nation. It’s from the early 1950’s, but I only discovered it a few years ago. It’s a strong refutation of the very earliest German apologia – sure it happened, but it was ONLY the SS who did it or knew, and the army NEVER approved.
Do you know why they changed techniques? The original mass shootings, done under the authority of the notorious “Commissar Order,” caused our brave SS Einsatzgruppen too much psychic distress.
The Wiki on the order quotes contemporaneous notes by the army’s Chief of Staff, Halder. During a status report with senior members of the General Staff Hitler said of the upcoming operations, “The intelligentsia established by Stalin must be exterminated. The most brutal violence is to be used in the Great Russian Empire.” The order itself held that “In this battle mercy or considerations of international law is false. They are a danger to our own safety and to the rapid pacification of the conquered territories.”
They actually started by giving more of this work to the local auxiliaries they recruited, such as the Tatars. Do you care to take on a more specific case, as opposed to vague denunciations of unidentified “serial liars”? I think I exposed plenty on their little mini-Buchenwald at Krasnii.
But the Germans had problems with their Eastern auxiliaries generally – they were too brutal (and undisciplined) even for the SS, and so the technical fix. They were recruited often from marginalized locals, who held a beef against their fellows, and so acted out.
Do you know why there was mass starvation, even in the so-called work camps, such as those building the V-2? The rations were consciously below the minimum required. Throw in the squalor, the beatings, the casual executions for minor infractions. But that didn’t kill quickly enough.
So you’re fine with this sort of cruelty, apparently.
The concentration camps and their lethal brutality were known from the start of the regime. No sooner than they came to power the began rounding up trade unionists, communists, social democrats, and conservatives who had opposed them. That they were committing mass executions of Soviet officials and Jews immediately was well known. Early attempts to bring the dedicated death camps in Eastern Europe to the attention of the Allies met with their disbelief.
And if everything was on the up-and-up at Auschwitz, why did the retreating fascists attempt to destroy the site?
Dresden is more of a response to the Nazis terror bombing of civilians than to the camps. You know, the technique they introduced at Guernica, refined in Warsaw, and then perfected over London, Coventry, Rotterdam (they destroyed the city during a ceasefire with the Dutch, to speed along their impending surrender) and other cities. And add little things like strafing refugee columns, unprovoked invasions of neutrals, shooting hostages and prisoners, deportation for forced labor, plunder of art treasures, etc., etc., etc….
So when you commit a broad spectrum of war crimes, payback is a bitch, ain’t it?

in re 59 –
Here we have a conservative meme right up there with the lie that the Nazis were a left movement.
I’ll leave it to the pros to debunk Fischers underyling source, The Pink Swastika, by Lively and Abrams. The text appeared in 1995, though with recent re-issues.
Jon David Wyneken is a professor of history at Grove College, a Christian institution in Western Pennsylvania. A colleague in their Psychology Dept. asked him to look at the issue. The site it appears on is devoted to Christian apologetics. The first part of his review, which discusses the use of the Holocaust by the gay rights movement, opens with this capsule evaluation.

[T]he book had not been well-received by academic historians for a number of reasons…. Lively’s book is simply not good history and is, in fact, not really history at all. Instead, in my view, it is a book that uses history as a weapon in a contemporary political battle, completely outside the historical context of Nazi Germany.

