Israel is being nominated to head a UN legal committee that aims to promote international law and protect basic human rights and freedoms. Our govt & media support Israel and this appointment. Our police sometimes go there for special training.

I am stunned that without any logical examination many of you should have no doubt of the veracity of proven liars in the Orlando matter. You even know that the motive is to disarm the American people to make us even more helpless against them.

Aldous Huxley: "all the traditional names, all the hallowed slogans will remain exactly what they were in the good old days. Democracy and freedom will be the theme of every broadcast and editorial. Meanwhile the ruling oligarchy and its highly trained elite of soldiers, policemen, thought-manufacturers and mind-manipulators will quietly run the show as they see fit."

And he was naive-- for they have already begun a genocide by war, by toxic pharmaceuticals, by infertility injections, by over vaccinating children until an immunoexcitatory toxicological effect has created developmental issues in 1/6 of all American children*. And still you believe the corporate media-- six massive companies run by the oligarchs' minions.

*"about one in six. . . children aged 3 through 17 years have one or more developmental disabilities. . . a group of conditions due to an impairment in physical, learning, language, or behavior areas. These conditions begin during the developmental period, may impact day-to-day functioning, and usually last throughout a person’s lifetime." https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/developmentaldisabilities/about.html

There exists volumes of video re the Orlando mass murder club Pulse incident and images of the surrounding area. Nowhere in sight is there even one ambulance? Same goes for Boston Marathon incident and Newtown incident.

This one incident will fully 'illuminate' the true character of Donald Trump. He the silver spoon in mouth money borrowing machine. Quite frankly lumping all Muslims into one guilty group is the same as targeting Blacks, Native Americans, Jews, etc. Group guilt targeting is unacceptable and unamerican.

Just my opinion

Sami A. is a Tunisian national and lives in in Bochum, Germany. He is married with a German national and has three kids.

His expulsion has been ordered in 2006, but Sami A. has successfully appealed the decision, because in his home country, Tunisia, he “is in risk of being tortured”.

As former bodyguard of Osama Bin Laden, Sami A. has to present himself at the local police station daily.

With all of the MSM emphasis on the Pulse Massacre being the "worst shooting in US history," it's gonna' be a real journalistic downer when Mateen loses the record because the evidence shows 10 or 15 of the victims were actually killed by "friendly" SWAT fire. Why don't these people wait until they know what the facts are before they concoct idiot headlines? HuffPo is the absolute worst.

Orlando police chief Mina is already softening the public up for the bad news saying it's likely the cops killed some of those people. So if it turns out Mateen really only killed, say, 40, I guess HuffPo et al. will have to retract all of this crap about the worst shooting in US history. . .yeah, sure they will.

Mina is also reassuring the public that there will be an investigation of why it took the SWAT pussies 3 hrs. to go in. It's reminiscent of Columbine, where none of the cops had the balls to enter the school and engage Harris and Klebold, who therefore had carte blanche to just keep shooting kids.

These macho cops today are so valiant and brave when they dress up in their armor suits and groups of 10 of them bust down doors to serve traffic warrants, shoot people's poodles, throw flash-bang grenades into babies' play pens, and kill innocent people because they (the cops) are too frikin' stupid to get the address right before they open fire.

But when it comes to actually putting themselves in immediate danger to save human lives . . . well, the Fraternal Order of Police frowns on that because the bad guy might "reach for his waistband" or something scary like that might make a cop actually fear for his/her life. And we wouldn't want them to pee their panties, would we?

How many cops were hurt in this Pulse tragedy? I honestly haven't seen a number.

When Mateen was outside shooting it out with the off-duty cop, why didn't the place empty out at that point? Was there only one door? Unlikely.

""Reliable intelligence sources in the West have indicated that warnings had been received that the Russian Government could in the near future release the text of email messages intercepted from U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server from the time she was U.S. Secretary of State. The release would, the messaging indicated, prove that Secretary Clinton had, in fact, laid open U.S. secrets to foreign interception by putting highly-classified Government reports onto a private server in violation of U.S. law, and that, as suspected, the server had been targeted and hacked by foreign intelligence services.

These sources echo similar reports that Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service has numerous Clinton emails, which it obtained by monitoring the hacker Guccifer, who broke into Clinton adviser Sidney Blumenthal’s email account."" http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/06/14/sources-russia-intercepted-hillarys-private-emails/

NATO to deploy troops to Romania as part of eastward expansion

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) says it will send units to Romania as part of plans to expand its presence in Eastern Europe, a source of controversy with Russia.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced the decision on the sidelines of a two-day meeting of the Western military alliance’s defense ministers in the Belgian capital, Brussels, on Tuesday.

Stoltenberg told reporters that NATO would take up an offer by Romania to deploy forces in the eastern European country, without elaborating on the number of troops.

Stoltenberg further emphasized that the alliance will formally approve the deployment of four "robust" multinational battalions in Poland as well as the Baltic states of Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia.

