Egypt: Today's Developments
Some developments in Egypt:Over night the Supreme Command of the Armed Forces put out a new constitutional declaration and the path to a rewritten constitution and new elections. A first analysis shows that it is along the line of the not well written old constitution but with some changes that the Salafis had demanded. It is not good on rights and vague on essentials. The winner here are the judges, the military and the Salafis. There were some rather candid comments about this process and the "liberal" organizers of the protests that brought the coup called it "dictatorial".
There is a list of some 16 senior Muslim Brotherhood leaders that the army had put under house arrest or arrested.
The New Yorker found a witness who saw yesterday's shooting in Cairo in which some 50 people lost their life. It seems that indeed the army was attacked by some unknown men on motorcycles who did not belong to the Muslim Brother demonstrators who were holding a sit in. The army then shot back and likely in error hit lots of demonstrators. There are surely several parties who might have had a motive to instigate this clash.
A former finance minister was named for the premier minister position and former IAEA official ElBaradei was named as vice president for foreign affairs.
Saudi Arabia and the UAE promised $8 billion, partly as gift, partly as loan, for the Egyptian state and economy. The lasted offer from Qatar before the coup against Morsi was $5 billion. Egypt should reject all such offers.
Twenty-two AlJazeerah staff have resigned over the channels partisan pro-Muslim Brotherhood reporting on Egypt.

criticism is a far cry from demanding the heads of UK and Israel be sent to ICC
consider:
'Libya must comply with the decision made by the International Criminal Court (ICC) and immediately surrender Saif al-Islam Gaddafi to the Court in The Hague, said Amnesty International.'
http://www.amnesty.org.au/news/comments/31929/
AI want a man who committed no crime to be sent to the ICC, while those who DO ISraels regime, US UK etc are merely criticsed, as Anonymous reminds us

@Anonymous | Jul 12, 2013 1:48:52 PM | 101, You really are a strange little cookie, I have never use the word "Zionists", you do, just not my thing or way. I did mention DIFD, who give generously to AI and that does contradict AI’s values. DIFID though in part 'unlock the potential of girls and women' so could be good for you as you are troubled and estranged and would make a great case study.
AI got into trouble for lean (Bias) , it's funding took a hammering so it took ‘corrective measures’, what one calls balanced reporting, just paper fact-checks for 'checks' ($$$), and that’s the way it works. Soros funds AI; even you as a radical Islamists white chick trying to be in the 'Sisterhood' can, they don’t refuse 'coin'.
AI - Q4,last year, staff-members worldwide went on strike, and AI advocates for labor rights! In truth they chase trend, and the money, chop and change direction like a fashion parade, they do more setting up offices and raising funds than in doing the basic human rights work - It's become a ‘publicity artist’ with great pay - Shetty’s annual take-home pay of $300,000
As for " then why do we hear criticism against UK interests? Why do we hear criticism against Israel?" - Oh dear, ok, sit down 101 – Money talks - AI as perception keep an objective distance from groups and ideas that are committed to systematic discrimination and those that fundamentally undermine the universality of human rights. Take the Moazzam Begg issue, UK' supporter of the Taliban (Bit like you); it was legitimate and expected to hear his case, but as a 'supporter' of the Taliban it totally unethical to legitimize him as a partner - That was more or less a statement from a AI worker, thus got fired.
Anyhow; you love Morsi, are a hardliner Brotherhood supporter, rant about islamohphobia even if you’re not from a Muslim country or even brought up as a Muslim, yet insanely support ‘Radical Islam’ thus giving Islam a bad rap (Could be your MO and agenda). You openly hate Assad (Adding to the last Agenda point), so you in line with the US & Israel in regards to Syria, thus also support Al Qaida, then to cover your tracks throw in terms like RoL & democracy as you spew your hate game.
You also believe ‘Guys’ are obsessed with you and in some ‘sexual’ context, so you have a clear detachment from reality and obviously an abused childhood, but you can get help with that.
Listen, if more people think you are a fool than like you, you have a problem, don’t you get the hint? - In that, can’t you see you have some serious issues and just could be a part of the problem! - I tolerate you in the hope you learn something, but tolerance can be a wasted virtue in some cases, just like yours.

