Yes, that’s right: Hillary Clinton is now more popular than George W. Bush. And cholera and crab lice are moving up fast in the outside lanes.

Time to break out the champagne. The bottle at hand isn’t very good, but then Bush isn’t a very good President.

I’m not that excited about Bush’s falling poll numbers. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. He was bad when these people had him at 90% approval.

Rowan, the point is that Bush is now a radioactive boat anchor for the GOP. That’s why they’re trying to distance themselves from him, claiming that he’s not a “real” conservative like “they” are. Our job is to point out that they vote in lockstep with him and always have, so they’re lying when they say that he isn’t really one of them.

I disagree, Phoenix Woman.
The GOP is correct that Bush was never a ‘real’ conservative; he is a fascist. That the new GOP voted in lock step with this non-conservative fascist means that the whole Republican Party leadership is also fascist.

29%

President Bush’s job-approval rating has fallen to its lowest mark of his presidency, according to a new Harris Interactive poll. Of 1,003 U.S. adults surveyed in a telephone poll, 29% think Mr. Bush is doing an “excellent or pretty good” job as president, down from 35% in April and significantly lower than 43% in January.
Roughly one-quarter of U.S. adults say “things in the country are going in the right direction,” while 69% say “things have pretty seriously gotten off on the wrong track.” This trend has declined every month since January, when 33% said the nation was heading in the right direction.
