Billmon,
For someone with your refined artistic sensibilities, let alone patriotism, this must be an excruciating time. But it would clearly be better for the present House leadership to keep their positions until the election. Four weeks is a long time in electoral politics, and the key voters have the attention spans of hummingbirds.