"We convey a very strong message about that we don't seek confrontation with Russia. We don't want a new cold war and we will continue to strive for a more constructive and cooperative relationship with Russia,” he said.

Says the US' chief military stooge in Europe as he prepares WW III there.

War is Peace.

I guess they have the war gamed, and haved 'proved' to their own satisfaction that they can back Russia down?

Ignorance is Strength.

Or is Stoltenberg 'just following orders'? Assuming that his founding fathers in the US know best?

Freedom is Slavery.

His fathers in the US have a time horizon that oscillates from 'next week' to 'after the holocaust of Europe'.

With the national strike today in France meant to block the neoliberal El Khomri law from taking effect (it's currently being debated in the French Senate), I think it's worthwhile to read a lengthy interview with Stathis Kouvelakis that appeared last month on the web site for Jacobin magazine.

In the West mainstream parties are rapidly hollowing out and subsequently the corporate media is stepping up and playing a more explicitly organizational role.

To Penelope@3: Good post and tracks quite well with Paul Craig Roberts' writings for the past few days.

You did miss one point however. In addition to promoting the anti-gun political lobby, the "event" in Orlando also furthers the gay and lesbian political lobby. I say this not to derogate anyone's sexual preferences but there is a gay and lesbian political agenda. The Orlando "event" does further it as well as the anti-gun agenda. It's a twofer!

Today the Sun newspaper, with 1.7 million readers, posted the headline "beLEAVE in Britain" with a half page article putting the arguments for a Brexit. This is a massive blow to the Libya bomber Cameron, the spineless Labour opposition and the Remain campaign. While the Sun is a nasty Murdoch rag it does have a history of correct calls on British elections going back to 1979, its influence considered by some to be so significant that Mossad man Tony Blair flew half way around the world to kneel at Rupert's feet before the 1997 election.

If we simplistically consider the establishment in Britain to be the City of London, the major parliamentarians, the media, and leaders of major companies, all (except some of the press) have previously been vociferous in their support for remaining in the EU. Now, however, some leading hedge fund managers are backing Brexit, while 36 CEOs from the FTSE 100 registered their support for Brexit in a letter to the Daily Telegraph. The press is also divided, with the increasingly obnoxious Guardian at the forefront of the Remain campaign. The Guardian has been by far the most Russophobic of all the national newspapers, as has the BBC in TV.

Any rift in the elites is to be thoroughly welcomed. Any vote that goes against what Washington and the current German regime desperately want is also good news. Strange days indeed.

This might tell you a little about the motivation for killing our rights. Truly shocking.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32QmyfMhxOg Video of the opening Ceremony for the Swiss Tunnel through the Alps. The audience: heads of EU "countries", and other oligarchs gave the spectacle a standing ovation. It portrays the masses as zombies, not-very-happy-nymphomaniacs, crawling hairy ghouls, and as souls in torment. The devil is present as a goat-head; also a baby, winged Lucifer.

This was a public, televised ceremony-- right in our faces.

When a few outraged Swiss wanted to know the meaning of the Satanic goatshead they were told it was because sometimes there are goats in the Alps.

I do believe there is a myth about opening a mountain in which the devil is imprisoned, to let him out, and this, too, is presented in this occult ceremony.

Actually, this rumor has been kicking around for something like six weeks. See this May 6 posting by Sorcha Faal that a Kremlin War Erupts Over Release Of Top Secret Hillary Clinton Emails, suggesting such a release was imminent.

For those of you unfamiliar with our Celtic priestess with connections to the Russian siloviki, there's a handy entry at Rationalwiki. She and her "WhatDoesItMean" website are “of such quality that even other conspiracy nutters don't think much of it.... The primary audience of Sorcha Faal's reports and the only ones who take them seriously are usually other conspiracy theorists.” FWIW, it reports that the Russians consider part of the US disinformation apparatus.

BlacklistedNews.com debunks it all. It spread from Fox to Forbes in early May.

The underlying source for Breitbart is this posting at OilPrice.com. The author is given as Defence & Foreign Affairs, a publication of the shadowy International Strategic Studies Association. It's Wiki is a stub, but it notes that the organization has given awards to Caspar Weinberger and a Taiwanese admiral.

The ISSA site describes it as an NGO of "professionals involved in national management, particularly in national and international security and strategic policy." The publishing arm is active in "providing strategic information and analysis to governments worldwide." If you rummage around a bit, you'll find the background on co-founder and present chief officer, Gregory R. Copley, an Australian entrepreneur long active in national security circles.

So they've given the whole business a nice professional sheen.

Reliable intelligence sources in the West have indicated that warnings had been received that the Russian Government could in the near future release the text of email messages intercepted from U.S.

I'll leave aside why the hell would the Kremlin be nice and spoil the surprise with the heads up? And even if such a scheme might work; that the Russians would be seen to actually want The Donald might not play well with nationalists; well, at least outside of Rethuglican ranks.

