WB: The Lieberman Principles

Billmon:

You know I started out (back in the Monica days) only mildly disliking Holy Joe. Now he practically gives me the dry heaves every time I see his pasty mug on the tube. I don’t know if absence really does make the heart grow fonder, but in Joe’s case I would love to find out.

Seeing that the Pennsylvania Greens’ petitions seem to be falling apart, I wonder if Loserman’s petition to run as an independant will fall short of the required number of signagures.

One less kiss-ass to despise. Bye Joe!

Good point, o my namesake. These signatures tend to be pretty low-quality.
The Dems’ estimate is that 70% of the Penn Greens’ signatures are ineligible. If that same proportion of Lieberyutz’ 18,000 signatures are invalid, he falls below the threshold required to make the ballot. Carol Keeton Strayhorn Whatever in Texas had less than half her signatures valid (but that was enough to qualify her anyway).
The way he’s run his campaign, I can very easily see his signature pages containing 500 pages of heartfelt endorsements from Mickey Mouse.

You know, from over here, to me anyway, Joe always looked more like one of the Cheney Gang, just like Kim Beasley looks more like someone who doesn’t mind having the brown rim a GWB leaves around your nose once he’s sucked you into his less than friendly visions of planet earth, err, e.g. John Howard, so from where I am standing, c ya later Joe.
