I’m new-ish commenting around here but those comments and other similar ones in the past seem, er, obliquely pornographic in a snuffy kind of way. Am I missing something? Consider reducing dosage level, ideally to zero. Certainly the comparison isn’t an exact one and the numbers for the Cuba example pale by comparison – I suppose it is speculating too much to have wondered (as I did) whether ‘great minds’ in the US camp might have remembered what I was remembering and put a flea in Erdogan’s ear so to speak. Who then may have expected to be supported in his own grand design. Some of Castro’s releases, it was claimed at the time, were from his prisons, which was not the case for Erdogan of course. Is Merkel now going to use the New Years Rape Night to back out of her open-armed embrace of Syriaq refugees? Simply taking advantage of right-wing agitation? or creating it, in order to take advantage of it?
And will Merkel now no longer sell weapons to the newly apparent terrorist Saudi Arabia, but train Da’esh operatives themselves, directly … nihilistically and ‘democratically’, I guess? Posted by: jfl | Jan 10 2016 9:38 utc | 115 113 Posted by: Chipnik | Jan 10 2016 9:45 utc | 116 @113 Sadly, a bomb cannot be well placed to destroy the rule of finance. And in the current media setting, bombs are message free, to be interpreted thru/by a big finance/PTB run Western media. What’s needed are mass communication and mass action. Less fear, more class analysis and solidarity. If one would believe Western propaganda, one would think Tibet is an occupied country of saints by the evil China. Reality is, Tibet is a historic China’s land, and they indeed run things better than despotic medieval Lamas (think of Saudis without oil in Himalayas). And I have no love for Chinese ruling party. Maine has become a haven for the heroin trade, as opiates have become harder to come by in the last decade and the heroin supply is abundant. Prices for a gram can be as much as three times higher than in New York, according to the Press Herald. Seventeen percent of people arrested last year by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency for drug trafficking were not Maine residents.
That the photo is worth of thousand words is well known. I’ve never understood what that means. I consider that the Western culture, and in particular the US ones, is zoological for the most part. When I say “zoological” it might bring a picture of hyena and lion eating its victim but they just do that to survive. Anybody has knowledge of that rally? As far as I know there is no “Syrian refugees” in significant number in the US.
This is where the Body Language is important in highly tribal societies. The US is essentially Lawless, and communication is happening in zoological way by gesticulating by signs despite the fact they using language. That’s why Identity is important in Fascists states: the US and Europe. There is study of it called Social Semiotics. I believe the lynching of Blacks and Latinos is example of the White Man Social Semiotics practice where the mob without order from above, spontaneously, is murdering and lynching minorities. Same here where Trump in fact inviting mob on lynching and murder.
She is allegedly a flight-attendant so it is safe to assume she is legal resident. Usually in the White Man media outlets they say whether is sameone “Naturalized American” or a Muslim-American, or she is dual citizenship. It seems, journalists doesn’t dare to say either one. I for one always claim that Muslim-American is oxymoron.
Of course the Rule of Law have applied selectively. The Guardian’s photo exemplify that. Posted by: Neretva’43 | Jan 10 2016 17:16 utc | 146 Patrick Cockburn is the UK version of Seymour Hersh. Except for maybe… because they’ve been in prison for three or four years? Ah, justice in the heroic allies of the United States. Who wouldn’t it want it imposed on there country by ariel bombardment and violent gangs? I’d say maybe my problem is I don’t spend enough time on the internet, but that’s not really possible. The Saudi version of Islam is misogynist and EXTREMELY (i.e., violently if you take its words seriously) intolerant of other religions and even slightly different versions of Islam. And THAT, not ‘Islam’, is the problem. Generalizing the problem to ‘Islam’ takes the focus off the massively funded Saudi ‘Islam’ … which is what the PTB and their media want.