But I am going to go out on a limb and say, like earlier promises of indictments or other revelations from the Benghazi-derived e-mail imbroglio, this will come to naught. But you see, the idea will have been planted in the lizard-brain of your "Donald Trump (TM) Grand Republican Tea Party of Lincoln" voter, and that's the important thing. It either motivates them and he wins, or delegitimizes Clinton if he loses.

Kremlin Silent On Brexit

For Russia, Brexit would be an opportunity not a tragedy | The Guardian |

Western diplomats say the issue of Brexit appears to be at best peripheral in Russian official thinking for now, but one place where the issue of the Kremlin’s response to a potential parting of the ways between London and Brussels is very much on people’s minds is Kiev.

“Russia is enjoying the disintegration of Europe; the refugee crisis is in Russia’s interests and Russia is inflaming it,” said Alex Ryabchyn, a Ukrainian MP. He said the British voice inside the EU was vital for keeping pressure on smaller countries to put up a united front against Moscow.

“In France or Germany there are strong pro-Russian camps, and Britain doesn’t have that; Britain has always been a strong voice inside Europe advocating for Ukraine.

Am I the only music lover who thinks Led Zeppelin should tell the scammers trying to screw them for $20 Million (because the intro to Stairway To Heaven has a vague resemblance to a musical phrase written by someone 3 years before Stairway To Heaven hit the charts) should grow a brain, have their ears thoroughly checked, and get a life?

Posted by: Hoarsewhisperer | Jun 15 2016 5:29 utc | 37

Not only do the two passages in question have non-identical tone sequences, it's impossible to imagine that any person has ever confused one with the other.

Posted by: Hoarsewhisperer | Jun 15 2016 5:37 utc | 38

Hoarsewhisperer @ 37, 38:

Problem is that Led Zeppelin were notorious in the early part of their career for nicking or reworking parts of, or even the whole, of other people's songs and not always acknowledging the original songwriters in the credits on their albums.

Joey de Groot: 7 Songs That Led Zeppelin Ripped Off

So, er, Page and Company have made themselves vulnerable to scamsters looking to rip them off.

In court though, the onus should be on the scamsters to prove a connection between their song and Led Zeppelin's song.

jo6pac @ 6, Thanks http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2016/06/58403.html was great. $25,000 reward for proof of "false flag".

One of the comments linked this http://themillenniumreport.com/2016/06/orlando-massacre-the-back-story-to-this-black-operation/ terrrific report. Even realized what I posted yesterday about Hoaxes being LEGAL per the 2012 NDAA amendment permitting propagandizing the America people.

But, jo6pac, this is making me a little nervous. I'm afraid there's a rat here somewhere. It's too easy. This one and San Bernardino were so terribly, terribly obvious. I've been concerned for awhile that they might try to "color revolution" us. When there's a color revolution the party that's best organized (them) is the party who ends up in power. It would be so perilously easy to think it's "our" revolution, like those poor people on the Maidan.

Never mind me-- it's more likely the UN equipment that was left here during Jade Helmet is meant to be used to disarm Americans. UN can come in upon the invitation of US govt. Sounds overly dramatic like it couldn't happen, doesn't it? They may try to incite some armed action or riots or chaos to enable it-- even make people welcome reinstatement of order. Isn't that what they were practicing for after cops executed some blacks some months back? That was choreographed; I'm positive, and easy to turn on again.

Posted by: Penelope | Jun 15 2016 6:31 utc | 40

Macon Richardson @ 24, You're right LGBTs are very well organized politically.

There's a major motive to San Bernardino which i think also applies to Orlando. I wrote the below yesterday but didn't post it because everyone here was still assuming the event was real. Would be interested to know what you think of this after you have time to look at the LiftTheVeil link, etc.

ORLANDO INFRASTRUCTURE DRILL
A Purpose of San Bernardino was to cover an Infragard Drill to Rehearse Protecting the Oligarchs' Assets & Infrastructure during the Expected Civil Unrest or other Event. Admirably detailed here how the chase went right by the Assets. http://lifttheveil411.com/san-bernardino-hoax-location-motive-episode-4/ There are 13 other brief San Bernardino episodes on the site.

I imagine Orlando's the same. Let's see. . . here we go:
"Law enforcement officials on Sunday were also searching two addresses associated with the suspected shooter: an apartment complex in Fort Pierce, about a 120-mile drive from Orlando, and a house in Port St. Lucie"

Ah, I see. It IS like San Bernardino & they are conducting a security drill for the protection of the Okeechobee Waterway and associated infrastructure, big warehouses, etc., etc. See the San Bernardino link. They must have evacuated people, done a lockdown or something they couldn't do w/o the shooting hoax in Orlando. They "waited about 4 hours for arrial of the search warrant: before doing Port Lucie home. Yeah, sure. What sort of drill were they really running while some officers waited outside the home? Same thing they were doing for the 3-4 hours between the "shooting" and the "chase"?Did they lockdown the area, evacuate people, what?