Wyneken quotes extensively from a serious academic refutation, contained in “Whose Memories? Whose Victimhood? Contests for the Holocaust Frame in Recent Social Movement Discourse.” This 1998 Sociological Perspectives (v1, n3 , pp. 519-540) article by Arlene Stein looks at the use of the Holocaust made by both gay activists and anti-gay crusaders.
Stein suggests that gay rights activists have engaged in both revisionism, i.e., re-writing the record to make unfounded claims on the historical record, and “metaphor creation,” i.e. the legitimate use as analogy to compare and contrast past and present.
Stein cites a 1928 statement by the NSDAP on their position on sexual minorities. “Anyone who thinks of homo-sexual love is our enemy. We therefore reject any form of lewdness, especially homosexuality, because it robs us of our last chance to free our people from the bondage which now enslaves it.” The semi-official slogan on women’s issues, I would add, first advanced by conservatives under the late Second Reich was “Children, Kitchen, Church.”
Overall, Wyneken likes Stein’s “strong case against Lively and against all groups… who try to revise the historical record of the Holocaust for their own contemporary political (and hence, in my opinion, ahistorical) ends.” Her criticism are well-founded “and she is very careful and balanced in her conclusions.”
In the second half, Wyneken presents Stein’s view on not only The Pink Swastika but the whole movement by the Christian Right to appropriate the Holocaust. “Christian conservatives have deliberately distorted Holocaust memories to deflect lesbian/gay victim claims, and to make moral claims of their own. In the process, they have degraded the memory of Holocaust victims and alleviated the burden on the perpetrators. ”
She has the following to say about Lively’s work.

[It is] A carefully constructed piece of political rhetoric, mixing serious scholarship with lies and outright distortions… [crafted to] claim that the contemporary gay rights movement, far from sharing a historical lineage with Holocaust ‘victims,’ actually has historical links to the Nazi perpetrators of genocide….
Despite the claim of a direct link between Nazi ideology and homosexuality, historical evidence points to the opposite conclusion: that while the Nazis may have aestheticized homoerotism to a point, they identified homosexuality with the emasculation of men, which they saw as a threat to the traditional patriarchal, procreative family which they idealized.

Wyneken is enthusiastic in his support for this position.

I would go further, though, than Stein does in challenging the validity of Lively’s book as legitimate and responsible history…. Lively does use a number of secondary sources in his research… [but] he does no original research in primary archival documents…. While certainly effective synthesis histories can be written from strictly secondary sources… the most effective and legitimate ones are usually written by scholars who have done extensive primary archival research on those subjects… and have a mastery of the secondary literature as well. In my professional opinion, Lively does not fit either of these categories….
Second, responsible historians tend to cast a skeptical and cautious eye on any historical conclusions that appear reductionist, monocausal, and polemical in their conclusions…. Anachronism is not the historian’s goal or friend. While lessons can and should be drawn from history, these are not nearly as easy to arrive at as many (especially Lively, it seems) think.

Given then the reliance upon dubious historiography, I am unsurprised that much of the information presented is demonstrably untrue. Though Roehm was an early member, he was also an active military officer until after the Beer Hall Putsch and a major figure in Black Reichswehr/Free Corps activity in Bavaria. That is to say, while close politically and personally to Hitler, a bit busy to be a major force amongst the NSDAP. He was out of fascist politics from 1925 to 1931, when Hitler named him the Chief of Staff of the Sturmabteilung, the street thugs who made the fascists a force in Weimar politics.
This formation, active from the first, was organized in 1920 and given this name in 1921. Emil Maurice, one of Hitler’s chauffers, was critical in these activities and was the first commander of the group. He was also the founder of the SA bodyguard detachment that became the SS, the Schutzstaffel
Rossbach was a notorious Freikorps leader and the man who introduced Roehm to homosexuality. He took part in the Kapp Putsch in 1920as well as suppression and was active in the northeast during 1919-20, and spent the years before the Beer Hall Putsch organizing rightists not only in Silesia but nationally. He only joined the Nazis in 1922. Maybe a bit busy to found the SA.
Maybe the confusion arrises from the fact that his Freikorps detachment was Sturmabteilung Rossbach. The orignal “storm detachments” were small, elite front-line units used to punch holes in Allied trench lines.
Several factors entered into the Night of the Long Knives, aka, “the Roehm Putsch.” Roehm’s ideas about a revolutionary army drawn from the SA did not meet the needs of either Hitler or the Wehrmacht. He needed a disciplined field army for conquest, not an unruly lot of street brawlers. They were useful on the way up, but superfluous with control over the police via the SS.
Roehm, as well as the Strasser brothers, were figures in the mass lumpen/petty-bourgeois volkische populist wing of the party. These figures were disturbing to the industrialists who had come to finance Hitler and would build up his military capacities.
And so it was Himmler and the SS that detained and executed Roehm and his lieutenants. They were straight.

