PA Primary Crystal Ball

There are lots of polls and even poll internals on tomorrow’s PA primary.

As someone who never answers poll questions, I am dubious of these.

We might find more accurate numbers by using the crystal ball anna missed provides us with.

What results do you see in it?

  • For Pennsylvania?
  • For the general election?

I see a slight edge for Hillary, but not enough for her to regain the lead in the overall race. Rush Limbaugh will be happy to have two Democratic candidates to kick around at the same time.

i think obama is going to knock her chances (or at this point her fantasy of a chance) once and for all in penn. i think obama is going to win in penn by a small margin. i’ll go w/ppp’s poll numbers giving obama a 3 pt lead.

As someone who never answers poll questions, I am dubious of these.

I on the other hand often answers poll questions, but rarely honestly. Instead I provide the answers that will push my agenda forward. For example, if polled on what I thought about a commercial, I always answer that I do not remember it. Because I want them to think their commercials are failing and spend less on commercials.

Thank you AGAIN anna missed. All kinds of wonderful things coming out of the art shack. We’re richer for your sharing. There’s a little relief from tension in this one.
Polls? I was reminded the other day that polls are generally conducted on land lines and that the young this time around who’re very involved tend to rely on cell phones. So where does that leave polls? (time out for call from DNC; busy busy). Anyway, I’m with annie on this one. [wishful thinking].
otoh – I don’t trust the vote counters and the powers moving behind the scenes. Obama took everyone by surprise this winter. Has there been some fine tuning going on?
There is a show coming, right anna missed?

Awesome piece anna missed, I wish I had your artistic skills and eye for what works.

Because I want them to think their commercials are failing and spend less on commercials.

I am not sure if that is working Askod, coz the conclusion marketing people draw from you answering you can’t remember seeing the add, is that they maybe have to revamp the add, but certainly to increase the spot frequency.

the conclusion marketing people draw from you answering you can’t remember seeing the add, is that they maybe have to revamp the add,
it depends on what the product is. a company working on the subliminal mind may not want the audience to even consciously notice an advertisement. just the recognition of/desire for the product.
i normally mute all tv commercials. lately i have misplaced my remote, i literally plug my ears (and move my fingers a little to drowned out any sound) during the soft spoken pharma warnings. (i don’t want names of diseases entering my consciousness) i do this for most commercials. i also don’t listen to the radio (rarely) because i like some control regarding what thoughts are introduced into my conscious.
if you want them to spend less on advertisements
tell them you always change channels when they come on or mute them. tell them you boycott products that advertise on political shows you don’t like ( fox news). if you tell them you don’t remember their commercials they may think they are being successful. they would like nothing more than having the audience watch endless streams of commercials and never even notice.

sorry, the first paragraph was supposed to be italiced. juan’s words.

Posted by: annie | Apr 22 2008 3:32 utc | 8

actually, one could call it the crystal ball effect, the purpose is to hypnotized the public. not only to by the product, but to buy into the need for the product ie, normalizing illness.
in the future, what will you become?
she will

Philly machines malfunctioning/Dirty Tricks charges flying

Sam Wood reports:
10:20 a.m.
Readers and Inquirer reporters attempting to cast ballots this morning found long lines across the region created by broken machines.
One of two machines was down at a busy Delaware County polling site. About 50 people already had voted by 9:15 a.m. at the Temple Israel on Spruce and Bywood Avenue in Upper Darby, which is heavily populated by immigrant and first time voters. Many of those freshly-minted voters had difficulties using the one machine that still functioned. “Hell of a day for one of the machines to be down,” said one poll worker.
In South Philadelphia, both voting machines were broken at 4th and Ritner, smack dab in the middle of a John Dougherty strong hold. “The dirty tricks have begun,” said Frank Keel, spokesman for the Dougherty campaign, who sees a conspiracy. “Democratic State Rep. candidate Christian DiCicco is the poll watcher,” Keel said. “Coincidence? We don’t think so.”
One reader wrote: I got to my polling place before 7 a.m.; 2nd ward, 27th division: as the polls were opening, one of two machines for my division was malfunctioning: electrical problem. Hmmmm….isn’t Dougherty an electrician?
In the city’s Spring Garden section, home to State Sen. Vincent Fumo, both machines were down at St. Andrews Lithuananian Church at 19th and Wallace. Voters grumbled when they learned their provisional ballots would not be counted tonight.