Port Lucie is close to Lake Okeechobee & connects to the Okeechobee Waterway, which is a man-made waterway stretching across Florida from Fort Myers on the west coast to Stuart on the east coast of Florida. It runs through Lake Okeechobee and consists of the Caloosahatchee River to the west of the lake and the St. Lucie Canal east of the lake. Completed in 1937, provides water route across FL, allowing boats to pass east–west across the state rather than traveling the long route around the southern end of the state. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages 5 locks and dams along the Okeechobee Waterway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okeechobee_Waterway http://24timezones.com/mapa/usa/fl_st__lucie/fort_pierce.htm interactive map

Tampa Bay Port is Florida's largest container port & of course associated with the warehouses which now house much of what used to be in stores. Just like in San Bernardino they are rehearsing how to keep infrastructure of highway and rail secure in the face of uprising or attack. Also the oligarchs' assets. Look how Tampa Bay Port describes itself:

Florida is 3d most populous state w 20 mil+. The Tampa Bay/Orlando I-4 corridor has the 10th largest economy in the U.S. with a GDP of more than $300 billion. Major industry clusters include food and beverage, citrus and juice products, furniture, general department store merchandise, steel, fertilizer, animal feed and agricultural products. Florida is the leading state for merchandise exports to Latin America and the Caribbean, responsible for 36% of all U.S. exports to the region. Asia is the top source of Florida's merchandise imports.

Downtown Tampa had an active shooter drill in February and Tampa Bay Port had something far more extensive w a conference attached. Haven't been able to find out much Yet.

Just like San Bernardino a major hub of the oligarchs' import/export. Venezuela is starving because they reduced growing their own food in order to grow soy, etc for export credits. Which means they were dependent on importing food, but their oligarchs had control of their warehouses. They hoarded for highest price and to destabilize the govt.
Been lots of rumors that in case of US resistance to govt's plans food control will be practiced. Gardening is a nice hobby. Chickens and/or caged rabbits are easy. But really nothing will suffice except to remove the oligarchs from power.

Oui @33and 34

The remain campaign has been using the Russians in their propaganda to defeat the Brexit move. Of course there are many Russians that would love to see the whole EU fall apart tomorrow but I think more sensible analysts have argued that the Russian foreign ministry likely would not to see that outcome. It would spread chaos throughout Europe and make it that much more difficult for Russia to conduct diplomacy. But for sure, right now, no really knows what the Kremlin thinks about this in that they have remained completely opaque on this issue.

In addition, Russia has followed a policy of non-intervention in internal political disputes in other foreign nations (Syria's war a long time ago stopped being just an internal matter).

It is indeed quite surprising how many foreigners work for Poroshenko, is Ukraine so starved of the local talent? Recently the architect of Polish "shock therapy" from early 1990s, Leszek Balcerowicz, became an economic advisor. Some grumpy compatriots remarked that at last, this will make an effective revenge for Volhynian Massacre.

Another interesting theme is the threat of Russian influence in Europe and all arguments that something would make Putin happy. Like "sure, hard to see any benefits of UK being in EU, but leaving EU would make Putin happy". Sure it will, while pecorino romano, parmigiano, brie etc. would be covered with embargo, Russians can console themselves with emmentaler, but after Brexit, also cheshire.

Russia very actively split the EU by giving different gas contracts to different countries for different political favours. Germany put economic interest above Eastern European interest - cutting them out of the deal - when building North Stream.

Britain's exit would make Germany's position stronger, I don't think Russia has the problem that other European countries have with that.

At present Gazprom mulls a second North Stream pipeline, South Stream and Turkish Stream. The EU's official position is against any new Gazprom pipeline making Ukraine irrelevant. Germany seems to insist on North Stream II. Something has got to give.

And yes, Gazprom is big in Britain, too. There is a pipeline between Belgium and Britain that can be used both ways.

Brexit Fear Mongering – Few Pinches of Salt

Cameron brought it upon himself ... emulating the Iron Lady to clinch a royal place in British history. I do hope Cameron and the Tory party will be out as the Brits vote to Leave the European Union. I do see a lot of upsides as the British have been too agressive in the Middle East region and undermining the Russian government. Where did all the stolen billions from the Russian people go and which nation offered shelter to the oligarchs?

NATO had become a tool of right-wing forces of Uncle Sam and the Union Jack. See all speeches and papers from the Atlantic Council since the 1990s. It's urgently needed to put a break on EU expansion eastwards towards Russia. A Brexit will be useful to once again separate the British Isles from the continent.

