US Gov. Mental Screens / Preemptive Interventions = Eugenics All Over Again
Sunday, 14 June 2009

The NAS report is one of several U.S. government initiatives aimed at lending legitimacy to, and vastly expanding, the use of the most toxic drugs in pharmacopeia in children.
This is a follow-up to yesterday’s Infomail about a report under the auspices of the National Academies of Science (NAS) which calls for pre-emptive interventions to “prevent” “mental, emotional and behavioral disorders among young people.” The NAS report recommends “rigorous” mental screening, followed by pharmacologic “treatment” intervention with highly toxic psychoactive drugs—antidepressants and antipsychotics—even as the authors acknowledge that: “Early-detection programs will identify as candidates for mental illness some people who are merely persnickety or shy or eccentric.”
The NAS report is one of several U.S. government initiatives aimed at lending legitimacy to, and vastly expanding, the use of the most toxic drugs in pharmacopoeia in children. Most of these children would never be considered candidates for psychiatric diagnosis or treatment in other countries. The implementation of these initiatives will ensnare millions of American children into becoming involuntary consumers of drugs that induce metabolic, hormonal, neurological, cardiovascular damage.
Of note, before the NAS report had even been edited for publication, the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) has already established an “Early Detection & Intervention for the Prevention of Psychosis Program” (EDIPPP) to implement the report’s recommendations. The problem: there exists not a shred of scientific evidence to support “preventive” cures for psychosis.

Priorities: F-22 Funds Approved in Wee-Hours Vote

After more than 16 hours of squabbling over the 2010 defense budget, weary committee members voted 31-30 at 2:30 a.m. to keep the F-22 program alive by making a $369 million down payment on 12 more planes.
U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates had intended to end F-22 production at 187 fighters, but House lawmakers overruled him.
The $369 million would buy advance procurement parts to begin production on a dozen new fighters. Ultimately, the planes would cost about $2.8 billion.
The advance procurement money would be taken from funds budgeted for Energy Department cleanups at nuclear weapons sites, a House aide said.

Within the procurement sections of the Pentagon itself, they have extremely sophisticated computer models and programs to determine the optimum spread of jobs for any given major weapons program.
Before ever approaching Congress with deliberately low-ball estimates for new (or more) weapons, the Pentagon has already worked out to the last detail which Congressional Districts should get which jobs, and how many of each.
These jobs then become patronage chips on the Hill to convince individual Congresscritters to not only approve the money for the program (entirely on the basis of jobs brought home to their District), but to defend it henceforth. They cannot get reelected if they lose jobs in their District, or fail to bring ever more of them home.
As soon as the new contracts are sent out to dozens and dozens of contractors spread across dozens and dozens of Congressional Districts, Step Two is to gradually let the real cost of the program become known to Congress. This means more money must be appropriated to keep the program going.
Step Three is Cost Overruns. Congress is forced to appropriate even more money, or risk their cushy jobs.
Neat racket. Hard to break into, and hard to break down.

Antifa @4 – interesting how when DOD rushes up to the hill waving the “lost jobs” flag, Congress quickly finds the money or otherwise takes action to keep the weapons flowing. When auto companies and unions tried waving the jobs flag, Congress responded with a catatonic stare and asked “Can you remind me of your name again?”

But, but, but I thought everything coming in from ‘Iran’ on Twitter was the absolute truth … sigh … what is this world coming to!?

Posted by: ensley | Jun 18 2009 13:54 utc | 9

If Zionist neocons from either the US or Israel did help create this narrative about Iran’s election being rigged in Ahmadinejad’s favor, they did this not because they want Mousavi brought to power in order to bring more freedom and civil liberties to the people of Iran. If anything, they did this because they want to undermine the stability of Iran in order to ensure that Israel remains the sole superpower in the Middle East.

This from the comments in b’s link @5.
“[David Saranga] said on Tuesday that Twitter, the short messaging website, has revolutionized Israeli diplomacy and become a leading advocacy apparatus.”

What did I say about Twitter on the other thread? Velly intellestintg.

Cynthia, if they have a hand in it, it would be to force Ahmadinejad to throw all of his chips in the pot, or up the ante. They want to make him show his ass, completely unbridled. This can only result in a major crackdown and major bloodshed, and he will become more and more like the Dictator he’s been painted to be and will be painted as. One more straw to break the camel’s back and further support for a bombardment.

[RE ‘Green Green Shoots of Home’]
Homeland Kleptocracy™ portfolio will be sold under the shrieking “Hyperinflation” banner, and the world will starve while Americans rush to underwrite the naked shorts on Wall Street and their massive engineered commodities price spikes, which Obama’s kleptophile ‘plan’ does NOT prevent.
The only Green Shoots are Dead Zombie tendrils, worming their way into your Estate.
Can you hear them, gribbles gnawing, just below the level of your media perception?
Oh, wait, forgot! You’re engrossed in that OTHER “green”, the “Green” Revolution, and I’m not talking about the charade in Iran, I’m talking about $938 BILLION/year Carbon Cap & Trade Estate Extraction Pipeline now worming its way through Congress.
To arms! To arms! You can watch ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in the Purgatory to come!

Reminding you descendants what we fought for, I came back to life for a day:
1775
• English soldiers could garrison in colonists’ homes.
US Defense spending, with the approval of Boeing’s F-22 expansion, is now more than 50% of all our taxes, and more than 70% of all discretionary Federal spending. In essence, our own homes (mortgages and taxes) are being used to garrison Wehrmacht troops in more than 200 bases around the world. Our homes will decline in value by 40%, and millions will be repossessed, but Defense budgets will still increase 6% every year. There are more homeless now, than there are troops and mercs combined.
• Colonists had to send all raw materials to England where goods were manufactured. Thus, colonists had to buy back goods made with their own raw materials.
The US manufacturing industry has steadily declined, under policies deliberately set to sell arms, supercomputers and jet airplanes, in return for selling US out. With massive Israel espionage, and primacy of AirBus over colossally mismanaged Boeing (which can’t survive even with massive dependency on Defend contract fraud), there is very little left for US manufacturers, except vintage car makeover kits.
• Colonists had to pay a special tax on everything they were forced to buy from England.
The special tax we pay is known as ‘illegal corporate subsidies’, such as oil depletion allowance, corporate farm subsidies, ‘green energy’ subsidies, Defense “Made in USA” subsidies, Spanish American War Tax (OK, I threw that in) so many hidden taxes that in some metropolitan areas, taxpayers are paying MORE THAN 50% of their income for taxes, surcharges and fees, and we are number 36 in world health and what, number 58 in world education?
More War! More Weapons! More Prisons! More Deficits!
Or, you can follow the example of Lech Wolenza, and take your country back from the NeoSoviet bloc Politburo in New York/Washington DC.
Guess where the highest US personal incomes are. Guess! Long Island? Nope. Las Vegas, surely! Nope. Hollywood? Nope. Palo Alto? Nope. West Palm Beach? Nope.
Highest US personal incomes are in counties in Maryland and Virginia by WA DC.
I’ve got to go lie down under a cherry tree.
