On Top Talent:
Top talent, in the banking/bank-insurance fields, refers only to those individuals who are hyper subservient, willing to lie, to posture, to cheat, to more or less kill others, for personal gain, which will be awarded to them by others – they can’t even collect it themselves!
They are locked in an authoritarian scheme, and asked to blind themselves, and btw forget their families (or perso lives) who are a great risk and don’t like putting up with cocaine addiction.
No allegiance is offered to them, no excuses available, no super-ordinate goals, and to do their job they must understand, and be qualified to do so, that they are destructive gamblers, servants of those above them whom they cannot ever touch.
They know they are the scum of the earth.
So, being optimistic and upbeat, they are quite rare birds, thin on ground, difficult to find, head-hunt. As they are one in a million -say- their wages and bonuses (etc.) must be sky high and always rising to attract the very few amoral pathological shits. And even with the fantastic compensation, many quit, disappear, with various excuses, or commit suicide. So the turn over is considerable. More, and more again, has to be paid to attract potential candidates.
That is why the earn so much and the bonuses etc. have to be paid, cannot be cancelled or downsized, and are upheld, defended, no matter the situation.
Those leaving the big banks are doing so because they could – it sounds OK now – or because they know the winds have shifted – or because there is more money to be made elsewhere, some new scene…
Happy Easter!

Have to include a link for some Lithuanian decorated eggs.

@Tangerine – the best description yet I have read about them.

Thanks Obelix – yes – painted eggs are about everywhere. China has some, India too – don’t know about indigenous South America. It’s a universal part of spring fertility feasts around the world.
The Christian Easter is just a part of that.

DavidS —
The New Revelation of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a very attractive religion. Its devotees can be found, not only worldwide, but also in the synthetic world of Second Life.