Posted by: Oui | Jun 15 2016 11:20 utc | 47

I don't believe the scare mongering from all establishment institutions that brought the financial and banking crisis on the common man. EU HQ in Brussels, IMF and OSCE are by definition biased on the Brexit vote. The global stock exchanges and the British pound are under pressure as the polls indicate an edge towards the Leave vote. Oddly enough, Ladbroke still offer the advantage backing Remain with Cameron, his Tory party split in half and Corbyn with Labor.

Western States Amass Forces in Syria

Ground forces from Western states are rehearsing in Syria amassing a large-scale force for a future crisis. At least 3 Western countries – the United States, the United Kingdom and Frace – have deployed special operatinos forces to Syria, officially:

- The US deployed special operation forces in order to support the advance of the premodninantly Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Northern Syria. In 2015 there were reports that US servicemen were building an air base in the Syrian Kurdish region of Hasakah. The US dened claims. However, now, it’s clear that the air base operates, providing arms and supplies to the units clashing against ISIS near Manbij.
- France’s Defense Ministry admited the presence of its special forces on the ground in Syria on June 9. According to report, French troops assist US troops and SDF units in operations near Manbij. The same force will likely participate in a long-expected advance on Raqqa, if it’s started, at least. Now, France is building a military base near the city of Kobane in Syria’s Aleppo province. The infromation is confirmed by a wide range of Kurdish sources.
- UK special forces operating on the front line alongside rebels in Syria near the Jordanian border. They participate in direct clashes, provide training and manage of the opposition group, called “New Syrian Army.”

Germany Deploys Special Forces in Northern Syria – Reports

Germany has reportedly deplyoed operation forces in Northern Syria in order to assist the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces that has laid a siege on the strategic ISIS-controlled city of Manbij. According to different sources, German military units have arrived the Kurdish-controlled city of Kobani in the Aleppo province.

German Forces Have Invaded Syria, Say Govt

The Syrian government said on Wednesday that German special forces were present, alongside French and American military personnel, in northern Syria, an accusation denied by Germany.

Syrian state media said the government strongly condemned the presence of French and German forces in Ain al-Arab, also known as Kobani, and Manbij.

"Syria ... considers it explicit and unjustified aggression towards (Syria's) sovereignty and independence," state news agency SANA quoted the foreign ministry as saying.

British troops enter Syria and Libya to ensure that war outlives ISIS

Over the past three weeks, it has emerged that British special forces are now in direct combat roles in Libya and Syria. Ostensibly there to fight ISIS, the real goal is to prevent the Syrian and Libyan armies defeating ISIS by themselves.

From 2014 until September 2015, ISIS appeared to sweep all before them, achieving hugely symbolic victories in Iraq’s Mosul and Fallujah, Syria’s Raqqa and Palmyra, and Libya’s Derna and Sirte. At the same time, under Saudi and Turkish tutelage, Al-Qaeda’s ‘Al-Nusra Front’ was making gains in Syria, and the Ansar Sharia faction in Libya took Benghazi, paving the way for a major ISIS infiltration.

The West did little to help. In Syria, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) had been left to fight such groups not only bereft of support from the West, but facing a West apparently determined to destroy them. Similarly, the Libyan National Army – representing the elected Libyan parliament – was hamstrung by an arms embargo scrupulously observed in relation to them, but regularly violated by the West’s gulf allies when it came to the ‘Libya Dawn’ sectarian militias they were fighting. And even the supposedly closest US allies in the Iraqi army, the elite ‘Golden Division’, had trouble getting effective US support when they needed it.

Throughout 2016, then, the national armed forces of Libya and Syria, representing the elected governments of both countries, have been on a roll; and the days of ISIS and their sectarian bedfellows may well be numbered. So it is interesting that it is precisely at this moment – not when ISIS were making gains, but now that they are facing defeat – that British troops have deigned to openly enter the fray.

Good to see the parallels with WWII and the endlessly postponed 2nd front drawn out.

Q: Who are the Americans, Brits, French, and Germans invading Syria to defend?

A: ISIS and al-CIAduh,

Q: Who are the Americans, Brits, French, and Germans invading Syria to destroy?

A: The Syrian Government.

Everything that was 'covert' is now overt. And no one cares enough even to notice.

From PCR on the Orlando "shooting" " Paul Craig Roberts

Some readers have asked for my take on the Orlando Shooting.

I don’t have one. Let’s see if together we can form a reasonable view.

Let’s start with the basic first question. Before there can be a murder declared, there must be a body. Has anyone seen on TV or in newspapers pictures of dead bodies? Bodies should be readily available if the reports are correct that fifty people were killed and 50 or more were wounded and in hospital.

I cannot bear the presstitute TV and print media. These are full-time propaganda organizations. Hopefully, some of you hold your nose and watch the news and can fill in the spaces. Has anything we have been told been confirmed by any real evidence?