@124 Les
I saw the same news at US diplomats urge Obama to strike Assad

On Thursday, the New York Times reported that more than 50 diplomats from the U.S. State Department signed an internal memo urging President Barack Obama to use force against the Syrian government of President Bashar Al-Assad.
According to the memo, these diplomats believe that military strikes against the Syrian government would deter them from violating the countryside ceasefire agreement.
The State Department signatories are calling for a “judicious use of stand-off and air weapons, which would undergird and drive a more focused and hard-nosed U.S.-led diplomatic process.”
This letter from the State Department comes just 48 hours after U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry issued a statement that expressed the U.S.’ discontent with the events taking place inside Syria.
While the U.S. State Department alleges that the Syrian government has violated the nationwide ceasefire on a number of occasions, local monitoring groups have actually reported that most of the breaches coming from the opposition forces.

The US State Department is a degenerate. impotent, wholly owned subsidiary of the War Department, staffed by Hillary’s neo-con Valkyries. Diplomats. There are no diplomats at the US State Department, probably none in the United States.

1. Anti-semitism is what Jews have been doing to Palestinians for 70+ years. If you forget again, I’ll remind you again.
2. The point isn’t about “not buying stuff” it’s about omitting the boycott from the Official Version of the Holocaust Story which invites and encourages Jews to claim that the Holocaust happened because GERMANY disliked Jews for no reason at all.
3. Atzmon explains the shameful, cowardly mendacity much better than I ever could which is why I provided the means to look up his version of Jewish histrionics masquerading as History.

Antisemitism and Holocaust denial undermine legitimate criticism of Zionists/neocons.
The hate is unnecessary and counterproductive. Zionist hardliners prey on Jewish fears that arise from the hate. And the hate turns off non-Jews that might otherwise be receptive to criticism of Zionist hardliners and neocons.
One can argue that it should be termed the ‘Jewish Holocaust’ because the Nazi’s targets other groups as well: gays, gypsies, Slavs, etc. or because it is one of many genocides in human history. But there is no doubt that Jews were targeted and died in great number.

Antisemitism and Holocaust denial undermine legitimate criticism of Zionists/neocons.

Holocaust denial, only real nutters bother with it any more, as it’s well proven. Antisemitism, what’s the difference from Islamophobia? A good many Jews indulge in the latter, in Britain Melanie Phillips, to take a public example. The two, Antisemitism and Islamophobia, are absolutely equivalent, and have to be treated the same.

Someone has a hygiene problem, but ain’t the Hebrews…. Didn’t you forget “Christ-killing usurers”?
Let me remind you, I have already addressed the misuse of the term “antisemitism,” on Open Thread 2015-43 at 126:

Wikipedia on the etymology of the term notes that German racialists began to use it in the 1880’s to describe their views on the Jews. See the founding of the Antisemiten-Liga by German journalist Wilhelm Marr in 1880, who popularized the term . The result was that “Identification with antisemitism and as an antisemite was politically advantageous in Europe in the latter 19th century. For example, Karl Lueger, the popular mayor of fin de siècle Vienna, skillfully exploited antisemitism as a way of channeling public discontent to his political advantage.”
I found this in the references on the Wiki, Aftershock: Anti-zionism and Anti-semitism, by David Matas. “Like the Holocaust that was its result, the very existence of antisemitism has prompted those against Israel to contort and distort its meaning.”

