Aren't you really putting way too much effort into this? It's cutting into the time you might be better using finding some other ultra-right conspiracy to glom onto. Sure you don't have something to say about Vince Foster's death? There's gotta be some stray Whitewater thread you could hysterically ramp up into the Crime of the Century.

So let me see, can I get my head 'round this jive.
You really didn't call a guy who wants opponents beaten up, is threatening to send his storm trooper wanna-be Tea Partiers into a Sanders rally, and wants to wall off the Mexican border (and even thinks he can get them to pay for it) "a counter-establishment democratic choice"? Sounds like you just walked the Mississippi Freedom Democrats into the drum circle. I would certainly think endorsers like David Duke and assorted white nationalists would be "counter-establishment," but this would not be my own personal description.
No doubt, if he had threatened a Green Party rally, you'd be concerned. There is a Green Tea Movement, as I'm sure you know. Recycled tin foil hats are quite ecologically responsible.
Christ, I feel sorry for you know. Seriously. Sayin' shit like this, I see why you were working so long and hard to try somehow to link me to Kagan.

@rufus:
Most human beings would have accepted the explanation that they demanded I give.LOL. Classic bullsh!t attempt to turn the tables. What a jerk.
.
Referring to a Palestinian killed by Israeli forces unjustly, you wrote:
One down, 12mil. more to go.Most at MoA already knew or suspected your Zionism but your deceptiveness and refusal to retract this offensive remark has confirmed it. It's been nearly 5 months now and your abstinence is unabated.
Its just a bad joke now: how low will rufus go?
Dig rufus dig!
LOL!
<> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <>
For those who have not kept track, here's a recap of the digging thus far (LOL):
rufus: One down, 12mil to go.
You are excusing State murder
rufus: I was just correcting jfl's mis-characterization
No you went beyond that.
rufus: Murder is murder
States are held to a higher standard
rufus: Israel hasn't unjustly killed as many people as Nazi Germany
. . . . . (responding by making a state to state comparison!)
Really? You are trying to make Israel look good in comparison to the worst State in history?
rufus: I'm not anti-Palestinian - I believe in the 2-state solution!
Your support for what has become a mirage is an empty testament and no excuse for your statement
rufus: It wasn't an execution
Amnesty Int'l has condemned the Israeli actions that led to the death of an innocent man
rufus: You are hounding me / etc.
Attacking the messenger
rufus: It was a wisecrack
That doesn't excuse it. And if true, why all the bullsh!t?
rufus: No one cares: even anti-Zionists at MoA have not made this an issue;
Attempt to side-step the issue
rufus: Most human beings would have accepted the explanation
Attempt to turn the tables
rufus: Hey look - the real Nazis in Ukraine!
Changing the subject
rufus: Whatever
Stonewalling

It's interesting that when Chipnik said he was leaving MoA quite a few people expressed misgivings/ wished him well. But when Rufus pretended to flounce off into the sunset everyone pretended not to notice.
Posted by: Hoarsewhisperer | Mar 16 2016 3:34 utc | 205
@205 hw... that is weird about chipnik.. not sure why he needed to say goodbye.. most of the reality of moa posters in real life is removed from us.. i think there might have been health issues, but it is just a wild guess on my part..
anyone have any thoughts on what is going on in brazil at present? it has been in the national canuck paper the past 2 weekends - weekend edition on the cover... is this another colour revolution, precipitated by the ziko thing? that is my suspicion..

Let's discuss your developing tendency to sign onto right wing memes. Trump is not a "counter-establishment democratic choice" who will take power from the elite. He represents the nativist wing of that elite. As a financier and NYC property developer, he is the Establishment.
If you had the issues, you'd be discussing them, instead of my perceived character flaws. Rave on.

What a show. A tragic farce.
Oh the drama! Oh the melodrama!
As rufass the contortionist fool,
Disappears into his own rufasshole.
From the safety of that foul perch he proclaims:
I'm here to stay! Lets talk about the issues!

I wish I could sell tickets.

Likely more important than (P)residentual politics 2016 will concern the Supreme Court nomination to fill the vacancy of Scalia. Whether party politics (totally unavoidable) trumps constitutional governance or constitutional governance has devolved to mythology, something told to toddlers to get them to eat their spinach. Words and attitudes will be used to thwart the nomination, those using these tactics should never be allowed to return to elected public office for the duration of their lives, and their public benefice be reduced to a level enjoyed by a single woman with child, that being the price of suborning their oaths of office.
The country is lucky enough to have reality surpass fiction in which a Hollywood mogul finds the dead head of a horse in their bed, in Texas, they found the horse's ass dead in bed - Scalia.