Initially, I saw a CNN newscast and a RT report. The reports were heavy with verbiage of blood being all over the place, but the only visual evidence offered were three people, supposedly injured, being helped, not by medics or first responders, but by ordinary folks. A couple of people were helping a guy with tattoos in place of a shirt, but there was no sign of blood. Several people were helping people in police uniforms to carry a person who they dumped in the back of a pickup truck, not in the cab. About 6 people were carrying a person stretched out prone (no stretcher) down a street.

There was no blood and it looked like a crisis acting performance. Why prone? Is an injured person really able to keep his body stiff so that he can be carried along prone parallel to the ground? Where are they taking him? Is this just a camera walk-by?" http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2016/06/13/orlando-shooting-paul-craig-roberts/

The MSM is still t it,obscuring that this is plain old blowback, and gays are seen by the religious Muslims(and others)as self absorbent blasphemers,so they being a target, despite the shooters alleged gay leanings,is quite logical.
Blowback doesn't fit the serial liar narrative.

“not-very-happy-nymphomaniacs” – now there’s an interesting contradiction in terms.

I like the part where they’re all in just their underwear – obviously a sly product-placement ploy by Fruit Of The Loom.

Also, I have not seen such a homogenous crowd of crackers anywhere this side of Hobart, Tasmania, where the white Ozzies have actually erected a historical sign commemorating the killing of the last Aborigine.

I’m just grateful that there are folks like you and the RT commentators to put this Fruit Of The Loom goat-orgy into political context, otherwise I might have watched the vid, thrown up, and finished the day without giving it another thought.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages 5 locks and dams along the Okeechobee Waterway. . . Tampa Bay Port is Florida's largest container port . . . Florida is 3d most populous state w 20 mil+ . . . Gardening is a nice hobby. Chickens and/or caged rabbits are easy. (links omitted)

Thank you. Finally, someone’s got their freakin’ facts right on the Pulse cluster fuck. Now I understand it completely. The chickens and rabbits observation was particularly helpful and relevant.

Did you know ...

"In fact, the Nazi Party began in a gay bar in Munich, and Ernst Roehm, Hitler's right hand in the early days of Nazism, was well-known for his taste in young boys. William Shirer says in his definitive "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich," not only that Roehm was "important in the rise of Hitler," but also "like so many of the early Nazis, (he was) a homosexual."

source - http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/fischer/080515

Hitler eventually had Roehm shot, not because he was a homosexual but because his influence over the Brown Shirts made him a political threat to Hitler's control. The Roehm Purge, or "Night of the Long Knives," was largely implemented by homosexuals.

Hitler's Brown Shirts, the dreaded SA, better known as "Storm Troopers," were the creation of another homosexual, Gerhard Rossbach, and Storm Troopers were almost exclusively homosexual. They also, sadly, comprised most of the leadership of the Hitler Youth, resulting in frequent instances of sexual molestation."

@48, Dan,

The Gay/Bi/T community are actively supported by Israel. That's right, the U.S. tax payer worth billions that Israel receives from the U.S. funds this movement. Also Jewish American - Israeli dual citizens(wealthy ones) fund them and also said finances also actively support the no more guns lobby.

I wonder what would happen if the Evangelical Bible Belters find out about this sort of funding? But then again, Folks like Televangelist John Hagee say that the 'Chosen People-ie, Jews) are saved whether they believe and saved by Jesus or not, simply because they are Decendants of Abraham!? Little does John know that then Arabs are thus exempt too since they are descendants of Abe to through Ismael. The ridiculousness has no end.

Escalation : Putin has issued orders for 'across the board' snap drills of the Russian military to test for combat readiness and actual deployment scenarios; due to a second U.S Aircraft Carrier group entering the Mediterranean.

What the U.S /Nato/Israel fail to appreciate is that Putin and Russia are very serious and have thrown down the Gauntlet as far as Syria and their interests in the Middle East.

Orlando. Imho the Boston B. was a managed crisis event, read, nothing against Conspiracy theorists.

For the C-theorists, see (text only) not that it proves anything, a curiosity.

https://orlando.craigslist.org/sec/5625699641.html

Minor random attacks on civilians (see for ex. drone assassinations, bombing wedding convoys in Afghanistan, on and on..) have become accepted as part of life by US citizens (+ in France) after getting over the nasty shock of experiencing them at home.

Naturally, some motive from somewhere has to be drummed up. Fighting terrorism and Taliban in Afgh., Islamic radicalism in US/EU, etc.

The ‘terror’ events are criss-crossed with differing plots and motives (which may include a crazed lone shooter, with “hate in heart” etc.) in functions of several aims. Control, money grubbing (for security, surveillance, arms, etc. police, scammers and the 20% who wants to rise, supine facing their masters..), MSM (drama, ratings, stranglehold on info, paid in mega-bucks), political recuperations, and by now, cashing in millions.

Orlando: Islam, gays, and guns - what better to inflame everyone? As we have seen even here?

