The US prison population grew by nearly 11,000 yesterday.
“In all, Gonzales said officials caught 10,733 fugitives — including 1,659 sex offenders, 364 gang members and thousands of others sought on kidnapping, robbery, burglary, carjacking and weapons charges. More than 230 weapons were seized.
War criminals, on the other hand, were given a free pass since they were probably planning to vote for GOP incumbents.
Looks like we’re going to need some more prison space… oh, wait…

Sorry about the duplicate. Haven’t been looking around as thoroughly as I ought before sharing. Didn’t mean to step on anyone’s toes.
Anyway, if they really have your number, it’s too late already. Conchita left a post somewhere or other about a blanket no-fly initiative slated for January 2007, and I’m interested in seeing some follow-up to that.