I don't know any more than you do. I thought his #10 was unusually literary/ poetic/ bucolic, and nobody writes like that by accident. Hence my book quip/guess on the thread.

Here's a little non-state violence, for all you chaos fans. Trump is instructing his supporters to riot in the event he is denied the nomination. And as Crooks & Liars goes on elsewhere, conveniently point out, his people are ready to commit acts for which they would send the police into Ferguson or Baltimore. They quote Scottie Nell Hughes, "Tea Party shill and self-proclaimed Trump supporter" as saying "riots aren't necessarily a bad thing" if they are attacking to the corrupt Republican establishment.
It's this sort of wishful thinking - that a corrupt oligarch is best equipped to take on corrupt oligarchs - that propels Liberal Apologists for Trump. They seem to neglect just what drives Trump's "populism of fools," to paraphrase the late August Bebel.
One would think that these incidents would be enough to convince liberals that Trump's popularity is deeply tied to his open advocacy of racist violence, but a disconcerting number of liberal commentators have sought to downplay Trump's racist and fascist tendencies....In focusing on Trump's populism alone, these analyses ignore David Neiwert's insight that Trump's updated neo-fascist rhetoric is "designed to demonize an entire class of people by reducing them to objects fit only for elimination.
Not to worry, though; they're just non-state actors. For now....

Dig! the rufass hole gets deeper!
rufus likens Trump supporters to the unruly Palestinians.
He does this via references ("non-state") to my complaints about his excusing Israel state murder (I explained that a State is held to a higher standard of conduct - rufus disagreed).
I don't see how else one can read it.
Zionist hysteria. From rufass jester, the contortionist fool.

In his Phoenix speech, Bernie Sanders called for riots (indirectly):
Do not settle for the status quo when the status quo is broken!"

in re 214 --
You are an idiot. Sanders is not threatening the press. His supporters are not committing acts of violence against journalists and protesters.
First The Donald as "Counter-Establishment Democratic Choice" (TM), now this. You seem willing to do or say anything you think will make me look bad in your pointless campaign to extort my agreement. That's really sad.
So I think I detect a stunning turnaround of your position on Sanders candidacy. I believe you originally considered him a border collie, sheep-dogging lefty voters, unwilling to criticize Mrs. Clinton. Now he's gone overnight to American bull terrier, promising insurrection.
How do you get from "don't settle" to riots, even indirectly? Generally amongst the rad-libs, demonstratively permitting oneself to be arrested is the preferred modality of "not settling". What other reading could you possible parse? Unless you're some sort of MSM "both sides do it" lame ass. Or a budding Green Tea Party insurrectionist. Jill Stein isn't planning a coffee house putsch, is she?
Perhaps you accept Trump's allegation that the protester were all Sanders fault, and deserve whatever his minions elect to unleash upon him.
Lo how hath the mighty fallen. From entire armies of strawmen to grasping at single straws.

In this episode of the rufass show, the contortionist fool conflates Trump and his supporters and mocks your humble presenter for holding his feet to the fire.
Trump didn't call for riots. He has simply predicted that "there would be" riots if the Republican nominee wasn't the democratic choice.
Sanders says that the economy is "rigged" against the people and he all but says that elections are bought. Now he says "don't settle". Sanders is essentially calling for RESISTANCE against TPTB. His call is open-ended - so rioting is not out of the question.
Trump's words are twisted because he has a possibility of winning. Sanders has little chance to win (mostly because he wouldn't attack Clinton's character directly) so his "call" is being ignored.

There is now talk of running a conservative as a third-party candidate if Trump is the nominee. So-called "true conservatives" say that they couldn't allow Trump or Hillary to be President. But, of course, splitting the Republican vote would make Hillary a shoe-in.
What we are witnessing is the neolibcon establishment against the people. rufass jester, the contortionist fool, trolls for the establishment.

Formerly T-Bear, were you at OU in the 60s?
Not that I recall. OU ??? Oklahoma ??? Ohio ??? Other ??? University ??? About what time frame, the 60's spanned a whole decade and possibly more depending on context, e.g. politically it lasted until about the mid 70's when Nixon's paranoia finally silenced the generation; musically until the end of the 70's or whenever disco happened.
