Love this!! I’ve always fantasized about life in forgotten spaces; the medians of interstates, tops of buildings. Looking to the future maybe.

Now imagine 12,500,000 more of these tenters in dark corners of public places in America. Already you can see a “trickle down” of homelessness and unemployment on the edges of the cities, under the freeway overpasses, along the bus park and rides.
First tens, then hundreds, then hundreds of thousands, TEN KATRINA’s WORTH, evicted, rounded up and shipped in cattle cars to some border detention camp as slave labor in mequiladoras. What the hell do you think happens to them? You think they all fly on home to Jesus by’n by?

Part of an art project called “river lights”. There is a small lamp burning in the tent at night. The object itself is titled “Nobody Is An Island”.
The tent appears to me to be a miniature, not full size. Is it?
