Moon of Alabama Brecht quote
June 28, 2011
Flotilla II

Starting from Greece a flotilla of some 10 ships is ready to protest against and break the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

The Netanyahoo government its trying to prevent that by all available means. It sabotages the ships, distributes fake videos defaming the flotilla, it threatens journalists and spreads lies about the protesters intent. Pseudo-NGO's and lobbyist put pressure on the Greek government to hold ships back.

Like the first flotilla this one may well again end up with Israeli soldiers killing unarmed protesters. The U.S. government is obviously fine with that (as long as the bribes from the Israel lobby arrive).

Is there any government more vile than the Israeli one?

Is there any government more vile than the Israeli one?

Yes all the other governments who give the Zionist entity the legitimacy and look the other way to he murderous crimes. What happens if states want to take the ICC to court for slander and spreading false information, who do they turn to?

Glenn Greenwald finds the US State Dept.’s attitude disgusting — it almost sounds like Hillary is saying that if anything bad happens to the people on the flotilla, they deserve it. I listened to an almost unbelievable St. Dept. spokeswoman on Democracy Now! yesterday avoiding answering direct questions on this topic, but, clearly, if something bad happened it was all the protesters’ fault. And, also, there are threats of “fines and incarceration” for dealing with terrorists…. All Gazans are not teerrorists?
Do any public figures emerge from recent US administrations with their reputations intact? Hillary, for one, has become a proponent and protector of the Unitary Executive she so opposed as a senator. So, which is the real belief? She told Congressional members who voted against the Libyan adventure, in so many words, that they were either for or against Gadiffi. Steve Chu, Nobel physics prize winner, is Obama’s Secty of Energy — and does what to actually fight global warming? Or to even enducate the American public?
Ack!

And now that I’m reading all the links, I see the master aggregator already has these links in his post. Oh, me of little faith!

“Is there any government more vile than the Israeli one?” That is a hard question. I think the USA and Israel are in a dead heat.

Posted by: joseph | Jun 28 2011 18:46 utc | 4

not as far as i am concerned

I agree w/ Joseph. Too close to call.
A government that would murder 500,000 Iraqi pre-schoolers, send their Secretary of State on Link to”60 Minutes” to broadcast to the world “we think the price is worth it, and then paint Osama bin Laden as a worse terrorist and itself as having the higher moral ground, is beyond contempt.
But yes, Israel’s acts of genocide and apartheid may put them in the lead as “most vile government”. Did the Zionists learn nothing from WWII?

Imagine if anyone (other than Israel) were to “sabotage” US naval or merchant vessels.
Would that not be terrorism?
It NOT terrorism when WE do it!

those people on the flotilla are brave; they know that Israel knows only the language of force; I’m not a believer, but I’ll try to pray for them anyway, they’ll need it; their cause is noble: Gaza (together with Guantanamo) is Kafka brought into the real world

The Israeli army is claiming that those who are aboard the flotilla are making plans to kill Israeli soldiers who board their ships:

The Israeli army must have been looking in a mirror when it made this claim. And if I’m not mistaken, there’s a Freudian term for this — projection. It’s where you project your thoughts about yourselves onto others. So if anything, the Israeli army is making plans to kill those who are aboard the flotilla, not the other way around. Too bad Sigmund Freud isn’t around to diagnose and treat this psychological aliment that is warping the minds of so many of his fellow Jews living in Israel!

Is there any government more vile than the Israeli one?
Well, for starters, there is a government who let another country get away with bombing one its military vessels, killing 34 and wounding 170.

When the US government refuses to respond to an attack on its warships, why would anyone think that it cares if ordinary citizens get massacred in the same seas?

Israel has become what they’ve feared most. A bigoted fascist state, lusting for the land of others.

#6 – The Zionists learned all to well from the National Socialist government of Germany in the thirties and forties.

only the US is more adept and prolific at murdering defenseless foreigners and coddling and enabling other “allies” like shitty little apartheid state Israel.
so yea, there is one government more vile.