Btw, for those who missed the plot, identity politics also serve to divide and rule. Gays (etc.), colored ppl, other disadvantaged (ethnically, religiously, body, status, whatever) fight between themselves to attain ‘top victim status’ - they all (including women, see KiIllary), hope to climb onto the star podium as equivalent to the most ‘favored’ victims (Jews..what a success..) Meanwhile the PTB is laughing at those who find satisfaction and pride in …being victims! It is a big joke to them. They love it.

Oui @ 33, Toivos @ 41, While the Guardian, etc is trying to spin it that Putin is for Brexit, he earlier commented he was against it (Can't find clip, sorry), just as he was against Grexit. He wants to JOIN EU, not disolve it:

Putin editorial - 11/25/10 http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/from-lisbon-to-vladivostok-putin-envisions-a-russia-eu-free-trade-zone-a-731109.html
No more tariffs. No more visas. Vastly more economic cooperation between Russia and the European Union. That's the vision presented by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in an editorial contribution to the German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung on Thursday.

"We propose the creation of a harmonious economic community stretching from Lisbon to Vladivostok," Putin writes. "In the future, we could even consider a free trade zone or even more advanced forms of economic integration. The result would be a unified continental market with a capacity worth trillions of euros."
-
Putin at Valdai:

"I am certain that if there is a will, we can restore the effectiveness of the international and regional institutions system. We do not even need to build anything anew, from the scratch; this is not a “greenfield,” especially since the institutions created after World War II are quite universal and can be given modern substance, adequate to manage the current situation.

"we need a new global consensus of responsible forces. It’s not about some local deals or a division of spheres of influence in the spirit of classic diplomacy, or somebody’s complete global domination. I think that we need a new version of interdependence. We should not be afraid of it. On the contrary, this is a good instrument for harmonising positions"

He is always right on the Rule of Law, but nothing in his vision suggests redressing power towards democracy or self-governance. Says he's for national sovereignty but never speaks of the desirability for nations to regain trade sovereignty, let alone economic or currency sovereignty. He LIKES the Bretton Woods institutions which hold much of the world in debt slavery. He's reversed his earlier criticism as AGW as a "hoax", and now champions it altho it's plainly another way to centralize power in the hands of the oligarchs, masked by the UN.

I'd like to believe that Putin is for freedom, democracy, Grexit & Brexit, but I don't even see WORDS to support these, so I'm still on wait & see.

Part of the way incitation of so-called 'lone wolves' works out is precisely by the details and new ideas given by the MSM on what to do next. The French radio speaks of the books that were in the French guy's car with providing titles, explaining it is the al Qaeda book on how to make explosives, or mention further risks (demos, football, special event) as if they were just cooking the next recipes. Yes, I have watched the extraordinary documentary 'Hellstorm' about Allied 'area bombing raids' on German civilian cities. By war criminals Churchill and Arthur Harris. The very definition of Terrorism is what they did in Munich and Dresden etc. If one looks up the dictionary definition of 'Holocaust' one will see that it means 'Burnt Offering'. That's what that was, a true Holocaust. Firebombing Tokyo was too. So you see that Allied Commad and Bomber Command had somekind of evil satanic leanings.

Eustice Mullins I am very familiar with, a literary giant if you ask me. He was a student of the great Izra Pound, who was the teacher and literary guide to three Noble prize winners in Literature. Ernest Hemmingway one, and the guy who wrote Ulysses(James Joyce)another. Mr. Pound was severely prosecuted because of his anti-Semitic(sic) leanings.

Eustice Mullins and Izra Pound, may they rest in peace.

I'm going to go on a little rant here.

Given that Israel and the U.S establishment want to use India as a bulwark (pivot)against Pakistan and China; what has India to offer besides cheap, fake physicians and being the largest call-center and phone scam center of the entire Cosmos. I just got another call from an undisclosed location from a man who had a heavy Indian accent claiming to work for Microsoft and that my computer has problems that need attending to; sigh. I cant tell you how many call I got from people with the same accent claiming to be from the I.R.S fraud division and that they are the only ones who can help me. I don't fall for this shit one bit but I worry about naïve people such as seniors who would fall for this type of non-sense. I even called the police and they stated they were aware of the fraudulent non-sense going on and my towns people were warned of these phone scams. And India is going to benefit the neo cons? What a joke!

On the Allied bombing of Germany, this veteran of the U.S. Air Force found Jörg Friedrich's Das Feuer [The Fire] an extremely disturbing book.

Posted by: lysias | Jun 15 2016 22:39 utc | 88

I read it in German, so I undoubtedly failed to understand some of the grisly details, but what I did understand was quite horrifying enough. And the book is now out in English translation, for those who prefer to read it in that language. I bought the translation, but I had been so disturbed by the German original that I couldn't bring myself to read it again. I suppose I will get around to it some day.

UkTahder@57 Is that you Chip? Not getting any better is it?
My friend once told me he wanted to stay at work to see how the story ends, like a gripping thriller novel. The story was of how our corrupted bosses were tearing strips off each other and us.