Rendell, Nutter and the “100 Mayors”. That may work in Pennsylvania but in the nation people are waiting and voting for Unity and Guts. If Hillary had guts she would of ran in 2004.

I went to vote at 7:30am and one of the machines was broken. This was in Delaware County, at a different polling place than what is mentioned above.

It appears Hillary and her Republican Bunch are screwing with the electorate once again. We, the people, should demand an investigation into the Dirty Tricks and suspend the election, pending everyone getting their vote recorded, by mail or other means. Enough of the Bush error politics; Hillary has completed her transition into a Republican.

Oh well – the state council here had bought machines for the election. My local Chaos Computer Club protested and made several demonstration on how to break into these.
The state elections were done on paper ballots. No machine scannner or anything involved. Just people from all parties.

Anyway – my tip for PA: Obama loses in overall percentage but only slightly. On delegates Clinton may have 1 more but that will be about it.

By the way – elections here are always on Sunday’s so people can (and do) actually come. The polling places are within 10 minutes walking distance and accessible for everyone. It is a simple process to make an absentee vote.
(Everyone is automatically registered to vote. One gets a postcard that one either uses to go to the polls or sends back to get an absentee ballot by mail. That one when marked is simply send back. No hussle at all. Still – turnout could be better than the 60-80% we usually have. I personally would favor something like paying 5 Euro for everyone who votes to increase participation.)

sad to say- i have lost complete interest in these warring elites
all we know for certain – is that those united states will be led by butchers

Clinton by 8-10%, not a significant pick-up in delegates, but 18 hours worth of momentum in the press; not enouch to change the outcome in North Carolina, but plenty for TV to fill the empty minutes that keep coming, relentlessly, for the next 4-6 weeks. Blech.

Heh I had to laugh at one of the comments reposted from another blog by Uncle which ended “Hillary has completed her transition into a Republican.” I hope the comment was ironic and this erstwhile dem does know that Hillary started off life as a repug and has never wavered from that, as a power behind the throne in the campaign to make two equal one she succeeded in turning old dems into neo-cons.
The outcome is irrelevant even though the conclusion is forgone. The elites and the media have decided that even a weak-ass zionist pseudo african-american is too risky when divide and rule has been brought home to roost. By that I mean that various ‘commentator’ opinion-makers or whatever these scum call those who lick their boots while thinking up new ways for the already loaded to become richer and more powerful, have decided that ‘unity’ or anything approaching it within amerika will make a state of perpetual war with everything outside amerika just too difficult to maintain.
The population is too diverse and information is just too free flowing for that type of strategy to succeed. When amerikans could be treated like the proverbial mushroom, in the dark and fed bullshit; getting everyone to unite around the flag, democracy, and murder was a simple ask. Now it is just too hard, so amerika will have a dose of Bagdhad rules. Keep everyone at each others throat so they are too busy trying to survive to notice the murders of children abroad.
The belief that Obama isn’t going to be able to maintain peace and love at home while ramping up the rape and theft overseas has become more widespread in the last couple of months, due in part to Clintoncorp propagandising, but the recent ‘difficulties’ in Iraq have also brought home the message that allowing someone to run on the ticket of ‘downsizing’ the murderers in Iraq isn’t going to lead to control and riches. On the other hand Hilary has shown no such qualms she is ready to “nuke the ragheads”. All talk of Iran being an undemocratic state where the people’s wishes aren’t reflected in government disappears when zionist votes are at issue. Even the “average innocent Iranians” must pay. They will be nuked. So Hillary plans to wipe Iran from the face of the earth. Hmm haven’t we heard that somewhere before. Of course when the prez of Iran said such things it transpired he hadn’t, that some CNN translator got a bit loose with his/her translation.
Anyway well off track there. The point is I guess that as Giap said above all three are butchers, but sometime in the last couple of months a firm decision has been made to run with a butcher who doesn’t mind being caught standing knee deep in the gore.