@kev "I tolerate you in the hope you learn something, but tolerance can be a wasted virtue in some cases, just like yours."
This is a hopeless case. Anon is clearly a bit ill. Not to play armchair psychologist (I prefer armchair geopolitical analyst, obviously) but this seems fitting:
Psychological projection was conceptualized by Sigmund Freud in the 1890s as a defence mechanism in which a person unconsciously rejects his or her own unacceptable attributes by ascribing them to objects or persons in the outside world.

So just because Amnesty hasnt called for UK to be in ICC, that mean they that Amnesty are ruled by the UK?
You dont seems to understand how ICC works, not every, but very grave crimes are dealt with there. Thus there is no reason for ICC to deal with UK.
kev
Thats the issue you have no knowledge, you googling your way forward on every issue (even the arab insults which wasnt much more than a simple word), one could even copy and paste your numbers, names etc that you have used and find them posted on other sites.
Again go to Amnesty site and look for yourself how the funding works, it seems that your "20 mintues" googling have not left you anyway more knowledgable.
And like I said, get off my nuts, as I said I am heterosexual and thus not interested. There are specific sites for that kev. :)

on the contrary: the ICC is an agent of US imperialism:
--------------------------------------------
1. (C) International Criminal Court Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo told Ambassadors Rice and Wolff on March 20 that Sudanese President Bashir needed to be isolated. Ocampo suggested if Bashir's stash of money were disclosed (he put the figure at possibly $9 billion), it would change Sudanese public opinion from him being a "crusader" to that of a thief. Ocampo reported Lloyd's Bank in London might be holding or knowledgeable of the whereabouts of his money. Ocampo suggested simply exposing that Bashir had illegal accounts would be enough to turn the Sudanese against him, "as with Pinochet."

the same ICC has no interest in US war crime in IrAQ afghanistan etc
and as any african and irishman knows:

@Anonymous | Jul 13, 2013 4:53:09 AM | 106 - What guy would say 'Get off my nuts' little squirrel - unless of course you are American or US based, or a ‘wanabe’, obliviously young, if not ‘mutton acting as a lamb’, still studying (And failing), as you are, and thus fan of Eminem (Also suffered addiction, depression in turn rants, are you using Vicodin? Only ‘House does it well, and that is a TV show)) or a fan of B-Boyz/ DJ Khaled –Say no more...
BTY, you should stop living your life via PressTV and explore a little more since you have no experience in the field or in general; then again Galloway does look like a ‘white’ Morsi, strange that! -You are infatuated. Poor thing; it must be that ‘Papa’ trauma thing as I suspected. In that you did say negative connotations about the Scots, yet Mr. Galloway is a Jock! Moreover he liked and supported Saddam, something you like to push out in an argument even if not related several times - Wake up you’re an absolute tit and can’t tie your shoe laces from all that tripping! Galloway does not like ‘Islamist extremists’, he made that very clear in his The 7/7 suicide bombings speech. In addition, George Galloway scorned Morsi for handling Syrian crisis.
Nothing wrong with Google, and ‘all’ your links are via the web, just to point out that fact, and you have written FA ‘original’; at all! Google a great resource, yet does have the negative side, like - allowing the cheeky ‘Anons’ to be disruptive annoying little imps. But having had children and all grown up, working and independent and balanced - I can understand where you are, my kid’s had friends like you, shame your parents were not there for you when needed, and overly when not needed; child abuse is a horrific thing -Did you make that therapy appointment yet? Let’s hope you come to terms and find solace.
What do you know about the ICC? and most of your inputs, I can guarentee 100% FA apart from your Google searches and some mad quest that has no merit or grounds other than disruption - I rest my case...

Again googling amnesty funding or charity wont do it, dont you understand?
You could go on to Amnesty's own site and read about where they get their funding they make no secret of it.
Besides its quite funny when you say that Amnesty is sponsored by UK gov. or the "zionists" or whatever you call them for the moment, then why do we hear criticism against UK interests? Why do we hear criticism against Israel?
"20+ years" rather 20 minutes. :)