Marr coined the term in 1879; in his later years, he renounced his views.
The insistence upon misusing this term seems a complement to Holocaust denial.
I found and read Atzmon. I’ve seen his work (at Counterpunch, if memory serves). His point that the Israelis have traded upon the Holocaust to elide responsibility for their own numerous, ongoing violations of international law is well-taken. To call it a “religion” and deny the Jews their history is absurd.
This particular piece is ludicrous. It argues that the call by European and American Jews for a boycott of Nazi Germany in March 1933 provoked the Nazis into their anti-semitic measures. No wonder you didn’t provide a link or talk much about it.

Not many people are aware that in March 1933, long before Hitler became the undisputed leader of Germany and began restricting the rights of German Jews, the American Jewish Congress announced a massive protest at Madison Square Gardens and called for an American boycott of German goods….
Jewish texts tend to glaze over the fact that Hitler’s March 28 1933, ordering a boycott against Jewish stores and goods, was an escalation in direct response to the declaration of war on Germany by the worldwide Jewish leadership.

And of course, war requires countermeasures. These escalated through various restrictions and assaults like the Nuremberg Laws and Kristallnacht.
So who opened up the hostilities? The Nazi Voter (somewhere on the shelves here) makes it clear that, while sometimes downplayed in favor of anti-Communism (“Judeo-Bolshevism”) for the benefit of the sensitive middle classes, substantial segments of the NSDAP and its voters supported it because of its open anti-semitism. As Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf, cited in the wiki on the Holocaust:

The nationalization of our masses will succeed only when, aside from all the positive struggle for the soul of our people, their international poisoners are exterminated…. If at the beginning of the War and during the War twelve or fifteen thousand of these Hebrew corrupters of the people had been held under poison gas, as happened to hundreds of thousands of our very best German workers in the field, the sacrifice of millions at the front would not have been in vain.

It also reports that Hitler told a journalist of a scheme to hang Jews in the public square in Munich upon obtaining power. They’d be left there to rot, and he would proceed from city to city, repeating the process.
The Sturmabteilung had spent its street-fighting days assaulting and killing Jews, Communists, Socialists, and other opponents. So the nature of the fascists plans were clear from the start; their actions were consistent with their virulent rhetoric. To question those who fought back is… well, hardly an act of good will from the moral high ground.

Your attempt at equivocation aka Moral Equivalence (Thomas L Friedman’s populist smear directed at moral, decent opponents of the Iraq Fake War (for Israel)), carefully omits 2 key observations in Atzmon’s rant
1. Jewish history always starts with Jewish suffering – not the underlying cause.
2. Jewish history is myths stitched together with lies.

This is an American problem … maybe just this American’s problem … but I post it here in wonder … wondering if any other American who frequents MoA has ever experienced it.
I occasionally write to my Senators and Congressman in the Great State of Texas. Today I got a plea from the EFF to do so in response to the latest outrage on the way down the pike but, having sent off my email to my Congressman, I was greeted by …

I wrote back to Farenthold, ‘my’ Congressman, and asked him to find out what’s up, since I have now no access to either of ‘my’ Senators. I’m not holding my breath until I hear from him.
Anyone else ever encounter this? Unbelievable.

in re 141 —
I did not omit it. I dismissed it. “To… deny the Jews their history is absurd.” And I am not asserting equivalence, I’m saying the Holocaust stands far and above any other act in modern history for its indifference to human life and dignity.

Posted by: rufus magister | Jun 18 2016 23:30 utc | 144

I think the bombing of civilians … in Europe, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria … stands far – literally – above, any other acts of violence in modern history, for its indifference to and uninvolved detachment from human life and dignity, and that that non-involvement and detachment is the most salient aspect of this crime, because it has enabled the now seemingly routine, endless series of detached mass murders by its, so far, unaffected perpetrators. They roll on and on, while the NAZI holocaust has long since ended, been recognized for what it was, and atoned for – insofar as any such monstrous crime can be atoned for.

No, that would be the soon-forgotten holocausts of Pol Pot and especially Sukarno.
The real WW2 holocaust was deliberate US/USSR starvation of Germany’s population after
the war, up until the Spielbergim filed their trade-name monopoly on ‘The Holocaust’,
despite their now 60-year Holocaust in Palestine as the longest holocaust on record.