Downfall [Der Untergang] was directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, not Wolfgang Peterson.

Interesting view on the Justice Against State Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) and Reciprocity by William Dodge, a law professor at UCDavis as published in JustSecurity.

If the U.S. allows Saudi Arabia to be sued under JASTA, how many other nations will like up to sue the U.S. for sponsoring terrorism in their countries? AFghanistan is a stretch, but Libya? Iraq? Syria? I think Iran has a good claim as well (MEK).

I can't believe Congress even wants to let that cat out of the bag.

Don't complain about the brutality of firebombing Dresden after you've built Buchenwald and Auschwitz.

German general calls for new tanks against Russia

Seventy-five years after Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union, the German military is again arming itself against Russia. Vollmer confirmed that the military will participate in the permanent deployment of NATO combat troops in Eastern Europe. At the NATO summit to be held in Warsaw at the beginning of July, Germany will propose taking leadership of one of the four planned “robust, multi-national NATO battalions” in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland. To this end, the military wants to send an additional 600 soldiers to Lithuania.

The German military is already playing a leading role in NATO deployments in Eastern Europe, which are an increasingly direct preparation for a war against Russia. It is currently involved in Operation Anaconda, the largest NATO manoeuvre since the end of the Cold War. On June 8, German combat engineers worked with British, Dutch and American soldiers to build a more than 300-meter-long amphibious bridge across the Vistula at Chelmno, over which heavy tanks can drive in the direction of Russia. At the same time, the German military is taking part in sea manoeuvres in the Baltic Sea and exercises in the Baltic states.

The return of German militarism to Eastern Europe is part of the foreign policy “turn” that President Joachim Gauck, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen announced at the beginning of 2014. At that time, Steinmeier declared that Germany would now have to intervene “earlier, more decisively and more substantially” in world politics.

The US is in Europe. The Russians are out. But the Germans ain't down. Like the South, Deutschland shall rise again!? And the Japanese sun is rising again in East Asia.

'Ex'-NAZIs in the US from Europe, Japanese collaborators in South Korea, al CIAduh in Afghanistan and thence, like a plague, all over the world.

And now the official resurrection of German and Japanese militarists. Will they get as 'out of hand' as ISIS and al CIAduh have?

The neo-cons - who care no more for the consequences of their actions now than did the US Air Force Generals in Washington who sent the bombers over Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and North Korea then - will stop at nothing to devastate everyone 'over there', so that they can remain the only ones standing, 'over here'.

It's like dejavu all over again. Can't everyone see it coming?

ISIS-linked operative murders police commander and his wife near Paris

In a gruesome and horrific crime, a man apparently linked to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) murdered a police commandant and then his wife, an administrative worker in a police office, in the city of Magnanville, 60 km northwest of Paris.

The assailant mortally stabbed Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, identified in press reports as a 42-year-old official in the judicial police of Les Mureaux, outside his house on Monday evening. He then took Salvaing’s 36-year-old wife Jessica Schneider and their three-year-old child hostage in their residence, launching a standoff with the RAID (Research, Assistance, Intervention, Deterrence) police special forces unit.

The RAID unit assaulted the house at midnight Tuesday, killing the assailant and discovering Schneider’s lifeless body and the couple’s young child. Schneider’s throat had been slit in front of the child, whom authorities described as “physically unharmed but traumatized.” The young orphan is now receiving psychiatric treatment.

Yesterday morning, French intelligence and police services identified the deceased assailant as Larossi Abballa.

Abballa was well-known to the intelligence services.

This stuff has been happening everyday for the past five years in Syria. The perpetrators - the USA, EU, Turkey, UK, FR, the KSA, the GCC - are well-known to everyone with a pulse who still draws breath and walks the earth.

Opposition mounts to French labor law in new national day of action

Yesterday’s day of action against the Socialist Party (PS) government’s labor law, the first national protest held since last month, revealed a growing determination among workers to fight the austerity policies imposed by the ruling class across the European Union (EU).

Despite the government’s efforts to smash strikes and demoralize workers, marches in several cities were noticeably larger than in previous mobilizations. About 50 protests were scheduled throughout France.

Workers traveled to the protest in Paris from across the country in trains and convoys of buses chartered for the occasion. While police estimated that 75,000 people participated, trade union sources claimed that more than 1 million took part.

According to press reports, between 6,000-20,000 people marched in Toulouse and 4,000 in Rennes. In France’s second city, Lyon, between 3,800 and 10,000 people gathered.

Even more than the swelling of the protest marches, the strength and the sweep of the demands being advanced by workers testifies to the broad radicalization of the movement in the working class against the PS government.

The demands raised in the protests against the labor law go well beyond the retraction of this one reactionary measure. Workers are increasingly hostile to all the PS’ policies: austerity, the state of emergency and imperialist interventions overseas.

Where there's life in the streets there's hope.
