Hope

The old story associated with Bethlehem and commemorated by many these days is about hope.

Hope for more light and new beginnings, needed as much today than ever.

Somehow the days seem to get longer again. There is no eternal darkness?

Then these walls will come down again too.

I wish you all some contemplative, hope- and peaceful holidays.

Speaking of internment camps, and Have-Little:Have-More Apartheid,
where are they going to put 200,000 returning US servicemen to work,
when all our street corners will be taken by 2,000,000 ARM-evicted?
Doesn’t anyone remember 1973,when all the Nam vets came back??
Can you imagine the leap in unemployment to 109-163 ’em into jobs?
And then the election on top of that mess? Romney is a slam-dunk win.
God … and Jobs. That’s all Mitt has to run on. Hillary’s got nothing.
All the “bring the troops home” candidates will be holding aces and eights.
The key to winning will be to confabulate Scientology with Mormonism.
If any candidate can successfully make enough “mistakes” talking about
Dianetics vers Joseph Smith vers Ordo Templi Orientis vers Thetans,
to freak out voters that Mormonism and Scientologists are the same,
they might just pull the election over to a win … for John McCain!
McCain, of course, has an Apartheid Wall Program all of his own.

Reposting a link to a video that shows a different perspective on life in the holy town of Bethlehem, 2007. A video that shows that hope can persist — in the form of human connection — even in the most dismal of circumstances.
May hope triumph over darkness, in the end.