The mass murder of 12 mil. in the context of a global war of aggression and revenge killing tens of millions seems hard to beat.
The Israelis intent is to obtain the submission of the Palestinians to their illegal settlements, not their extermination.
Keep on dehumanizing them, maybe you can drive them to the sea.

rufus:

The Israelis have done their share of dehumanizing.
But the problem is not with ordinary people. It is with conniving, selfish elites. Oligarchs stoke fear. Fundamentalists thrive on hate.
We live in an age where we have split the atom, send people into space, have a worldwide communications network that connects everyone to everyone, etc. But we haven’t yet thrown off the oligarchs and fundamentalists that divide and rule.
Hate begets hate. And soon thereafter, someone finds a way to prosper from the hate – selling arms, security services, speeches, remembrances, etc.
Martin Luther King said “Peace is not the absence of conflict. It is the presence of justice”. Any group that ‘dehumanizes’ another is an obstacle to peace.
Isn’t ‘dehumanizing’ the first step to holocaust?

The implementation of Minsk-II is an absolute precondition for a just and peaceful resolution in the Donbas.
Two key elements of this plan, in addition to the perpetually wobbly cease-fire, are elections and autonomy. Kiev is not making progress in either area. It is simulating progress, however.
Poroshenko has just made a show of offering autonomy — to regional councils he controls.

In general, what such regional councils are favoring and what Poroshenko has proposed is not decentralization, and especially not federalization. On the contrary, this is an even greater concentration of power over all fundamental questions in the hands of the West with a temporary lulling of the vigilance of the population of the South-East. This is also a step towards fooling foreign partners and imitating a fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements. Poroshenko will just shrug and act like he wonders why the evil separatists of Donbass just do not want to return to Ukraine despite having been granted such freedom.

Poroshenko has, however, moved to grant the Tatars autonomy in Crimea. Which he doesn’t control, but hopes to again someday, with the help of the plucky Tatars. Poroshenko believes them to be a “stronghold of ‘Ukraineanness’ in Crimea” and that it was a mistake that “All the [earlier] presidents and governments were afraid of them” and distrusted them.
Elections fare no better. Poroshenko was just in Paris, and laid out the Banderaists’ demands.

According to the Ukrainian president, the Russian troops should be withdrawn from the territory of Ukraine, the OSCE mission should have access to all areas in Donbas, including those where it is critical to ensure the withdrawal of heavy equipment and weapons. “Only after the pre-conditions are met, we can start the work to organize the elections,” he said.
Poroshenko said that these elections must be fair and transparent, which is impossible under current conditions.

With Kiev banning communists and socialists and promoting militias and oligarchs, the bar for “fair and transparent” looks a little low.
Kiev has been running a screen on constitutional and electoral reform since day one with Minsk-2.

The DPR and the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) say the amendments do not comply with requirements of the February 12 Package of Measures on implementation of the Minsk Agreements, as the document points to the necessity to coordinate with representatives of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions the constitutional reform regarding decentralization.

The fine performance of late has made Washington happy now with the leadership team at the Kiev subsidiary. Or so Groysman says, anyway.

At the 21 June conference in Kyiv, the PM said that the Ukrainian delegation held 30 meetings in the U.S. which were quite successful.
“I want to say the main thing I felt is that (the U.S. officials) are resuming their trust in Ukraine indeed….”

VP Biden is expected to reciprocate Groysman’s Washington visit by dropping by the Ukraine in July.

In court though, the onus should be on the scamsters to prove a connection between their song and Led Zeppelin’s song.

Bizarre victory for Led Zeppelin. The Judge insisted that neither official recorded version of the disputed passage could be played for the jury and a pianist played a strictly sheet-music version of each. The jury scratched its collective head and laughed the claim out of court.
Probably not over yet (several peculiarities in Round 1 + Lawyers + Big Bucks).
