I wish you all some contemplative, hope- and peaceful holidays.

May all walls come down.

contemplative, hope –yes, and thank you b, all.
but for peace to live the word itself must be allowed to breathe freely.
in the US it’s strangled beyond belief, but the suffocation is global.
for what it’s worth:

is a process that pulls disparate particles from the ether
whether relevancy appears obvious or obscure.

in the hearts of those who knew, who know.
unless it doesn’t. because those who remember die off and what is left is their stories. we aren’t fighting for future remembrances but those who deceive always seek to grasp the today, to write the narrative of lies. i used to think they created (twisted) the narrative after the event, but now i know they create the narrative/lie and then act while presuming we will consume the lie as hungry beasts consume their prey, and we do ..too often.
if there are enough of us witnessing, we will write history of this i am sure. in hope they will listen..in hope i wish us all a peace today.

lizard, don’t blockquote your poems for heavens sake. they’re original. don’t be shy. here , i will do it for you so we can all read your words..

Harold Pinter, RIP

Wishes of peace to all of moonkind.
And to everyone on earth.

Posted by: beq | Dec 25 2008 16:27 utc | 18

not surprising in the least that the bourgeois media in reporting the death of pinter emasculate his political engagement – cnn as usual excelling in its enunciation does not mentiion his engagement at all

Posted by: remembereringgiap | Dec 25 2008 17:06 utc | 19

the times mentions only “his intemperate attacks on america”
if there can be any doubt at all about the vocation of the modern media – it is the vocation of forgetting

I would like to add my best wishes to everyone here for a tranquil day. for whatever reason you have to make this day special, it is often when families are together which is my case and a day for meeting old friends which is also my case. the actual commercial part of Christmas causes me a lot of anxiety but I really do try to overcome that because it is a special ritual for others near and dear to me and I do not want to take away that joy from them.
a special wish for better health goes out to a man I have yet to meet but feel like I know well. I still plan on visiting Nantes and fully intend to go there this coming summer. So, friend Christopher you need to get better or at the very least not get any worse.
buon Natale a tutti!

dan
we have heard each other’s voices & in yours i feel warmth – you are more than welcome to visit me & i truly hope i am feeling better than i do today or for the last year. i have always been resolute & when i was quite young one of my roles in demonstrations – because my memory was good was to shout citations from mao tse tung to my comrades (tho tonight it seems a little ridiculous, i do not regret it)from the little red book that showed ostentatiouslly from our jean jacket just below our enormous mao badges – i would shout be resolute fear no enemy, surmount all difficulty to win victory or something like that
it has been too long a moment with this health like it is but it is a passage & we will meet , dan od steel – & pass a strong moment with one another
wishing you well, as always
